Maalot Roma reveals food concepts of its Don Pasquale Restaurant
Reassessing the traditional Roman dishes and ingredients to create the unexpected gastronomic experience by executive chef Domenico Boschi.
Maalot Roma, set to become the new “lounge” in the Eternal City for those who want to be in the know, introduces its restaurant’s food concept, created by Don Pasquale’s executive chef Domenico Boschi.
Domenico and Edoardo Officioso, Maalot Roma’s General Manager, comment; “Don Pasquale wants to attract not only an international clientele but also the food connoisseurs in Rome. Our menu includes authentic Italian and Roman dishes together with innovative recipes that give homage to the tradition winking to unexpected and modern paring.” 360 Magazine is excited to try the menu as its hearing these interesting meals.
The breakfast features a wide selection of pastries, but also Roman Maritozzo con la Panna, Pizza with Mortadella and vast choice of cooked eggs reinvented with roman traditional ingredients – eggs with basil and tomatoes, eggs al Matriciana and eggs al Cacio and Pepe. However, the unexpected combinations don’t end here. The Maritozzo Salato featuring aubergines, cod, and potato, and meatballs is the menu’s most anticipated surprise.
Lunch and dinner options include a wide range of vegetables from local producers to meet the needs of modern trends. Those keen on plant-based gastronomic experiences can choose from Zucchine Romanesche, I Famosi Friggitelli, Le Puntarelle, and Cicoria. Among the starters is the fried octopus with chickpeas and chicory standouts. Main courses include Amatriciana Don Pasquale with smoked pig cheek by Sauris with handmade Pici and Roman pecorino DOP; Pappardelle, Ajo, Ojo, Baccalà, and Ceci for a rustic dish full of flavors; Vitella alla Fornara and Galletto alla Cacciatora, both meat dishes in which traditional recipes are re-created with innovative cooking technics to soften the meat and make it tasty and juicy.
The traditional Tiramisu or the Apple and Cinnamon Crumble delight those with a sweet tooth.

In the joining of two then-bedroom producers turned hugely successful DJs and producers, multi-platinum hitmaker Alan Walker and Grammy winner Imanbek release their track “Sweet Dreams,” which includes an infectious sample of Scatman John´s “Scatman (Ski-Ba-Bop-Ba-Dop-Bop)”. The track is filled to the brim with high energy and intensity and is the perfect way to kick off the summer.
The music video premieres on Alan Walker’s YouTube channel simultaneously, broadcasted to over 39 million subscribers. Shot in Dubai, the “Sweet Dreams” music is heavily influenced by Roman gladiatorial matches, elaborate visual effects and iconic movies set and filmed in the desert.
Walker talks about the song and accompanying music video:
“Eurotrance and techno were popular when I was a kid, so it really reminds me of my earliest musical inspirations. We had a blast incorporating the iconic “Scatman” chorus into “Sweet Dreams”, and we’re really happy with how the track turned out.”
Imanbek also weighs in on the exciting collaboration:
“I’m extremely excited to team up with a very talented and cool music head from Norway. Alan Walker is not only a colleague – he’s the originator of his own genre, so it is a real collab of two cultures and genres!”
Billboard Music Awards nominee and diamond selling DJ/producer Alan Walker’s new single “Sweet Dreams” out June 11th follows the release of his live concert film “The Aviation Movie” released June 5th on YouTube. The unique five part series, which took almost two years to create, combines footage from the Oslo Spektrum stop on Walker’s Aviation Tour and a narrative arc from the Walker cinematic universe. Woven in between the tracks and concert footage is a dynamic storyline from the World of Walker — after an apocalyptic event, a young woman, armed only with the AW logo, is on a journey to save the world. Along the way, she learns new skills and ultimately rebuilds society with the help of the like-minded Walker community. The film also features appearances by Walker’s collaborators Steve Aoki, Au/Ra, Isak, Iselin Solheim, Juliander, Julie Bergan, Omar Noir, Sophia Somajo, Tomine Harket, and Torine.
Walker latest singles include “Believers” featuring Conor Maynard, “Fake A Smile” featuring salem ilese, and “Space Melody (Edward Artemyev)” with VIZE and Leony. Previous collaborations include “Time,” a remix of his personal idol Hans Zimmer’s track. In 2019, he released a string of successful singles like “On My Way” with Sabrina Carpenter and Farruko and “Live Fast” with A$AP Rocky, in collaboration with the massive multiplayer online game PUBG, all while touring the world with his sold-out arena show “The Aviation Tour.” Since releasing his debut album “Different World” in late 2018, containing global sensation singles like the diamond selling “Faded,” “Alone,” and “All Falls Down,” Walker has played over 600 headline festival and arena shows, and picked up two Norwegian Grammy wins and a Billboard Music Award nomination, among others. Walker is the 9th most followed artist on YouTube, and the 20th most followed artist on Spotify, displaying the strength of his fanbase.
Walker to date holds over 130 million followers and 50 billion audio and video streams to his name, previously teaming up with massive hitmakers such as Ava Max, Noah Cyrus and A$AP Rocky, while producing remixes for internationally renowned artists like Sia, Coldplay, Kygo, Bruno Mars and Julia Michaels.
