Martin Jensen x 16 Steps

The official video for breakout Danish artist Martin Jensen’s new single 16 Steps with Olivia Holt (Astralwerks) can be viewed HERE. Shot in Southern California, the clip finds Holt’s character traversing desert roads in a vintage Mercedes, as she questions her place in her lover’s life. A lawman, played by Jensen, pursues her through the desolate landscape territory that provides a stark contrast to scenes of the summer revelries and romances unfolding simultaneously at the beach. You may remember the young musician from his breakout hit Solo Dance, This hook-ridden follow-up has a lot more urban edge thanks to a snappy beat and trap-influence, but this sugary melody and lovelorn message is pure summer pop, said Billboard.com, which premiered the 16 Steps video yesterday. The clip was directed by Michael Sauer Christensen, who helmed the clip for Jensen’s 2017 hit single Wait ft. Loote.EDM.com said, The keyboard hook and enchanting vocals pull you into the fight between body and brain when dealing with the heart. 16 Steps was written by After Hrs (Maroon 5, One Direction), Ali Tamposi (Kygo, Justin Bieber, Camilla Cabello), John Ryan (Harry Styles, Jason Derulo) and Liza Owen (Hailee Steinfeld, Astrid S). Download / stream 16 Steps HERE.Jensen’s previous five singles have racked up a combined 850 million streams on Spotify alone. DAYA Reveals Music Video for “Safe”

Today, nineteen-year-old multi-platinum singer/songwriter DAYA unveiled the music video for her powerful song “Safe” – watch HERE. In tandem with the music video release, she also launched the #safeis campaign this week, encouraging fans to express what their version of “safe” is with a video, gif, or message on social media using the campaign’s hashtag.

“I want my song ‘Safe’ to be an invitation to start a positive dialogue in a world in need of compassion,” Daya says of the campaign in its official launch video.

Daya and co-writers Laleh and Joel Little (who both produced the track) penned the song the day after the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting in Las Vegas last fall, channeling their sense of grief and processing into a track and music video that harkens back to a nostalgic time when the world seemed more innocent.

“Safe” – available everywhere now at: Retail Link via Interscope Records – is Daya’s first new song since the release of “New” in October 2017. Her vocals were most recently featured on R.L. Grime’s single “I Wanna Know.”  Next up, Daya can be seen live with a special performance at the Special Olympics 50th Anniversary Celebration in Chicago on July 21, and stops at Lollapalooza on August 4 and the Billboard Hot 100 Festival on August 20.

Grand Opening of Luxury Retreat in New Hampshire!

New Hampshire’s Lakes Region

Welcomes New Luxury Retreat

Pickering House Inn in Wolfeboro Prepares

For August 2018 Grand Opening

Overlooking the picture-postcard village of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, on the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee is the Pickering House Inn, which, upon its Aug. 1 grand opening, will be the first luxury inn of its kind in the state’s Lakes Region.  The 10-room retreat will be a New England hot spot for discerning travelers seeking exceptional accommodations and services within two hours from Boston.

The historic building, built in 1813 and for many decades the residence of prominent businessman Daniel Pickering, was close to being torn down when in 2016 Wolfeboro residents Peter and Patty Cooke purchased the property.  The couple – along with a team of local companies and avid supporters – brought the stunning Greek Revival structure back to life.  The new Pickering House will provide up to 20 guests with whimsical, laid-back luxury and an ambiance that lends the feel of a being in a friend’s lavish country home.

Interior designs in the guest rooms and common areas, which include the Gathering Kitchen and The Barn, blend rustic chic with modern elegance.  Patty oversaw every detail of the interior design process, fashioning each space with a different look and feel.  A sample of her keen sense of design is found in the “Wall of Doors,” an à la Alice in Wonderland look that came about when she noticed dozens of old doors being thrown out.  The doors, cut perfectly like a puzzle, now accompany the stairs leading up to guest rooms.

In the Gathering Kitchen guests will enjoy sumptuous homemade breakfasts, afternoon treats and evening nibbles with cocktails and wine.  For early risers, each floor will have a nook where freshly baked goods are available before breakfast. The Barn will host Saturday evening Innkeeper dinners showcasing the Inn’s chef as well as visiting chefs from New England and beyond.  Demonstration cooking classes held in the Gathering Kitchen will also be an activity for “at home chefs” in the making.

