How to Become a New CBD Oil Distributor in the UK

Ever taken a look at the burgeoning CBD market in the UK and wanted to see if it was possible to become a distributor? It’s now possible to sell the best CBD oils in the UK.

CBD oils in the UK have blossomed in the last decade, with more and more people making and selling them. But how difficult is it to get started in the industry? How does someone become a new distributor?

First Steps to Becoming a CBD Oil Distributor: Legality

The first–and frankly the most important–thing a new CBD oil distributor needs to know is the local laws regarding the sale and possession of CBD oil. While most people are familiar with the legally permissible quantity of THC in CBD oil products, those planning to become a distributor need to know a whole lot more.

For instance, CBD oil distributors are likely going to want to advertise their services somehow, mostly through internet ads. Unlike many other industries, the sale of CBD oil is heavily restricted when it comes to advertisements.

Prospective distributors can’t ever claim specific medical benefits surrounding CBD oil, nor can they hope to get away with making statements that cannot be substantiated with scholarly evidence.

In advertising and selling, CBD products are held to a much stricter standard than most products. Ensure that you have a complete understanding of the laws surrounding advertisements and storage of CBD products.

Building a Brand: How to Become Recognized & Known in the CBD Community

While CBD oil products used to be a pretty rare sight in the UK, there are now more brands than one could have imagined.

This is great for the consumer but is actually a big issue for new distributors, as it means that there is a tremendous amount of competition. Not only is there plenty of competition, but many of the most successful brands have existed for years now. This means that they are recognized and expected to be of consistently high quality.

As a new CBD oil distributor, the way to overcome this is with diverse, innovative packaging and strong brand awareness.

This is the kind of thing that requires a considerable amount of research and effort to get right. Any new entrant into this industry requires super strong branding and in-depth knowledge of social media.

Consider launching a variety of social media platforms, as well as hiring someone to manage them for the company.

It can be especially difficult to run a distribution company while also managing a social media presence, so hiring someone to take care of that for the company could be a big help.

Furthermore, try and build up the brand’s image any way possible; if customers don’t recognize the brand, then they won’t be likely to buy from it, no matter what it is selling.

Perhaps the Most Important: Only Sell Great Products

The most crucial part of becoming a new CBD oil distributor, and indeed starting any business in any industry, is to sell only high-quality products.

There are all sorts of lower quality, cheaper alternatives out there for CBD products, but they won’t help you build an exciting and successful brand.

After all, studies have shown that stronger and better quality CBD oil products tend to offer a much better effect. This is well-known to consumers, and so people won’t be inclined to come back to a CBD oil brand if they don’t feel like they can trust what’s being sold.

There is a lot to learn and understand about building a brand, the legal issues of cannabinoids, and the logistics of CBD in the UK. However, it all comes secondary to the quality of the products being offered.

If a new CBD oil distribution brand doesn’t offer great stuff, then people won’t be inclined to try it, nor will they come back after giving it a chance.

It can be really difficult. In fact, it seems almost impossible, but becoming a CBD oil distributor in the UK is certainly possible if the brand focuses on selling only the best stuff they can find.

How To Travel Safely With Your Cat in 2021

It does not matter whether you will visit your family a hundred miles away or are determined to introduce your kitty to its predecessors – exotic cats – during safari abroad; traveling with cats is always a challenge. Unlike dogs, which have a tender attachment to the owner, cats are not that enthusiastic about this kind of entertainment, as they are mainly attached to the house.

Thus, the longer your trip is going to be, the more thoroughly you should organize it. It will surely take a lot of effort and patience to prepare your cat for travel, but the right approach will allow you to avoid stress on both sides. Below, you will find all the essential tips to keep your pet safe and sound during your wanderings together.

Choose the Right Transportation Option

You might have decided on, for example, taking over a car lease and enjoying the possibility to drive on your own, but if you do not have a vehicle, you will have to use other means of transportation, such as trains, planes, or steamboats. Ensure that you choose the safest and the most suitable way to take your cat on a trip with you, but remember that the possibility of carrying a pet on a plane or train depends on the policy of the carrier company.

