Quinn Teechma, actress, photographer, and Miss Universe Canada 2022 finalist, often marvels at how social media has made our world so much larger and so much smaller at the same time.
Quinn is well aware of how large the world can be, but how small it seems when making connections with people.
Quinn’s extensive travel, beginning in early childhood, has shaped her worldview and informed her approach to supporting the myriad of platforms championed by the Miss Universe Canada organization.
A World View from an Early Age
Quinn considers herself fortunate to have been given a chance to travel the world from the tender age of one year old. Her parents embraced learning about different cultures and set out to give their children real-world experience.
“I believe seeing and learning about other cultures has brought awareness to my perspective,” explains Quinn.
The sometimes stark reality experienced by other children worldwide stayed with Quinn. Knowing what chances others may not have, Quinn set out to work hard on her various goals and provide well for herself and her family.
She was inspired in other ways as well, knowing that wherever her life led her, she wanted to give back.
“I will never forget walking the streets of Nepal with my father when I was 12 years old,” remembers Quinn, “I saw children sleeping in garbage piles, saw them sniffing bottles of glue. At the time, I didn’t understand the concept of getting high, but it still impacted me. It inspired me to work hard to build a platform for myself, so I could effect change on a global scale,” said Quinn.
You’ve Come a Long Way
The pageant world often attracts a bad rap, one that Quinn fully acknowledges, yet she cautions people against believing the negative talk regarding pageantry.
“Beauty pageants have come a long way. It’s not just about being skinny and curling your hair,” she says, “These days pageants have evolved. It’s about what you stand for. What causes are important to you, what difference are you making in our society.”
The evolution of the pageant circuit was a draw for Quinn, who was attracted to their support for various platforms that helped people in Canada and around the world. Remembering what she had learned through her childhood travels, Quinn knew she could reach a global audience for causes close to her heart through the pageant.
Closest to Quinn’s heart are platforms that work towards empowering girls and women.
“My true passion is helping everyday women feel like the queens they are,” Quinn says. She opened her boudoir photography studio in hopes of helping women fall back in love with themselves and their bodies.
Much like boudoir photography helps women embrace their beauty, inside and out, Quinn feels the Miss Universe Canada organization does the same.
“Pageants inspire millions of young girls across the universe to be better and do better,” she says.
Actively inspiring women to actively promote positive change in the world is one of the most important aspects of the Miss Universe Canada pageant and pageants in general. Pageants often encourage women to look inward and to build self-awareness and confidence. This developed tenacity that pageants give women allows them to spread confidence to others through their various platforms.
Quinn Teechma has built a life of service and empowering her fellow women with inspiration sparked by world travels. Her worldview and experiences have led her to know herself better.
“Knowing oneself and standing tall with confidence is the most powerful tool you can have stepping into the real world.”
Drawing inspiration from the strengths of the Atelier’s iconic Balancier S, the Balancier S2 is another signature timepiece, placing Greubel Forsey firmly at the heart of twenty-first century Fine Watchmaking. Spirited, contemporary, in step with its times, and it’s the final outcome of a painstaking process of minimalism embarked on by Greubel Forsey: an imposing 46.5-millimetre titanium timepiece.
“Dubai Watch Week was the ideal platform for the launch of our new Balancier S². First of all, because of the exceptional relationship we have with our partner Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, but also because of the quality of the event and the audience participating in it. A new chapter opens for Greubel Forsey.” says Antonio Calce, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Board Member.
Mohammed Abdulmagied Seddiqi, CCO of Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons announces: “The launch of the new Balancier S2 and of the Balancier S – the Ether is a momentous milestone between Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons and Greubel Forsey and the long-standing partnership between both entities. The first ever carbon Balancier S – the Ether, developed in collaboration with the brand, with a large titanium bridge limited edition is indicative of the progress made in watchmaking while commemorating the UAE’s 50th anniversary.”
The launch event organised by Greubel Forsey on 27 November at the Cipriani Dubai was redolent with success. The guests discovered a timepiece exuding tension, contrast, and strength. The legendary inclined balance wheel remains the beating heart of the piece, housed here in a new case replete with all-new finishes – new for this model, and indeed for Greubel Forsey.
