About Ashley Kutcher

Ashley Kutcher is a 23-year-old rising singer, songwriter and artist originally from Baltimore, Maryland. Ashley originally went on to chase a nursing degree at Towson University after high school. During her time at school, a local bar discovered a video of her singing online and asked her to perform on their stage. This single opportunity opened Ashley up to the world of music and songwriting, as she quit her waitressing job and began playing sets at the bar, playing for around four hours per each night. When Ashley’s senior year came, she began posting her singing talents on TikTok. Ashley posted a demo of “Lust,” which captivated the attention of over thousands of people. Continuing off this momentum, Ashley soon after posted another demo “Hands to Myself” to streaming platforms, with the song accumulating over 1 million streams on Spotify.

While continuing to grow her emerging fanbase, Ashley noticed a tweet from blackbear that stated, “hit me up if you don’t like me.” Ashley took inspiration from this tweet, and formulated her own song called “HMU if U Don’t Like Me,” similar to the tweet by blackbear. The song rapidly gained another million streams, and Ashley realized the true talent that she possessed. Ashley, again, took to TikTok with another one of her songs “Love You From A Distance,” produced by Eric Taft. The song surpassed 9.5 million Spotify streams while she signed to Darkroom/Interscope Records (with now over 58 million audio streams). Ashley’s creative and sincere point of view attracted her audience, leading to the success of her debut EP One Eighty. Ashley now is getting ready to perform her music for the first time in Los Angeles and New York.

Billie Eilish – NDA

Billie Eilish releases hair-raising, self-directed music video for her new song, NDA, from her upcoming album, Happier than Ever.

Billie Eilish has shared the official music video and her latest single NDA. Taken from her highly anticipated sophomore studio album Happier Than Ever – out worldwide on July 30 via Darkroom/Interscope Records – the track teases a darker side to her forthcoming full-length, and comes with a hair-raising, self-directed music video. In true Billie Eilish dare-devilish fashion, the video features Billie herself, and 25 professional (extremely rehearsed) stunt drivers, weaving at full-speed around Billie at night. The video was shot in one take, and used no stunt doubles or VFX for the cars.

The seven-time GRAMMY® Award winning artist and songwriter has also confirmed she will be continuing her work with sustainability partner REVERB for her sold out 2022 tour, Happier Than Ever, The World Tour. The fan-facing Billie Eilish Action Village will be at each show and will focus on climate action and climate justice, hosting and supporting BIPOC and women-led environmental organizations as well as a comprehensive program via REVERB’s forthcoming Music Climate Revolution campaign. In addition to reducing the tour’s environmental footprint, the initiative will support projects that directly and measurably eliminate greenhouse gases. These collective efforts will make the tour Climate Positive; eliminating significantly more emissions than the tour creates.

2021 has already been quite the year for 19-year-old Eilish whose single Your Power debuted at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100, logging more than 150 Million streams in the first two weeks of release. Earlier this year, she took home two additional GRAMMY Awards; Record of the Year for everything i wanted, and Best Song Written For Visual Media for her James Bond song No Time To Die. In February, her groundbreaking documentary film, The World’s A Little Blurry — directed by R.J. Cutler — saw its Apple TV+ global release and received critical praise worldwide. Earlier this month, Billie Eilish made her book debut with BILLIE EILISH, a stunning visual narrative journey through her life. Published by Grand Central Publishing (GCP), the book features hundreds of never-before-seen photos, and captures the essence of Billie inside and out, offering readers personal glimpses into her childhood, her life on tour, and more.

ABOUT BILLIE EILISH

As Billie Eilish prepares for the July 30th, 2021 release of her highly anticipated sophomore album Happier Than Ever, the 19-year-old Los Angeles native remains one of the biggest stars to emerge in the 21st century. Since the release of her debut single ocean eyes in 2015, Eilish continues to shatter the ceiling of music with her genre-defying sound. Fast forward from her humble breakout, her album WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in the U.S as well as 17 additional countries around the world upon release in 2019, and was the most streamed album of that year. WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? was written, produced and recorded entirely by Billie Eilish and brother FINNEAS in their childhood home of Los Angeles. Billie Eilish went on to make history as the youngest artist to receive nominations and win in all the major categories at the 62nd GRAMMY® Awards, receiving an award for Best New Artist, Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Vocal Album. Billie Eilish is also the youngest artist to write and record an official James Bond theme song, No Time To Die. Most recently, Billie Eilish was nominated for four additional awards at the 63rd Annual GRAMMY Awards in 2021, and took home both Record of the Year for everything i wanted, and Best Song Written For Visual Media for No Time To Die. Billie Eilish’s forthcoming album Happier Than Ever was written by Billie and her brother FINNEAS, who also produced the album.

