On November 17th, Cookie Pop and Candy Pop by SNAX-Sational Brands Group hosted the official launch party for The Popcorn Challenge #Snackgiving initiative to benefit the Ryan Seacrest Foundation at Hotel Ziggy in Los Angeles, raising funds for the Seacrest Studios Children’s Hospital network nationwide. Featured DJ sets by Riverdale star Hart Denton, Caroline D’Amore and Ryan Kenney with brand partner Who Has it?

Ahead of #GivingTuesday, the annual global generosity movement that unleashes the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world, SNAX-Sational Brands is thrilled to launch its annual #SnackGiving campaign to raise funds for the Ryan Seacrest Foundation (RSF), this year in the form of the ‘The Popcorn Challenge.’ Focused across social platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, The Popcorn Challenge officially launches today, November 15th, and is aiming to engage users and consumers for an interactive giving initiative. On #GivingTuesday, November 29th, Ryan Seacrest will release his very own video in support of The Popcorn Challenge, as Cookie Pop and Candy Pop continue to challenge followers across social media to engage in the promotion through December 15th, 2022 to raise funds and awareness for the Foundation.

The Challenge: From November 15th to December 15th, specifically, the brand is challenging participants to try and catch as much popcorn in their mouth as possible in 10 seconds. To win, the contestant must post a video attempting the challenge for a chance to win a free case of Candy Pop and Cookie Pop popcorn. The grand winner will receive $1,000 and be chosen at random, and 20 other recipients will win a year of popcorn delivery of their flavor choice from the extensive portfolio of popular brands, plus a Who Has It Holiday VIP Gift Box.  The brand will be picking these 20 lucky winners attempting the tasty task with bonus points to those challenging their friends to take on the feat, for the case delivery!  Even unsuccessful attempts will qualify! SNAX-Sational has also partnered with Who Has It? Unboxing company, as their official The Popcorn Challenge partner. Bobby Kennedy III will once again be producing the video content for this holiday initiative.

In 2019, Candy Pop and Cookie Pop unveiled its exciting relationship with the Ryan Seacrest Foundation (RSF), a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring today’s youth through entertainment and education focused initiatives. RSF’s primary initiative is to build Seacrest Studios, within pediatric hospitals for patients to explore the creative realms of radio, television and new media. Aimed to inspire today’s youth through entertainment and education focused initiatives, The Ryan Seacrest Foundation has built 11 state-of-the-art broadcast media centers, named Seacrest Studios, in children’s hospitals across the U.S., with three more slated to open within the next calendar year. Sports Illustrated Star-Studded Event f/ Candy Pop

On Saturday, February 12th, Candy Pop, Hollywood’s favorite popcorn treat, was in full swing at the Sports illustrated The Party. The event was powered by ABG entertainment and Talent Resources Sports in tandem with Resorts World Las Vegas. The gathering took place during the Big Game Weekend in LA for the Super Bowl. The event featured performances by Kygo, Joe Jonas, Jack Harlow, David Solomon and Irie.

New Film Feral State to Release Soon

Vertical Entertainment is set to release Jon Carlo’s feature directorial debut Feral State on May 28, 2021. Written and directed by Carlo (Mob Town, First We Take Brooklyn), Feral State stars AnnaLynne McCord, Octavio Pisano, Ronnie Gene Blevins, Jaden Piner, Baldur Thor and Sif Saga. Director Jon Carlo produced the film, along with producer B.D. Gunnell. Tucked far away from the white sandy beaches and amusement parks is a Florida that few outsiders ever see. Nestled alongside the gator infested swamps and rundown trailer parks lives a charismatic yet dangerous grifter named Mack Monroe (Blevins) who takes in orphans and runaways off the street. Actress AnnaLynne McCord is known for her badass roles, from 90210 to TNT’s Dallas,  dominating as a detective in Feral State, with some surprises up her sleeve. AnnaLynne brings complexity to the character and her unmatched charisma shows through. Breakout up & comer Baldur Thor also stars. He is a dual citizen of both Iceland and America, and fluent in both languages. He just recently finished filming IMoredicai where he is featured in the role of Steve

Vanessa Hudgens and Oliver Trevena host a Caliwater Escape in Joshua Tree At The Mojave Moon Ranch. The event was presented by Outdoorsy to launch their new cactus water beverage. The event was filled with VIPs and wellness activities.

