ATZARÓ GROUP NEWS

Atzaró Agroturismo Hotel will be reopening on March 4, 2021. The pandemic saw the hotel fully booked throughout the 2020 summer season, its beautiful and extensive gardens offering the perfect spacious retreat.  The 13-hectare estate is one of Europe’s leading luxury destinations with sprawling manicured gardens, organic vegetable garden, farm, 24 bedrooms, 2 restaurants, 7 pools, terraces and spa all providing the perfect destination to let go, unwind and focus on wellness and relaxation.  The concept is ‘natural luxury’ and the look is chic, simple, harmonious and calm with a splash of Ibiza glamour.

The Atzaró Vegetable Garden, opened in the summer of 2019 for Atzaró’s celebrated 15th Anniversary, is a magnificent 3-hectare organic vegetable garden. The garden features tree and pergola lined walkways strewn with climbing and tumbling vegetables and flowers, out lounging areas, duck pond, large vegetable beds, a romantic seated restaurant, bar and picnic areas, an open-air cinema and expansive Atzaró valley and mountain views. Some very special visits are planned in 2021 from UK celebrity chefs for one-off curated dinners and a calendar of spectacular summer dining experiences with live jazz and opera are planned.

Atzaró Agroturismo Hotel, a magical estate with authentic style and glamour, is known as the heart of Ibiza and is the best Agroturismo hotel on the island. From the abundant nature-rich estate, to the charm of the authentically Ibizan history and design of the hotel, the ‘farm-to-fork’ food, the gloriously dreamy long daybed days under the sun to romantic starry nights under the palms.

Aubergine by Atzaró, Atzaró Group’s much-loved and heralded country-chic ‘farm-to-table’ restaurant in the Ibiza countryside near Santa Gertrudis will reopen for the 2021 season at the end of March 2021 and ready for Easter. The large romantic garden restaurant is found on the San Miguel road – a quaint century-old finca with traditional white thick plaster walls and stylish, authentic touches. The upscaled furniture, with its olive-green pastel hue, adds to the atmosphere to set the scene for dream-like dining. The spacious outside dining areas of terraces, gardens and pergolas are set amongst cascading planting with views over the Ibizan countryside. The food concept is ‘farm-to-table’, a Mediterranean style with a strong focus on health, vitality and flavour, with organic ingredients grown in the Atzaró Vegetable Garden and a sumptuous home-cooked style, which has made the restaurant an Ibiza must-do.

Atzaró Beach is the Atzaró Group’s beach club restaurant on the stunning beach of Cala Nova, on Ibiza’s northeast coast. Reopening late spring 2021, the boho-style beach club and restaurant is open for long sun-soaked daybed days, terrace lunches and moonlit dinners. A revised new menu sees healthy inclusions and sharing plates, with organic produce fresh from the Atzaró Vegetable Garden. Choose from one of the 30 double daybeds priced for the day per bed or visit for lunch or dinner. The beach club, which has become an Insta favourite, has with natural wood pergolas, hanging rattan lamps, peacock chairs, an abundance of lush green plants and cacti, rustic lounging and straw umbrellas.

Atzaró Chiringuito is Atzaró Group’s laid-back little sister on the beach and is reopening late Spring 2021. The beach bar and restaurant with an enviable location on Cala Nova, amongst the sand dunes – one of the best beaches on the Island, is a favourite for holiday makers and locals looking for the simple beach-life of Ibiza’s yesteryear. Cocktails, juices, salads and snacks are perfect on the terrace or lounging on the restaurant’s beach sunbeds, taking in the view.

Au/Ra – Moon River Cover

Following the release of her single “Ideas” earlier this year and recent feature on Jax Jones’ track “i miss u,” Au/Ra has shared her cover of “Moon River,” which is available now via Columbia Records. Listen HERE.

Originally performed by Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s, the song was written by Henry Mancini and Johnny Mercer and has been covered by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, Louis Armstrong, Frank Ocean and more. Au/Ra has added her unique take on the track, which has a dusky and ethereal edge that is displayed through the visualizer accompanying the track. Watch HERE.

Au/Ra says: “I’ve always loved this song, especially the version sung by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and it’s something I’ve always wanted to do my own rendition of. During quarantine I thought ‘why not give it a try?’ It was something I just wanted to do for fun with my dad, but we ended up liking it so much that we wanted to make it an actual release for listeners.”