ASHLEY KUTCHER – FAVORITE WHAT IF

ASHLEY KUTCHER RELEASES NEW SINGLE & MUSIC VIDEO FAVORITE WHAT IF

22-year-old singer-songwriter and rising artist-to-watch Ashley Kutcher unveils a new single and music video Favorite What If. The Clyde Munroe directed video is a dreamy montage telling the story of past lovers through shots of their intimate moments spent together. The song is out now via Darkroom/Interscope Records.

On the meaning behind Favorite What If, Ashley shared, “This song is reminiscent of all the great times you’ve had with someone you’re no longer close with. I feel like people will easily relate since we’ve all had a situation where we feel plagued with thoughts of what could have been.”

On the track, dreamy guitar ebbs and flows underneath her intimate delivery. As if reading right from her diary, Ashley carries a confessional chorus with poignant power, “And I wish I told you everything I told myself I would. You left a mark on my heart, but never on my lips, and now you’re just my favorite what if.” The accompanying music video translates her vivid storytelling into a compelling display on screen.

Engaging her audience early, she increased anticipation for its arrival on TikTok with a “demo leak” post in April, amassing 315K views. Earlier this month, she previewed the mastered song in her car for another post and racked up over 500K views.

The single arrives on the heels of If I Could. It has already gathered over 1.3 million Spotify streams and 106K views on the music video. In addition to looks from Melodic Magazine and more, she sat down for recent interviews with American Songwriter and 1883 Magazine.

Her breakout song Love You From A Distance has amassed over 27M combined streams across Spotify and Apple Music, and earned placement on highly coveted playlists including Pop Rising, Fresh & Chill, Alone Again, and more. With nearly 35K TikTok creates under her belt, and radio placement from BBC Radio 1’s ‘Best New Pop’ and Sirius XM’s ‘The Pulse’, Ashley has officially taken the plunge into her new career as a musician. While continuing to impress the world with her songwriting abilities, she is hard at work preparing for her debut project out later this year via Darkroom/Interscope.

About Ashley Kutcher

Baltimore, MD singer, songwriter, and artist Ashley Kutcher distinguishes herself as the kind of raw talent equally at home on the stage of a neighborhood watering hole or live on social media. Post-high school, she pursued a nursing degree at Towson University. While at Towson, a local bar came across a video of her singing online and invited her to perform on their stage. This opportunity opened the floodgates as Ashley quit her waitressing job shortly after and logged regular marathon sets, often playing four hours per night. During her senior year, she uploaded a demo of her original composition Lust to TikTok. The video instantly gained traction and garnered thousands of views in just 48 hours. To sustain this momentum, she released a follow-up demo called “Hands To Myself” to streaming platforms and the song quickly surpassed 1 million streams on Spotify. While her nascent fan base continued to grow, Ashley came across a tweet from blackbear that read “hit me up if you don’t like me. As her creative neurons began to fire, she used the tweet as inspiration and responded with her own song similarly named HMU if U Don’t Like Me, which went on to quickly rack up another million streams.  At this point, she realized the power of transforming a post into a song and did the same thing with Love You From a Distance, setting TikTok on fire with just a D.I.Y. performance clip from her bathroom. Produced by Eric Taft, the song quickly eclipsed 9.5 million Spotify streams as she signed to Darkroom/Interscope Records (now at 38M). Amassing 20 million streams independently and 20 million TikTok views, Ashley’s heartfelt honesty captivates on a series of singles for Darkroom/Interscope and her 2021 debut EP.

CIAN DUCROT – CROCODILES

RISING IRISH ARTIST: CIAN DUCROT

NEW SONG “CROCODILES” IS A FAMILIAR TALE OF REEVALUATING FRIENDSHIPS THAT NO LONGER SERVE US.

LISTEN HERE | WATCH VIDEO HERE

Irish songwriter, producer, and artist Cian Ducrot releases a brand new song titled “Crocodiles.” The song, a follow up to his recent single “Not Usually Like This” is another prime example of the young, multidisciplinary, stellar songwriting talent. “Crocodiles,” produced by Cian and co-written with collaborator Bill Maybury, proves to be an instant fan favorite with its anthemic chorus and Cian’s cunning melody play that will keep the listener engaged all the way to the end. Speaking on the song’s meaning, Cian had this to share:

“‘Crocodiles’ is a song I wrote after I experienced being let down by my closest friends when I needed them the most. Coming to terms with the idea that those you’d do anything for [those who] wouldn’t do the same for you hit me extremely hard.” – Cian Ducrot.

