Heren Preston and Bape capsule via 360 MAGAZINE

HERON PRESTON × BAPE

Heron Preston unveils a limited capsule collaboration with BAPE®, a journey where the crosscultural design language meets the icons of American hip-hop with a unique Japanese streetwear aesthetic.

Heron Preston’s relationship with BAPE® began when the Japanese streetwear label arrived in the United States via hip-hop personalities like Pharrell Williams, The Clipse and Kanye West who were some of the first to wear the brand’s iconic designs outside of Japan. “Growing up through the era of NIGO and BAPE®, I was observing and absorbing the energy and taste levels he was introducing into streetwear. He had this special touch,” says Preston on his early memories of the brand.

Digging deep into the BAPE® archives, Preston reimagines the cult classics that inspired a generation when the brand first emerged in the zeitgeist – SHARK HOODIES, BAPE® CAMO, APE HEAD and the BAPESTA. The collection stays true to Heron Preston’s “instant language” design principle that faithfully preserves the heritage and history of each of the garments by simply adding to them.

The APE HEAD graphic t-shirts nod to the early screen print designs of BAPE® from the late 90s. A meticulous approach to the placement and finish honors these original designs with high and low effects that emulate the naive screen prints look while the heads are positioned across the rib neckline on the shirt, just as NIGO originally intended.

A workwear jacket and utility pants signal the duality between the two brands, introducing Heron Preston’s subversive take on workwear uniforms. The coordinated set is printed with throwback gestures like “Ape Shall Never Kill Ape” as well as BAPE®’s existing iconic yellow ABC camo and colorful purple COLOR camo to create a unique two tone effect. This is how Heron Preston blended the DNA of his brand with BAPE® to create something new and unique.

The collection also includes the full-zip SHARK HOODIE, which is complimented with coordinated sweatpants. Staying true to the brand’s heritage, each of the fleece items are produced by Japanese factories that have an enduring relationship with BAPE®. Both the hoodie and sweatpants are printed with BAPE®’s famous STA, a signature icon in the world of BAPESTA.

Outside of the clothing and accessories, the infamous BAPESTA sneaker is faithfully reworked in Heron Preston’s signature orange. The sneaker is crafted out of premium leather with a canvas accent printed using a tonal BAPE CAMO. Each sneaker is branded with mismatched BAPE® and Heron Preston labels.

In 2015, Preston created his own homage to BAPE® with the “Street Sweeper” sneaker, an unauthorized remix of the BAPESTA. Inspired by BAPE®’s original concept, Preston’s Street Sweeper remixed Nike’s Air Force 1 by replacing the swoosh with a custom BAPESTA logo monogram fabric. Though only 10 styles were ever produced, the concept traveled around the internet and captured the attention of BAPE® representatives. Four years later in 2019 Heron Preston received a call from BAPE® to do an official collaboration together.

In addition to each of the products, a special collection of collaborative zip bags and hang tags for packaging have been created to perfectly round out the line-up. Each of the products are also branded with Heron Preston’s signature orange labels, produced by the same supplier that makes Heron Preston labels to maintain the design integrity.

The collection will be available starting today at heronpreston.com, bape.com, farfetch.com and in select BAPE® stores worldwide.

Jlf architecture legacy houses in Jackson Hole, Wyoming via 360 magazine.

JLF ARCHITECTS

JLF Architects Announces May 2022 Release of New Book “Foundations” Published by Rizzoli and Featuring 16 Stunning Legacy Houses

JLF Architects’ announces the publication of “Foundations: Houses by JLF Architects” (Rizzoli New York), debuting on May 3, 2022, and offering an in-depth look at 16 spectacular homes designed by the Bozeman, Montana-based firm in Wyoming, Montana, Utah, Idaho and New York. The 256-page coffee-table book, already receiving media acclaim, features 200 photographs of JLF-designed houses, thoughtfully sited amid breathtaking scenery and rooted in regional history, materials and methods.

