FLETCHER – Becky’s So Hot

Today, critically acclaimed queer icon FLETCHER premieres the ferverish video for her new single “Becky’s So Hot” — a thrillingly intimate portrait of lusting after her ex’s new girlfriend and the latest single from her forthcoming debut album Girl Of My Dreams — due out via Capitol Records on September 16.

Directed by Millicent Hailes (an artist/filmmaker who’s also worked with Billie Eilish, Tinashe, and Pussy Riot), the video for “Becky’s So Hot” co-stars Bella Thorne as the recipient of FLETCHER’s fascination. In a series of dreamscape-like vignettes (including FLETCHER blissfully alone in bed, then tearing through the city on a speeding motorcycle), the visual fully immerses its viewer in the hyper-saturated eroticism of FLETCHER’s interior life. Partly inspired by the moody futurism of Blade Runner 2049“Becky’s So Hot” ultimately blurs the edges of fantasy and reality to glorious effect.

Watch the video HERE

“Becky’s So Hot” sets FLETCHER’s expression of desire to an intense sonic backdrop (scorching guitar work, trembling rhythms, fiercely pounding drums) with production by long-time collaborator One Love and newcomer Pink Slip. With its dizzying collision of longing and frustration, jealousy and pleasure, the track affirms FLETCHER’s gift for bringing the most nuanced emotions to wildly dazzling life (from the chorus: “Are you in love like we were?/If I were you I’d probably keep her/Makes me wanna hit her when I see her/’Cause Becky’s so hot in your vintage T-shirt”).

The single hit #3 on the iTunes chart across all genres, trended on Genius and Twitter and has already amassed over 5 million global streams.  V Magazine said, “Backed by soaring guitars and intense drums, “Becky’s So Hot” is a dizzying expression of heartbreak, longing, and moving on.” Billboard declares, “with an undeniably catchy hook and head bang-worthy bridge, Fletcher’s petty era is already proving to be as iconic as one would hope.” Teen Vogue included the track in their “5 Best New Singles of the Week,” and Euphoria raved, “the punk-inspired bop is definitely one of the best songs of the summer and it will be sung by thousands because, let’s be honest, we all have an ex dating a Becky who’s so hot it makes you wanna know how she tastes.”

“Becky’s So Hot” arrives as the follow-up to the June track Her Body Is Bible. Executive-produced by Malay (Frank Ocean, Lorde) — who also helmed FLETCHER’s you ruined new york city for me and THE S(EX) TAPES, a 2020 EP that hit No. 1 on iTunes across all genres — Girl Of My Dreams reveals her inner world more fearlessly than ever before, documenting the deeply transformative experiences on her way to self-discovery. Fans can pre-order the album HERE and watch the album trailer HERE.

Fresh off her Lollapalooza performance of which Rolling Stone declared, “FLETCHER can sing…she earned her spot son the main stage…letting her voice soar in strength and tenor,” FLETCHER has become known for her magnetic live show, with nearly 100,000 tickets sold globally this year. She will hit the road this fall for the Girl Of My Dreams Tour, a 25-date headlining run of North America. Kicking off on October 10 at House of Blues Orlando, the tour will continue through November 18 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, with sold-out stops at legendary venues like the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. SPOTLIGHT ON AANUKO

The innovative AANUKO saloon opens its doors in the heart of the art district of Culver City! Discover an invigorating yet bespoke habitat of Los Angeles, accompanied by unparalleled coiffeurs, a podcast room and a dedicated photo studio to document your hair journey.

Vaughn Lowery had the opportunity to chat with AANUKO’s CEO and President David Alfonso about the new shop in its entirety. Listen their full conversation on the 360 MAG Apple/Spotify podcast HERE.

Officially opening their doors on August 2, the AAPI-owned grooming facility is reshaping the barber scene from a previous dull, disengaging vibe one haircut at a time. AANUKO considers the relationship between the client and the hairdresser to be sacred. A symbiotic exchange of creativity and trust.

The living space that is home to AANUKO cultivates creativity and community, unlike other conventional barbershops. With a strong team of people taking care of clients, when walking into AANUKO, you’ll instantaneously feel at home. What began as a passion project has swiftly grown into a venture that aims to embody creativity and connection through the art of hair care.

