Taylor, accompanied by co-producers Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff along with a guest appearance by Justin Vernon (Bon Iver), performs each song in order of her critically adored, five star album, “folklore” and for the very first time, reveals the stories and secrets behind all 17 songs.

“folklore: the long pond studio sessions” was directed by Taylor Swift and filmed on 6 x Lumix S1H mirrorless cameras with Leica lenses embedded in the studio, along with a one Alexa LF with an Angenieux 24-290 on a Furio robotic camera with 30+ feet of curved track.

Today Taylor Swift released Fearless (Taylor’s Version).

The 27-track album of new recordings was produced by Taylor Swift, Chris Rowe, Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff and features musical collaborations with Colbie Caillat, Keith Urban and Maren Morris.

Fearless (Taylor’s Version) includes six never before released songs, including “Mr. Perfectly Fine” and “You All Over Me (Taylor’s Version)” featuring Maren Morris, which marks Taylor’s 130th Billboard Hot 100.  Taylor Swift now has the most entries in the Billboard Hot 100 of any female artist in history.

Taylor Swift released her second studio album, Fearless in 2008. It is the most awarded Country album of all time and received GRAMMY’s most prestigious accolade, Album of The Year Award in 2010. A blockchain is a series of transactions that is based off of the other. A record of cryptocurrency transactions takes form, made up of code. This allows for decentralized governance and more secure transactions, because a third, intermediary party is not involved in the transaction. The transfer went from point A to point B (with many microscopic jumps in between). Thus, no data mined. This is what the blockchain platform, Ethereum, is made out of.

This disrupts the way we think about the internet, and the idea was coined by a 19-year-old. 

Buterin co-founded Bitcoin Magazine in 2011, which he wrote for until 2014. A noted fan of Bitcoin, Buterin set out to improve the cryptocurrency. According to Nathanial Popper of the New York Times, “the most basic aim of Ethereum was to make it possible to program binding agreements into the blockchain—the smart contract concept. Two people, for instance, could program a bet on a sports game directly into the Ethereum blockchain.” Once an official winner is declared, the money would automatically be allocated to the winner. 

In 2013, Buterin published a white paper advocating for what was just his idea at the time, the blockchain platform known as Ethereum. Venture capitalist Peter Thirl then granted him a $100,000 fellowship, which allowed him to drop out of the University of Waterloo in Toronto, and devote his time completely to his idea, which is now worth more than $43 billion.

It is obvious that Ethereum and Buterin have a bright future ahead of them—and blockchain technology, even more so.

According to Matthew Braga of Canadian Business, “major financial institutions are already showing interest in blockchains.” If companies were to commit to Ethereum, they would become much more democratic. Executives would no longer call the shots, but rather, pieces of secure, man-made code would behave transparently in accordance with the consumer’s wishes.

And they have. In 2017, Popper reported that approximately 30 companies would form the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance. Now, the EEA functions with a global developer community of more than 3,000 contributors. Their mission is, according to the EEA, is to “enable organizations to adopt and use Ethereum technology in their day-to-day business operations.”

Nipping at Bitcoin’s heals, Ethereum holds immense promise.

Napoleon Dynamite – cast reunion

Key cast members of the 2004 comedy film “Napoleon Dynamite” will be reuniting virtually in a special pre-recorded program available at 5:00 pm PST/8:00 pm EST on December 4 on YouTube. The hosted reunion will be the first time many of the cast have interacted since the film first burst out of the Sundance Film Festival and became an international smash.

Jon Heder (Napoleon), Efren Ramirez (Pedro), Jon Gries (Uncle Rico), Tina Majorino (Deb), Haylie Duff (Summer) and, Shondrella Avery (LaFawnduh) are joined by several other surprise cast members for the program. The event will also serve as a fundraiser for The Hunger Project (thp.org) to end hunger worldwide. 

Entitled “Cyber Dynamite” due to its virtual nature, the online reunion follows in the footsteps of other recent pop culture online reunions, and while it will be free to view, donations are being sought to support The Hunger Project. In addition, a select group of special items from some of the cast will be available by raffle to donors contributing $75 or more. ANDERSON .PAAK RECEIVES TWO GRAMMY NOMINATIONS

Esteemed singer, songwriter, producer, and three-time Grammy Award Winner Anderson .Paak has been nominated for two Grammys. The nominations are for Best Music Video: “Lockdown” and Best Melodic Rap Performance: “Lockdown”. Both follow his Best R&B Album win for Ventura and Best R&B Performance win for “Come Home” featuring Andre 3000 earlier this year. He won his first Grammy in 2019 for Best Rap Performance for his song, “Bubblin.”

