Nicky Jam – Melancol

Today, singer, songwriter, rapper, and actor Nicky Jam released the music video of the highly-anticipated ballad “Melancol” stemming from his new album Infinity.

“Melancol” is a ballad that surprised all of Nicky Jam’s fans, because it’s the first time we’ve ever heard the artist display his vocal range to that extent, captivating listeners in a melodic trip through the memories of a relationship that will no longer be. It has become one of the most praised songs from the new album thanks to its beautiful melody and impressive vocalizations.

“Everything that has a beginning has an end // All that becomes all, one day becomes nothing // Everything changes here, what did you expect // What goes up has to come down,” Nicky sings in Spanish in the chorus, in this very real scenario that resonates with so many.

The music video, directed by Gus, shows Nicky in a desert alone during a sunset, symbolizing all the beauty of a past relationship that now comes to an end, and then the period of “darkness” before a new love comes along and the sun rises again.

“Melancol” is part of Nicky Jam’s new album, Infinity, his most versatile yet, which takes the listener on a trip through all the genres he has mastered throughout his career, from old school reggaeton to raw and real rap verses, to the romantic and melodic slow-tempo songs that really showcase his singing voice.

360 Magazine is pleased to see artists from other countries thriving internationally. Nicky Jam is also preparing for his upcoming INFINITY TOUR 2022. This will be Nicky Jamߣs first official tour post-pandemic that will hit major cities across the United States and Canada. The tour will kick off in Boston on February 3, 2022, and end in Seattle on March 27, 2022, with stops in New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, Orlando, Miami, Houston, Hidalgo, Ontario, Los Angeles, and San Jose. Manuel Torizo – Te Olvido

Latin music superstar Manuel Torizo released his new song and music video, “Te Olvido.”

“Te Olvido” is a ballad that turns into a slow-tempo reggaeton that talks about being deceived by the person you thought was your partner and asking them to never come back. The song begins with Torizo giving us the backstory of the situation before transitioning to the pre-chorus, and finally dropping the beat in the chorus.

“Don’t even bother giving my an explanation // If you ever think of apologizing when you’re alone // I hope you don’t even try it // Just remember I was rooting for you, and you threw everything out the window // You didn’t care how much I valued you, it just ended in lies,” Manuel Turizo begins singing, portraying his heartbreak with a lot of feeling that comes through his performance.

The music video, directed by P The Chemist, shows Manuel accepting the heartbreak and promising himself to forget that deception in one night. The inspiration behind it was the year 2000, which is the year when Manuel was born and will be the name of his upcoming third album. In the video, the viewer immerses themself in a memorable trip to the past with very recognizable tributes to shows, fashion, and celebrities that shaped a generation.

The video begins in a girl’s bedroom, exactly how you’d expect a teenager in the 2000s to decorate her room. Her TV is on, where we see the first hint of Manuel before taking us into his universe which feels like a mix of MTV Cribs and Entertainment Tonight. His fashion choices are very reminiscent of the styles of icons such as Pharrell, Nelly, and even Justin Timberlake, as he shows how he’s now getting over the heartbreak.

About Manuel Turizo

Manuel Turizo found fame after releasing his song “Una Lady Como Tù” (1.5 billion views) in 2016 and topping Colombia’s and then Latin America’s charts. This unprecedented success caught the attention of Juan Diego Medina and La Industria INC, who signed him as their artist to continue pushing a successful career of a very talented young man. His following singles “Esperàndote” and “Culpables” have garnered over 700 million views each, further cementing the career of Manuel Turizo among Latin music’s favorites.

He’s collaborated with names such as Nicky Jam, Ozuna, Darell, Noriel, Anuel AA, Zion & Lennox, Wisin & Yandel, Rauw Alejandro, Myke Towers, Piso 21, Maluma, Sech, Jay Wheeler, Mau & Ricky, Camilo, and more, and his songs have received multiple certifications from gold to platinum. He’s been nominated for Premios Juventud, Latin American Music Awards, Premios Tu Mùsica Urbano, Latin Billboards, and Latin Grammys.

Manuel Turizo has released two highly successful albums, ADN and Dopamina, and is working on his third project, 2000, an ode to the year he was born in. Currently, he’s on tour across the US, passing through cities such as Tampa, Chicago, El Paso, Orlando, Houston, New York, and more.

Kuttem Reese – Industry Music

KUTTEM REESE GOES HARD ON NEW SINGLE INDUSTRY MUSIC

Riding high with millions of streams and widespread acclaim, Kuttem Reese’s breakout summer continues. The buzzing Orlando rapper unleashes his latest single Industry Music today. The song will be included in the upcoming Madden NFL 22 video game soundtrack album.

Listen to Industry MusicHERE.

On the track, trap keys pierce through hypnotic 808s as he launches into an intense flow. The momentum builds towards a bold, brash, and biting hook about the state of the game.

While everyone else might be making Industry Music, Kuttem Reese is making music for the culture…

Thus far, his 15-track debut mixtape, Kutt Dat Boy, has tallied north of 5 million total streams and counting. Inspiring tastemaker applause, XXL Magazine described him as polished and well-formed.

He initially bulldozed a path for the record with No Statements [feat. Lil Durk], which has clocked over 1.7 million Spotify streams. HotNewHipHop christened it extremely hard-hitting and went on to praise, Kuttem Reese offers up some dope energy that will make you want to get in the gym and get back on your grind. Meanwhile, Durk comes in with menacing bars that certainly help demonstrate the chemistry between himself and Reese.

About his come-up, HipHopDX praised, yet another artist from Florida is on their way to the big leagues, while the Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers bumped his banger Madden to celebrate their NFC championship win earlier this year.

