Paired with a pop-infused beat, the song’s lyrics evoke the “butterflies in the stomach” deeling that are a hallmark of infatuation. Listen to “Juegas,” which was released today by Capitol Music Group and Universal Music Latin Entertainment, HERE.

Earlier this month, FEID received TWO 2020 LATIN GRAMMY nominations for BEST REGGAETON PERFORMANCE and BEST URBAN MUSIC ALBUM, both recognizing the success of his collaboration with Justin Quiles on PORFA and his breakthrough album, FERXXO (VOL. 1: M.O.R.).

“Juegas” is the follow-up to “Volver,” the summer 2020 single that launched Carmen DeLeon’s career. She and FEID wrote the new song with Maxium, Mista Bombo, Leon Yamil and Jonathan Tobas. It was produced by Maxium, Mista Bombo and Leon Yamil.

“Juegas” is as authentic as it comes, especially when DeLeon describes what she draws inspiration from and how she puts pen to paper.

Carmen DeLeon says, “I wrote “Juegas” one night in Miami around one a.m. with one of my best friends. I wanted to write a love song that focused on the need to give and receive in a relationship. To me, that’s the best part of living life with a partner. I hope that people feel inspired when they hear this song and understand the importance of giving and receiving.”

Directed and produced by Gian Rivera (aka “Death of Gian”), who helmed Feid‘a video for “PORFA (Remix),” the official video for “Juegas” was shot in Miami and is infused with the kind of energy and enthusiasm that is characteristic of DeLeon’s style and artistic sensibility. Much like the theme of reciprocity that DeLeon highlights, the song’s combination of vibrant beat, melody and lyrics remind listeners that music is the ultimate antidote. Watch the video HERE.

Volver,” Carmen DeLeon’s debut single, has already amassed more than 800,000 combined global streams. It was produced by Tainy, the Puerto Rican mastermind who’s been responsible for some of the biggest hits in reggaeton and trap. In a few short months, DeLeon has grown a considerable following on her social channels, with 30,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and more than two million views on her YouTube channel. Born in Venezuela, she is now based in Miami.

Euphoria said, “Carmen DeLeon commands the world as her stage with fiery gusto and an undeniable sense of positivity. Further proving her right as music’s next breath of fresh air, the spry 19-year-old artist masters the microphone with “Volver,” a fiery ode to budding passion and power.”

Wonderland noted, “Sharing her struggles with anxiety, the highs and lows of these uncertain times and how it’s okay not to be okay, DeLeon brings her Latin roots to the fore on the laid-back tune, reminding us all exactly why she’s a force to be reckoned with.”

Praising the sing-along banger, Idolator declared, “Carmen DeLeon needs to be on your pop radar.”

Zhamira Zambrano started her artistic path in 2016, when she became one of the finalists of the reality TV show La Banda, although she was already known as a promising content creator on YouTube.

After her evolution from a YouTube artist to an interpreter of the urban genre thanks to the signing of her musical contract with record label Dímelo Vi, Zhamira has managed to captivate her audience with three promotional singles: “Me alejo de ti”, “Si es por mi” and “Se va”, whose music videos have more than 10 million views on YouTube.

Today, the talented singer-songwriter releases “De locos”, a song she co-authored with Maya and Vicente Saavedra and was produced by Electrik, under the wings of the record label Dímelo Vi.

Guitarists to Follow In 2020

Guitars are among the best known musical instruments in the world, given that they have been around for a very long time, so it would be easy to assume that they no longer hold secrets, but some artists are working to discover new styles and bring their skills to the next level every day.

If you are into guitars as well and you know what an analog delay pedal is and you are also using one, then you surely need to take a look at what some of these next guitarists have to say in terms of their music, given the instrument’s history

We’ve done our research and picked guitarists that are bringing something new to this industry, given their diverse backgrounds and experiences, so let’s see who they are.

To be followed this year

Vanny Tonon is from Italy, a country famous for its artistic expression throughout history. With a unique style, Vanny usually starts from a melodic idea and a chord progression, and chooses one of these, but the most important part is that he uses his emotions to guide the sound. He sees music as color, so you can say that he is actually sort of painting with the sound.

The next guitarist on our list is Sarah Joanne from the United States. What makes her style unique is the fact that she likes experimenting with both distorted and clean sounds in every song she makes. She is also in a band that has a diverse sound, including elements from soft piano to harsher metal ones. She, too, is using her emotions when writing songs and then sees the end result.

You should also check out what Daniel Donato has to say in terms of playing the guitar. What defines his style is a passion for technical ability and the joy that every guitarist feels when learning to play for the first time. This is what keeps his sounds fresh, but he also likes incorporating elements from old-school country players, as well as from the psychedelic era.

Felix Martin from Venezuela deserved a closer look as well, given that he plays two guitars as one. This is what makes his music stand out, as he mixes two melodies, two chords, as well as various percussion techniques.