CEO David Alfonso admits that AANUKO is passion project. He recounts, “I wanted to reimagine the barbershop concept by immersing it into an unfamiliar aesthetic, but with a strangely nostalgic aesthetic … as if we were walking towards ‘a Gucci Boutique in Paris or New York in the 1980s.”

Though the barbershop is tailored towards men’s haircare, AANUKO is a unisex enterprise. Each customer takes away much more than a haircut from each visit; they earn knowledge about their own hair types, strategies they can implement to treat their hair, and an overall sense of connection with their barbers.

Draped in jaw dropping interior, the barbershop is nestled in West Los Angeles. Alfonso explained that AANUKO aims to push the envelope and exceed what other Los Angeles spaces look like. Inspired by using color, the team at AANUKO employs the theme of approaching life with a rebellious mindset.

Immerse yourself in the unforgettable atmosphere with a French bohemian theme. Each trip to the barbershop invite’s customers into a fully immersive environment. From the beautiful café serving free cocktails to the photo studio where guests can indulge in content creation, haircut visits begin at $85. Barbers take careful time to relate with customers, ensuring they get the most out of their appointment.

Alfonso further elaborates, “It’s all about an artistic, rebellious approach to reimage what we think would be a really cool space to make people feel good while getting their haircut.”

While the styling of AANUKO definitely sets it apart from other spots, Alfonso made sure to emphasize the true highlight of the design at the barbershop. To Alfonso, their eccentric, groundbreaking approach, “sets the stage, because I think the most important part of the décor is our team of barbers.”

Alfonso continued to rave about the talent of the workforce behind AANUKO. With a varied range of individuals that work together to ensure success, they all have a few things in common. From their impeccable physical skillset as artisans, to their crucifixion for their craft, each unit of AANUKO is dedicated to delivering a transformative impression.

David Alfonso asserts, “AANUKO provides a communal space for networking, content creation, and personal growth for the greater Los Angeles.” In addition, he adds, “Like god’s brand for all men’s hair … [we will] create an intimate connection with our brand with our customers.”

AANUKO celebrates their grand opening on August 2 at 5790 Washington Blvd. Their hours are 10 AM to 7 PM PST every Tuesday to Saturday. Reservations can be made HERE. Walk-ins accepted.

Rolls-Royce Spectre

Earlier this year, at a bespoke testing facility in Arjeplog, Sweden, Spectre received the first ‘lessons’ in a finishing school that is custom designed to teach the motor car how to behave and react like a Rolls-Royce. Over the past months, the marque’s test and development engineers have shifted their focus from extreme conditions to more formal scrutiny in a location that reflects the motor car’s everyday use: the French Riviera where 625,000 kilometres of Spectre’s 2.5 million kilometre global testing programme will be driven on and around the French Côte d’Azur.

This phase is split into two parts, beginning at the historic Autodrome de Miramas proving ground, located in the French department of Bouches-du-Rhône in Provence. This includes irrigation units that create standing water, handling circuits with tight corners and adverse cambers, and a heavily banked 3.1 mile three-lane high-speed bowl, enabling Spectre to be tested at continuous high speeds.

The second phase of testing in the region occurs in the countryside surrounding the Autodrome de Miramas on the roads that many production Spectres will be driven on following first customer deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Rolls-Royce Spectre: ‘Magic Carpet Ride’ In High Definition

A new suspension technology has been approved that ensures Spectre delivers Rolls-Royce’s hallmark ‘magic carpet ride’. This technology is now being refined at Miramas and on the roads of the French Riviera.

  •  New hardware component with electronic roll stabilisation uses data from the Rolls-Royce Flagbearer system, reading the road surface ahead, and Satellite Aided Navigation system, which alerts Spectre to upcoming corners.
  • On straight roads, the system can automatically decouple Spectre’s anti-roll bars, allowing each wheel to act independently to prevent rocking motion.
  • The configuration improves high-frequency distortions in ride caused by road surface.
  • Once the data in the Satellite Aided Navigation identifies an upcoming curve the components are recoupled, the suspension dampers stiffen, and the four-wheel steering system prepares for activation to ensure effortless entry and exit.
  • Under cornering, more than 18 sensors are monitored, and steering, braking, power delivery and suspension parameters are adjusted accordingly so that Spectre remains stable.