If you plan air travel with a cat, make sure to choose an airline considering its rules regarding animals’ transportation. Some airlines may allow your pet to travel in the cabin as your carry-on baggage, while other airlines require you to send it to the cargo hold. The latter option is undeniably more dangerous, so here are some tips to make sure your pet will be flying safely in the cargo hold:

  • Choose a large, comfortable, well-ventilated, and airline-approved cat carrier.
  • Place a label that contains your contact information and information about your travel destination – your name, address, and phone number.
  • Feed your pet no later than 4 hours before the flight.
  • Keep your cat calm before flying by talking reassuringly to it and maintaining non-verbal communication.

Get Your Cat To Get Used To a Car

If your primary vehicle for the trip is a car, make sure to give your pet enough time to get used to it. You can (and should) start this process a few weeks before setting off. The main purpose is to put your cat in the carrier in a car for a while – cats feel calmer where they feel their smell. It will ease your time on the road later.

Ensure that you carry out the process consistently by following those steps:

  1. 1-2 times a day, choose the time before eating and take your kitty and the carrier to the car.
  2. Ensure that you talk to your pet quietly and calmly.
  3. When you get in the car, close all the doors and wait for a little – the cat should calm down.
  4. Let your cat out of the carrier to explore the space in peace.
  5. After that, take your pet back to the house, and feed it.

As soon as it gets comfortable in the car, take it for a ride – even a very short distance will be enough for the first time. Each time, gradually increase the duration – from 5 to 10, 20, 30 minutes. This will allow your kitty to perceive the interior of the car as its own territory soon enough.

For safety reasons, it is recommended to keep the pet in the carrier while driving the car. Thus, your cat will not interfere with you or the driver, excluding the possibility of an accident.

Traveling Preparations Advice

A key to a comfortable and safe journey is thoughtful preparation. Here is a list of necessary things to travel with pets alongside some other things that may come in handy:

  • Identifier sewed to your cat’s collar, with your contact information in case it gets lost,
  • Harness (not a collar) to safely remove your kitty from the carrier,
  • Leash to safely let your cat out on stops,
  • Cat food and your cat’s favorite treats,
  • Extra blankets in case it gets cold,
  • Your pet’s favorite toys,
  • Cat toilet.

Choose the Right Cat Carrier

The suitable pet carrier or a crate should be spacious enough to allow the cat to fit at full height, lie down, get up, and turn over comfortably. Also, it is crucial to make sure that the carrier or crate is installed securely on the seat and does not move when the car is driven.

Modern carriers have special openings for attaching the seat belt or have their own straps to hold steady. Usually, there is a soft, small mattress inside, and the bottom of the box is covered with a non-slip fabric.

Get a Temporary Litter Box

During long-distance trips, disposable cat toilets are the most convenient option. They are small boxes with an absorbent, disposable litter that you can purchase additionally. You can install this toilet on the floor inside of the car – as it is filled, it is easy to replace the disposable part with a new one.

Prepare Documents

Regardless of whether a health certificate is required or not, it will not be superfluous to take your cat to the veterinarian a few days before setting off and check whether the vaccinations are up to date. The set of needed documents will vary depending on your destination country, but each pet, like a person, must travel with its own passport.

Consider Medication

It all depends on the pet, but if you know in advance that your kitty reacts nervously to a change in the environment, consider consulting with your cat’s veterinarian about what kind of remedy to take. Do not ever give your pet tranquilizers or other sedatives without a vet’s prescription.

Conclusion

Traveling with pets requires many preparations in advance, mainly because it is crucial for them to get used to changing environments to keep calm during the trip. Make sure to allocate enough time for your cat to get comfortable in its new carrier as well as the car if you travel by it. If you want to bring along your cat on a flight, try to find an airline that allows animals in the cabin.

Remember to have patience and always communicate gently with your cat – it will allow you to facilitate the adaptation process and reassure your pet that there is nothing to stress about.

LOS ANGELES RAPPER DOM KENNEDY
ANNOUNCES HIGHLY ANTICIPATED FORTHCOMING

STUDIO ALBUM “FROM THE WESTSIDE WITH LOVE III”

One of Los Angeles most sought out rappers, Dom Kennedy announces his release of From the Westside With Love III which follows the success off of his first and second release of From the Westside With Love.

