Global music icon Daddy Yankee has received a GRAMMY®Award nomination in the category “Best Música Urbana Album” for his chart-topping farewell album, LEGENDADDY. This notably marks his fifth career nomination at the GRAMMY® Awards. 

The ceremony airs live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 5, 2023.

LEGENDADDY remains a phenomenon, with over 3 billion streams worldwide. It not only became the #1 Latin album in the world, but the album’s global hit “REMIX” vaulted to #1 on the Latin Airplay chart leading radio charts in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, while “RUMBATÓN” reached #1 on the Latin Urban Airplay chart in the US this week.

In addition, the track “HOT” in collaboration with Pitbull, reached No. 25 on the chart.

LEGENDADDY was also the first album of 2022 to be certified multi-platinum by the RIAA with over one billion streams and was listed as the mid-year Top Latin Album. The album reached #1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart, consecutively achieving his fifth #1 debut on the chart. Additionally, it entered the Top 10 of the Billboard Top 200 chart at #8, marking his highest chart position to date and his first Top 10 hit in 15 years since 2007’s El Cartel: The Big Boss. It also placed at #1 on the Weekly Top Albums chart on Spotify.

He also sold-out his farewell tour “La Última Vuelta in the U.S. The tour began this past July 25 at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado with a completely sold-out show and continued at The Forum in Los Angeles, California where they made history with 5 sold out shows, and Phoenix, AZ. Promoted by Cardenas Marketing Network and Raphy PinaMR Sold Out, the five-month trek includes some of the rapper-songwriters’ biggest headline shows in North America and Latin America to date. Lil Baby – Detox

To close out the summer, Grammy-nominated rapper, mogul, and philanthropist Lil Baby has unleashed a new track “Detox.” The Atlanta native has launched himself into superstardom since his inception in 2017, and “Detox” is the latest in a long line of hard-hitting tracks that showcase the rapper at the top of his game. The new single is an indication that Baby has no intentions of slowing his grind and continues to fortify himself as the reigning champ of his era. To accompany the release, Lil Baby shared a new video for the track.

The single comes alongside the final show of Lil Baby and Chris Brown’s massive North American One Of Them Ones tour, and on the heels of an MTV VMA win for Best Hip Hop for “Do We Have A Problem” with Nicki Minaj. Doja Cat – Woman

Global superstar Doja Cat releases the music video for her hit song “Woman” via Kemosabe/RCA Records. “Woman” is featured on her GRAMMY nominated album Planet Her which was released this summer. The video premiered on MTV Live, MTVU and across MTV’s global network of channels, as well as BET Her and BET Soul; plus on the ViacomCBS Times Square billboard. It’s directed by child. Inspiring a new generation of computer scientists, DojaCode invites fans to unlock exclusive content in Doja Cat’s newest video — all by using code. The interactive experience was dreamt up in partnership with Mojo Supermarket and built by Active Theory.

Doja Cat was just nominated for 8 GRAMMY Awards including the coveted Album of the Year, Record Of The Year and Song of the Year categories amongst others. Multi-platinum recording artist Machine Gun Kelly, announced his new album born with horns today via a matching tattoo with the album’s executive producer and frequent collaborator, Travis Barker. born with horns will be the Rockstar’s sixth studio album and follows his 2020 Platinum album Tickets To My Downfall which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and has received multiple awards including an MTV VMA, Billboard Awards for “Best Rock Album” and “Best Rock Artist,” and an iHeart Radio Award.
