Måneskin releases supermodel via 360 MAGAZINE

Måneskin – Supermodel

Today sees fast rising global rock stars Måneskin unveil the highly anticipated new visual for their latest single Supermodel.

Directed by Bedroom projects (The 1975) and Ben Chappell (Arctic Monkeys, Nine Inch Nails), the cinematic visual sees the Gucci-styled band cast in their own script for blockbuster single Supermodel. Combining classic elements of Tarantino and Hitchcock, the band perfectly captures the song’s fierce mood and playful lyrics as a series of catastrophic events unfold.

Måneskin writes, “We wanted to pay tribute to our favorite ‘90s movies in the Supermodel music video. We tried to capture a cinematic vibe about an enigmatic character in the track and we wanted the visual to reflect that. After we came up with the idea, we worked closely with the directors and Ben to recreate frame shots and sequences from our favorite 90s films. We had so much fun filming scenes that reminded us of a detective B-movie.”

Bedroom comments, “The Måneskin video was a project that was inspired by the references of a mixture of 90s films like Run Lola Run, Reservoir Dogs, as well as, Hitchcock and a bit of 1950s Hollywood. The macguffin of the mysterious purse was something out of Marnie or Pulp fiction. Shot on Super 16.”

“This video came about after a week of sitting around the pool in LA with the band thumbing through 90s Vogue magazines and talking about our favorite 90s movies. We tried to sneak in as many small references as we could throughout the video,” Ben Chappell adds.

Produced with pop prodigy Max Martin and his team, ‘Supermodel’ is a California-soaked rock anthem, loosely based on characters they met during their time in LA. You want to hang out with this supermodel, but you might get in trouble. It’s like cigarettes: you love them but you know they’re gonna fucking kill you.” the band described in their newly unveiled NME Big Read cover interview.

Following on the heels of Måneskin’s recent Billboard Music Award win for Top Rock Song of the Year, Supermodel is quickly following the same trajectory onto the airwaves of U.S. Rock Radio –  just debuting as the top new entry on Billboard’s “Alternative Airplay” chart.  To further demonstrate the song’s allure, the band recently performed its U.S. TV debut on The Tonight Show, with Jimmy Fallon actually joining in with the band. Not only has the clip become one of the most watched recent videos on the program’s YouTube page, quickly notching over 1 million views, but it has already been scheduled for a repeat airing THIS WEEK on June 2.

Marvel and Star Wars Yoda comic via 360 magazine

STAR WARS: YODA

Announced this past weekend at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, Yoda will star in a brand-new Marvel Comics limited series this October. A ten-issue epic, STAR WARS: YODA will take place during Yoda’s self-imposed exile on Dagobah as he reflects on past adventures. The centuries-spanning saga will be divided into three arcs by three separate creative teams, each set during key moments in the Jedi Master’s long and legendary life.

New York Times bestselling author Cavan Scott and artist Nico Leon will kick things off with a story set during the Star Wars: The High Republic era. They’ll be followed by writers Jody Houser and Marc Guggenheim and artists Luke Ross and Alessandro Miracolo with stories set just before the Prequel Trilogy and near the end of the Clone Wars. Scott and Leon will return to complete the saga in the final issue. Yoda’s first-ever solo comic series, STAR WARS: YODA will reveal unexplored aspects of the Jedi Master’s storied history and shed new light on the mystery that surrounded the iconic character since his debut.

“I’ve been lucky to write Yoda in various projects over the last few years, most notably in Dooku: Jedi Lost, and every time I write him my love for him deepens,” Scott told StarWars.com. “It’s fair to say that my study at home is a shrine for three Star Wars icons: there are a lot of Obi-Wan figures; many, many, many, MANY pieces of Ewok merchandise (do I love those murder bears more than the Lepi? Don’t tell Jaxxon, but there’s every chance!); and then there is Yoda. The little guy is everywhere, in models, in art, and in lots of LEGO. Yoda casts a long shadow over anything he appears in, and writing him is a privilege and a responsibility I take seriously.”

“I’ve been wanting to do a Yoda book since I started working on the STAR WARS titles,” Editor Mark Paniccia added. “Yoda is a very special character to me as he is to everyone working on this series. We all have our hearts and souls in this and I hope the fans enjoy it as much as we have putting it together. It’s really unique and I’m very proud of it.”

Check out Phil Noto’s cover for the debut issue below and see the legendary Jedi Master like you never have before when STAR WARS: YODA #1 arrives in October! For more information, visit Marvel.com.

Himiway Zebra

All-Terrain Electric Bike

In the jungle of mighty e-bikes, Himiway has released its latest fat tire, the Zebra. With its broad shoulders and brawny physique, it effortlessly straddles various terrains. At the $1800-$2300 price point. It is the predecessor for the Cruiser, gracefully tackling errands on a daily concrete safari.

Coming in as the lowest price point from Himiway, the Zebra is an affordable option for e-bike lovers in search of a compelling creature. Suitable for the average commuter or the adventuresome, the Zebra has an array of features that set it apart from the rest.

