Bo + Tee

Bo + Tee Christmas Soiree

Oh Polly, the brand that has been sweeping the internet and part of every major influencer’s wardrobe, is now redefining the women’s athleisure space with their sister company Bo+Tee. The UK based brand debuted their latest collection at The Bonaventure Brewing Company on December 15th, 2021.

The infamous brewery located on the fourth floor of The Westin in DTLA was the perfect venue to host their first event. Immediately walking in, guests are greeted with a DJ playing hits from Drake to Megan the Stallion, and with a bar serving drinks from red wine to hot chocolate spiked with Baileys. Finger foods were served throughout the evening including chicken skewers, cheese burgers, and a stand with churros and cotton candy for those sweet lovers.

Christmas came early this year! Attendees picked a set of their choosing from the latest collection. The articles of clothing were displayed in the back of the venue for guests to admire, while walking away with free Bo+Tee. We continued to canvas the floor deck of the venue, eventually stumbling upon a screen printing booth giving out special tote bags.

To end the night, fragrance brand Sarah Horowitz Parfums set up a station to concoct your own custom perfume. The process started with questions asking about one’s favorite citrus and favorite foods. In only fifteen minutes, the team constructed the scent of your dreams based on your answers.

The Bo + Tee’s capsule collection consists of five different pieces. This includes different variations of contemporary colored crop tops and seamless leggings. The pieces from the latest drop range from $30-$40. The collection can be available for purchase on us.ohpolly.com

More on Bo+Tee:

Bo+Tee is the sister company of Oh Polly, selling activewear and fitness accessories globally. Bo+Tee was first launched in 2020 and since then has grown online at an impressive rate, with the official Instagram account boasting over 1 million followers. Bo+Tee is one of the few UK activewear brands which designs and produces its own garments. As a result, they combine both exceptional quality (which they carefully control) with unique trends and performance driven styles.

Guide to Help You Maintain Your New Year Resolutions

At the beginning of this year, you may have had clear New Year resolutions regarding your finances. It is very necessary for you to follow all of these resolutions so that you can achieve your goals easily. You can start learning how you can maximize all of your resources for your benefit.

It is the best time for you to plan everything, so you can achieve your dreams this year. It may be the right time for you to get a new job, lose weight, or become a millionaire this year. In this article, we are going to discuss some useful ways on how you can maintain and achieve your New Year resolutions.

Break Down Your Dreams

When you have any New Year resolutions, you may want to break down all of your dreams or your goals. You need to have a clear mindset that you are able to turn your goals into a reality. Your New Year resolutions must be clearly stated and expressed in full detail.

You have to know all steps and details that you need to have for achieving these goals. Some actionable steps can help you achieve any of these goals easily, without having to get overwhelmed. Here are some questions that can help you manage your steps for achieving all of your goals or dreams in the future.

  • What are several things that you need to do for accomplishing your goals?
  • What is your main schedule for achieving these objectives?
  • Who is going to help you or get involved in helping you achieve these goals?
  • Where are you lacking?
  • What are some mistakes that you did last year that should be corrected?

After answering all of those questions, you may see that your objectives can be achieved easily. It will apply to everything that you do–from saving money, learning some new skills, losing weight, etc.

Always Make Yourself Accountable

Accountability is important to have, especially if you want to be successful. When you ignore accountability, you may also ignore the possibility of future success. You should be aware of any progress that you are making for achieving your goals.

Accountability means that you are responsible for all of your actions and their consequences, whether they are negative or positive. You should never blame any other people for any result that you have in life. Instead, turn your goals into traceable objectives. You need to have a list of your all plans and their scheduled time. It will make you become more responsible in your dealings. Don’t forget to write down all failures and successes that you have every day for easy assessment.

Learn to Penalize and Incentivize

You need to learn how you can penalize or incentivize yourself. It will help you stay motivated, so you can achieve your goals. Some people might find penalizing themselves may be counterproductive. However, it will be a good way for you to motivate yourself to attain your dreams. You should never forget to incentivize yourself to achieve your small objectives.

Use Technology for Helping You Reach Your Goals

Technology can be a perfect way for you who want to achieve your New Year goals easily. You can utilize your gadgets to keep track of the steps taken to reach your goals. Ensure that these mobile devices don’t draw your attention from your goals, though.

