Lectra announces the acquisition of the majority of the capital of TextileGenesis

Lectra extends its software offer to material traceability
and reinforces its position in Industry 4.0

Lectra announces the signature of an agreement to acquire 51% of the capital and voting rights of the Dutch company TextileGenesis. As a major player in the fashion, automotive, and furniture markets, Lectra contributes with boldness and passion to the Industry 4.0 revolution by providing software, equipment, data, and services to brands, manufacturers, and retailers.

Founded in 2018, TextileGenesis provides a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that enables fashion brands and sustainable textile manufacturers to ensure a reliable, secure and fully digital mapping of their textiles, from the fiber to the consumer, and thereby guarantee their authenticity and origins. This solution ensures the traceability of TextileGenesis’ customers’ entire sustainable textile supply chain in order to meet the demands for transparency, driven by changes in legislation in a growing number of countries and by growing consumer awareness, thereby encouraging sustainable development.

Its innovative traceability mechanism, which addresses both ends of the textile value chain, as well as its network of partners for material certification, and its technology platform guarantee the exchange and tracking of reliable and secure data throughout a material’s life cycle.

Several of the world’s most prestigious fashion brands as well as leading sustainable fiber producers are already convinced of the value of TextileGenesis’ innovative offer, which enables the connection of multiple actors of the sustainable fashion ecosystem on this platform.

“Fashion is one of the most fragmented industries due to its long and complex value chain, which makes it opaque to brands, suppliers, subcontractors, and consumers” says Amit Gautam, founder of TextileGenesis. “Today, only 19% of fashion industry actors have visibility of their value chain, and this visibility is often partial. Many brands, especially those that have set ambitious sustainability goals, face a real challenge in terms of supply chain transparency. If they cannot track the life cycle of certified materials, they will not be able to justify the sustainability of their products,” he adds.

“Having the highest ethical standards, guaranteeing the well-being of our employees, and preserving the environment are embedded in Lectra’s DNA and guide our daily decisions. Through our technology, acquisitions, and partnerships, we aim to empower our customers to work in a more socially and environmentally responsible way,” says Daniel Harari, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lectra. “We look forward to joining forces with TextileGenesis’ talented teams to accelerate the development of their sustainable material traceability solution and deepen our knowledge of the textile value chain in the fashion industry,” he concludes.

At the beginning of January, Lectra will acquire 51% of TextileGenesis for 15.2 million euros. The acquisition of the remaining share capital and voting rights is expected to take place in two stages, in 2026 and 2028, for an amount that will be calculated based on a multiple of the 2025 and 2027 recurring revenues.

WunderLocke unveils design-led Rooftop and Penthouse Suites via Isabella by 360 Magazine

WunderLocke unveils design-led Rooftop & Penthouse Suites

Located in Sendling, Munich, newly opened aparthotel WunderLocke by pioneering lifestyle brand Locke, has unveiled its seventh floor rooftop suites and impressive Penthouse Suites. The 360-apartment destination is ideally located in the up-and-coming neighbourhood of Sendling and brings a hospitality concept like no other to the Bavarian capital. WunderLocke provides suites for leisure and business travellers alike, offering eleven one-bedroom open plan suites, three two-bedroom penthouse suites, and the WunderLocke Penthouse Suite.

The design of the seventh-floor suites was overseen by renowned interior architects Holloway Li who took advantage of the striking views of the alps. The impressive 126sqm WunderLocke Penthouse Suite boasts an expansive stand-alone bathtub, offering guests the ultimate relaxation. The colour scheme throughout is anchored by natural earth tones and rich botanical greens, with biophilic insertions and natural materials creating a feeling of serenity. Munich-based multidisciplinary artist Monika Morito was also commissioned to paint a small mural in sunset tones which features in the space. In addition, the WunderLocke Penthouse Suite features its own private terrace complete with a jacuzzi configured to maximise and amplify its unique setting, while the 100sqm Two Bedroom Penthouse Suite features spectacular city views. Both penthouse suites also feature separate living quarters, an eight-person dining table, and two king-size beds in two separate bedrooms. In signature Locke style, both penthouse suites include a fully-equipped kitchen complete with a microwave oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer and cooking gear.

This was our first opportunity to design Penthouse suites for Locke and we were spoiled by the panoramic views the building afforded. Our design scheme for the penthouses chimed with the overall concept for WunderLocke, both paying homage to the heritage of the host building by retaining the exposed concrete shell and using natural materials as well as a thoughtful colour palette and greenery to provide a fitting counterpoint to the machine-age setting of the space. We hope the spaces provide both a sense of renewal as well as a connection to the wonderful surrounding city.”- Alex Holloway, Creative Director and Co-Founder of Holloway Li.