The Caliwater Escape was hosted by brand co-founders, Vanessa Hudgens and Oliver Trevena. The event was held in Joshua Tree at the Mojave Moon Ranch (a gorgeous estate designed by Morgan Brown) to celebrate the official launch of their new cactus water beverage, Caliwater.

Guests at the weekend-long desert retreat experienced life under the stars while staying in airstreams, campers, and RVs from Outdoorsy

Timeless Vapes were also on hand in a customized RV, offering their clean and effective cannabis medicine vapes to the VIP attendees.

Talented attendees at the exclusive #CaliwaterEscape included actor Ross Butler (Caliwater Investor/Ambassador) along with his fellow “13 Reasons Why” co-stars Alisha Boe, Justin Prentice, Anne Winters, Brandon Flynn, and Brandon Larracuente. The festive weekend in the desert included DJ sets by Ruckus, Zen Freeman and GG Magree, presented by Resorts World Las Vegas. An incredible performance by Barns Courtney closed out the festivities. Guests danced the night away under the stars and hung poolside all day long. They enjoying delicious cocktails at the Resorts World bar such as the ‘JAJA Caliwater Escape’ from JAJA Tequila, ‘Socali Mojave Mojito’ by SoCal Rum, Calamity Gin and Nue Vodka, and ‘Cali Style’ Desert Mule by Dos Hombres Mezcal. Refreshing white, rose and sparkling rose wines were offered by Malibu Rocky Oaks Estate Vineyards. The weekend kicked off with a beautiful poolside picnic by The Gypsy Picnic, along with superfood bowls by VitaBowl.

Poolside, attendees changed into eco-friendly fashion-forward footwear styles from Cool Planet. Cool Planet is the new sustainable line by Steve Madden that was made with the earth in mind, and is perfect for the desert vibe.

Caliwater is also officially partnered with No Kid Hungry in their fight to end childhood hunger. Caliwater has pledged to donate $1million by April 2022. Every can sold makes a difference.

The weekend also featured a bevy of wellness and beauty activations such as massages by Artha, featuring transformative skin products and lotions from MIAGE Skincare, group yoga and Cryotherapy Facials also provided by Artha (wellness sanctuary), tarot reading/reiki, sound baths by Mystic Starseed, and more.

Each morning kicked off with coffee by Dragonfly Coffee Roasters, Mean Green juice by VitaJuice, Essentia. There was also a a breakfast burrito bar by Chef Shane Fatemian of Soho House, who catered the entire weekend with delicious food spreads for lunch and dinner. Friday night’s dinner included Shamen Raman’s organic ramen. Craig’s Vegan ice cream cart was also on hand to keep guests refreshed. At the end of the night, Stuffed Puffs provided late-night marshmallow roasting.

One night to particularly note was on Wednesday, April 9, 2020 when Lil Jon, Usher, and Ludacris joined Instagram Live to party, laugh, reminisce and promote their newest hit single: Sexbeat. Sexbeat, which dropped officially on April 9 at 12:00AM. It was previewed during the cyber rager with Lil Jon on the DJ turntables, drinks in hand, and people applauding the new hit virtually with the hip hop and R&B community coming together to support the artists through the comfort of their own homes. With well over 20,000 people tuned in, thousands of comments, likes and shoutouts were given to Lil Jon. Lil Jon mixed it up and played some of his hit classics, such as Lovers & Friends. Other artists such as Jermaine Dupri, Timbaland, Swizz Beatz, Jeezy and Wiz Khalifa tuned in as well, joining the virtual DJ set, and leaving humorous and/or supportive comments to their fellow artist friends.