“From the Westside With Love” originally dropped as a mixtape in March 2010 and later in June 2011 came “From the Westside with Love II” which is the debut studio album for Dom Kennedy. The album features artists from Asher Roth, Mikey Rocks, Polyester, Big K.R.I.T., Casey Veggies, and Schoolboy Q. The album charted #19 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and #15 Billboard’s Independent Albums.

Dom Kennedy has taken over the rap game by storm by working with acts such as Kehlani, Big Sean, Hit-Boy, Nipsey Hussle, and more. With a forthcoming album set to release this Spring, Dom Kennedy is set to dominate 2021.

“When I decided to release the first From the Westside with Love in March 2010, I wanted to prove to myself that I could make a body of work that would reach way beyond just my neighborhood in Los Angeles,” says Dom Kennedy. “It was a gut check for me to show my love for the genre of rap and what I could possibly bring to it. A year later we dropped “From the Westside with Love II” which many believe to be one of my best efforts. At this point in my career, I’m still in love with making great rap music. I decided to cement my true legacy with another gift, From the Westside with Love III.

About Dom Kennedy:

Born in Los Angeles, CA, Dom Kennedy is an artist with a fiercely independent streak. With a style that pairs simple lyricism with a knack for narration, Kennedy took inspiration from rap legends such as DJ Quick, Tupac, and the Notorious B.I.G. Kennedy made his debut in 2008 with “25th Hour”, “From the Westside With Love” in 2010, and “The Original Dom Kennedy” in 2011. By this point, he had begun touring across the U.S. and internationally, playing a show in Djibouti, Africa. Not being able to find a fair deal to suit him, the talented MC instead started his own label, The OPM Company (Other People’s Money), which he has used to release his own albums as well as for others. “From the Westside With Love II” arrived in 2011 and was a success, hitting the top 100 of the Billboard 200 Album Chart. Kennedy shortly after released “The Yellow Album” with the lead single “My Type Of party”, this mixtape is regarded as an all-time favorite worldwide. From Kennedy himself, “my music has always been about evolution, results may vary but I have tried to remain responsible to what I was feeling at the time. I wouldn’t have lasted any amount of time without the fans, so I thank them. OPM till it’s over.”

Rideshare Driver Killed in Chicago Amid Carjacking Crisis Targeting Uber and Lyft Drivers

Drivers Guild Demands Action from Uber, Lyft, City of Chicago

7pm Tonight: The Independent Drivers Guild will take part in Prayer Vigil Tonight Honoring Javier Ramos – Details Below

The Independent Drivers Guild (IDG) is mourning the loss of rideshare driver Javier Ramos who was killed in a carjacking early Tuesday morning in Chicago. Ramos is survived by his 9-year-old daughter and a close-knit circle of family and friends. His death comes amid a carjacking crisis in the city in which rideshare drivers have been targeted repeatedly.

Ramos was killed exactly one week after the IDG held a vigil for other rideshare drivers who were attacked in car jackings earlier this month, one of whom was left paralyzed from the waist down and one who was kidnapped, robbed, and sexually assaulted by her passenger. The vigil was followed by a vehicle procession to Uber and Lyft’s Chicago offices where the Guild posted its safety demands in letters to the companies’ CEOs.

“Javier Ramos was found lying in the street by police and transported to a hospital as a John Doe. Unable to communicate and robbed of his belongings, he passed. He tried to fight off his attackers. They shot him in his face and head. He was then removed from his car, and the violent criminals proceeded to run him over with it,” said IDG organizer and longtime Chicago rideshare driver Lenny Sanchez.

“Javier Ramos was a father, a brother, and a beloved member of our community. And he did not have to die. Say his name, Dara Khosrowshahi. Say his name, Logan Green. Blood is on your hands and it’s not the last of it. Comply with our driver safety demands now,” demanded Sanchez.

In January, the IDG launched a driver safety campaign, demanding action from Uber and Lyft, and the City of Chicago to protect rideshare drivers. The Guild has called for a City Council hearing on the crisis. Drivers and members of the community who wish to learn more and show their support are urged to go to IDGactnow.org where you can sign a petition to the City Council and sign up for updates on upcoming actions and events.