The Bronx is our favorite testing ground due to its steep hills, deep potholes, and ominous sinkholes. Putting the Zebra to the ultimate test, we’ve discovered the true selling points of the e-bike.

Curb Appeal

The Himiway sports a strong design, renowned for its sleek, black look. The use of the stripes along the body resembles the look of the real-life animal, turning heads left and right. Not quite yet the king of the jungle, the Zebra allows users to take on the jungle in a classic and robust form furnished with lustrous styling. Available in a separate colorway of graphite or slate gray, the e-bike has the look of a true beast. Himiway shows that functionality and reliability can be as captivating as a wild animal in their natural habitat.

Design

Sporting a comfortable dismount, you’ll never having to tilt the unit sideways, making the Zebra is excellent for all sizes. The integrated rear light and 48V LED headlamp is bright, creating flawless visibility. Its hoofs are 26 × 4 so you can courageously clear many road obstacles such as sinking in mud or snow and slipping on the ground. The alloy pedals showcase reflectors for added awareness to surrounding beings. Beware of abnormally high curbs with metal lips, its spokes are vulnerable to them. Unlike its Cobra counterpart’s textured skin, it is mane has been swapped out for a foot-long raised sticker. Though both the Himiway’s could be seen sneaking around the savanna, the Zebra stands out among the pack with a chic look.

Showcasing a 960Wh battery and 52 5000mAh cells, range, stability, and safety are maximized to the fullest potential. Navigating rich terrains or just riding around the concrete jungle is easy when one charge of the Zebra will last you up to 60 miles with over 80+ miles in pedal assist. The 7-gear shift system along with pedal assist climbs ascending asphalt in dry or inclement weather. The faux-leather handle grips rival sweaty palms, though they’re easily replaceable. Understeering is unavoidable but doesn’t greatly impact overall performance.

The battery itself is large and heavy. Luckily, it’s very easy to remove and charge when need be; you only need to insert and twist the provided key. The Zebra has an impressive range of 60 to 80 miles without pedaling, with maximized power at 750W with 86Nm max motor torque. Comparable to the extreme force of the true animal running at speeds up to 40mph, we see the motorized form reach speeds of up to 23mph. The charging time is about 7 hours until fully charge.

Performance

We see an elevation of strength to graze through grounds with the extreme 750W gear hub motor equipped with an inner ring. Created to endure the roughest landscape out there, navigating just got a whole lot easier with the advancement on the profound motor. Energy can be seamlessly dispersed throughout the layout of the e-bike, allowing for us to 86Nm max torque.

The braking system performs beautifully. Tektro 180MM hydraulic disc brakes help force the model to a stop and for something as heavy as the Himiway is, it’s able to stop and start again effectively and easily.

Durability

While reliable, it’s also one of the heaviest of its class, weighing a whopping 79 pounds. Compare that to the Cruiser, which only weighs 72 pounds. The latter can hold 400 pounds, fifty greater than the former. In addition, Himiway employs high quality 6061 aluminum to give the bike unparalleled durability.

Its reserved fork accommodates wider tires which allows you to upgrade to 4.8-inch tires. The integrated design gives you protection from inclement weather, eliminating up to 98% of common mechanical failures.

The 26-inch Kenda fat tires allow for great traction, which ensures minimum sliding on the ground and plummeting through messy landscape. We’ve found that the smooth grip is perfect for light terrains.

Ergonomics/Safety

Himiway’s Zebra utilizes a soft tail adjustable seat, allowing for easy access to tweak seat height. Crafted to fit those between 5’3 to 6’3, the e-bike showcases both a step over and step thru model, catering to differing demographics. The step through, formerly an attribute of an effeminate frame, allows for great weight redistribution, which the male buyer has taken notice in.

Riding with the Zebra reminisces wildlife quests that are full of smooth yet thrilling. No matter where your journey may take you, Himiway confirms that you won’t get too dirty along the way. With front and back fenders, the e-bike comes fully equipped to protect from water, rain, and rough terrain. Keeping your clothing and the e-bike’s exterior fresh and clean, the fenders provide added ease. The rear rack conveniently allows for easy storage while on a mail or grocery run. The heavy-duty aluminum kickstand firmly poses itself while running other errands as well.

While a little heavy, the Zebra is amazing for those who yearn for long distance, light terrain adventures.

Five Habits To Adopt For a Healthy Lifestyle

We all wish for good health and long life, but they come at a price. Many deteriorations of health are being recorded due to bad habits. Therefore, knowing your well-being is a priority to us, we have identified 5 basic habits you can adopt to improve and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

  1. Exercise and weigh yourself daily

Truthfully, it’s a busy world and we can’t help but lose sight of little things like performing a 10 to 30 minutes exercise daily. However, as “playful” as it may look, daily exercise is one of the simple health habits worth adopting into your life as its benefits can’t be overemphasized. Majorly, exercising your body makes you detoxify yourself by sweating, helps you get fit, gives your body a good balance, corrects bad postures, and achieves weight loss. The great thing is that you can achieve all this without buying those large and costly regular gym equipment. You can go out for a run or use your body weight.