After inciting excitement with millions of streams and critical acclaim this month, ace Atlanta singer/songwriter Teddy Swims releases his debut Unlearning EP today via Warner Records.
To celebrate the EP’s arrival, he just shared the music video for the opening track “L.I.F.E.” The visual shows yet another side of the vocal dynamo on this standout song, co-written by mega-songwriters Poo Bear (Justin Bieber, Usher) and John Ryan (Maroon 5, John Legend). Speaking to the tranquility of the airy production, he sings alone in the desert as if channeling his surroundings into waves of emotion in every hook. Two women dance against a cool blue sky as his voice rings out with the affirmation, “That’s just life…nobody said it would be easy.”
Teddy paved the way for the EP last month with “Bed On Fire” and the incendiary music video that stars Leila George from TNT’s “Animal Kingdom.” Meanwhile, American Songwriter described the visual as “arresting” and crowned Teddy a “soulful powerhouse.” Unlearning also includes recent fan favorites “Broke” (feat. Thomas Rhett) and “Til I Change Your Mind.” Full tracklisting below.
About the project, Teddy commented, “I wanted to enter into the world with my first body of work knowing the songs were the best they could be. I felt like everything fit together in terms of what I wanted to say. The title perfectly encapsulates 2020! We’ve all had to do a little introspection, break some bad habits, and figure out who we are again. There are some things we took for granted that, thanks to this Pandemic, we had to really open our eyes and do some unlearning!”
This summer, Teddy will support GRAMMY Award-winning country rock leaders Zac Brown Band on The Comeback Tour across North America. He joins the bill on August 5 in Holmdel, NJ at PNC Bank Arts Center and performs on nine dates through August 29 in Cincinnati, OH at Riverbend Music Center.
Teddy recently appeared on A Little Later With Lilly Singh (watch HERE) and delivered his late-night television debut performance with “Bed On Fire” on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert (watch HERE). Teddy started out the year by being named a 2021 “Artist To Watch” by Rolling Stone who praise “A boundaryless approach comes through in Dimsdale’s original songs, which blend elements of hip-hop, R&B, country, and classic soul.” He also made his national television debut on The Kelly Clarkson Show with an unforgettable performance of his first release of the year “My Bad” (watch it HERE).

California Poison Control System (CPCS) reminds residents that with hot weather, rattlesnakes are more likely to be found on hiking trails and sunning in rural areas. Most bites occur between the months of April and October. Even baby rattlesnakes possess dangerous venom as soon as they hatch. About 300 cases are reported to CPCS annually in California, with additional other cases managed by physicians and hospitals.
“With people staying home because of the COVID-19 virus, there are more eyes on the ground in back yards and hiking trails than in previous years. While the odds of being bitten by a rattlesnake are small, residents can follow precautions outdoors that can minimize the chance of being bitten,” says Dr. Rais Vohra, Medical Director for the Fresno/Madera Division of CPCS. He added that children spending more time at home, rather than school, are naturally curious and may look into open pipes or under rocks, or kick loose brush and bushes where snakes may lie quietly. Children need to be carefully supervised outside, especially in wooded and desert areas where snakes tend to live.
Rattlesnakes do not always make a rattling sound, so someone can be standing next to a rattlesnake and not even know it.
Some rattlesnake bite prevention tips include:
Wear boots and long pants when hiking.
Stay on trails when hiking, away from underbrush and tall weeds.
Do not touch or disturb a snake, even if it appears dead.
Carefully inspect logs or rocks before sitting on them.
Never hike alone in remote areas. Always have someone with you who can assist in an emergency. Calling for help if alone is not an option, as cellphones do not always work in remote areas.
Teach children to respect snakes and to leave them alone.
Dr. Vohra says the symptoms of a rattlesnake bite may include extreme pain and swelling at the location of the bite; excessive bleeding; nausea; swelling in the mouth and throat making it difficult to breathe; lightheadedness; drooling; and even collapse, shock and death in rare cases.
“If you are bitten by a rattlesnake, immediate medical attention is critical,” Dr. Vohra said. “Severe or even life-threatening symptoms may occur within minutes after the bite, or in other cases may begin after couple of hours. In either event, your best bet is to get to a hospital as soon as you can.” He added that the following steps are important for any rattlesnake bite:
Get immediate medical attention.
Do not apply ice, do not use a tourniquet or constricting band, do not try to suck out the venom, and do not use any device to cut or slice the bite site.
Keep calm, do not run and keep the affected extremity elevated during transport to a medical facility.
Many veterinarians now carry rattlesnake anti-venom and rattlesnake vaccines for dogs and other pets that are bitten. Contact a veterinarian for more information.
Visit www.calpoison.org or call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222 (number is the same in all states) for questions about poison encounters. Trained pharmacists, nurses and other providers are available to help 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The service is free, confidential and interpreters are available. Get weekly tips about safety by texting TIPS to 20121 for English or texting PUNTOS to 20121 for Spanish. Follow CPCS on Facebook and on Twitter @poisoninfo.