For the first time, the central double-arched bridge has been openworked, epitomising the quest for something lighter, simpler, and uncluttered. The new titanium strap further enhances this ethos, blending seamlessly with the case – also made from titanium, as is the bezel with its polished sides. The latter has been shorn of the manufacturer’s traditional engraved values, while the barrel cover no longer bears the outsize ‘Greubel Forsey’ signature, but instead a modernist, circular pattern designed exclusively for the piece.
Only 38 of these new Balancier S2 watches will be produced per year, for four years: 22 with an anthracite grey caseback and 16 with a light grey caseback, accompanied by a plain or textured black rubber or titanium strap.
360 Magazine sat down with up and coming model Acobie Inniss, to find out how he got started with modeling and where he plans to go next. The young, Barbadian model has a unique look that is sure to gain attention as his modeling career takes off.
Included below is also information about Rhaj Paul a designer that works with Acobie and Graham Edwards, Acobie’s agent. Working together, the team has created an amazing shoot featuring Acobie as the star.
When did you decide to begin modeling and how did you get started?
I was approached by Graham from GADAL Model Management at the end of 2018 and I didn’t take it too seriously at the time. A year later we had another chance encounter meeting and this time I decided it couldn’t hurt to give it a try; so I officially started at the end of 2019.
What was it like growing up in Barbados?
Growing up in Barbados is great! I loved that a nice beach would always be right around the corner; I was definitely a beach person, like in the summer I would be at the beach every day. I loved riding around on my bike and playing football and many other sports with my friends.
Do you think you will eventually become a full-time model? Why or why not?
Yes! I’m hoping to become a full-time model; but I know life can have twists and turns so I remain open to it happening or not happening, where ever life takes me I guess.
Where do you aspire to be five years from now and do you have plans to get there?
Five years from now I’d like to have my own home and to be traveling the world with my girlfriend- who I hope will be my wife at that time. I also want to be in a financial position to invest in Real Estate and be able to help the needy. Things don’t always go according to plan, but it’s still good to have one in place. I plan to keep an open mind and open heart to whatever opportunities come my way.
Are your family and friends supportive of your modeling career?
My mother and my close friends are supportive.
What has been your favorite part of modeling so far?
So far, my favorite part is meeting new people; trying new experiences and exercising my confidence and communication skills.
Some of your hobbies include stunt-riding and photography, do you hope to progress these talents further in the future?
Yes, I hope to progress further in these hobbies. For example the stunt riding; I’d love to build a community (of riders) where we ride for a cause…hopefully raise some funds as well and donate to different charities while having fun riding (smile).
What makes you unique from other up and coming models?
Well, I think everyone is unique in their own way; for me, I’m not sure, some people say it’s my hair or maybe my eyes. Lol.
Do you have any collaborations coming up that you’re excited about?
I’m definitely hoping to have some collaborations! I know my agency is working on stuff…don’t want to let the cat out of the bag. I like to only speak about things after they are done.
Are there any other models you would like to work with in the future?
I’d like to work with everyone! I’m new to this industry so I want to learn as much as I can from everyone.
About Acobie Inniss
Acobie is a newly discovered Barbadian model who describes himself as a “regular guy” who loves stunt riding and going for long rides on his Haro mountain bike. He says, he also likes researching things on the internet and learning new things.

G-SHOCK RELEASES COLLABORATIVE GRAVITYMASTER TIMEPIECE WITH THE ROYAL AIR FORCE
New Model Marks the Second G-SHOCK Timepiece as an Official Partner to Her Majesty’s Armed Forces
Casio announces the release of a brand new, limited-edition GRAVITYMASTER timepiece in collaboration with the Royal Air Force (RAF) of the British Ministry of Defense. The GRB200RAF-8A, which is part of G-SHOCK’s popular GRAVITYMASTER series and designed with aviation professionals in mind, is built with an updated Carbon Core Guard structure, carbon-infused resin bezel and resin band.
The premium Carbon-insert Bezel that is engineered within the GRB200RAF boasts a three-layer structure that provides the utmost strength to withstand harsh conditions pilots are faced with on a daily basis. The top layer is also semi-transparent to reveal the carbon material inside for a tough, yet stylish look.

The new GRB200 RAF also boasts updated technical features such as automatic compass correction capabilities, Bluetooth® connectivity through the G-SHOCK Connected App featuring Mission Log, Quad Sensor technology that includes a compass, thermometer, altimeter/barometer, and step tracker, and Super Illuminator LED light, making it easy and reliable for pilots to use no matter where they are located.

