The music video shot in Medellín and directed by Stillz, the influential Colombian-American creative director and photographer known for shaping the visual language of global artists perfectly complements the spirit of “1+1.” Built around the creation of a traditional bandeja paisa, the video embraces a fast, analogue energy filled with expressive gestures, textures, and rhythmic movement that mirror the song’s pulse.

From Kany García leaving a rural finca during golden hour to a near-folkloric farewell ritual led by Maluma, the visual narrative becomes a love letter to Colombian culture. The journey unfolds through everyday scenes and natural ingredients, farm life, transporting produce, the local market, the butcher shop culminating in Maluma’s kitchen, where the iconic dish is prepared with humour, pride, and passion.

The closing moment shows Kany enjoying a classic paisa breakfast while Maluma and his team prepare a traditional lunchbox symbolising the final equation: food made with love, shared with intention.

In celebration of Art Basel’s first ever edition in the Middle East, this February The Ned Doha will unveil Old to New,  a thoughtfully curated exhibition that explores the transformation of time, culture and creative practice. As the global art world turns its gaze to Doha, The Ned Doha, housed within one of the country’s most architecturally and historically significant buildings, takes its place at the heart of this landmark moment, welcoming visitors to experience the intersection of international and local creativity and the city’s vibrant cultural scene.

Curated by Moza Al Kurai and Fatima Mohammed, and presented in collaboration with Sana Art, Old to New brings together a selection of Qatar’s most talented artists whose practices bridge heritage and innovation. Including works by Sara Al Naimi, Noora Al Hardan and Mubarak Al Thani, across painting, textiles, sculpture and digital media, the exhibition traces a dialogue between past and present, honouring cultural memory while embracing the evolving language of today’s art. 

Set against the richly layered interiors of The Ned Doha, the exhibition becomes an immersive experience as the building’s own transformation mimics the works on display: a historic civic space reborn as a hub of contemporary gathering and creativity. Visitors can move through rooms where woven and block-printed textiles, recycled materials and mixed-media urban forms sit side by side offering a perspective on renewal and reinvention.

Highlights from the exhibition include Sara Al Naimi’s tactile textile tapestry ‘Between Forms Flow,’ where traditional craft techniques are reinterpreted through a contemporary lens; whilst Hind Al Saad’s ‘Earth Machine’ merges copper and printed circuit boards to reflect the intersection of cultural systems.

The Ned Doha quotes “The timing of Art Basel Qatar, Old to New enforces The Ned Doha’s position as more than just a hospitality destination but a cultural platform where art, design and conversation converge. The property’s very own ambitious art collection of 350 pieces, is largely made up of works by female artists and is curated to reflect themes of identity, heritage, ecology and cultural transformation.”

The collection brings a living gallery to the property which underscores their commitment to championing the region’s emerging creative scene. During Art Basel the space will welcome guests, collectors and creatives in the industry into an inspiring setting that encourages connection and discovery.

Since opening, The Ned Doha has emerged as Qatar’s most dynamic lifestyle property, offering a refined blend of hospitality, art, design and culture. Home to seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms and suites. And Ned’s Club – a member’s only space spread across multiple floors, the property has rapidly established itself as the capital’s social hub. Set against the backdrop of Qatar’s growing global prominence, hosting events from the FIFA World Cup and Formula 1 Grand Prix to the Design Biennale and now Art Basel – the property sits at the centre of a region in creative ascent.