“If Uber and Lyft won’t protect Chicago’s hardworking drivers, the city needs to act to compel them to. Chicago cannot allow these apps to be used by criminals to hunt down their next victims,” said Brendan Sexton, executive director of the Independent Drivers Guild. “While Uber and Lyft have made rider safety a priority with constant improvements, driver safety has been virtually ignored and this is the result. Rideshare drivers must be licensed, and background checked before they can begin serving our community, but Uber and Lyft do not even require passengers to verify their identity. End the disparity and protect drivers now.”

Earlier this month, the Guild launched a fund to support Chicago rideshare drivers and their families affected by car jackings and assaults.

The Independent Drivers Guild is the largest rideshare driver organization in the nation, organizing for drivers’ rights, fair pay and better working conditions. Together, we’ve won landmark victories that put billions of dollars in drivers’ pockets. The Independent Drivers Guild is a non-profit affiliate of the Machinists Union that advocates for more than 250,000 drivers in NY, IL, NJ, CT and across New England. We are driver-led and driver-powered.

Javier Ramos Vigil Information

Friends and family of Javier Ramos will gather for a prayer vigil in his honor Friday, March 26, 2021, at 7 pm in North Park, 10040 Addison Avenue, Franklin Park, Illinois. Invited guests include Congressman Jesus “Chuy” García, Senators Don Harmon, Karina Villa and Ram Villivalam; Representatives Maura Hirschsuer and Kathy Willis; Franklin Park Mayor, Barrett Pedersen; Director of Police, Michael Witz; and Independent Drivers Guild advocate, Lenny Sanchez.

The vigil will honor the life of Javier Ramos who was killed by his passenger during an attempted carjacking earlier this week. Those who knew “Javi” knew that he lived for the joy of his life, his 9-year-old daughter.

Javier’s death comes as Chicago is seeing an exorbitant increase in city-wide car jackings, some of which have culminated in the deaths of the victims. It is well past the time to address the issue of senseless gun violence. Javi’s death should not be in vain.

Cousin and spokesperson for the family, Ms. Illinois International 2021, Hortencia Ramos said “This could have been anyone’s brother, anyone’s son, anyone’s father, anyone’s cousin,” The vigil is open to all who want to share their love and support of Javier and his family. Attendees are encouraged to wear orange in support of a future without gun violence.

ELHAE × MASEGO – MY CITY

R&B COOL KIDS ELHAE & MASEGO ARE THE ULTIMATE GENTLEMEN ON NEW GROOVE SINGLE AND VISUAL, “MY CITY.”

Listen to “My City” (feat. Masego) HERE.

Watch the new visual for “My City” HERE.

Known for his melodic sound and hypnotizing harmonies, Georgia-raised singer/songwriter Elhae channels his love for women, cars, and the always present pursuit of prosperity on his latest single “My City” featuring Masego. The C-Gutta produced record showcases both Elhae & Masego in rare form as they take turns showcasing their signature sounds, reminding listeners and critics alike that not only are they hometown heroes, but that they’re also next in line to rule the R&B throne. Listen HERE.

“I called Masego on FaceTime one day asking if he wanted to be a part of this next project. We’ve always talked about working but never got a chance to really make it happen due to scheduling and what not.” Elhae says. “Fortunately, and unfortunately due to COVID, time was all we had. Masego had the beat and the hook done already so it was up to me to provide the rest. I reached out to my good friend Ari to help as well and it was done. I’m really happy with how this song came out and I hope people enjoy it.”

My City (feat. Masego)” comes on the heels of Elhae’s critically acclaimed “Separated” and the Rick Ross assisted record “Fun Fact.” Praised by XXL as being “the next R&B sensation that’s about to make a huge wave in the industry,” Elhae is currently in the studio putting the final touches on his highly anticipated Motown debut which is slated to be released later this year.