The Pickering House is a three-minute walk to downtown Wolfeboro, which is dotted with artisan shops, galleries and seasonal eateries.  Guests may also enjoy Lake Winnipesaukee’s many aquatic activities, including stand up paddle boarding, boat rentals, swimming and canoeing, and excursions to other lakeside towns via a boat ride on the M/V Sophie C., the official – and oldest – floating post-office for the lake’s island residents. Additional activities include nearby hiking, skiing, antiquing, tastings at local spirit companies, and the popular Great Waters Music Festival.

For additional information on the Pickering House Inn, please visit www.pickeringhousewolfeboro.com or call 603-569-6848.

Don’t mess with them.” – Paste MagazineRebecca & Megan Lovell of Larkin Poe are singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist sisters creating their own brand of Roots Rock ‘n’ Roll: gritty, soulful, and flavored by their southern heritage.  Named for one of their familial ancestors who was also a distant cousin of Edgar Allan Poe, Larkin Poe’s music mines a reverent blend of blues and Americana with the patina of a Southern Gothic sensibility, punctuated by the sisters’ seamless harmonies and gritty interplay between electric and slide guitars.WES PERIOD2:10 – 2:50pm“West Coast rap exists in Kendrick Lamar‘s celestial shadow, but that doesn’t mean Los Angeles isn’t speckled with intriguing young voices putting their own twists on the genre. One of those voices is Wes Period.” – NYLONThis native Californian rapper/songwriter/producer began making music in 2010. Flecked with a bright, celebratory and hazy lyrical flow, Wes’ music is upbeat, sunny and singularly Californian. His music fell into the hands of hit songwriter, Justin Tranter (Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, DNCE), who quickly signed Wes to his label, Facet Records, where he released the track “Trap Star,” and the mixtape Pretty Words.FLETCHER | 3:20 – 4:00pm“One of the most exciting female artists to emerge in the pop…Even in the face of growing fame FLETCHER has remained unquestionably authentic – and she’s only just getting started.” – Paper MagazineOriginally hailing from Asbury Park, the rock capital of New Jersey, striking singer-songwriter Fletcher made a tremendous splash when her rousing pop track “War Paint” was essentially declared the anthem of the summer 2015 via the Spotify Viral 50 Chart. The single became the #1 most socially shared track on Spotify in the U.S. for two consecutive weeks, and #3 across the world, earning nearly 5 million streams. After that auspicious opening statement, Fletcher unleashed the Finding Fletcher EP, which added “Wasted Youth” to her arsenal of provocative pop, racking up 2.9 million views on YouTube.
GASHI | 4:30 – 5:10pm“It’s difficult to not to be captivated by his songwriting and his distinctively strong personality as it’s carefully woven into his music.” – The SourceBorn in Africa, bred in Brooklyn by parents of Albanian descent, Gashi seamlessly sings, raps, blends and melds musical elements into a singular style that has made him an artist to watch. His single “Disrespectful” has accrued 4.6M views on YouTube, and his single “No No No” has been streamed over 6 million times, landing on Spotify’s New Music Friday billboard in the middle of Times Square. SUPA BWE | 5:40 – 6:20pm“Supa Bwe has already challenged the current state of rap as he transcends genres with his eclectic production and blend of melodies and rhymes.” – HipHopDXChicago rapper/producer Supa Bwe (real name Frederick S. Burton) dropped his full-length solo debut, Finally Dead, last December, and the bold release proved to be an audacious opening statement, premiering at number 3 on iTunes and earning critical shout-outs from XXL, Hype Beast and others. As equally influenced by classic hip-hop from his father and the punk, metal and alternative rock championed by his British mother, Supa Bwe’s music is an assertive blend of inventive rhymes, in-your-face attitude and striking vocal melodies that meld his influences into a single, distinctive style that sets him well apart from his contemporaries.MADISON BEER | 6:50 – 7:30pm“Don’t be fooled by her age: 19-year-old Madison Beer is a force to be reckoned with and an old soul.” – BillboardMadison Beer is a Long Island native who started posting her covers of pop and R&B songs online at the age of 12. Since then, Beer has racked up YouTube views past 83 million, she’s amassed 10.7 million Instagram subscribers and 2.6 million Twitter followers.