Rolls-Royce Spectre: Intelligent Architecture,  Unparalleled Rigidity

The new technology paired with the aluminium ‘Architecture of Luxury” provides unparalleled control of Spectre.  The dedicated Rolls-Royce platform provides Spectre with the most rigid body in the marque’s history.

  • The architecture is reinforced with steel sections that provide increased torsional rigidity combined with aluminium body sections that represent the largest of any Rolls-Royce yet.
  • The one-piece side panel, which extends from the front of the A-pillar to behind the rear tail-lights, is the largest ‘deep draw’ part ever produced by Rolls-Royce – extending nearly four metres in length.
  • Likewise, the pillarless coach doors, which are nearly 1.5 metres in length, are the longest in Rolls-Royce history.
  • Integration of the rigid battery structure Spectre’s architecture added support to the 30% improvement in structural rigidity.

Rolls-Royce Spectre: A Bespoke Electronic Architecture

Spectre is the most connected Rolls-Royce ever and each of its components are more intelligent than in any previous Rolls-Royce.

  • Rolls-Royce software engineers developed a decentralised processing technology by sending more sophisticated data packets – that describe a variable input  and response
  • It features 141,200 sender-receiver relations and has more than 1,000 functions and more than 25,000 sub functions.
  • This is three times more sender-receiver signals than a typical Rolls-Royce.
  • Over the course of the Riviera Testing Programme, the marque’s engineers are creating a dedicated control for each of Spectre’s 25,000-plus functions.
  • Responses calculate factors including weather, driver behaviour, vehicle status and road conditions.

Rolls-Royce Spectre: A New Aerodynamic Standard

Initial testing of the redesigned Spirit of Ecstasy mascot yielded an estimated drag coefficient (cd) of just 0.26, making it the most aerodynamic Rolls-Royce ever created. Current wind tunnel testing, digital modelling and continuous high-speed testing in Miramas, indicated it has be reduced to just 0.25.

ROLLS-ROYCE SPECTRE: THE EXTRAORDINARY UNDERTAKING CONTINUES

The Spectre global testing programme continues: the Electric Super Coupé will still be tested for a further one million kilometres before the marque’s engineers will consider this undertaking complete. First customer deliveries of Spectre will commence in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Bendigo Fletcher – Pterodactyl

Ahead of their appearance at this weekend’s Newport Folk Festival, Louisville, KY’s Bendigo Fletcher have unveiled their brand new single “Pterodactyl.” The song is available to stream and download beginning today via Elektra Records HERE.

On “Pterodactyl,” the critically acclaimed quintet continue to perfect their warm patchwork of alternative, Americana, psychedelia, and soul. Working out of Nashville, TN’s Cartoon Moon Studios, the band reunited with producer and original Wilco/Uncle Tupelo drummer Ken Coomer. Meanwhile, they recruited Grizzly Bear bassist Chris Taylor to mix the track. Lyrically, “Pterodactyl” draws up a pensive and poetic rumination on the future of a budding romance and the ripple effect one love often invites.

About the song, frontman Ryan Anderson commented, “‘Pterodactyl’ was a kind of self-soothing progression that gradually bloomed with instrumentation and textures in the studio. The repetitive rhythm feels like walking to the park in my neighborhood and just trying to feel peace. Ultimately, itߣs a reflection on the inspiration I take from the feeling of togetherness in both my relationship and in humanity in general.

“Pterodactyl” marks Bendigo Fletcher’s first new music since the release of their 2021 debut album Fits Of Laughter. Highlighted by singles “Sugar In The Creek” and “Evergreen,” the eight-track collection is available HERE via Elektra Records. Beyond amassing millions of streams, the album earned widespread critical acclaim. FLOOD Magazine hailed it as “Somewhere between the post-Woodstock folk scene of the ߢ70s and that decade’s burgeoning hard rock movement, and Music Connection dubbed it, “Alt-rock, country-flecked folk-rock soaked in LSD,” American Songwriter noted it as “Denser psych-rock with some remaining elements of Bendigo Fletcher’s drifting folk-Americana roots,” and Atwood Magazine praised “Fits Of Laughter soars with charming passion.

Renowned for their inimitable live performances, Bendigo Fletcher supported the release of Fits Of Laughter with extensive headline runs and tours supporting Anderson East, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, and Shakey Graves. This Sunday, Bendigo Fletcher will perform at Newport Folk Festival 2022. Shortly after, they will support Madison Cunningham on a coast-to-coast North American tour, beginning August 4 in Minneapolis, MN at Fine Line Music Cafe and visiting major markets across U.S. and Canada before concluding on October 22 in Washington, DC at Capital Turnaround. A complete list of upcoming tour dates can be found below. Tickets are available now HERE.

