Super Bowl at W Scottsdale

With millions of us holding our breath for the Rihanna NFL Super Bowl performance at half time, Playboy brilliantly created a mesmerizing weekend of events.

After the first three nights of the Pepsi Zero Sugar & E11even Miami by Cardi B and G-Eazy, including debut night with Rick Ross, the illustrious W Scottsdale embraced multi-hyphenate global sensation Ludacris on the schedule for the fourth night during the Playboy annual Big Game Weekend party.

Luda sang for 45 minutes all his greatest hits and had the crowd up singing and dancing along.

Songs: What’s Your Fantasy, Roll Out, Area Codes, Stand Up, Get Back, Money Maker, and more.

Upon entering the stage, Ludacris dripped into designer duds from the Supreme x Playboy collection while rocking avant-garde shades and commanded the attention of the public with his hit list. As the crowd grew more and more enthusiastic and frantically waved its hands toward the sky, some of today’s most prolific sports stars could be seen savoring coveted artisanal cocktails. And sprinkled throughout, a handful of the brightest in Hollywood has been spotted mixing and nibbling. Guests couldn’t seem to get enough of the scrumptious Cookie Pop and Candy Pop treats which came in an assortment of flavors, the all new Cereal Pop Fruity Pebbles, plus signature Snickers, Sour Patch Kids, OREO, M&Ms, Twix and Butterfinger.

Plus, he emerges in the biggest category of the night, garnering a nomination for “Best Album of the Year” for his contribution to Mary J Blige’s Good Morning Gorgeous [Deluxe].

Stay tuned for more from DJ Khaled as always!

Earlier this year, Khaled captured #1 on the Billboard Top 200 with his thirteenth full-length studio album, GOD DID [We The Best Music Group/Epic Records]. It stood out as his fourth career #1 debut on the Top 200 and fifth straight #1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart.

 Get GOD DIDHERE.

The album has arrived as a cultural milestone in its own right. Stretching past the eight-minute mark, the title track “GOD DID” [feat. Rick RossLil WayneJAY-ZJohn Legend, & Fridayy] has sparked an important conversation. As part of a special report for MSNBC, Ari Melber host of The Beat broke down JAY-Z’s four-minute verse as a cogent and cohesive analysis on the failures of the prolonged generational drug war framed through the icon’s own journey embodied in the rhyme, “cocaína into champagne. However, it didn’t stop there. KhaledJAY-Z, Melber, and journalist Rob Markman engaged in this discourse publicly on Twitter SpacesJAY-Z went one step further and uploaded Melber’s initial report as “HOV DID” on all streaming platforms. Rolling Stone and People have chronicled this chain of events, and the conversation continues. However, it all started on “GOD DID.

Meanwhile, “Use This Gospel (Remix) [feat. Kanye WestEmimen (prod. by Dr. Dre The ICU)] bowed at #1 on the Billboard Hot Gospel Songs Chart and Hot Christian Songs Chart—Khaled’s first #1 entries on the respective charts. Additionally, he notched 10 entries on the Billboard Hot 100, including “God Did” at #17, “Staying Alive,” which is now RIAA Certified Gold, at #21 (Greatest Gainer/Streaming), “Beautiful” at #29, “Big Time” at #31, “Use This Gospel (Remix)”at #49, “Juice WRLD Did” at #55, “Keep Going” at #57 “Party” at #66, “It Ain’t Safe” at #77 “No Secret” at #78 and “Let’s Pray” at #86.

Beyond posting up over 800 million cumulative streams and views, GOD DID finds Khaled everywhere. GQ spoke to him as part of an in-depth profile and proclaimed, “Sixteen years after his star-studded debut, 2006’s Listennn… the Album, many of its same guests showed up for God Did, and getting these now-giants to answer the call today is even more of an impressive feat.” Meanwhile, Elliott Wilson and Brian “B.Dot” Miller of Rap Radar chatted with him for an all-encompassing podcast. Plus, he took the stage at the MTV VMA to present the award for “Best Collaboration” to Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow for Industry Baby.

He celebrated the rollout with an unprecedented deluge of videos, including, “Big Time” [feat. Future Lil Baby], “It Ain’t Safe”[feat. Nardo Wick & Kodak Black],“Party All The Time”[feat. Quavo Takeoff], “These Streets Know My Name”[feat. SkillibengBuju BantonCapletonBounty Killer, & Sizzla], “Keep Going” [feat. Lil Durk21 Savage, & Roddy Ricch], “Beautiful” [feat. SZA Future],  “Way Past Luck” [feat. 21 Savage], and “Jadakiss Interlude” [feat. Jadakiss].