TMNA is releasing a new and updated version of the faithful Toyota Corolla in 2021: the limited edition Corolla Apex Edition. The company will manufacture only 6,000 editions of the SE and XSE editions.
As a bonus, Puma and Toyota collaborated on a limited edition Corolla Apex sneaker that corresponds with the car’s launch. Only 50 units were fabricated – we got number 25! They perfectly match the vehicle and they came just in time as we celebrated the Los Angeles Lakers Championship win, honking and flickering our lights in Downtown LA near the Staples Center. Just like LeBron during the NBA playoffs, this compact car was the star attraction. After all, it is one of the top selling cars in the world.
This new model has the same horsepower as its predecessor, same TNGA-C platform, but is nearly unrecognizable in its new form.
Most of the editions will be equipped with the Dynamic Shift CVT, otherwise known as a continuously variable transmission, and colloquially known as an automatic. For those who love driving stick, Toyota is also offering just 120 models based on the SE edition that are equipped with a 6-speed Intelligent Manual Transmission.
This car leans into sportiness that has never been characteristic of a Corolla, yet does so gracefully. The new model rides lower to the ground, flaunts bronze accents, a front spoiler, fog light covers, side moldings, a rear diffuser aid in high-speed vehicle stability, and an optional rear trunk aero spoiler for those who wish it theirs.
Chrome exhaust tips accent the vehicle and black mirror caps give it an edge. Low profile, black, 18-inch wheels that are lighter than Corolla’s standard and unique to the Apex, according to Anthony Alaniz of Motor1, add to its humble discretion. LED headlights, turn signals, and taillights make sure you are safe, while the smoked-out light lenses of the taillights add to its undeniable dominance, and a large sunroof is an added bonus, especially on lazy summer nights.
The SE model is attired in premium fabric upholstery, while the XSE edition sports black SofTex®-trimmed fabric upholstery, heated front seats, and an eight-way adjustable driver’s seat with power lumbar support.
This Corolla is powered by its 2.0-liter Dynamic Force Toyota Corolla engine, which obtains its power from high-compression Toyota D4-S fuel injection system (13:1), according to Toyota’s press release. The VVT-i on the exhausts uses an electric motor instead of oil, making for a more eco-friendly and efficient exhaust.
The limited edition model has a 169 peak horsepower at 6,600 rpm and 151 lb.-ft. peak torque at 4,800 rpm, which is standard in previous Toyota models.
With the automatic transmission in the SE model, the EPA-estimated fuel economy is 31 city / 41 highway / 34 combined MPG, and the XSE’s is 31/38/34, respectively. With the manual transmission, the fuel economy is 29/36/32 MPG.
Toyota also took the model one step further in safety. The Apex Edition, along with all 2021 Corolla models, will have Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 suite of driver-assist technologies, standard. This includes a pre-collision system with daytime/low-light vehicle and pedestrian detection, plus daytime bicycle detection, full-speed range dynamic cruise control (CVT only), lane departure alert with steering assist and road edge detection, automatic high beams, lane tracing and road sign assist.
In addition, rear side airbags were added to the design, bringing the total number of airbags in the vehicle up to 10. Rear Cross-Traffic Alert with a Blind Spot Monitor is now standard on XSE models, and optional for SE models with CVT. In addition, all 2020 Corollas gain an Automatic Engine Shut-Off. This add-on will automatically turn off the engine after a designated period in the event it is left running.
As a special value, Toyota’s press release notes that, “the 2021 Corolla LE grade (gas model) will offer a new Convenience Package that combines Blind Spot Monitor, Smart Key system and 16-inch alloy wheels.”
The new Corolla Apex Edition sports new Android Auto compatibility, which complements the Apple CarPlay and Amazon Alexa potential connections already standard in this model’s predecessor, the 2020 Corolla. In addition, SiriusXM and its 3-month trial period is now available across every Corolla model.
Furthermore, the vehicle is endowed with a more efficient cooling system; the two-discharge-port oil pump and variable cooling system with an electric water pump maximizes engine engine performance and efficiency. This ensures quicker cabin heating on cold days and quicker cool-down when the A/C is on. When combined with ultra-low internal friction, the 2.0-liter engine operates at a maximum thermal efficiency of 40 percent, which is among the highest for a current passenger vehicle, according to Toyota.
The least expensive edition of the Corolla Apex, the Corolla Apex SE with a CVT, is $2,695 more than its predecessor, which brings it to $25,070. The Corolla Apex SE with a six-speed manual transmission clocks in at $25,460, and the Corolla Apex XSE at $28,210.