Kuttem Reese beat the toughest of odds in Orlando, FL by kinetically rapping nonstop. Born and raised in Orlando as the oldest of six kids, he grew up fast. Shortly after Reese’s eighth birthday, his mother went to prison for three years. He and his siblings moved in with his grandmother until mom returned home. Along the way, Reese developed a passion for music. One night, he picked up a microphone and rapped to a friend’s beat in a hotel room. He posted it on Instagram and continued to cut tracks. Following his debut My Story, he dropped a string of successful singles, including Rugrat and Boston Celtics. Within six months since that night in the hotel, he has already put serious numbers on the board with nearly 5 million cumulative YouTube views and 1 million-plus Soundcloud plays in addition to attracting acclaim from Elevator and more. In 2021, he throws down even harder with his debut mixtape for Republic Records.

Sphere We Go! STEM Exhibit

WonderWorks Orlando Unveils New STEM Exhibit Explaining Earth’s Spheres: Sphere We Go!

WonderWorks Orlando announces the opening of a new exhibit focused on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The new exhibit topic will focus on the layers of the Earth’s spheres and is scheduled to open March 11, 2021.

“Earth is a topic that most people love to learn about, so we are excited about this new exhibit,” says Brian Wayne, general manager of WonderWorks Orlando. “This will give families a fun way to learn about this STEM topic, whether it’s just for fun or if they are looking for a way to expand upon their child’s formal education.”

The new exhibit will help teach people about the four different layers in Earth’s spheres, including the lithosphere (or geosphere), hydrosphere, biosphere, and atmosphere. In addition to learning about each layer, the exhibit also explains how the four layers interact with each other. The new exhibit will include images and content to read. There is also a 3D hologram high-definition video–no special glasses required–that provides a visual explanation of the layers and how they interact, to enhance the viewing experience.

STEM education, according to the National Inventors Hall of Fame, focuses on teaching children real-world applications that help develop a variety of skill sets. Some of the skills children gain through STEM education include technology literacy, problem solving, creativity, curiosity, critical thinking and being innovative. Finding ways to introduce them to STEM topics in a fun way can help to get them more interested.

“We look forward to helping families learn more about the spheres that make up Earth,” added Wayne. “We continue in our mission of making learning fun!”

To choose the name for the new poll, WonderWorks held a poll asking people to choose from three names. Employees and social media users weighed in, with the following being the outcome of the exhibit name poll: Sphere We Go! is the official new name of the exhibit.

  1. Sphere We Go! – 51% of the vote
  2. Get Outta Sphere! – 38%
  3. Sphere Not These Earthly Layers! – 11%

Additional onsite and community programs include the WonderWorks WonderKids event, virtual learning labs, FLO-Art Florida Youth Art Gallery, science fair partnerships, online science information and worksheets and a homeschool program. WonderWorks Orlando also offers various STEM activities, including virtual learning labs, onsite exhibits, activities and more.

NBA Protests

by Justin Lyons

The clock struck 4:05 p.m. on Aug 26 in Orlando, and neither the Magic nor the Bucks were on the court for the tip-off of the fifth game of their playoff series.

Playing their home games just 40 miles from Kenosha, Wisconsin, it’s safe to say that the shooting of Jacob Blake by Kenosha police literally hit close to home for the Bucks players.

The Orlando Magic originally took the court for their game, but they decided to leave when it appeared the Bucks weren’t coming. That court was now empty aside from the NBA logos, the regulation markings and “Black Lives Matter” in bold text across the side closest to the scorer’s table.

Then, the tweet from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski came at 4:13 p.m. Orlando time saying that the Bucks officially decided to boycott the fifth game of the series.

News broke later that the Rockets, Thunder, Trail Blazers and Lakers all decided to boycott their games, as well, in a show of unity.

It was the spark that started the fire, as basketball wouldn’t be played again until Aug. 29.

Bucks guard George Hill was one of the most outspoken players on the team regarding the shooting of Jacob Blake, making it very clear that he couldn’t continue to play basketball to distract from the reality of what’s happening in the United States.

The Brewers, the Milwaukee baseball team that plays its home games just a short drive from where the Bucks play, also decided to cancel their Aug. 26 game against the Reds.

Brewers star Christian Yelich said it was a unanimous decision from the team to not play.

“I think the Bucks spearheaded it for us,” Yelich said. “They started the discussion. It gave us a conversation to have. It was eye-opening for us, and we felt like it was the right thing to do.”

The NHL also joined in the protests, postponing games Aug. 27 and Aug. 28.

Later on the night of Aug. 26, Shams Charania reported via Twitter that the Lakers and Clippers, both of which are still contenders for the title, voted to boycott the rest of the season. LeBron James reportedly led the movement to cancel the season, which is no surprise given his history of fighting for social justice.

Giannis Antetokounmpo said the Bucks were able to get in contact with Blake’s father very quickly. Blake’s father was moved to tears by the gesture.

According to an article from ESPN, Antetokounmpo said, “Obviously, it’s gonna be games that you come in and score 30, 35, 50 or whatever the case might be, but that you’re going to remember. The way we felt, we’re going to remember the way we felt for the rest of our lives.”

The Bucks were eliminated from the playoffs Tuesday, which begs the question of how they will respond. Hill expressed disappointment that he had to be in the Orlando bubble instead of fighting for justice, so it should be interesting to see where the Bucks go from here.

Eyes are also shifting to the NFL, which starts Thursday. The entire nation will have its eyes on protests and social justice initiatives from a league that has been just as outspoken as the NBA.