Furthermore, there are some other interesting ways to achieve all of your New Year resolutions. When you need to get a loan for achieving all of your goals, you can consider taking the Robocash options. It will be a good solution for you who want to solve any of your emergency money issues. Robocash is ready to give you up to PHP 25,000 loan. More than 90% of their loan applications are approved immediately.

5 New Year’s Resolutions To Make Your Business Culture A Winner

New Year’s resolutions are not only for individuals but businesses too. Company goals leaders set for the year ahead are usually measured in data tied to categories like revenue production and expense reduction.

After a difficult 2020 due to COVID-19, many enterprises’ bottom-line numbers will take on extra importance in 2021. And business culture will be just as crucial. Any resolutions that company leaders make are an effective way to measure their work environment and help their teams meet performance metrics, says Mark McClain, CEO and co-founder of SailPoint and the ForbesBooks author of Joy and Success at Work: Building Organizations that Don’t Suck (the Life Out of People).

“Meeting individual, team, and company goals begin with employees and managers working well together in a vibrant environment,” McClain says. “And given the changes and challenges of these times, culture and how leaders pay attention to it have never been more important.

“The bottom line falls into place when everyone is on the same page. But even if leaders have established a strong culture, it bears constant vigilance to ensure everyone is rowing in the same direction, especially now when a volatile world can threaten to throw even the most solid companies off course.”

McClain offers these business culture resolutions for the New Year that leaders could consider:

  • Focus on shared values. McClain thinks it’s misleading to frequently state that a “family atmosphere” exists in a company. “The bigger a company gets or the more it grows in capability and value, the less it’s going to feel like a family,” he says. “Creative friction and disagreement on processes and concepts are inevitable. Smart companies leverage broader, shared values as common ground on which workers can connect. I’ve found one of the best places for doing that is through service to the community beyond company walls. If your culture encourages people to work together for some greater good, they’ll continue to appreciate each other as humans and fellow workers.”
  • Avoid prima donnas. ”Talented people are essential for a successful business,” McClain says, “but don’t fall in love with a gifted person if they are constantly letting you know how special they are. Watching them work can be breathtaking, but not when they’re the ones sucking the air out of the room.”
  • Double down on integrity. “Large legacy companies are often loaded with people who are just taking up space and collecting a paycheck,” McClain says. “It’s a significant issue, and it goes hand-in-hand with integrity. Effective workers know the difference between busywork and producing value. Everybody in the organization must be clear on what success looks like. The role of management is to be clear on objectives and then let people run.”
  • Don’t stop innovating. McClain says many companies stagnate in this area and should learn how to expand their innovations while encouraging the cultivation of new ideas. “Innovation is an amalgam of product marketing and product management skills, of listening to the market, and of engineering people who can take a problem and figure out how to solve it,” he says. “But innovation should apply in every direction – in how a company contracts, how they sell, how they market.”
  • Be the first to own mistakes. “Anyone who has been involved in conflict directly knows there’s always the sense that both parties have some responsibility,” McClain says. “The sooner you own yours, the more likely the other person will own theirs – and the project can move forward.”

“New Year’s resolutions are often easily discarded because of a person’s lack of commitment,” McClain says. “For business leaders and their workforce, they reflect company core values and can create or improve a culture that everyone will appreciate and aspire to uphold and deepen.”

New Year’s Wine Resolutions

By Pallavi Gupta

Did you line up your new year’s resolutions? If not, here is one for you. Many think that New Year’s resolutions are all about diets, kicking out a few bad habits, or even changing wardrobes. Whatever it is, you are planning to commit, ensure to follow your heart.

Honestly, I hardly make it to the third month with my resolutions. And this is no reason to beat me up. However, this year, I am sure I will commit till the last month with my new year’s wine resolutions. For a wine enthusiast, these are the New Year’s resolutions one would love to undertake. Only focussing on keeping fit, is not a bad thing, but do you know wine can help you stay healthy? Here’s I am going to share with you in this wine article. The main intention behind these is pleasureful drinking rather than depriving yourself of your next pop-up.