JLF Architects announces the May 3, 2022, publication of the firm’s new book “Foundations: Houses by JLF Architects.” Published by Rizzoli New York, written by Seabring Davis with JLF Design Build and with some 200 photographs by Audrey Hall, “Foundations” highlights 16 stunning JLF-designed houses set amid remarkable scenery in the mountains, on the water, in the forest and the foothills of Wyoming, Montana, Utah, Idaho and New York.

“Breathtaking houses that are built lovingly with noble materials and heritage methods, always presented in profound conversation with nature,” writes Rizzoli about the book, which has already received accolades from “BigLife” magazine in a feature on the “Modern Artifact” Park City house from the book in its recent Spring 2022 issue. And “Big Sky Journal HOME” applauds JLF Architects as the “esteemed firm [that] brings decades of experience to bear on rustic and modern design solutions” in its review of the book.

From their first project some 40 years ago, challenged with creating a Montana cabin to match existing log structures on a century-old homestead property, JLF pioneered the idea of reusing old materials. “Reclaiming the wood and rebuilding it into a new form kindled a movement in American architecture,” they write in the introduction to “Foundations.” “The early work stirred a revival of craft that launched JLF’s time-honored design-build philosophy … The authenticity of materials with their natural blemishes worn by axes, adzes, boot heels, horse hooves, and the elements seemed to belong to the Montana landscape. The buildings appeared as if they had always been there, enduring and timeless.”

JLF has taken its history-rich designs in increasingly contemporary directions in recent years, continually pushing its own limits to lead the way in what has become known as Rustic Modern or Mountain Modern design. Bringing a fresh contemporary approach to Old-World materials and methods, these JLF legacy houses retain the connections to regional history and the land that resonate deeply with homeowners, combining the highest level of artisanal craftsmanship with up-to-the-minute sustainable technology. As “Foundations” states, “Building a legacy house – large or small – with purpose is the definitive reward … we build houses that weather time, traditions, trends, and generations with practical grace.”

“BigLife” spotlights a spectacular Park City, Utah, project by JLF in “Building Dreams.” Appropriately featured in the magazine’s PLACE section, it recognizes the firm’s commitment to designing in concert with specific history and landscape since that first cabin design in 1979, which it calls “an origin story of resourcefulness and a pitch-perfect sense of place.” “BigLife” writes, “JLF has become renowned for the way that their projects are at home in their environs,” adding that the Park City house “perfectly marries the authenticity of place with a modern sensibility” and that the new book “Foundations” “offers insight into the intentionality that goes into each JLF project.”

“Big Sky Journal” reviews “Foundations” in its just-out popular annual HOME issue, writing of JLF Architects “working to build in partnership with the land through environmentally responsible, artful design” and sharing a quote from the new book to summarize the philosophy of the firm that has become known for creating “brand-new 100-year-old houses”: “The most sustainable thing we can do is design a house that will still be here in a hundred years, a place where people can gather for generations to come.”

“Foundations: Houses by JLF Architects” includes a foreword by writer, filmmaker and conservationist John Heminway, who similarly captures the mystique of a JLF house: “A home should be right in every way. It should impress, not through grandeur but through simplicity, authority, and grace. Ideally, it is located, designed, and crafted so thoughtfully that it appears the only imaginable structure for the landscape. Let others erect castles, as long as JLF can build you a home where, inside and out, you will feel better, be better … the home of the heart.”

About JLF Architects:

With over 40 years of experience, JLF Architects, pioneers in building houses with reclaimed antique timber and indigenous stone, continue as leaders in creating sustainable legacy houses that contrast rustic materials with the best of contemporary design. The award-winning Bozeman, Montana-based firm with offices in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Park City, Utah, applies distinctive solutions and Old-World techniques to create place-based houses closely aligned with the natural world and honoring history, from the Rocky Mountains to the Eastern Seaboard. Ja Morant and Lil Baby Beats campaign via 360 MAGAZINE

JA MORANT × LIL BABY

Beats by Dre (Beats) teams up with Grammy Award-winning artist Lil Baby and NBA All-Star Ja Morant in its latest campaign. The 90-second video will air in Game 3 of the NBA Playoffs, during which Morant will be playing.

