Artists participating in RUMBAZO weekend include Maluma, Becky G, Prince Royce, Natanael Cano, Ivy Queen, Omar Apollo, Yendry, Chimbala, Blessd, Jon Z, and Angie Vee.

“While this may be regarded as a festival by industry standards, there will be so much more integrated into Rumbazo including a number of fun-filled events to enjoy a diversity of Latin music, dance, and food,” said Vic Juarez, RUMBAZO festival organizer. “We invite the Las Vegas community and Latin music lovers throughout the country to join us for this massive party.”

“We are excited to welcome Rumbazo and this globally acclaimed roster of Latin talent to our venue. It is the perfect way to kick off a month that celebrates the diversity and richness of our culture,” said Bud Pico from the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center.

RUMBAZO’s weekend of festivities is produced in partnership with America’s leading brewer, Anheuser-Busch.

“We’re incredibly passionate about creating engaging experiences for our consumers, and we saw an opportunity to build on last summer’s Reventón de Verano, our award-winning virtual celebration of Hispanic music, food, and culture, to do something brand new in the Latin music festival space,” said Ronnie Yoked, Head of Experiential Marketing, Anheuser-Busch. “Working with our partners, we’ve each leveraged our unique capabilities to build a strong team dedicated to celebrating the vibrant and dynamic Latin music communities that inspire us to create a future with more cheers for years to come. Still Woozy × That’s Life

Still Woozy premieres his new single and official video for That’s Life from his debut album, If This Isn’t Nice, I Don’t Know What Is.

One of the most inventive and multifaceted new voices in the alt-pop world, Still Woozy, returns today with his sweetly lovesick new track That’s Life, released via Still Woozy Productions/Interscope Records. It’s the fourth single from Still Woozy’s forthcoming full-length debut, If This Isn’t Nice, I Don’t Know What Is. The album is due out on August 13.

Wrapped in a glistening exterior, That’s Life captures the sensation of riding out life’s highs and lows. In creating the track, the Portland-based singer/songwriter/producer otherwise known as Sven Gamsky merged lush beats, big bass grooves, and heart-on-sleeve lyrics delivered in his tender vocals. The result is a bittersweet song revealing Still Woozy’s gift for spinning painful feelings into bright and sunny melody.

“This song is my attempt to make peace with life’s inconsistencies,” says Still Woozy.

Along with “That’s Life,” If This Isn’t Nice, I Don’t Know What Is will feature several previously released singles, including Kenny (hailed by Wonderland Magazine as “an intimate and imbued soundscape, filled with alt-pop sensibilities and chilled out vocals”), Rocky (a track that inspired This Song Is Sick to proclaim: “When it comes to the momentous lo-fi/indie pop boom that’s happening right now, Still Woozy is at the head of the pack”), and Window (praised by Earmilk as a “promising first step of the new decade that expands on his groovy DIY aesthetic while maintaining a touching intimacy”).

Gamsky grew up in the Bay Area and began playing guitar as a little kid. By middle school, he’d started writing his own songs, and later honed his guitar skills by playing in a math-rock band. After further developing his musicality by studying classical guitar and electronic music at UC Santa Cruz, he released his debut EP Lately in 2019. Featuring collaborations with Omar Apollo, the self-recorded five-song project includes singles like “Habit” (a track that’s now amassed over 113 million streams on Spotify). Over the years, Still Woozy has taken the stage at major festivals like Coachella, Governor’s Ball, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits, in addition to completing a sold-out North American headlining tour.

Omar Apollo Announces North American Tour

Tickets on sale Friday, June 18th.

Today, Omar Apollo announces a Fall North American tour which will include a stop at Los Angeles Shrine Expo Hall on Saturday, October 23. He’ll be joined by Maye and Niko Rubio. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 18th at 10 am via AXS.com.

The tour announcement arrives ahead of Omar Apollo’s forthcoming single coming July 8th. The track is his first taste of new music since his project Apolonio released last year and follows the launch of his hot sauce, Disha Hot, out now. Purchase it at dishahot.com.

Buy tickets and listen to Apolonio above, see full tour routing below and stay tuned for more from Omar Apollo coming soon.

