Bravo’s New Series “Get a Room With Carson & Thom”

Former Bravo “Queer Eye” favorites Carson Kressley and Thom Filicia have joined forces to form a dynamic design duo on Bravo Media’s “Get a Room with Carson & Thom,” premiering Friday, October 19 at 9PM ET/PT.

Their expert skills are put to use revamping hum drum spaces while reminding viewers that the best accent piece is the pair’s signature charm. For a sneak peek of the series, visit the link here.

Carson and Thom are here to hello fight the uniformity and ubiquity of American home design with a new business venture in “Get a Room with Carson & Thom.” Carson has been bitten by the décor bug, and he’s looking to his interior designer buddy, Thom, to take him under his wing and teach him the design trade from soup to nuts.

Each episode will feature two clients looking to transform a space. Some have big budgets and some small, but they’re all trying to create a beautiful room that is unique to them. With Carson’s fashion sense and bold personality and Thom’s designer acumen and friendliness, the bodacious besties will create breathtaking and affordable redesigns. These two arbiters of style work together, play together, argue, compromise, and create spaces as only they can in their quest to make America chic again.

Ralph Lauren 50th Anniversary

On the second day of New York Fashion week, celebrities and fashion elite came together to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Ralph Lauren.

The American fashion house marked its half century by hosting a fashion show and gala dinner seamlessly integrated against the backdrop of the Bethesda Terrace fountain in Manhattan’s Central Park, a homage to Mr Lauren’s hometown of New York City.

In keeping with the philanthropy of the brand, the event benefited the Central Park Conservancy – a private, nonprofit organisation that relies on donations to prevent the decline of the world-renowned park.

Mr Lauren initially launched his eponymous label in 1967 aged 28. The lifestyle brand began as a collection of men’s ties, before developing into the first ‘Polo’ menswear collection in 1968. Womenswear was introduced in the 1970s. Today, the designer still acts as chief creative officer at the brand.

Content includes interviews and GVs with guests David Lauren, Anne Hathaway, Blake Lively, Steven Spielberg, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to name a few and is available free of copyright and free of charge.

9th Annual LA Food Festival

Written By: Krishan Narsinghani

The city of Los Angeles is known for an assortment of activities and attractions. The amount of restaurants and food trucks the greater area of LA offers continues to skyrocket.

The ninth annual LA Food Festival took place at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California. Thousands of foodies entered the park on a sunny September day to try street bites, hand-crafted drinks and decadent desserts. The venue offered parking for a minimal fee and separate validated parking for VIP ticket holders. Inside the venue included live performances ranging from mariachi bands to top hits radio stations.

One of 360 Magazine‘s personal favorites was the fish tacos. Talk about paradise. With chili powder topped piña coladas, refreshing  salads and oriental wonders, the day was pleasantly overwhelming. The Indian cuisine vendor, Tukda, inspired a fusion of the traditional appetizer Pani Puri by mixing vodka in the liquid filling. It was a sweet and savory delectable that is served at their Culver City Location.

The festival concluded with a contest where guests could vote on their favorite foods and encouraged the use of social media through hashtags: #LAfoodfest + #FoodFestWinnerWinner + #stretchypants.

The day left everyone with high spirits and food comas. Check out LA’s hottest restaurants by visiting the vendor page at lafoodfest.com.

"When one puts themselves out there, they could potentially face criticism or receive some not very nice comments. Bullying has been a huge issue in today's world with social media," but Wengie does not let those kinds of things bother her in any sort of way.

"If you're putting yourself out there there's no way to escape negative comments! It's completely natural for people to not agree with your point of view and I always believe sometimes it's better to agree to disagree. They can have their opinion, but it doesn't need to affect my life! It's best also not to pay attention to them because sometimes they just are doing it to get a reaction, so I usually don't give them much attention unless I feel it's constructive and I could grow from it” said Wengie.