Likewise, it is important to keep your weight from creeping up on you. For this, you can always set a weekly weight loss goal and examine yourself against it. It has been advised that in order to get accurate outcomes, you should weigh yourself at the same time every week.

  1. Eat healthily and take enough water

Nothing kills more steadily like junk foods, hence, the habit of taking the appropriate diet daily is the beginning of a healthy lifestyle. It has been recommended that you should start your day with a healthy breakfast by taking something high in fiber and including protein to keep you full. It is believed that if you eat a good breakfast, it is a small healthy habit with a big impact. This is because it helps to eliminate ulcers, avoid headaches, and reduce your risk of diabetes.

Furthermore, you can improve your healthy eating habit by introducing more creative food item combinations. You can incorporate more green and reddish lettuces to add more nutrients, flavor, and water to your diet. Not only that, we can’t overlook the importance of water to your health, therefore, drinking a lot of water early in the morning and throughout the day is mandatory. Taking enough water helps keep your temperature normal, lubricates your joints, and safeguards your spinal cord.

  1. Reduce alcohol, Soda and resist smoking

For those who don’t know, moderation in everything is one of the basic principles to ensure a healthy lifestyle. There are about six reasons to take a break from alcohol, therefore, a reduction in the consumption of alcohol and soda can go a long way to keep you healthy. As it has been discovered, frequent intake of alcohol increases your desire for high-calorie foods and puts you at risk for weight gain. Although a reduction in the intake of alcohol and soda can’t be achieved easily, it requires some discipline and gradual adaptation. You can achieve this by taking carbonated water, unflavoured tea, coffee, or fruit-fused plain water in lieu of alcohol and soda.

  1. Have fun and stay happy

It is generally believed that happy people have more healthy lives and live much longer. Any time you are elated and you laugh or smile, you basically relieve your body of the stress and bothersome thoughts. This consequently saves you from the ravaging high blood pressure and incidental ailments like stroke. Therefore, you can partake in games or sports you love in order to get some fun and excitement. For example, for sports and gambling enthusiasts, you can always make moderate stakes and enjoy the excitement at online betting sites. Watching your favorite sport is an ideal way to unwind. With the help of review sites, you can be certain that you are in good hands and can easily search for the finest welcome bonuses, comprehensive reviews, and how-to instructions written by professionals to help gamers play with ease.

  1. Get enough sleep daily

Being a workaholic and skipping your sleep is like working against yourself. Yes, you can skip your sleep to gather all the money but your health might deteriorate in return. Consequently, as it has been severally advised, you should at least get a solid 7 to 8 hours of sleep daily to stay healthy. Getting enough sleep restores and rejuvenates your body after each day’s activities.

The new mix is featured on their forthcoming remastered and expanded edition of their career-spanning greatest hits collection, Sounds Of Summer: The Very Best Of The Beach Boys, due June 17 via Capitol Records/UMe. Originally released in 2003, the album soared to No. 16 in the US and stayed on the chart for 104 weeks. Now certified 4x platinum for sales of nearly four and a half million albums, the new edition has been updated in both number of songs and sonics as it expands the original 30-track best of with 50 more of the band’s most beloved songs for a total of 80 tracks that span their earliest hits to deeper fan-favorite cuts. Boasting 26 new mixes, it includes two first-time stereo mixes, plus 24 new-and-improved stereo mixes, which in some cases feature the latest in digital stereo extraction technology, allowing for the team to separate the original mono backing tracks for the first time.

“Shut Down” was originally released as the B-side to the single “Surfin’ U.S.A.” three weeks ahead of its inclusion on The Beach Boy’s sophomore album of the same name in March 1963. We were just kids in 1962 and could have never dreamed about where our music would take us, that it would have such a big impact on the world, still be loved, and continue to be discovered by generation after generation. This is a huge milestone that we’re all very honored to have achieved. And to our incredible fans, forever and new, we look forward to sharing even more throughout the year.”

UMe President & CEO, Bruce Resnikoff, said: “The Beach Boys have created some of the most iconic and beloved music of all time. The deluxe multi-disc set follows last year’s acclaimed boxed set Feel Flows – The Sunflower and Surf’s Up Sessions 1969-1971 that topped many critic’s year-end lists and chronicled and explored the metamorphic and highly influential 1969-1971 period of the band’s [ career through tons of unreleased tracks, live recordings, radio promos, alternate versions, alternate mixes, isolated backing tracks and a cappella versions, culled from the album sessions. More details will be revealed at a later date.

Besides the new music releases from Capitol/UMe, The Beach Boys are also catching new waves by participating in a feature length documentary currently in the works, a tribute special, prestigious exhibitions and events, unique brand partnerships, and much more to celebrate their 60th anniversary.