About Elhae

North Dakota-born and Georgia-raised singer, artist, and visionary Elhae approaches R&B like a film director would, choosing every element carefully, ensuring an intricate level of cohesion, and building his own world. Since catching fire in 2015 on the independent Aura EP, he worked towards eventually architecting such a world. The follow-up All Have Fallen yielded fan favorites such as “Doesn’t Matter” [feat Kehlani] and “Needs,” which clocked 19 million-plus Spotify streams. In between, he garnered glowing praise from the likes of The Fader, Billboard, Vibe, The Source, and more as Sprite named him among its P.O.U.R. (Purveyors of Urban Reality) program. The 2017 sequel to Aura, the Aura II EP, boasted “Drama,” “Something,” and the popular “Bang Your Line” [feat. Ty Dolla $ign]. The latter ignited 24 million Spotify streams and counting. Meanwhile, he lent his voice to high-profile collaborations with Lecrae, Eric Bellinger, and many others in addition to supporting blackbear on tour.

2018 saw him grace the stage of Coachella for the first time in front of 40,000 fans as he diligently worked on new tunes in Los Angeles, Miami, and Atlanta. Inspired by childhood favorite albums such as Kid Cudi’s Man on the Moon: The End of Day, Childish Gambino’s Because the Internet, and Kendrick Lamar’s Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City, he developed an airtight vision with a detailed plotline for his next release. In 2019, the vision unfolds over the course of his twelve-track conceptual project, Trouble In Paradise [Atlantic Records], introduced by the intoxicating first single “Hennessy.” His sound is about to blow up on the biggest canvas possible now.

About Masego

Masego is a self-taught singer, rapper, songwriter, comedian, producer, DJ, and more, all skills that he fuses into his self-described genre “TrapHouseJazz.” He has toured around the world and has performed with Kendrick Lamar, Flying Lotus, Thundercat, J. Cole, Ari Lennox, and more. His debut album, Lady Lady, landed on several Billboard charts, including No. 4 on Top New Artist Albums Consumption, No. 13 on R&B Album Sales, No. 22 on Heatseekers Albums, No. 40 on R&B/ Hip Hop Album Sales charts. The 13-song collection featured collaborations with SiR, FKJ, Tiffany Gouche, Kehlani, and De’Wayne Jackson. Born in Jamaica, he took on the stage name Masego meaning “Blessing” and “Prosperity” in the Tswana language that also comes from his South African heritage.

NF – CLOUDS (THE MIXTAPE)

NF RELEASES NEW PROJECT CLOUDS (THE MIXTAPE) TODAY.

SHARES MUSIC VIDEO FOR “STORY”, WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.

After a series of internet-busting moves and racking up over 60 million streams pre-release, chart-topping Michigan rapper NF unleashes his anxiously awaited new project CLOUDS (THE MIXTAPE) today. Listen to CLOUDS (THE MIXTAPE) via NF Real Music/Virgin Music HERE.

To celebrate the arrival of the project, he also shares the music video for the cinematic new single “STORY.” Co-produced and co-directed by NF and Patrick Tohill, the visual quite literally brings the song’s unbelievable drama to life without sparing its intensity. As his lyrics detail a particularly painful memory culminating in catastrophe, the metronomic keys give the beat raw tension as it underscores a harrowing armed robbery.

Watch it HERE.

NF set the stage for CLOUDS (THE MIXTAPE) with the title track “CLOUDS,” which has gathered over 17 million views on the music video. It notably trended as #1 on YouTube globally, notched his highest debut on the Billboard Hot 100 at #53, and surpassed over 55 million global streams.

The follow-up single “LOST” (feat. HOPSIN) crashed YouTube with its music video, peaking at #2 on trending and has over 21 million streams.

CLOUDS (THE MIXTAPE) finds parity between some of NF’s most technically dazzling rhymes and the apex of his vulnerable and confessional storytelling. On “THAT’S A JOKE,” he strings rap around an airy beat as the crack of a whip cuts through horns and he spits, “I’m not on your radar, then your radars broke, dont blame me for that yalls jokes fall flat.” Elsewhere, he devours the production with stop-and-start cadences on “TRUST” where he admits, ”Life I lives more like a sci-fi flick. The ride culminates on “PAID MY DUES.” He launches into breathless breakneck flows, punctuated by the declaration, “Im on a rampage. The game isn’t safe with NF on the prowl.