Marcus King "Blood On The Tracks" cover art shot by Danny Clinch for use by 360 Magazine

Marcus King – BOTT

Marcus King today announced the release of “Blood On The Tracks,” the latest preview, and lead single from his forthcoming solo album, Young Blood. The track was co-written with Dan Auerbach and songwriting legend Desmond Child, renowned for his work with rock acts including Alice Cooper, Joan Jett and Aerosmith. It premiered today with Garden & Gun, who stated “‘Blood On The Tracks’, finds King steeling himself for the ascent from the depths to the sunlight above.”

Over a swampy groove, gritty guitars and a thumping bass sound that offers sonic tribute to Free’s Andy Frazer, King’s soulful vocals smolder in a moment of reflection and hope, compelled to finally leave “his sins in the past.”

Recalling back to a productive session with Childs, King shared, “’Blood on the Tracks’ was the first song we wrote for the record, it was also my first time meeting Desmond Child. He’s 100% unapologetically himself at all times, and that charmed me immediately. I really enjoyed working with Dan and Desmond on this tune, they both have such an acute sensibility for a “hook” it is scary!”  He continued, “The song essentially tells the story of moving forward or being taken down by the trouble you are facing – catching the train or the bloodier alternative. Every writing session for this record started with a conversation, an opportunity for my collaborators to take a peek inside my soul and the pain I was carrying around.”

Accompanying the song release, King also dropped a live video, created at Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound Studio, it features acclaimed musicians including Chris St. Hilaire on drums and Nick Movshon on bass. Watch it HERE.

Young Blood’s tales of excess, salvation, break up and addiction, draw on some difficult and personal moments. Despite challenging personal circumstances, King has made his most accomplished work to date. The album has already received widespread critical acclaim. Rolling Stone Magazine profiled King, stating, he “turned a dark period into a blistering rock album.”  SPIN  praised King’s “classic ‘70s rock vibes.” FLOOD MAGAZINE proclaimed King “fully embodies the gritty rock sounds the songwriter’s always dipped his toes in.”  Brooklyn Vegan exclaimed, “If you’ve got a place in your heart for stuff like The Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, or ZZ Top, it’d be tough to deny that Marcus truly captures the spirit of that era (and also really shreds.)” and Jimmy Fallon shared King “is one his favorites”, before his electrifying performance of “Hard Working Man” on the Tonight Show.

King has been an outlier from the very beginning. A fourth generation musician from Greenville, SC, who learned guitar at age 3 from his blues rock musician father Marvin King. He navigated troublesome school years to quickly become known as one of the most promising young artists of our time. He followed his breakout success with The Marcus King Band, with his Auerbach produced 2020 solo album debut, El Dorado. It garnered a GRAMMY® Award nomination in the category of “Best Americana Album” and critical praise from The New York Times to NPR’s Weekend Edition With unparalleled performance prowess and a dynamic live show, King has sold out historic venues from The Beacon to The Filmore. He has opened for Chris Stapleton, Greta Van Fleet and Nathaniel Rateliff and graced the bills of Stagecoach, Fuji Rock, Rock Werchter and more. He also recently launched his own custom Gibson guitar and signature Orange guitar amplifier, the MK Ultra, which sold out before it even hit the stores.

King recently announced a massive headline US tour, with dates HERE through September and October 2022 supporting the release of his forthcoming solo album, Young Blood. He will be taking his stadium sized sound to esteemed venues across the U.S, including two nights at venues such as New York’s Beacon Theatre and Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. Neal Francis and Ashland Craft support select dates, and the tour features comedy by Dean Del Ray. Tickets on sale now HERE and a complete list of dates follows below.

King will continue to tear up the rulebook with the release Young Blood, redefining the route to modern rock stardom with a timeless sound and a singular voice, equal parts grease and grit, set to soon establish him as one of the most soulful vocalists of his generation.

Marc Seal

Listen to Marc Seal on the 360 MAG Podcast HERE.