After decades of anticipation, Light-Years is a 30-year working legacy reborn, further cementing their status as one the greatest rapper-producer duos of all time. Nas and DJ Premier’s partnership is embedded in the DNA of Hip-Hop. Their origin story began in 1994 with Illmatic, which resulted in hits such as “N.Y. State Of Mind,” “Memory Lane” and “Represent.” Illmatic helped establish Nas as a generational talent and furthered Premier’s then burgeoning legacy. Doechii closes this iconic chapter and prepares to work on her album but first takes a necessary exhale on “girl, get up.” With SZA. Doechii wrote the new track with SZA, Jahlil Gunter and Darius Scott. Produced by Jay Versace (Tyler, the Creator, SZA), the song also features a sample of “What Happened To That Boy” by Baby ft. Clipse, which was written by Charles Hugo, Gene Thornton, Terrence Thornton, Bryan Williams andPharrell Williams. “girl, get up.” is the final song from Doechii’s “Swamp Sessions” series, which paired eye-catching visuals with equally compelling bars and included such tracks as “NISSAN ALTIMA,” “BULLFROG” and “CATFISH.” The concept behind the sessions was to set a timer for an hour and write a song. Each conveyed a single sonic idea and, taken together, revealed a kaleidoscopic artist.

Doechii’s tour de force single “Anxiety” received GRAMMY® nominations in five categories: Record of the Year; Song of the Year; Best Rap Performance; Best Rap Song and Best Music Video. In February 2025, she won her first GRAMMY Award for Best Rap Album for Alligator Bites Never Heal. Rimac has revealed details of the Nevera R Founder’s Edition — a strictly limited run of just ten, each one entirely bespoke. But the car is only the beginning. The Founder’s Edition unlocks a rare, insider journey into the world of Rimac; a realm of access, influence, and experiences reserved for just ten individuals globally. Announced privately to clients earlier this year, every example was allocated to an owner within a week. 

The Founder’s Edition experience begins with a deeply personal configuration session at the Rimac Campus in Zagreb, where customers sit down with Mate Rimac himself, alongside Design Director Frank Heyl and his design team. It’s an experience world apart from the typical luxury car buying process, with the team using sophisticated V-RED visualization software to adjust colors, materials, and finishes in real-time.

For the duration of their ownership, the ten Founder’s Club members will have priority invitations to product previews, a company card allowing direct access to Bugatti Rimac HQ, invitations to performance showcases and record-breaking runs, involvement in strategy discussions with Mate and the team, and input into the research and development that will create the groundbreaking cars of the future. This small global group of individuals also receive other exclusive benefits and invitations as a part of their membership, with exact details known only to the Founders. 

Each Founder’s Edition car features a striking baseline specification centered on a two-tone design with a dramatic color split running the length of the car. “Instead of creating some shouty livery, we use the natural geometry ofthe car as the color division to emphasize what we’re trying to achieve here,” says Lead Exterior Designer Clark Yutong Wu. The split visually lowers the car, giving it an aggressive, forward-tilting stance that also creates a timeless, immediately recognisable visual identity. 

Running along the roof is an ultra-thin central stripe that defies convention – its thinnest part measuring just two millimeters – incorporating Rimac’s signature cravat motif and subtle circuit board graphics. Inside, door panels feature bespoke embroidery marking three crucial dates in Rimac’s history: the garage era, the launch of Concept_One, and the record-breaking period with Nevera and the Campus. An asymmetrical seat layout pays homage to Mate’s own Nevera configuration.

Customers can explore the full breadth of their creativity with bespoke handstitched interiors, hand-painted adornments, or expertly crafted paint liveries – the team has already sourced specific purple leather throughout one cabin and meticulously replicated an indigo blue from another vehicle in a customer’s collection. Each car in the run of ten Founder’s Edition models bears the unique hallmarks of the customer and their story.

Specialist driver training will be provided to each owner by Rimac’s professional testing team, who have covered tens of thousands of miles in the Nevera and Nevera R. After the many months required to handassemble each car and hand-apply the bespoke touches, Mate Rimac will personally deliver each of the ten examples and support the driver training.

The Nevera R, an evolution of the pioneering Nevera, was designed to shift the electric hypercar’s character from Hyper GT to Hyper Sportscar. Recently awarded a Red Dot Award for Product Design, it delivers 2,107 hp through four individual motors controlled by Rimac’s advanced torque vectoring system, achieving a record 0–60 mph time of 1.66 seconds and topping out at 431.45 km/h (268.2 mph). In 2025 alone, it set 24 verified performance world records.