Ibiza-born and Antigua-raised songwriter Au/Ra explores the challenges of being a modern-day teenager, writing music that touches on the issues today’s younger generation face on a daily basis, such as anxiety, communicating in an always online world and having to always show off your best self. Her single before “Ideas” was “Ghost” with Alan Walker, which was part of the Death Standing soundtrack and has been streamed over 32 million times on Spotify alone. “Panic Room,” her Platinum selling hit, was remixed by CamelPhat and stayed in the Top 40 for 9 weeks, amassing 122M streams on Spotify. She was recently featured on Jax Jones’ single “i miss u,” which she performed alongside him on Little Mix’s show The Search and was playlisted at Radio 1, Capitol and Kiss FM, achieving almost 18M streams so far. Watch a live version of the track HERE.

An undercurrent of most of Au/Ra’s deeply visual and evocative lyrics is a sense of escapism, influenced by her fandom of anime and fantasy. Growing up devouring Studio Ghibli films, she’s always loved to disappear into the soft-edged, uncanny world of Miyazaki animations, and uses similar designs to flesh out the visual world of her music. With her lovingly made outsider-pop, Au/Ra is providing a similar kind of space in her song writing: one where misfits feel at home and where the listener gets to peer for a minute through the lens of an artist who has simultaneously grown up outside the system, but who speaks with the zeitgeist of her generation.

Look out for more new music from Au/Ra coming soon!

Available in yellow with yellow stars, with short sleeves and is one size only. Fits a UK size 8 to 12.

Also online is the ‘Jody’ dress which comes in five beautiful prints and is a cotton maxi/midi dress. It has gathering detail at the skirt for a tiered effect, adding a light bounce and volume. Or choose the ‘Kimono’ dress in silk with a tie at the back, three-quarter length sleeves and a V neck with silk buttons.

Later this year new styles will be arriving including the ‘Susie’ a beautiful vintage-inspired pleated dress printed with teal/pink, lilac/blue or mint green botanical hand-blocked prints. Or try out a new gypsy blouse in delicate cotton with a thin scalloped edge, or check out the long-sleeved cotton onesie with contrasting red stitching on navy.

Handmade jewellery by Victoria this season includes dainty multi-coloured semi-precious stone necklaces that you can layer up, gypsy three vertical hoop earrings or teensy gold plated charms, (from 30 Euros) that include mini-pomegranates, elephants, stars, cacti and seahorses as collectable pieces to add to a chunky chain bracelet.

La Elefante’s philosophy is underpinned with the important message of giving back.  Many of the pieces in-store involve NGOs (such as Key To Freedom in Calcutta and SEWA in Delhi) and charities and artisans across the globe in far off places such as Madagascar and Nepal. All items are made supporting, encouraging & empowering women, as well as sustaining disappearing craftsmanship.

FISHER Releases “You Little Beauty”

Grammy -nominated DJ and producer FISHER has dropped new single “You Little Beauty,” released today, May 10th. Listen to the track HERE.

The track, which samples the vocals of late disco and house legend Loleatta Holloway, is released via the Australian artist’s own Catch & Release label and Astralwerks. The track evoked a particularly strong reaction when dropped in the midst of FISHER’s massively well-received set at Coachella last month.

“You Little Beauty” marks the larger-than-life character’s first release of 2019, following on from last years “Losing It.” An instant hit, the track has now racked up more than 66 million Spotify streams.

This preceded a sold out Catch & Release party at Miami Music Week, and FISHER’s summer is shaping up to be just as busy. With slots at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas and Movement Detroit before the end of the month, he will then embark on an extensive European tour, taking in Parklife, Lovebox, Leeds & Reading, and more.

FISHER is also set to partner with Solardo and Camelphat for a brand-new weekly Ibiza residency. Titled Bodyworks, they will take over Hï Ibiza every Tuesday from June 25th to September 24th.

Known for his wild sense of humor and energetic DJing style, FISHER first burst onto the US electronic scene with tracks “Stop It” and “Ya Kidding” and has since become one of the scene’s most in- demand talents.

Arriving just in time for summer, “You Little Beauty” has all the makings of a track set to take both charts and dance floors by storm.