The campaign is centered around Lil Baby and Ja Morant’s friendship and mutual admiration, which ultimately led to Lil Baby writing “Dark Mode” about the player. Both the track and the campaign play off Morant’s ethos around basketball, which can be summed up with the phrase, “welcome to the dark.” While many want to bask in the spotlight, one’s work ultimately illuminates itself as a result of relentlessly honing their craft in the darkness.

Lil Baby’s track focuses on “going into dark mode,” a behavior which has ultimately made Morant one of the most exciting players to watch in the league. The spot also visually reflects darkness, with both superstars appearing solely in monochromatic black and white throughout the entirety of the video.

“Ja has been one of my favorite players to watch. We’ve been locked in,” said Lil Baby. “This is not my first time partnering with Beats, but we took it up a notch with this original song. The world gets to experience ‘Dark Mode’ for the first time in a way that’s crazy!”

Beats first partnered with Lil Baby on its 2020 award-winning campaign titled “You Love Me,” while Ja Morant was recently signed as an ambassador to the brand. In the new spot, Lil Baby sports Beats Studio Buds in Moon Gray and Morant wears Beats Studio Buds in Sunset Pink, available exclusively at Target.

Watch the video on YouTube HERE. It will also go live on Beats’ InstagramTikTok and Twitter once officially launched.

About Lil Baby:

fines a generation. The GRAMMY Award-winning rapper has smashed records, made history, and impacted the course of modern hip-hop with his instantly identifiable and inimitable style. He has garnered dozens of multi platinum certifications and tens of billions of streams as arguably the biggest new rapper to emerge this decade. Following the success of his platinum full-length debut Harder Than Ever in 2018, he seized #1 on the Billboard Top 200 with 2020’s My Turn, becoming “the year’s #1 selling and #1 streaming album in the US.” At first, it cemented him as “2020’s first and only artist to go double-platinum,” but it has since gone quadruple-platinum and has logged 85 weeks in the top 10 of the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart – marking the longest top-tier run in the chart’s history.

He notably tied Prince and Paul McCartney for Billboard Hot 100 hits and Taylor Swift for “most weeks atop the Billboard Top 200 in 2020” with a total of 6. Out of eight nominations, he scored his first GRAMMY® Award in 2022. He has appeared on the covers of Rolling Stone and the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players Issue in addition to receiving honors from VEVO, Rap Caviar, the Apple Music Awards, and more. He teamed up with Lil Durk for The Voice of the Heroes, marking his second #1 debut on the Billboard Top 200. It’s just the beginning though. He’s bound to revolutionize the culture again with his third album in 2022. Most recently, he released “Right On” and “In A Minute” which both songs debuted on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. This feat puts Lil Baby in rare territory, making him the youngest of only 12 artists to have ever landed 100 or more songs on the Hot 100. This generation belongs to Lil Baby.

Eddie Vedder new music via 360 MAGAZINE

Eddie Vedder – Ukulele Songs

UMe/Republic Records reissues both Deluxe Edition and Standard Edition LP versions of Eddie Vedder’s acclaimed second solo album, May 2011’s Ukulele Songs, the first time this record has been pressed on vinyl since its initial LP release a decade ago.

The Deluxe Edition LP features the original 16-track Ukulele Songs album on high-grade 180-gram black vinyl in expanded packaging that includes a 16-page booklet and a special lithograph. The Standard Edition LP has also been pressed on 180-gram black vinyl.

Ukulele Songs comprises a fine mixture of original material penned by Vedder that he initially performed live, alongside vintage classics and standards. A recast, uke-driven version of “Can’t Keep,” which originally appeared as the opening track on Pearl Jam’s hard-charging November 2002 album Riot Act, opens the proceedings, while newer-bred original songs like the resigned lament of “Sleeping By Myself,” the charming love orbit of “Satellite,” the hopeful brightness of “Light Today,” and the instrumental interlude “Waving Palms” all set the table for the 35-minute album.