Ultimately, the new model’s suspension and fresh look are most noteworthy. New coil springs with internal rebound shocks allowed designers to lower the suspension 0.6 inches. This, combined with rigid, stabilizer bars, creates a stiffer suspension. Roll stiffness is now 47% more stiff in the front and 33% more in the rear—a marked improvement. And, its look undeniably transforms any preconceived notions about the Toyota Corolla, as it seems to have evolved into a chic sports car.
If you are looking to surprise your significant other with a luxurious present, look no further. If you are a young professional looking to impress your colleagues in the parking lot, you have come to the right vehicle. If you are a new parent concerned with style, safety, and reliability, this is your car. Whoever you are, the Toyota Corolla Apex can be the ideal vehicle for you.

RUF TO UNVEIL FIRST PRODUCTION CTR ANNIVERSARY AND ALL-NEW RUF GT AT THE 89TH GENEVA AUTO SHOW
RUF Automobile will unveil the first production example of the RUF CTR Anniversary as well as the RUF GT next month in Geneva, Switzerland, kicking off the manufacturer’s 80th anniversary.
RUF Automobile GmbH, manufacturer and creator of bespoke sports cars that combine performance and suitability for everyday use, will unveil two cars at the 89th Geneva Auto Show on March 5 in Hall 5 at Stand 5030 of the Palexpo in Geneva, Switzerland. The first production example of the RUF CTR Anniversary, known in prototype form as the RUF CTR 2017, will be unveiled alongside the all-new RUF GT. The pair will act as anchors in the RUF booth alongside several other RUF models from throughout the companies 80-year history, including the eRuf which was presented at the Geneva motor show in 2009.
The first production example of the RUF CTR Anniversary will be delivered to its owner during the Geneva Auto Show. The model was first announced at the 2017 Geneva Auto Show on the 30th anniversary of the original CTR and produces 710 PS (700 BHP) from its twin-turbo 3.6L, flat-six engine. Weighing in at just 1,200 kilograms (2,640 pounds), the 2019 RUF CTR Anniversary has a top speed of 360 km/h (223 mph).
The all-new RUF GT is a Porsche 991-based model acting as an extension of the previous generation of the Porsche 911. The RUF GT features a 3.0 liter flat-six engine producing 522 PS (515 BHP), 645 Nm (476 ft-lbs) of torque and has a total weight of 1,450 kilograms (3,197 pounds). The launch-control equipped 7-speed double clutch gearbox helps the car accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds. The duck tail generates high downforce and keeps the RUF GT stable at its top speed of 320 kph (199 mph).
“Each year we hope to push the technological envelope further, creating a more enjoyable, more usable and better performing sports car,” said Estonia Ruf, marketing director of RUF Automobile GmbH. “The two cars being unveiled in Geneva are the pinnacle of their respective niche in the car world. Ahead of its global auto show debut at the New York International Auto Show on Wednesday, March 28 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center, Jaguar announced an extreme variant of its best-selling F-PACE performance SUV – the F-PACE SVR.
Already recognized as the 2017 World Car of the Year and World Car Design of the Year, as well as being the best-selling model in the Jaguar line-up since its launch two years ago, the F-PACE was a natural choice to receive SVR upgrades. The performance enhancements made to create the F-PACE SVR make it the fastest and most powerful F-PACE yet. Boasting an enhanced chassis, improved aerodynamics and 170 more horsepower than the current range-topping F-PACE S, the F-PACE SVR is built for maximum driver reward in various conditions.
Engineered by Special Vehicle Operations (SVO), the 5.0-liter supercharged V8 found in the F-PACE SVR produces 550hp and 502lb. ft. of torque; a 44% uplift in power, enabling it to reach 0-60mph in just 4.1 seconds (0-100km/h in 4.3 seconds) on its way to a top speed of 176mph (283km/h)1.
“The F-PACE SVR delivers the handling and agility to match its performance,” said Mike Cross, Chief Engineer of Vehicle Integrity at Jaguar Land Rover. “Everything from the steering to the bespoke suspension set-up has been tuned specifically for our performance SUV and the result is a vehicle that lives up to the promise of both the F-PACE and SVR names.”