Marc Seal is a successful entrepreneur and seasoned technologist focused on applying blockchain and NFT technologies to the digital sports and entertainment spaces. He leads innovative teams to create world-class products with partners like Disney, Marvel, Fox, Lucasfilm, Toho, MLB, and more.

He is currently the co-founder/CEO of Sortium Blockchain Studio and a pioneer of the Play 2 ecosystem. They focus on futuristic concepts and progressive core loops, as well as emphasizing on application of blockchain technologies and non-fungible tokens to entertainment spaces and digital games. His professional goal is to create an immersive digital experience that engages and entertains fans around the world.

On the other hand, Marc Seal is founder of CryptoGene, the first play-to-win web3 game where players genetically modify creatures called “Kymera” as the world’s first 3D living NFTs with DNA on-chain. By staking and caring for Kymera, players can earn tokenized resources to sell on the market, upgrade creatures, or create new ones. As Marc points out, “These are genetically engineered fantasy creatures that appear in Shane’s DNA through using real sharp DNA that we’ve unleashed via artificial intelligence and simulation using to advance Olympic learning systems.”

The main goal is “providing high-fidelity technology and advancements and artificial intelligence simulation game engine technology or 3D engine technology,” as Marc states. Without a doubt, Marc is clear that this type of games between the simulation and the real world “will alleviate the friction between user participation and the transition between various ecosystems.”

Marc is clear that this type of game must have the quality of AAA and web 3 technology since these “really innovate, specifically the number of verse or image publications, and provide player-specific experiences.”

The most important thing is that everything is built around a high-fidelity gaming experience that’s “fun and it’s not just about how do we open something’s eyes but how do we provide value to a player in the economy to have a fun experience that’s scalable and fun,” Adds Marc.

One of the main things that Marc considers is the importance to remember that not even 1% of the population knows what crypto modes are or even the interaction that can be had with the use of NFC. Marc and his team are certain in knowing that the volume is there to learn about regarding this new technological and digital world.

While gaining more knowledge of the system, users may want to take the license to have the responsibility of managing individual accounts well. Next, you will have the ability to do so, as this is a part of the platform created by Marc and his team whose ultimate goal is, “wanting to reduce friction, but give users the freedom to evolve towards decentralized ownership over time,” adds Marc.

CryptoGene

CryptoGene is constantly developing and improving services for current and future investors. Marc adds that his profession comes from this ‘platform’, an economy and game development, AAA development that works with a type of important game design or experience design, so they work on taking principles that generate a profitable and scalable game. Today, they have concentrated on building an ecosystem infrastructure to launch with crypto Gene, “that allows players to log in and then be able to spend money the way any player would log into a game and spend money today.”

College dropout and emerging enterpriser Matthew Morgan has effortlessly blended the cannabis industry and the metaverse with the fabrication of Cannaverse Technologies. As a trailblazer in his field, Matthew’s dedication to expanding the cannabis market was simply a magnanimous achievement. In recent times, 360 Magazine has had an opportunity to discuss his vocation and upcoming initiatives.

In his early twenties, Matthew worked as a commercial real estate agent. In 2008, after the economic collapse in the United States, he underwent a financial shock, quickly realizing that he would have to look for a new job. In search of new employment, Matthew noted the growth of medicinal cannabinoids. He soon noticed that the industry was on its way and jumped at the chance to dive into the business.

While the decision to switch hustles was a tough one, Matthew persevered and finally found victory. From the ground up, he constructed various verticals: Bloom Dispensaries, Tryke companies, Reef Dispensaries, Ignite Cannabis Co and Green Axis Capital.

It continued throughout 2020, when the pandemic hit. Quarantined, he was approached in August 2020 for a conference on cannabis. At first, Matthew became confused. After registering, he could take part in such an event, as it was virtual.

Matthew resolved to participate in the conference, despite his parents’ reluctance and found the gold by doing so. He was therefore catapulted to an intersection between Marijuana and Web3. When it reached higher altitudes and epiphany — a virtual immersive reality clinic.

More recently, he plans to pursue his instructions by acquiring as much capital as possible to help others in need. Finally, another tycoon interested in restructuring an upside down dilapidated society with the proper use of technology.

In short, Morgan understands that only a community-based collective will eradicate the marginalization of poor, underprivileged and abandoned pets.

All in all, Matt admits that this will not happen overnight, but at least his feet are firmly anchored. In the end, NASA aimed at the stars and landed on the moon.
