M.O.D.O.K. HEAD GAMES

Showrunners for the upcoming Hulu series about the popular Marvel villain M.O.D.O.K. will also spearhead a brand new comic series with the character as the lead.

M.O.D.O.K. HEAD GAMES comes from Patton Oswalt and Jordan Blum, who will showcase the leader of the terroristic organization AIM.

M.O.D.O.K. will be outsmarting the rest of the Marvel universe on his way to victory and domination, but this story is a bit more personal. He is haunted by memories of a family he doesn’t know, putting his power, and his brain, at risk.

Oswalt said the writers of the show created such an amazing world for M.O.D.O.K. that they had to go further.

“We had so much creativity to burn that Jordan just said we should fill this in in a four-issue comic series as a background. I always love that, to be able to go even deeper into that world,” Oswalt said.

Blum added that he was excited to write the 616 version, or our world’s version, of M.O.D.O.K. specifically.

“We leapt at the chance to write the M.O.D.O.K. who had been there since Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and put our spin on him and pull from a lot of the other versions of M.O.D.O.K. in the past. The character is very flexible and I think you can do a lot with him,” Blum said.

The premiere issue of the series will hit shelves of comic book shops everywhere Dec. 2, and you can keep an eye out for the series starring the historic villain streaming on Hulu in 2021.

AREA15 Halloween

AREA15, the brand new immersive entertainment and art complex in Las Vegas, is hosting Halloween events to get visitors of all ages in the spirit.

Oct. 30 beginning at 4 p.m. and lasting until midnight is ScAREA15, an event that encourages guests to represent their favorite horror B-movie. Friendly to social distancing, there will be candy shoots, performances inside AREA15’s The Portal, costume contests, prizes and even more.

Early entry costs $5 while children aged ten and younger can enter for free. Early entry begins at 4 p.m. and ends at 7 p.m. and focuses on family-friendly events.

Late entry, which is geared toward adults, costs $15 for all guests. Late entry begins at 8 p.m. and ends at midnight.

Food is also available to purchase from The Beast Pop-up at an additional charge.

The second event is the Future Carnival Oct. 31 from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.. Again, early entry begins at 4 p.m. and lasts until 7 p.m. with family-friendly events. Late entry begins at 8 p.m. and lasts until 2 a.m. and is aimed at adults but allows visitors of all ages.

Early entry is $5, and late entry is $25 for every guest.

The Future Carnival is described as “part costume bash and part trippy transformation.” Costumed guests are invited to this event that includes acrobats, stilt walkers, fortune tellers, candy shoots, prizes and galaxy games. There will also be live performances inside The Portal along with costume contests.

Once again, The Beast Pop-up will serve food at an additional cost.

Rocket Fizz, the nationwide soda pop and candy shop is also bursting onto the scene in style by handing out complimentary pieces of taffy candy to all costumed visitors at their shop.

Funimation’s industry panel at FunimationCon 2020 was packed full of exciting new and returning series, an upcoming theatrical release, expansion of Funimation to Latin America, and more. On its streaming service, Funimation announced that all 220 episodes of the original Naruto series subbed and dubbed will launch in North America on July 6, and the next batch of One Piece dubbed episodes are coming in August to digital storefronts. Bud Light Dive Bar Tour

The Bud Light Dive Bar Tour 2019 is continuing with it’s third stop of the year. On Wednesday, June 26th The Bud Light Dive Bar Tour is stopping in San Francisco with FLETCHER putting on an intimate performance for Pride.

This night is especially exciting for us as we are partnering with GLAAD to put on a special show together, to further celebrate Pride month. Hannah Hart Stars in Edible History

Hi! Ever wondered about the origin story behind your favorite foods?

In Tasty’s new series, Edible History, internet superstar Hannah Hart is learning about and recreating the historic recipes of her favorite foods… with one catch: she has to use as many tools and techniques from that time period as possible.

Since premiering yesterday, the first episode of Edible History already has more than 2.5 million views and the response has been overwhelmingly enthusiastic – fans are loving the fun mix of entertainment and education.

Stanaj Returns With New Single

Today, vocal powerhouse Stanaj unveils his new single “Sweat.

Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Leroy Sanchez will embark on a 14-city tour, kicking off October 17 in Los Angeles, CA in support of his new single and video, “Preacher,” set to release in partnership with BroadbandTV (BBTV) on all digital streaming platforms October 19. Currently the most-streamed song in the world on Spotify for a week straight now, “Taki Taki” marks the second global number one record for the French DJ/producer (his first being “Lean On” ft. , his 2015 collaboration with Major Lazer), and a first number one for Selena Gomez, Ozuna, and Cardi B, who is the first female rapper to top the chart.