Delivering the hip-hop event of the summer, he welcomed an A-list cohort of friends to join him for his latest magnum opus. For the first time ever, he collaborates with none other than Dr. Dre and The ICU in addition to joining forces with EminemFutureKanye WestSZA21 Savage, Lil WayneLil DurkRoddy RicchTravis ScottLattoCity GirlsKodak BlackQuavoTakeoffGunnaBounty KillerSizzlaBuju BantonSkillibengCapeltonFridayyDon ToliverJadakiss, Nardo Wick, Vory, John Legend, and the late Juice WRLD. Of course, he also reunites with longtime brothers DrakeJAY-Z, and Rick Ross, while his sons Asahd and Aalam guest and co-Executive Produce once more. Check out the full tracklisting below.

He notably set the stage for the album with “Staying Alive” [feat. Drake Lil Baby]. It has already amassed over 185 Million audio streams and 50M views for the music video. Plus, it bowed at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100, holding strong on the chart.

The anthem king has returned with GOD DID, and he delivers his biggest, boldest, and best body of work to date.

Last year, Khaled unleashed his twelfth full-length album, KHALEDKHALED [We The Best Music Group/Epic Records]. It arrived as his third #1 debut on the Billboard Top 200, sixth #1 on the Top Rap Albums Chart, and fourth #1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart. It also reached platinum status.

On Friday, November 4, Red Bull Symphonic—an unprecedented collaboration of hip-hop and classical symphony—made its stateside debut in the cultural mecca of Atlanta, Georgia with rap icon Rick Ross performing with the all-Black symphony, Orchestra Noir. The sold out, standing room only event, held at the prestigious Atlanta Symphony Hall, delivered a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of music, community, and Black excellence.

After Maestro Jason Ikeem Rodgers led the Orchestra in a traditional symphony overture written specially for the evening, award-winning Parisian violinist Mapy took to the stage to perform a medley of hits, including Rihanna’s “Rude Boy,” Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love, Sister Nancy’s “Bam Bam,” and Usher’s “You Make Me Wanna.” Next up, acclaimed ensemble Sainted Trap Choir blessed the crowd with a soulful set of hip-hop covers that paid homage to the spirit of the evening.

Victor and Dustin Drai celebrate 25th Anniversary at Drai’s After Hours VIA 360 MAGAZINE

Drai’s 25th Anniversary

Drai’s Commemorates Incredible 25-Year Anniversary with a VIP Celebration and All-Night Party

Opened in 1997, Victor Drai’s iconic nightclub changed the Las Vegas landscape by introducing nightlife to the Las Vegas Strip

The iconic Drai’s Las Vegas, founded by legendary nightlife innovator Victor Drai, celebrated its remarkable 25-year anniversary on Saturday, Oct. 15 at its original Las Vegas location at Drai’s After Hours. Hosted by Drai and his son, Dustin Drai, who currently serves as vice president of entertainment at Drai’s Beachclub • Nightclub and is also his father’s business partner for Drai’s After Hours, the VIP event was a celebration of Drai’s past, present and future with a guest list that included current and former employees, executives and performers, reuniting to share fond memories, photos and stories of the historic club.

The evening’s formal presentation was highlighted by an official proclamation presented to Drai by Clark County Commissioners Tick Segerblom and William McCurdy II, symbolizing Drai’s standing as a one-of-a-kind Las Vegas hallmark, as well as a special video message from Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman.

With a nod to what he calls the “Drai’s family” both past and present, Dustin Drai stated, “Yes, we’re celebrating 25 years of Drai’s Las Vegas, but what we’re really celebrating is 25 years of being a part of Las Vegas nightlife and how my father has created not only jobs for the people that have worked here, but the nightlife industry overall which has provided livelihoods and careers to thousands and thousands of people who may or may not have come to Las Vegas without him coming here.”

Victor and Dustin were honored with a specially crafted 25-year anniversary cake before mingling and partying the night away at Drai’s After Hours, where guests including Wiz Khalifa, who headlined a Drai’s LIVE concert at Drai’s Nightclub earlier in the night, enjoyed an electric party that featured the return of many of Drai’s original house DJ’s who brought the night’s vibe back to the club’s early roots of house music.

Founder and visionary Victor Drai brought Drai’s, his uber-popular Los Angeles restaurant, to Las Vegas in 1997. By 1999, Drai’s had become Las Vegas’ in-demand hotspot for after-hours, with a line of people clamoring to get in from late at night through the early morning. In 2014, Drai expanded his nightlife footprint to the 11thstory rooftop of the hotel with the introduction of Drai’s Beachclub • Nightclub, a palatial 65,000-square-foot club, as part of the property’s rebrand to The Cromwell, a swanky boutique hotel. Drai’s After Hours remains in its original location in the basement of the property – where the walls are still awash in Drai’s signature red with Victor’s legendary art collection hanging from the walls.