Guest vocalists appear on a pair of key Ukulele tracks, both of them fine covers of notable standards. First, Glen Hansard (The Frames, Once) adds his Irish folk DNA to “Sleepless Nights,” which was written by Felice and Boudreaux Bryant and remade by The Everly Brothers in 1960, in addition to later being covered by the likes of Emmylou Harris, Patty Loveless, and Elvis Costello.

Second, Cat Power lends her passionate tone to “Tonight You Belong To Me,” a jazz standard written in 1926 by lyricist Billy Rose and composer Lee David. This track has also been subsequently covered by the likes of Frankie Laine, Patience and Prudence, and Dottie West. Versions of “You Belong To Me” were also recently featured in the acclaimed 2019 film drama Blackbird and in an episode of the 2020 HBO horror-drama series Lovecraft Country.

The LP’s other noteworthy covers include stirring takes on Billy Rose and Edward Eliscu’s “More Than You Know,” Michael Edwards and Bud Green’s “Once In A While,” and the album-closing reading of Fabian Andre, Wilbur Schwandt, and Gus Kahn’s “Dream A Little Dream.”

Produced by Eddie Vedder and Adam Kasper (Foo Fighters, Soundgarden), Ukulele Songs peaked at No. 4 on the U.S. Billboard 200, hit No. 2 on the U.S. Top Rock Albums on Billboard, and achieved Gold status in Canada.

Sfera Ebbasta & RVSSIAN EP Italiano via 360 magazine

Sfera Ebbasta × RVSSIAN

The new Sfera Ebbasta & RVSSIAN EP, ITALIANO, released today by Island Records represents the latest chapter of the international collaboration between the two artists which began in 2018 with Pablo and Happy Birthday, both 2x platinum. Listen HERE. The EP also comes with the release of the video of “Easy” feat. Fivio Foreig. Check it out HERE.

The project, consisting of five tracks featuring collaborations with Fivio Foreign, Myke Towers and BIA, is the first time where the artist digs into his roots while his career keeps flying around the world. In ITALIANO, the two artists play with clichés often associated with Italians with the aim of regaining possession of them, a way for Sfera to proudly claim his roots; the clichés that accompany Italians abroad become something to identify with, to feel at home even when you are far away.

ITALIANO is the tip point of a path that has led Sfera Ebbasta from being one of the greatest talents of his generation to being one of the most innovative representatives of Italian music in the world, capable of collaborating once again with the most important names of the new music stage and to bring their music beyond national borders.

Sfera Ebbasta, like many other Italians, looks to the world as a place to pursue one’s dream and tonight his European tour debuts from the Bataclan stage in Paris, first of 9 stages crossing the continent. The tour will touch Paris (06.05), Luxembourg (07.05), Brussels (08.05), Barcelona (15.05), London (22.05), Madrid (27.05), Zurich (04.06), Stuttgart (05.06) and Frankfurt (11.06).

How Does Customer Service Influence Casino Players?

Casinos are a popular destination for people looking to have some fun. While the games themselves are certainly a major draw, customer service also plays an important role in keeping players happy and coming back. This incisive post will take a look at how casinos use customer service to influence player behavior. It will also discuss some of the challenges that casinos face when it comes to providing good customer service. Are you ready to learn more? Let’s go!

Needs to be convenient

First and foremost, casinos need to be convenient for their customers. This means having a location that is easy to get to and providing plenty of parking. It also means having a wide range of gaming options available so that players can find the game that suits them best.

This is equally true of online casinos because, even though players are not physically present at the casino, they still need to be able to access it easily and have a good selection of games to choose from.

Needs to be stress-free

If you try searching online casino slots real money and see what comes up, you’ll notice that more and more sites are focusing on making a stress-free environment for their players. This element of customer service is becoming increasingly important as players seek out more enjoyable ways to spend their time.

The goal of customer service in a casino is ultimately to create a positive experience for every player that comes through the doors. Whether you’re visiting an online casino or going to one in person, you shouldn’t have to worry about things, and the environment should be stress-free.

Needs to be contactable 24/7

To provide the best customer service, casinos also need to be contactable at all times. This means having a wide range of support channels available, such as phone lines, live chat, and email.