Aerodynamic enhancements include larger air intakes at the front and side fender vents that lower pressure in the wheel arches, reducing lift and providing additional cooling while also assisting with high-speed stability2. In addition, unique wheel arch extensions and lower body moldings provide a low-slung muscularity that sets the SVR apart.
An exclusive SVR hood features vents to help extract hot air from the engine bay, providing visual evidence of the car’s dynamic intent.
At the rear, a unique spoiler is joined by a new bumper housing the Active Exhaust system’s quad tailpipes. The bumper incorporates side strakes designed to aid aerodynamic performance by smoothing airflow away from the rear of the vehicle.
The upgraded chassis features a set of progressive front and rear springs that are 30- and 10-percent stiffer respectively; incorporating an anti-roll system that contributes to a 5-percent overall reduction in body roll.
New, lightweight forged 21- and optional 22-inch alloy wheels are wider at the rear by almost 1-inch (25mm) compared to the front and contribute to the vehicle’s enhanced handling. The 22-inch wheels are 5.3lbs lighter on the front and 3.7lbs lighter on the rear and are designed to deliver greater airflow to the larger 15.5-inch (395mm) front and 15.6-inch (396mm) rear brake discs. The brake discs feature an advanced two piece construction on the front and rear, and when combined with the lighter wheels reduce unsprung mass, further contributing to the new car’s agile handling.
The F-PACE SVR also features an F-TYPE inspired Variable Valve Active Exhaust System; providing not only a charismatic soundtrack, but also increasing exhaust gas flow as another factor behind the SUV’s increased performance capability. The SVR exhaust is 14.5lbs lighter than the standard exhaust system in the F-PACE.
As the first F-PACE to utilize a rear Electronic Active Differential (EAD), the differential in the SVR works in conjunction with a comprehensive range of advanced technologies, each calibrated to deliver increased on-road performance and handling. The torque on-demand All-Wheel Drive system’s Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD) control technology has been optimized to maximize the benefit of the EAD, while the software for the Adaptive Dynamics suspension, Electronic Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) and Dynamic Driving Mode are all unique to the F-PACE SVR. Engaging Dynamic mode initiates faster, more responsive gearshifts, sharper throttle responses and increased steering response for a more engaging driving experience in all conditions.2
Inside, the F-PACE SVR features slimline performance front seats that provide enhanced lateral support and have the signature Jaguar lozenge quilting and embossed SVR logo. In addition, unique rear seats echo the heavily sculpted designs of the seats up front, while the SUV’s sports car character is underlined by a SportShift Gear Selector like what is found in the F-TYPE sports car. Finally, the SVR branded steering wheel is enhanced with tactile aluminum paddle shifters.
For all its performance, the SVR retains the practicality and versatility inherent to the ‘PACE’ family of crossovers and SUVs; the 33.5cu. ft. of available loadspace (with rear seats up) is unaffected by the enhancements made to the SVR model. As with other F-PACE vehicles the SVR keeps passengers connected and entertained on the move with an available 4G Wi-Fi connection for up to eight devices; advanced Touch Pro infotainment system with 10-inch touchscreen standard; and a standard 12.3-inch Interactive Driver Display instrument cluster.4,5,6
Four interior color themes help to highlight the vehicle’s high performance personality; Red with Jet, Light Oyster with Jet, Siena Tan with Jet and Jet with Light Oyster stitching.
Drawing on extensive all-terrain expertise of both the Jaguar and Land Rover brands, the F-PACE SVR features a host of advanced technologies such as All-Wheel Drive with Intelligent Driveline Dynamics, All Surface Progress Control and Adaptive Surface Response to aid performance on a variety of surfaces and in a variety of weather conditions2.
The F-PACE SVR will be priced from $79,9903 when it arrives in retailer showrooms Summer of 2018, and comes standard with a best-in-class ownership package7, Jaguar EliteCare.
Customers can visit www.JaguarUSA.com for more information and to build their own F-PACE SVR.

That makes it the perfect base for SVO’s first SVX vehicle. New Discovery is the first modern Land Rover to wear the SVX badge.
Discovery SVX will be the first Land Rover hand-assembled by expert craftsmen at the SVO Technical Centre in the UK when production begins in 2018.
SVX takes Discovery versatility to new levels through further development of its formidable off-road ability. It will be offered exclusively with Jaguar Land Rover’s 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol powertrain, tuned to deliver 525PS peak power and 625Nm torque, along with suspension modifications to enhance driver confidence when tackling the toughest terrain.