For the seventh-floor suites, Holloway Li mirrored the landscape of the alps in the distance to the lateral flow of the apartments. The 31m² Rooftop One Bedroom Open Plan Suites are complete with rooftop terraces, living spaces and fully equipped kitchens complete with dining tables and more.

For The WunderLocke Penthouse Suite and the Rooftop One Bedroom Open Plan Suites  featuring splendid terraces, Holloway Li worked with artist Claire de Quénetain to create bespoke fabrics for each of the external terrace loungers; her painterly illustrations take inspiration from natural settings and provide the perfect counterpoint to the building’s industrial past.

All seventh floor suites along with the WunderLocke Penthouse Suite feature Locke’s signature perks, including air conditioning, a power shower with Kinsey Apothecary toiletries, blackout curtains, private, superfast Wi-Fi, a Smart HDTV with Chromecast, a separate living area and a fully-equipped kitchen, microwave oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer. The urban roof garden, opening in Spring 2023, will also be accessible from the seventh floor.

WunderLocke’s size and location allowed us to really expand on our suite offerings, providing a private sanctuary for our guests where they can enjoy an elevated experience in our spectacular suites with unrivalled views of the alps and city.” Eric Jafari, Chief Development Officer & Creative Director, edyn.

Lifestyle aparthotel brand Locke opened WunderLocke in July 2022, continuing its European expansion. The property includes 360 spacious design-led apartments, a large co-working area, meeting and event spaces as well as an outdoor heated swimming pool, sauna and workout studio and a food and drink concept unparalleled in Germany in the form of ‘Mural Farmhouse’: five food and drink destinations spread across seven floors conceived by the founders of revered local Michelin-starred restaurant, Mural.

The Two Bedroom Penthouse Suite starts from €450, the WunderLocke Penthouse Suite starts from €520, the Two Bedroom Suites starts from €275 and the Rooftop One Bedroom Open Plan Suites starts from €150.

Pirelli – Lamborghini Urus Performante

THE FIRST PIRELLI P ZERO TROFEO R FOR SUVs IS BORN WITH A RECORD FOR THE LAMBORGHINI URUS PERFORMANTE

The latest custom tire for the newest Lamborghini joins the six tires already produced by Pirelli for the Urus

The Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R has set a new benchmark, conquering the legendary Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on the Lamborghini Urus Performante in record time for the category. This same tire was chosen by Lamborghini as the original equipment for the newest version of its super SUV.

From the start, the Urus was already homologated with six variants of Pirelli tires: P Zero tires in 21, 22, and 23 inches, designed to ensure high performance on the road; 22-inch P Zero Corsa covers for fun on the track; as well as 21-inch Scorpion Zero All Season and 22-inch Scorpion Winter equipment to drive on any terrain and in low temperatures. Joining them is now the 22-inch P Zero Trofeo R: the most performance-oriented Pirelli tire of all, specifically intended for the track but also approved for the road.

It marks the very first time that Pirelli has adapted a P Zero Trofeo R for the needs of an SUV: this latest evolution tire for the Lamborghini Urus Performante is able to offer high performance in a wider range of conditions and temperatures than the standard P Zero Trofeo R. The new tire is also capable of conquering some of the most famous roads in motorsport, such as the epic Pikes Peak Hill Climb course in Colorado. With multiple hill climb champion and Pirelli test driver Simone Faggioli behind the wheel, the Performante recorded a time of 10m32.064s: beating the previous class record of 10m49.902s, set in 2018.

Like all Lamborghini tires, this particular P Zero Trofeo R was born out of the close collaboration between Pirelli and Lamborghini, which dates back to 1963. The technological partnership that binds the two companies is based on the ‘Perfect Fit’ philosophy: a strategy through which Pirelli develops bespoke tires for each car made by the Premium and Prestige manufacturers it collaborates with. All Lamborghinis can be fitted with Pirelli tires created for the specific features of each model, both as original equipment and on the aftermarket. Pirelli and Lamborghini also have a shared history in competition that goes back more than 30 years: from the debut of the Scorpion for the LM002 that contested the Paris-Dakar Rally in 1988, to the current GT World Challenge Europe: exclusively supplied by Pirelli with Lamborghini among the leading teams.

Five Golf Courses to Visit in OCNY for use by 360 Magazine

5 Simple Tips for Maintaining Your Golf Equipment

If you want to perform the best you can at golf and make sure that your equipment lasts a long time, you have to learn how to maintain it. Golf equipment can get very expensive, and the more you take care of it, the less you’ll have to spend. A lot of people simply don’t know how to take care of their gear, while others make mistakes that could end up deteriorating it even faster. Here are a few simple tips you can follow to maintain your golf equipment.