“Crocodiles” marks the second release off of Cian’s upcoming EP–his first with U.S. label Darkroom/Interscope Records. His previous single “Not Usually Like This” has already amassed over three million plays across DSPs, not including the very special performance that Cian treated fans with on Mahogany Sessions, which has over 320,000 views. Watch the incredible live session here.

About Cian Ducrot

Raised in Cork and based in London, but just as likely to be found recording in LA, Cian Ducrot takes a nomadic approach to pop music. Home for this 23-year-old singer, songwriter, producer and classically-trained multi-instrumentalist is wherever he happens to find his laptop and guitar–no matter where he is. Growing up in a broken home, Cian sought relief in music, listening to his Mum playing everything from Bach to Chopin–often finding that music was a way to escape the trials of abuse, a turbulent family dynamic and more. It’s no surprise that he went on to focus on music in schoo, joining musicals and drama clubs, mastering different instruments and performing from a young age. Cian will eventually win a full scholarship to study classical flute at the Royal Academy of Music–one of the most prestigious performing arts schools in the world. Around the same time, Cian knew that in order to create original music, he would have to teach himself how to produce. And so he did.

A couple of years into his schooling, Cian took a short trip to Los Angeles, CA–a trip that inspired him to pursue his dream of becoming a pop artist instead of a classical flautist. He decided to take a risk leaving his schooling (and the full ride scholarship that came with it) and moved back to Ireland to plan for his new dream. Cian was steadfast in his new writing journey, with money being tight he would often couch surf between London and L.A. The product of these experiences was his debut release, started in college (2020)–a mixtape that chronicles his unconventional road into the music industry. The risk ended up paying off when he was discovered by Darkroom/Interscope Records last Summer; promptly signed him to the label. Capitalizing on his natural talent and years of dedication, the Irish songwriter/producer and artist is at work on a new project and aims to showcase his diverse talents while exploring issues of love, loss, masculinity and frustration. Cian wishes to create music that listeners can relate to and find solace in–not unlike how a young Cian once did.

Gryffin x Audrey Mika – Safe With Me

Today, L.A.-based artist/producer Gryffin shares his new single “Safe With Me,” featuring rising star Audrey Mika. Released via Darkroom/Interscope Records, “Safe With Me” is a heart-on-sleeve love song that’s both confessional and irresistibly catchy.

Known for his kinetic fusion of dance-pop and future bass, Gryffin recently earned RIAA gold certification for “All You Need to Know” with SLANDER ft. Calle Lehmann — a 2019 release that’s now surpassed 100 million streams. The chart-climbing single appears on Gryffin’s debut album Gravity, which hit #1 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Albums chart soon after arriving in October 2019.

“Safe With Me” follows Gryffin’s recent single “Cry,” a collaboration with Swedish singer/songwriter John Martin hailed by EDM.com as a “scintillating future pop record that tugs at the heartstrings.” In addition to “Cry,” Gryffin’s recent output includes “Hold You Tonight,” a breathtaking collaboration with platinum-selling country artist Chris Lane. Premiering in April, the acoustic-guitar-laced track marked Gryffin’s first new music since the release of Gravity — a widely acclaimed album including hits like “Remember” ft. ZOHARA (a track that shot to #1 on Dance radio), “OMG” (a #16 hit on the US Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, featuring Grammy Award-nominated singer/songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen), and “Body Back” ft. Maia Wright (#16 hit on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart). With its incredible lineup of collaborators and guest artists, Gravity also features “Hurt People” (a collaboration with singer/songwriter Aloe Blacc, co-written by Bastille frontman Dan Smith) and “Baggage” by Gryffin with Gorgon City ft. AlunaGeorge (praised by Dancing Astronaut as a “perfectly poignant and danceable requiem to the summer season”).

ABOUT GRYFFIN
Born Dan Griffith, Gryffin got his start in music as a classically trained pianist and guitarist and also played in several bands. After receiving an electrical engineering degree from the University of Southern California, he pursued a path in music production, drawing equally from his carefully honed musicality and edgy ingenuity. Gryffin made his breakthrough in 2016 with two singles showcasing his melodic take on dance music: “Heading Home” ft. Josef Salvat (which shot to #1 on Spotify’s US and Global Viral charts) and the Bipolar Sunshine collaboration “Whole Heart.” In addition, his 2017 smash single “Feel Good” — with Illenium and featuring Daya— peaked at #18 on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay charts.