NF has quietly cemented himself as one of the most impactful artists in the world without ever compromising or changing who he is. The artist, director, and producer has eclipsed 18 billion streams, picked up over a dozen gold and platinum certifications, sold-out arenas, and regularly maintained a place in the “Top 500 Most Listened-To Artists on Spotify. He also logged two consecutive #1 debuts on the Billboard Top 200 with Perception [2017] and The Search [2019]. However, NF shows no signs of stopping or slowing down as he continues to leave a mark on the mainstream as arguably the underground’s biggest artist.

Spring Cleaning Tasks

Did You Remember These Spring Cleaning Tasks?

Flowers are budding, birds are chirping, and grass is turning from beige to green. Homeowners everywhere are thinking about closing the door on winter, cleaning up the house and celebrating a fresh start to spring.

The traditional spring cleaning is something many of us take to heart this time of the year, however, there may be some tasks that you didn’t think of that really take your annual wipe down and declutter to a whole new level.

In every room of the house:

Door frames — As you move through the house, don’t forget the edges of doors: whether they are closet doors, cupboards, medicine cabinets or the front door, they can all accumulate dirt and grime that you may not notice day to day. For example, kitchen cabinets can get sticky and grimy on the front and edges, from the steam produced by cooking. Same for bathroom cabinets. Most doors have a small amount of gap at the top, and that air flow can help dust accumulate. Wipe down the edges of all these surfaces for an extra level of clean.

Ceiling fans — Another dust accumulator are the blades on ceiling fans. As hot air rises, taking dust and debris with it, the blades can end up getting thick, stuck on coating over winter, when they’re less in use. Light fixtures and chandeliers also have this issue. Lightbulbs in particular attract dust through the electromagnetic waves they emit, creating a magnetic field that inevitably attracts dust.

Area rugs — You might have thought to rent a steam cleaner or hire a service for the broadloom in the bedroom, but what about the area rugs that you’ve placed here and there? The amount of dust and grime that accumulates but isn’t necessarily visible can be surprising! A run around with the vacuum might not be enough. If they’ve been in your home for a while, consider a professional rug cleaning service.

Closet revamp — Everyone knows about decluttering closets and adding hooks and shelving to make it more user friendly, but the change of season is also the ideal time to change how you use your closets entirely. Whether it’s the front hall closet or the walk-in bedroom closet, use the space seasonally and find storage for out of season items. You don’t need to be looking at mittens and boots in July, so set up one storage space as the alternative seasonal storage area and twice a year, spring and fall, you can shift clothes and accessories back and forth. The advantage to this method is that you have less stuff in your main storage spaces that you use daily, which allows you to see what you have to wear that is seasonally appropriate.

Phones and remotes — How often have you thought of wiping down your smartphone or television remotes? It might have occurred to you in a public space like a hotel, but even at home, these often-used items are some of the filthiest items you own. Ideally, you’ll get into the habit of wiping these down regularly!

Garbage bins — Even the indoor bins that you line with bags need a good going over once in a while, to catch dirt and germs that got through or around the liners. Hosing them out and washing them outside is a great job for kids; let the bins dry in the sunshine before you bring them back in.

Specific tasks for the laundry area:

Check your lint traps — Do you find that your dryer is taking a long time to dry your clothes? While most people know to check the lint trap that is right inside the dryer, you also need to clean the rest of the hose and vent to the outside. Over time, lint and other debris can get stuck in there and they could be a fire hazard, given the heat that emanates from a dryer.

Wash the washing machine — Every time you run a load of laundry, your machine is accumulating some amount of soap residue, dirt, dust and skin flakes from clothing, sheets and towels. Since most washers aren’t self-cleaning, it’s important to wash it out too. You can run a cycle with some bleach; just be sure to run another so that the washer is thoroughly rinsed, and bleach doesn’t get on your next load of colors!

Specific tasks for the kitchen:

Time to move the fridge — The coils and fan area at the back of your refrigerator can definitely get gummed up over time. Unplug your unit and pull it away gently from the wall. While the coils can be at the front / bottom of the fridge, they are sometimes found at the back and the condenser fan is definitely back there. Use a vacuum to remove all of the dust and debris that has accumulated for better overall functioning and efficiency.