Victor’s son, Dustin Drai, now ensures the continued success of his father’s vision by overseeing Drai’s After Hours and bringing epic full-length performances by A-list artists to the Drai’s Beachclub • Nightclub stage as part of the Drai’s LIVE series.

The Drai’s celebration weekend kicked off with a bang on Friday, Oct. 14, when music superstar Chris Brown attended the high energy concert by Grammy-nominated singer, Fabolous, at Drai’s Nightclub.

Over the past 25 years, Drai’s has hosted countless superstars and icons including Quincy Jones, Timbaland, Rihanna, Paris Hilton, Kourtney Kardashian, Nicki Minaj, Kevin Hart, Rick Ross, 50 Cent and more who have performed or partied at Drai’s in both Los Angeles and Las Vegas. There have been several exclusive events at Drai’s including E! Network’s Oscar Viewing and After Party in 2010, Jones and Chris Brown’s “Thriller” Night in 2015, and the Billboard Music Awards After Party in 2016.

Drai’s is the only nightclub in Las Vegas that offers full-length concerts by today’s top-charting artists. Every weekend, the Drai’s LIVE concert series brings big names like Chris Brown, 2 Chainz, Lil Baby and TIP to the rooftop of The Cromwell, with banner performances set to the stunning backdrop of the lights of the Las Vegas Strip. Drai’s Nightclub is open from 10 p.m. – 4 a.m. Friday – Saturday throughout the month. Drai’s Nightclub will be open on Sunday, Oct. 30 for a special Halloween weekend celebration. EARN YOUR LEISURE × INVEST FEST

This year’s festival brought out more than 12,000 people for the weekend-long assortment of activities & expert-led discussions focused on investing, entrepreneurship, real estate, and financial literacy. Speakers included billionaire Dan T. Cathy (chairman of Chick-fil-A), billionaire real estate entrepreneur Donahue Peebles, T.I., Dame Dash, Terrence J, DJ Envy, Angela Yee and many more.

Rashad and Troy have responded with an incredibly innovative and visionary platform to make this information open and accessible to all.”

The highlight of the festival came when billionaire writer/director Tyler Perry took to the stage alongside Earn Your Leisure hosts Troy Millings, Rashad Bilal to share words of wisdom and influential takeaways he learned throughout his career. Immediately following Tyler Perry’s fireside chat, Steve Harvey joined the guys on stage to congratulate them and to salute Mr. Perry.

“We created Earn Your Leisure and now Invest Fest to marry culture and commerce. We know that information and resources about financial literacy, investing, entrepreneurship and building generational wealth have traditionally been inaccessible for our culture, said Rashad Bilal, Troy Millings, Founders, Earn Your Leisure. Sponsored by ChaseVibraniumBET META, Invest Fest included a vendor marketplace with over 250 small businesses as well as live podcast stages with interviews from top entrepreneurs and celebrities.

The festival began with a VIP kick off-party featuring fireside chats with Terrence J, Kenny Burns and others, followed by a high-energy performance from T-Pain and a surprise performance by multi-platinum selling singer/songwriter Queen Naija.

NIA SULTANA – CRISTAL

Brooklyn singer/songwriter, Nia Sultana, releases the cinematic video for her new single Cristal featuring Che Ecru. Watch it HERE via Interscope Records. Filmed with a grainy, vintage look and rich golden-hour colors, the visual reflects the track’s charming come-up story in delightful detail. “Cristal” is available now at all digital retainers.

These imagistic details are captured more or less literally in the video, directed by James Bahman, which begins with the singer/songwriter crossing paths with a handsome stranger at a convenience store. They share lingering looks before continuing on their separate ways. The spark, however, is undeniable.

The new video arrives after Proven,” a love-on-the-rocks track featuring Rick Ross, her joyous day-breaker “In the Morning,” and the mellow after-hours anthem Ambiance.” Sultana first turned the heads of alternative-R&B fans with 2019’s “Coconut Water,” a relaxing jam that earned praise from outlets like NPR and was featured on the much-loved Escape Tracks platform on YouTube.

The proud Brooklynite’s recent music expertly captures the many highs and lows young women face, offering some truth with every note. In the music video for “Cristal,” Sultana considers how far she’s come — and plots the next chapter in her journey to the top.
