The successful series of the great of the N was renewed for its return and is already a success after its first weekend of release. “Stranger Things 4” debuted to record numbers.
Netflix claimed that “Stranger Things 4 — Volume 1” clocked in at 286.7 million hours viewed. That number surpasses the second season of “Bridgerton,” which reached 193 million hours watched in March 2022. The company added that “Stranger Things 4” has ranked in the top 10 out of 93 countries the company tracks.
After a long wait due to the pandemic, the creation of the Duffer Brothers returned with new episodes, and their long absence has been worth it.
The series “Stranger Things”, which is set in the fictional town of Hawkins, in the state of Indiana, United States follows a group of children and adults who fight against the forces of a parallel universe, it is Netflix’s biggest franchise.
Netflix announced in February 2022 that the series’ fourth season would premiere in two parts this summer. The first part was released on May 27 and the second will arrive on July 1. The company added that Stranger Things will conclude with season 5.
Set in the 1980s, the Netflix show takes place in different parts of the United States and the world. The return to Hawkins, they add the California stadium where the Byer family moved with Eleven and Russia, where Jim Hooper is. Besides, this season’s enemy, Vecna, a monster from the Upside Down, will do his thing and all the characters must unite to face him.