It’s also important that those channels are staffed by knowledgeable representatives who can help customers with any issues. There should always be someone available to help around the clock when needed.

Needs to be efficient

In addition to having contactable representatives, casinos also need to be efficient with their customer service. This means quickly solving issues and addressing concerns that players may have in a timely manner.

Having said this, your casino should not sacrifice quality for efficiency. Casino customers want a high level of service, even if it takes a little bit longer to resolve their issues.

Needs to be proactive

Finally, casinos need to be proactive in their customer service. This means anticipating player needs and addressing them before they even have a chance to become a problem.

For example, if a casino knows that a particular game is having technical issues, it should take measures to fix the problem before players even have a chance to encounter it.

Conclusion

For any business, customer service is important, but it’s especially crucial in the casino industry. Players need to feel like they are valued and that their experience is a top priority. By meeting the needs outlined above, casinos can ensure that their players keep coming back.

Five Terrible Mistakes That Can Hurt Your Personal Injury Claim

Personal injury claims can be extremely complex. It is crucial to make sure that you avoid making any mistakes that could negatively impact your case.

This post will discuss five of the most common and potentially damaging errors that people typically make when pursuing a personal injury claim.

  1. Failure to Seek Treatment Right Away After an Injury

One of the most common mistakes people make after sustaining an injury is failing to seek medical treatment.

Even if the extent of the injury is not immediately apparent, it is essential to get checked out by a doctor. Delayed treatment can worsen the condition and make it more difficult to prove that an accident caused the injury.

In addition, insurance companies often view delayed treatment as an indication that the injury was not severe enough to warrant immediate medical attention. As a result, failing to seek timely medical treatment can significantly impact the outcome of a personal injury claim.

If you have been injured in an accident, it is essential to consult with an experienced personal injury attorney. Wieand law firm Philadelphia has a team of knowledgeable and professional personal injury lawyers who can help you obtain the compensation you deserve.

  1. Being Dishonest About Your Injuries

Being dishonest about your injuries in a personal injury claim can be a terrible mistake that can seriously jeopardize your case.

Lying undermines your entire claim’s credibility, but it can also open you up to serious legal consequences if you are caught.

There are many situations in which dishonest behavior may seem tempting or even justified, such as when you face mounting medical bills or an insurance company offering a low settlement. However, it is critical to remember that dishonesty will rarely pay off in the long run.

Instead of trying to hide or exaggerate your injuries, it is essential to be upfront and honest with your personal injury lawyer and all parties involved in your claim.

  1. Failing to Keep Records

When pursuing a personal injury claim, it is crucial to keep detailed records of everything related to the incident. This includes documentation of injuries and expenses and records of all communications with the insurance company or legal representatives.

Failing to document your case correctly can lead to a range of problems down the road, including the risk of having your claim denied or losing out on compensation.

Additionally, poorly kept records can make your efforts to recover more challenging and time-consuming.

  1. Not Purchasing an Adequate UM/UIM and PIP Insurance Coverage

Unfortunately, many people fail to purchase adequate medical expenses and property damage coverage. This puts their injury claims at risk.

For example, you might be involved in an accident and only have the minimum amount of UM/UIM and PIP insurance coverage. The insurance will not cover any excess medical bills or damages to your vehicle.

Additionally, suppose a judge feels that your failure to purchase enough insurance was unreasonable or reckless. In that case, they may be more inclined to award less compensation or even throw out your claim altogether.

  1. Failure to Call the Police

Many people fail to call the police after a car accident. This can have severe consequences for your personal injury claim, as doing so can provide strong evidence about what happened during the accident and who is at fault.

Jurors typically rely heavily on the police report filed after an accident, and being able to produce this report can significantly strengthen your case. Moreover, having a police officer testify as an expert witness can be crucial in establishing liability.

Personal injury claims can be complex and frustrating. If you’re considering filing a personal injury claim, avoid these five mistakes. Doing so could help increase your chances of receiving the compensation you deserve for your injuries.