What the press is saying about Omar Apollo:

“sleek, soulful, heartache-infused love songs” – NPR

“A triple threat of an artist with plenty to offer” – Pitchfork

“lovelorn songs that reconcile the sultry sounds of D’Angelo, Prince, and Frank Ocean with Mexican soul and traditional corridos” – Rolling Stone

About Omar Apollo:

Omar Apollo is one of R&B’s most exciting shape-shifters. As the 23-year-old singer/songwriter prepares his debut album, he’s holding close to music that feels inventive, experimental, and true to his wide-ranging passion. R&B remains the foundation, but Apollo is branching out with a bilingual fusion of funk, pop, electronic, hip-hop, reggaeton, and corridos. Apollo has been a transformative but linear journey, from listening to Brandy and Stevie as a kid, to plucking away at a guitar at 11, to self-releasing a pair of EPs as a young man like 2018’s album Stereo and 2019’s Friends, which established his signature bedroom soul style and earned him love from fans and press (Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, FADER, et al.). As unique as his sound is, Apollo has gotten as much attention for his lyrics and themes of romantic yearning and self-improvement swirled up with expressions of cultural heritage and identity. Now, he is leaning even more into all of it, making music that feels closer to his heart than ever. In 2020, he released his quarantine project Apolonio. But as he finishes up his LP, he’s dreaming bigger, bringing in collaborators, and pushing himself harder than ever before. He’s more self-assured and wants the rest of the world to catch up to what his fans have been seeing from the beginning. “I used to think I wasn’t built for this because I’m just a kid from Indiana,” says Apollo. “But that thought is gone now. I know what to do. Everything just feels right.”

About Maye:

Singer/Songwriter born in Caracas, Venezuela, and raised in Miami. Her first single, “My Love” received critical acclaim. Her lyrics reflect the romantic nostalgia of Billie Holiday, hints of Sade, and a sultry pop sound that references Miami heat.

Since 2015, Halsey has amassed over 25 billion streams worldwide and sold more than 11 million adjusted albums globally. She has played sold out dates on five continents (including New York City’s Madison Square Garden), been nominated for a GRAMMY® and appeared on a wide variety of magazine covers, including Rolling Stone, Cosmopolitan, NYLON, Forbes, Playboy and Billboard. Her 2015 debut album, BADLANDS, was certified Platinum by the RIAA within one year of its release.

Halsey claimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 with 2017’s Platinum-certified hopeless fountain kingdom, which contained such hits as the 2x Platinum “Now or Never” and the 4x Platinum “Bad at Love.”

The success of the 6x Platinum “Without Me” has made Halsey the first and only female artist to have at least three songs chart on the Billboard Hot 100 for 50 weeks each. Rounding out the trio of songs are the 4x Platinum “Eastside,” her collaboration with Benny Blanco and Khalid, and The Chainsmokers’ 11x Platinum “Closer,” which she featured on. “Without Me,” which took Favorite Song, Pop/Rock honors at the American Music Awards, spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 in early 2019, marking her first solo single to reach the top spot. It now ranks as the longest-running Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hit by a female artist of this century. She is the first artist to rank at Nos. 1 and 2 simultaneously on Billboard’s Hot 100 Pop Songs radio airplay chart. In March 2019, Halsey became the first artist in history to replace herself at No. 1 twice on the U.S. Pop Songs Airplay chart when “Without Me” returned to No. 1, bumping “Eastside” from the top spot. “Without Me” was the most-played song of 2019 at U.S. radio. She featured on BTS’ Platinum hit, “Boy With Luv,” and, more recently, alongside Future on “Die for Me,” a track from Post Malone’s new album.

Halsey continues to push creative boundaries, expanding her influence and impact beyond music. After making her film debut in the animated 2018 summer movie Teen Titans GO! as the voice of Wonder Woman, she was seen in A Star is Born, starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga. She continues to use her voice to speak up for causes she passionately believes in, including disenfranchised youth, women’s rights, mental health and the LGBTQ community. GLAAD honored her in 2018 as “Outstanding Music Artist.” In 2019, she has won an AMA, the Hal David Starlight Award, presented by the Songwriters Hall of Fame, a VMA and two Teen Choice Awards.

Yoshi Flower

In June, the naturally genre-blending artist released his latest mixtape, Peer Pleasure, which was described by Rolling Stone as the “perfect album” for a “smooth summer soundtrack.” The nine-track tape explores various topics such as, validation, love and envy, amongst others. Earlier this month, V MAN premiered the “glittering” video for “Empty.” Despite the glitz and glam, bathing in diamonds, and living an extraordinarily wealthy lifestyle, the track continues to explore
another feeling of his, what’s money without love? Yoshi is set to hit
the stage at Lollapalooza today and will be joining Omar Apollo tonight
at Lolla Aftershow.

Peer Pleasure combines a variety of instrumentation styles, from moody
beats to folky strings, with his sincerely pop-rock affectation and
gloomy words. The tape ends up being a soundtrack to the most chaotic
teen dramedy to have ever been made. It lands squarely between
temperaments, allowing for a listening experience that’s just as
genuine as his previous release, American Raver.” – PAPER
