Jubel – So Sick

Swedish pop-duo Jubël shared their rendition of Ne-Yo‘s “So Sick.” Listen to “So Sick” HERE via Warner Records. On “So Sick,” the duo is staying true to the original’s smooth R&B while adding their trademark sound of organic guitars and breezy summer feel good vibes.

The Swedish duo has been performing “So Sick” live and at radio shows for years, as Ne-Yo’s “So Sick” was a personal favorite of the duo growing up. After being requested by fans, Jubël is finally releasing it as a single along with a behind-the-scenes making of the track. Watch the BTS footage HERE

The release follows the massive success of Jubël’s breakthrough track “Dancing In The Moonlight” ft NEIMY, which received multi-platinum certifications across Europe and a remix from Tiësto while landing #1 on the UK radio play chart and Top 10 on the UK airplay year-end chart.

“We’re like a live band with electronic elements and influences,” Jubël says. “We have songs with pop-structures, but it’s all very danceable, four-on-the-floor music.” That winning formula has garnered the chart-topping, platinum-selling group millions of cross-platforms streams—all within a couple short years.

About Jubel

Consisting of Sebastian Atas as primary producer and lead vocalist and Victor Sjöström as the key songwriter and player of all instruments, both artists started off in their local EDM scene with Victor DJing and Sebastian producing.  With nearly 700 million streams worldwide, Jubël continues to deliver dance-pop hits like “Dancing in the Moonlight,” as well as “Weekend Vibe” and “Dumb” off of their 2021 EP, 6115 Orange Street which received acclaim from FLAUNT, The Music Essentials and more.

NBA Meechy Baby – Get in There

Kicking off 2022 with a bang, Meechy Baby unleashes a brand new single and music video entitled “Get in There” via Never Broke Again/Motown. Listen HERE. Watch the music video HERE.

The track hinges on a jaggedly menacing beat fueled by 808s and skittering cymbals as Meechy Baby tears through the production with tenacious verses. It all culminates on a commanding hook, “Get in there.” In the accompanying visual, he turns up next to a luxury SUV as he flows directly into the camera. It hints at his unbridled star power and raw charisma.

He captured the attention of audiences everywhere on last year’s red-hot compilation “Never Broke Again Vol. 1.” Across a stacked track listing, he bodied “Pure Dope” [feat. Rjae & Rojay MLP], “Chippewa,” “Til Da Morning,” “Parking Lot,” and “Cutlass.” Of the latter, HotNewHipHop praised, “Paying ode to the old school car, the rapper brings high energy,” and Rolling Stone noted, “He raps about his lifestyle and his love of the American classic.” He has already amassed over 3 million streams and counting.

However, everything just paves the way for more music from Meechy Baby.

A competitor on the 29th season of ABC’s hit television series “Dancing with the Stars,” Jackson is mostly known for her role as Zuri Ross in the Disney Channel show “Jessie” and its spin-off series “Bunk’d,” as well as her social media presence. Jackson and Bersten then danced the jive to “Almost There” from “The Princess and the Frog.” They scored an 18 and moved on to the next round.

Week four saw the two dance the foxtrot to John Legend‘s “Ordinary People.” Jackson dedicated the dance to her “Jessie” co-star Cameron Boyce, who died at the age of 20 in 2019.

She spread the word about dedicating the dance on Twitter.

“Just got off stage…I did my thing for Cameron tonight,” she tweeted.

She also encouraged viewers to donate to the Cameron Boyce Foundation, a program that honors Boyce with a goal to end gun violence and cure epilepsy. Alongside additional investors, the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) participated in this funding round.

LÜM is thrilled to announce its partnership with multi-GRAMMY Award winner NE-YO and Compound Entertainment co-founders, music executives; Tishawn Gayle and Rynell “Tango” Hay. Ne-Yo – “U 2 Luv”

Today, Ne-Yo released his new single, “U 2 Luv” featuring Jeremih. The upbeat, unabashedly romantic track is from Ne-Yo’s forthcoming album. The two acclaimed vocalists teamed up with producers Retro Future and Ne-Yo’s longtime collaborator, Curtis “Sauce” Wilson, to record the song, which smoothly adds elements of two classic 1980s hits – Mtume’s “Juicy Fruit” and Zapp’s “Computer Love.”

To celebrate the single’s launch, Ne-Yo has teamed up with Postmates to support healthcare heroes caring for COVID-19 patients. Tonight, hero nurses in the ICU at Emory Medical Center in Atlanta will be Postmated meals from Subway during their breaks thanks to Ne-Yo, Postmates and Feed Hero Nurses (a volunteer-run organization in partnership with Random Acts that is dedicated to providing meals to nurses on the frontlines).

ARMIN VAN BUUREN × NE-YO

AIM FOR THE SOUL WITH NEW ‘BALANCE’ COLLAB: ‘UNLOVE YOU

Just one week before the release of Armin van Buuren’s seventh artist album, a huge collab emerges as the most recent single to come off of ‘Balance’. A monumental link-up with none other than R&B/pop superstar NE-YO, ‘Unlove You’ sees the seminal artists explore the subject of a recognizable post-breakup dilemma in their own unique way.

A collaboration as eye-popping as it is ear-catching, ‘Unlove You’ delivers its lyrical message with pinpoint accuracy whilst sporting a club-tinged groove that can do no wrong. With killers vocals, pounding beats and recognizable lyrics that aim straight for the soul, this track shows that being open-minded unlocks a whole new world of possibilities. The track was also produced by award-winning producers Jesse ‘Corporal’ Wilson and Tearce Kizzo.

Armin van Buuren: “Part of the beauty of having no limitations at all in the studio is that I get to work with the most talented people no matter what ‘genre’ they’re in, and NE-YO is no exception. It’s an honor to have worked together. We both built a legacy in our own respective scenes, and I’m grateful we were able to bridge the gap between them through ‘Unlove You’.”

NE-YO: “I already loved this song because of its subject matter, as it’s familiar territory. But Armin’s musical interpretation takes it to a whole other level. The energy is contagious!”

Throughout his more than a decade long career, NE-YO has proven himself to be as powerful with his pen as he is in the recording studio and on stage. The Las Vegas native, born Shaffer Smith, quickly became known as a go-to hitmaker, penning bangers like Rihanna’s ‘Unfaithful’, ‘Russian Roulette’ and ‘Take a Bow’, Beyonce’s 2006 breakup anthem ‘Irreplaceable’, and Mario’s sugary breakout single ‘Let Me Love You’. His first single, 2005’s ‘So Sick’, soared to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, and was certified quadruple platinum. Since then, the triple Grammy winner has racked up a collection of hits, including stream bombs such as ‘Sexy Love’, ‘Closer’, ‘Because of You’ and ‘Miss Independent’.

Prior to the release of the full ‘Balance’ album on October 25, Armin van Buuren already released a handful of new tracks from the album. Previously, fans got a taste of the album through ‘Waking Up With You’ (feat. David Hodges), ‘Mr. Navigator’ (with Tempo Giusto), ‘It Could Be’ (with Inner City), ‘High On Your Love’ (feat. James Newman), ‘Don’t Let Me Go’ (feat. Matluck) and ‘All Comes Down’ (feat. Cimo Fränkel). And now, with the release of ‘Unlove You’ and the fact that there are only seven days to come until the album launch, the wait is almost over.