Get to ground level and look under appliances — If it’s not built-in, move it! Even removing the warming drawer at the base of your stove will reveal all manner of crumbs and detritus that are attractive to bugs and vermin, so getting down to ground level and making sure that you clean under appliances where food is prepared is just good sense!

Specific tasks for bedrooms:

Eliminate mattress dust — Most people remember to flip and rotate their mattress but what about cleaning it? It’s great if you have a cover for it, but that isn’t foolproof protection for dirt, dust bunnies and so on. A better option is to remove (and wash) the cover, and vacuum your mattress, including the nooks and crannies at the edges. If you sprinkle it with baking soda and let that sit for an hour before vacuuming, you will pick up a lot more debris and the soda will deodorize your mattress from any lingering scents.

Wash your pillows — Washing pillowcases is a no brainer but as they aren’t drool proof, washing your pillows once in a while is a good idea too. Double check the labels to make sure that you can do it! This task can be a bit much for a standard washing machine, so you might need to take them to a laundromat with a high-capacity machine to get the job done but you’ll sleep better for the effort!

While this might seem like a daunting list of tasks, on top of the normal spring-cleaning effort, just remember that you don’t have it get it all done in one day. Take it a room at a time, over several weeks, but you’ll be glad of the effort when it’s all done, and you have a sparkling clean, fresh space to call home.

Irish songwriter, producer, and artist Cian Ducrot releases a brand new song titled “Crocodiles.” The song, a follow up to his recent single “Not Usually Like This” is another prime example of the young, multidisciplinary, stellar songwriting talent. “Crocodiles,” produced by Cian and co-written with collaborator Bill Maybury, proves to be an instant fan favorite with its anthemic chorus and Cian’s cunning melody play that will keep the listener engaged all the way to the end. Speaking on the song’s meaning, Cian had this to share:

“‘Crocodiles’ is a song I wrote after I experienced being let down by my closest friends when I needed them the most. Coming to terms with the idea that those you’d do anything for [those who] wouldn’t do the same for you hit me extremely hard.” – Cian Ducrot.

“Crocodiles” marks the second release off of Cian’s upcoming EP–his first with U.S. label Darkroom/Interscope Records. His previous single “Not Usually Like This” has already amassed over three million plays across DSPs, not including the very special performance that Cian treated fans with on Mahogany Sessions, which has over 320,000 views. Watch the incredible live session here.

About Cian Ducrot

Raised in Cork and based in London, but just as likely to be found recording in LA, Cian Ducrot takes a nomadic approach to pop music. Home for this 23-year-old singer, songwriter, producer and classically-trained multi-instrumentalist is wherever he happens to find his laptop and guitar–no matter where he is. Growing up in a broken home, Cian sought relief in music, listening to his Mum playing everything from Bach to Chopin–often finding that music was a way to escape the trials of abuse, a turbulent family dynamic and more. It’s no surprise that he went on to focus on music in schoo, joining musicals and drama clubs, mastering different instruments and performing from a young age. Cian will eventually win a full scholarship to study classical flute at the Royal Academy of Music–one of the most prestigious performing arts schools in the world. Around the same time, Cian knew that in order to create original music, he would have to teach himself how to produce. And so he did.

A couple of years into his schooling, Cian took a short trip to Los Angeles, CA–a trip that inspired him to pursue his dream of becoming a pop artist instead of a classical flautist. He decided to take a risk leaving his schooling (and the full ride scholarship that came with it) and moved back to Ireland to plan for his new dream. Cian was steadfast in his new writing journey, with money being tight he would often couch surf between London and L.A. The product of these experiences was his debut release, started in college (2020)–a mixtape that chronicles his unconventional road into the music industry. The risk ended up paying off when he was discovered by Darkroom/Interscope Records last Summer; promptly signed him to the label. Capitalizing on his natural talent and years of dedication, the Irish songwriter/producer and artist is at work on a new project and aims to showcase his diverse talents while exploring issues of love, loss, masculinity and frustration. Cian wishes to create music that listeners can relate to and find solace in–not unlike how a young Cian once did.