If you want to take your own skills to the next level, he is definitely a guitarist that you can take a look at for inspiration, especially since he uses the tapping technique, instead of the normal fingerstyle guitar playing one.

Talented guitarists around the world

What makes today’s world exciting is the lack of limitations, and this can be seen in every aspect of our lives. Therefore, we turned an eye to Australia for inspiration as well, and this is where we found Mark Fisher. Also known as Phisha, this talented musician brings thoughtful lyrics, songwriting techniques, as well as vocal abilities together to make his own music.

Also in Australia, there’s Andrew Higgs, another talented guitarist that can be found by the name “King of the North”. He plays with a lot of attack and he strives to perform every song, not simply play it, and that includes singing.

Moving on to the United States, we’ve also taken a look at Ando San Washington, a guitarist who uses hip-hop beats, as well as progressive guitar elements into the same song. The result is a fresh sound that uses thumping as a technique. What makes his music truly interesting is the fact that he creates melody and harmony using different chords.

You should also take a look at Lore Paz Ampuero, a Chilean guitarist that combines two different trends in her music. She gets her inspiration from jazz for clean sounds, but also adds a modern touch using various techniques, such as tapping, fingerstyle, and thumping. She developed her style by listening to a lot of modern artists, and she constantly looks for innovation and creative ways to get inspired.

Another guitarist that you want to keep in mind this year is Kris Xenopolous from South Africa. His music is a combination of everything he has heard, but it can be translated into a jazz-fusion with metal, pop, and hip-hop elements. He is into experimenting with modern guitar-playing techniques such as thumping and tapping, so we can certainly expect many other interesting sounds from him.

She is best known for her series regular role on the Nickelodeon series “Bella & The Bulldogs,” but can now be seen starring in the networks popular new series: “Knight Squad,” which returns for season 2 in early 2019. Lilimar stars as the lead role of “Sage” a very interesting witch, that is full or fire and fury (but in a good way!). “Knight Squad is set at a magical school for knights in training, where two mismatched students form an unlikely alliance to protect each other’s secret and pursue their dreams,” according to a Nickelodeon show description.

Off-screen, Lilimar has used her strong social presence to set empowering, self-love social initiatives like #FreshFaceFriday and #StarGazeSaturday; with the goal of lifting up her followers and encouraging them to embrace their unique beauty and individuality.

I was really excited to start both of these on my socials, because I just love connecting with my stargazers (my supporters). I’m so incredibly grateful for every ounce of love & support they show as it always keeps me so positive and happy so I wanted to do something that shows that I support THEM just as much.” – Lilimar

The goal is to encourage young people to break boundaries and not be afraid to show the world who they really are beneath the make-up, the clothes, and fake images we try to portray online. We live in a world where we’re forcing ourselves to achieve perfection through photos instead of embracing our true natural beautiful selves. Connecting directly with her fans on these topics, Lilimar discusses issues that teens think about today like peer pressure, family, owning your individual power, societal norms in the modern age.

Brian Taborda x Artwork

My name is Brian Taborda. I am a 24-year-old with an affinity for putting pen to paper and creating magic. Ever since I was a child I’ve always found myself drawn to drawing. As the years went by, I narrowed my artistic focus and began honing my skills as a cartoonist. Growing up, I always admired the artwork when I would watch my favorite cartoons on T.V. I chose to pursue this style because I was attracted to the freedom that this genre of art offered. Cartoons tend to be funny and ironic. Cartoons are one of the oldest forms of animated entertainment and, despite technological advancement, cartoons have maintained the classic and simplistic design elements that have set the style apart from other forms of artistic expression. These last few years, the political and economical climate in my home country of Venezuela has worsened tremendously. The present situation has motivated me to further develop my illustration skills. I know that if I improve, I will be able to achieve whatever I set my mind to. Choosing to focus on my art means working for commission so that I can earn enough money to escape this socialist dictatorship in Venezuela. I’ve been able to work towards fulfilling my dreams because of the the support that I receive from my family, my girlfriend and my friends. I specialize a style of cartoon illustration that was popular in the 1930’s, however, I like to add a bit of an “underground” or “urban” vibe to the final products. I work primarily using Adobe Illustrator. I typically use the brush and pen tools and draw with the mouse. I hope to one day illustrate using more modern tools but, since the economy of my country is so bad, I can’t afford the proper equipment so I have to use what I have. Fans of my art can look forward to seeing my name agin in the future future as I hope to, one day, release my own clothing line, with stickers, skateboards, etc. that will have my illustrations on them. Of course, I would keep on doing commissions of my drawing for clients who ware interested. My goal is to get more people to start loving and appreciating cartoons, especially the older ones that were the pioneers of this timeless genre. They are the base of everything we have now animation wise.