.Paak released his highly regarded single “Lockdown” earlier this year on Juneteenth via Aftermath Entertainment, exclusively distributed by 12Tone Music, LLC. Inspiration for the song came from .Paak’s participation in a Los Angeles Black Lives Matter protest where peaceful protestors were being shot with rubber bullets by the police. A video directed by Dave Meyers featuring Andra Day, Jay Rock, Syd, SiR, Dumbfoundead & Dominic Fike followed in addition to a bundle including the remix with JID, Noname, and Jay Rock. The cast & crew who participated in the “Lockdown” video donated their salaries to Black Emotional and Mental Health Collective (BEAM), Dream Defenders, and Color of Change.

Born Brandon Paak Anderson in Oxnard, California, the three-time Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter, and producer played drums as a teen in his church band and later famously worked at a marijuana farm, all while honing his musical chops pursuing his dreams. His extraordinary talent was evident in his first incarnation as Breezy Lovejoy and it was fully realized in his transformation into Anderson .Paak.

Following their acclaimed project with Travis Scott and fashion house Saint Laurent, 12on12 announced their latest collaboration with cultural icons and hip-hop legends RUN DMC.

The pioneering New York group have curated an exclusive limited edition 12″ vinyl-only compilation with bespoke artwork by rising LA artist Reena Tolentino, aka ‘RT’. 12on12 RUN DMC limited edition vinyl will be released on the 8th December by 12on12.

The 12on12 deluxe, double disc package is limited to 500 hand-numbered editions and embodies the story of RUN-DMC’s legacy within the handpicked iconic track-listing, featuring songs that inspired, affected and changed the ground-breaking group’s music.

The first release in celebration of the 35th anniversary of seminal 1986 album Raising Hell, RUN DMC pay tribute to their late bandmate Jam Master Jay and dedicate this project in his honour.

The release offers a fascinating insight into RUN DMC, one of the most influential groups of all time. Alongside tracks by early rap trailblazers The Sugarhill Gang and Afrika Bambaataa, the group have also highlighted songs that helped form the sonic foundations of the nascent hip hop sound as it emerged and evolved in New York in the early 1980s, including the breaks-goldmine of MFSB’s Love Is The Message and Kraftwerk’s game-changing Trans-Europe Express, a song rarely licensed for any compilation.

The unique work of art for the record has been designed by one of the most exciting names on the LA art scene, Reena Tolentino. A visual artist and actor, RT’s work rose to prominence after her acclaimed mural of late basketball icon Kobe Bryant. In addition to providing artwork and portraits of RUN DMC for the project she has also reinterpreted one of the most iconic hip-hop logo’s of all time with a rework of the classic RUN DMC logo.

The release continues to cement 12on12’s reputation for unique ‘vinylworks’ and bespoke collectors’ editions that live at the intersection of music, art and pop culture, providing a unique canvas for cultural icons to curate the soundtracks to their lives.

INNOVATORS. ORIGINATORS. RUN DMC’s influence on the music of the new millennium goes every bit as deep as that of Elvis Presley or The Beatles. With a career that has spanned over 30 years and 30 million record sales, the trio set the stage not only for themselves, but for an industry, for a generation and for generations to come.

Joseph “DJ Run” Simmons, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, and the late great Jason “Jam Master Jay” Mizell roared out of Hollis, Queens with 1983’s “It’s Like That”/”Sucker MCs”, transforming R&B party funk with a new combination of sparse beats and hard production textures. Within a year, they took another giant step by combining rock guitar with hip-hop in the single “Rock Box.”

The huge popularity of RUN DMC produced rap’s first gold album (RUN-DMC, 1984) and its first platinum album (King of Rock, 1985). RUN DMC’s 1986 album ”Raising Hell” caused an even greater cross-cultural explosion with their hard-core hip-hop classic “My Adidas” and collaboration with Aerosmith on “Walk This Way” – a track that redefined genre boundaries and put rap in the Billboard Pop Top 10 for the first time ever.

RUN DMC have always been trailblazers, the first rappers to appear on MTV, American Bandstand, Saturday Night Live and the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. They were the first rap act nominated for a Grammy Award (Best R&B Vocal Performance by a Group, 1986 for Raising Hell). Tragedy struck the group when Jam Master Jay was murdered in his recording studio on October 30, 2002. Shocked and saddened by the loss of their band mate Run and DMC went their separate ways. As they told the media, “We lost our drummer, we’re not RUN DMC without Jay.”

In 2009 RUN DMC were inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and in 2011 Rolling Stone named them one of the 50 Greatest Artists of All Time. Rev Run and DMC started performing together again at select shows to help bring attention and funding to the Jam Master Jay Foundation, continuing to inspire new generations of fans with the same verve they showed over three decades