Store them Properly

The first thing you have to do is make sure that you store your clubs the right way. The best place to store your clubs is inside at a moderate temperature. The worst place is a hot car trunk. You have to avoid hot and humid environments at all costs since they can end up weakening the glue that keeps the club head and grip in place. Some golf clubs are very susceptible to rust also, which is why you need to store them somewhere dry. You also have to wipe them down if they get wet on the course before storing them away.

Invest in a Golf Towel

A golf towel could be any towel you have lying around or a fancy one made specifically for golfers. Some towels will have fancy wicking technology and reinforced eyeholes to make them easier to carry. You don’t have to spend a fortune on a towel, but it could be a great investment. You should wipe down your clubs every time they get dirty on the course. Make sure to wipe both the grips and the clubface.

Golf Cart Maintenance

If you own a golf cart, there are some things you can do to keep it running and extend its lifespan. First, you have to make sure that you inspect your batteries often and make sure that there is enough water to completely submerge the lead plates. You should also clean your battery’s connections while you’re at it. Look for any signs of dirt or corrosion. You can clean the connections using a simple water/baking soda solution.

You also have to make sure that you constantly verify the thread on your golf cart’s tires. If you want to take your golf cart to the next level, we would also suggest you invest in DOT-approved tires as they’re more robust and can handle more conditions.

Speaking of tires, you should also make sure that you check the air pressure in them constantly. Poor pressure will lead them to wear out faster and could result in accidents. There is a higher risk that you will puncture them as well.

Cover Your Woods

If you aren’t using headcovers on your woods yet, you need to do so immediately. This will protect them when you take them in and out of your bag or when they’re knocking against each other in the trunk of your car. Note that these aren’t as necessary for irons. Even pros won’t use covers on those. The same goes with putters, though they’re a bit more delicate than irons, so covers are not a bad idea here.

Inspect and Clean Your Grips

Do not neglect your grips and make sure to clean them as regularly as your clubheads. You should also be looking for signs of wear. Check if some areas are shinier than others. This indicates slickness. You also have to check for cracks or worn areas. You should regrip your clubs the minute you see heavy signs of deterioration. This is something you can do on your own or at a pro shop.

If you follow these few tips, your golf equipment will look and perform great for a long time. Do not neglect these steps if you care about your golf gear and don’t want to constantly spend money on replacements.

ARB Base Rack on car in forest

New ARB BASE Rack

For the first time in 20 years, ARB has revolutionized the product on which the company was founded: the BASE Rack.

In 1975, the roof rack was the first product manufactured and sold by ARB. 45 years later, ARB engineers have continuously improved stronger, lighter, and more versatile racks to carry all of your adventuring needs.

On can mount a basket for the weekend camping trip, run side rails only for the construction project, then strip down to a flat rack for the canoe. The BASE Rack stands apart as the most modular design in the market. Fully-customizable side-rail configuration, and a suite of new accessories leveraging a dovetail style attachment system provides adventurers the speed and flexibility they need to transform the weekday workhorse into the weekend explorer.

The ABR dovetail system provides flexibility to attach a wide range of accessories where you need them. The side-mounting profile also provides full use of the beams’ top surface and allows the beams to support cargo without protruding tie-down points.

The BASE Rack, build, attach, set, explore, is a full-welded, aluminum design providing weight savings without sacrificing strength and durability. The fully-welded beams that run the width of the vehicle, gives the BASE rack the strength of the steel racks, at a fraction of the weight. In addition, the sleek design integrates into the vehicle’s overall appearance. Because of the strength in the cross beams, there is no requirement for a sub-frame, lowering the rack height of the vehicle.

Born and bred in the Australian outback, ARB 4×4 accessories continue to push the limits of what explorers and adventurers can do with their 4WD vehicles. The BASE Rack demonstrates how ARB continues to evolve, innovation, and build on their overlanding heritage.

About ARB:

ARB is Australia’s largest manufacturer and distributor of 4×4 accessories. We also have an international presence, with an office in the US and an export network that extends through more than 80 countries around the globe. Our philosophy, however, has never wavered from its original course – quality, reliability, and practicality above all else.

VALEO x CES 2019

At CES in Las Vegas for the sixth consecutive year, Valeo is unveiling its latest technological innovations at the epicenter of the revolutions shaping mobility, i.e., the advent of autonomous vehicles, powertrain electrification and digital mobility. These three disruptions transforming the automotive industry are also driving profound change in society.

Valeo develops new technologies to make this transformation a reality. One example that can be seen and tested in the streets of Las Vegas during CES 2019 is Valeo Drive4U®, the Group’s first autonomous car, which is unique in that it can perform all operations using only Valeo sensors that are already series-produced (ultrasound, cameras, lasers, radars and LiDARS) and artificial intelligence. The vehicle is essentially equipped with a full-fledged digital brain that can process the inputs and learn from the scenarios it encounters in the city.