Don’t Go for Appearance

Here’s the first mistake that most wine lovers make. Good wine would not be all about appearance. Begin next year by approaching a bottle of wine soberly. Focus on its content, not the bottle. You should look beyond the aesthetically pleasing label and read the details on the wine. Check out for three aspects of wine that makes it unique. These are region, grape, and producer. With these, you can go ahead with building your preferences based on the event or your emotions. Some research will help you make your wine experience pleasant throughout the year.

Learn Wine Terminology

In wine tasting, the distressful thing is tasting wine without any idea of basic wine terminology. If you are not conversant with wine terms such as terroir, Bacchus, decant, Acidity, etc., you need to make an effort and find out what they mean. It’s tricky especially if you don’t know where to start. Unless you’ve tasted their soils, how else would you know what earthly, or damp forest floor mean? You can simplify by tasting more wine till you make sense of wine vocabulary, or better yet, conduct extensive research to see what they mean. Primarily, this will help you start picking up on various smells and flavors that make up different wines and wines styles. Gradually, you will find yourself using these fancy wine terms to describe your wine.

Become a Wine Experimenter

Make 2020 a wine experiment year. Whether it’s a variety you have never tried or an unfamiliar blend from your locality, you should have room for new wine. If you have the time and resources, travel the world or different region, and sample various wines that you are not familiar with. This year will be more thrilling than scaling a mountain gear-free with a bottle of Moscato, Sangaria, or any variety you haven’t yet tried. Being a wine explorer doesn’t mean that you should abandon your favorite wines, just create more space for a new wine.

Try new wine recipes.

Another way to make this year an exciting one is by finding a recipe with wine as an ingredient and give it a try. You can also have some wine while baking or cooking. Anything can work provided it gives you a new angle of wine experience. You can even seek wine recipes on our blog.

Try some Wine-Food Pairings

Not satisfied yet? Wait, there is more. You can try pairing wine with your favorite foods and see how it pans out. The pairing will expound your wine taste in terms of acidity, tannin, alcohol content and overall how food pairing works. Perfect food wine pairing is achieved by flavors that complement each other. For the ideal match, plan dishes according to wine and not the other way round. This maintains the wine’s purpose on the table, and that is to complement the food.

Try Out Different Wine Glasses

This year, if you’ve not been caring about your wine glass, it’s time you do. You may not know, but the shape of your wineglass affects the overall wine tasting experience. Pairing wine with the right wine glass maintains its original taste. The right wine vessel means the size, shape, and opening. If you got all these right, it would maximize the flavor of the wine. So, start researching the most appropriate wine glasses.

Treat Yourself with Expensive Wine

It’s good that you become extravagant once in a while with your wine. If you’ve been a tightwad while spending a certain amount on a bottle, spoil yourself with some expensive stuff that doubles your usual amount. Who said it isn’t meant for you? Don’t put yourself down and start enjoying the best things life has to offer, including expensive wine. I am sure you will cherish enhancing your wine experience while you elevate your wine status to the next level.

Hold Wine-Tasting Parties

If you love good company when drinking your wine, this year, make it better by organizing and holding a wine tasting party. Invite your close friends and colleagues to your home, do some wine sampling fun. Another way to do this is to ask each one of them to bring different bottles of wine from various regions at different prices as well. You can then taste them all to get an explosion of wine moods and flavors. Make an impression of being the first to introduce them to their new favorite vino.

Be Part of a Wine Club Subscription Service

Any wine lover wants to enjoy their favorite bottle at their convenience anytime and anywhere. Luckily, several wine subscription services offer excellent wine delivery services. This is the best way of having award-winning wines delivered at your door. Sweet Wine Club offers the best wine subscription services with each shipment chosen out of quality wines of San Antonio Winery. You also get to taste different varieties and wine styles like nowhere else.

Chill and Toast more

The best way to enjoy your wine is to hold your wine glass up high to toss for a celebration that life has brought you. Wine tastes better with company, so ensure you have your loved ones and friends as you pour out a bottle of wine. This also ensures an excellent opportunity to relieve stress. Whether it’s just a happy hour, game night, or matching food and wine, make time for people you love, and you will enjoy a swell time as you gulp down your wine.

Final Remarks