One of the key challenges in autonomous driving is safety. Road accidents are a global epidemic and most often the result of human error. Valeo’s goal is for its systems to significantly reduce accidents, setting the target of less than one major incident for every billion kilometers driven, which would represent a higher level of safety than in the aeronautics industry. To achieve this result, Valeo is presenting two major innovations in Las Vegas: Valeo Drive4U® Remote to operate autonomous vehicles remotely when assistance is required or even vital, and Valeo Voyage XR, which is able to simulate the virtual presence of a person – based in a fixed location – on board the autonomous vehicle during the journey. This means that the car could potentially be controlled externally by somebody who is aware of what is happening within the vehicle. Based on this innovation, Valeo has designed a new form of communication that allows a “stationary” passenger wearing a virtual reality headset to teleport into a moving vehicle.

Also with a view to increasing safety, Valeo will be showcasing Valeo XtraVue Trailer and Valeo PictureBeam Monolithic. The first of these two innovations causes a trailer or caravan to appear invisible in the rearview mirror of the vehicle towing it, making all maneuvers easier and safer for the driver. The second is a high definition lighting system developed in partnership with CREE, the US market leader in the manufacture of LEDs. The solution generates a high definition beam of light on the road without ever blinding other road users and projects information and images onto the pavement.

Lastly, since usage patterns are changing, with digital tools giving access to new ways of getting around, Valeo is developing technologies to promote their widespread take-up. Examples include the Valeo Clean Road app, which generates customized routes to avoid peak pollution areas, and Valeo Oxy’Zen, which can be used to activate air purification systems inside the vehicle cabin.

With these innovations, Valeo is once again demonstrating its capacity to imagine, design and develop technologies conducive to new forms of mobility that are widely accessible yet adapted to individual needs.

Reebok Alter the Icons Collection × JayIDK

Reebok has unveiled its second iteration of the game-changing “Alter the Icons” collection – this time in partnership with emerging rapper and record producer JayIDK.

The collection, which puts a new and refreshing spin on classic Reebok silhouettes like the Classic Leather and Workout Plus, tears up the traditional design rulebook and will launch August 15. In addition to launching the collection, Reebok has also debuted a video with JayIDK – highlighting his journey and alternative path to success.

See the video here: http://youtu.be/LJK2xdMAodc

They say you don’t mess with a Classic – but Reebok’s done it anyway. Reebok Classic’s newest campaign with Foot Locker Inc., dubbed Alter the Icons, discards decades of design practice to present radically chopped-and-skewed, heritage-hacked spins on the brand’s most iconic sneakers in an open statement against convention.

Featuring classic footwear with reinterpretations of the brand’s iconic Starcrest and vector logos, the campaign spotlights the brand’s unique approach to heritage – that tradition isn’t canon, but a platform for contemporary thinking. Alter the Icons looks to guide the rising generation of future designers, artists and other young visionaries in helping them homage history without being swallowed by it. It is a challenge for creatively and culturally-minded consumers across the globe: dare to alter your path.

To launch the campaign, Reebok is dropping the product with a street-level pop-up saluting New York’s famed street merchant culture. A brand-approved street merchant will set up shop starting at 10 a.m. outside Foot Locker’s New York Flagship on 34th Street in Herald Square featuring street-legal spins on classic Reebok merch. Open to the public for one day only, the pop-up will guide consumers into the Foot Locker storefront where they will discover the official campaign product.

“With this launch pop-up activation, we wanted to pay homage to something that has not only been a part of New York City’s street culture for decades, but speaks to the spirit behind what Alter the Icons is all about – challenging convention and breaking the rules,” says Neal Taylor, General Manager of Reebok Classic.

The campaign will continue by rolling out a series of video profiles featuring a selection of game changing contemporary music artists – including Saweetie, Lil Baby, Bodega Bamz, JAYIDK and MadeinTYO – sharing their unconventional paths to success that showcase a similar departure from creative tradition. A trailer for the series featuring these visionary artists can be viewed here.

“Alter the Icons is about celebrating those who have similarly broken custom within their mediums – fashion, music, design, art – by using their own ‘spin’ to alter traditional paths to success,” Neal Taylor adds, “We see these five artists as role models for bold cultural departure, inspiring a likeminded generation of rising creatives to push boundaries and march to the beat of their own drum.”

The first drop of the Alter the Icons collection, featuring the Classic Leather and Workout Plus silhouettes, is available for purchase beginning today on Reebok.com, and in-store and online at Foot Locker, Lady Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, SIX:02, Champs Sports and Footaction for $85 while supplies last.
