Jaxx – Too Often

21-year-old artist Jaxx recently debuted his new single “Too Often,” on January 21. Showcasing a vibrant vibe throughout, Jaxx expresses how better days are ahead and how he’s on his way to living out his dream. He sings, “’Bouta live my dream, yeah like that, gotta feed my team, count up fast, better days I know you wish you had.”

The single has rose to notoriety quickly, catching spots on Billboard’s Fresh Picks. Billboard noted that Jaxx “combines expressive melodies and free flexes on his playful and confident new single.” The single gained praise from Teen Vogue as well, landing a place on their Best New Music, mentioning that the single “drips will the feel-good swagger.”

About Jaxx

Originally from Arizona, Jaxx had a prospective pro skateboarding career before the thought of making music even crossed his mind. When he reached his later teen years, his older brother began delving into making music, which inspired Jaxx. He decided he would go after this newfound dream, recording his first few songs on his iPhone in the church parking lot.

His first song that gained traction was “Ride With Me,” a melodious song all about loyalty, that achieved over 100K streams. Jaxx continued his journey in the music realm with popular singles “Road 2 Nowhere” and “Like This!” Later joining forces with Internet Money, Jaxx released “Domino,” his 2021 out-of-this-world single that achieved more praise than he had ever seen before.

 Friends Reunion Generates 7.4 Billion Engagements, Talkwalker Says

The Friends Reunion show, slated to start streaming on HBO Max, has generated 2.8 billion mentions and 7.4 billion engagements in the last week alone, according to international enterprise listening company Talkwalker.

The most mentioned celebrity appearances in the forthcoming reunion show include BTS, Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga.

Demographically it’s almost an even split of who’s talking about the show with 50.3 percent female and 49.7 percent male, Talkwalker reported.

Interestingly, self-described artists are making up 12 percent of the conversation, with

18-24s the largest cohort discussing the reunion online at 48.4 percent of the total, followed by 25-34s at 41.9 percent. So Gen-Z is talking about this more than Millennials, who grew up with the show.

The most excited fanbase for the reunion, as for many things, is Korean super-group BTS. Their posts about their appearance on the show are generating the most engagement.

As a fun aside, the phrase “the one where they” has seen 15K mentions, a huge uptick, over the last month, and in the last week especially, as fans prepare for the show.

The 1975 recently dropped their official music video for “TooTimeTooTimeTooTime.”

The English rock band’s video consists of various faces of just regular, average day people as they sing along and dance to the beat of the song. An unlimited amount of smiles are seen through everyone’s expressions in the entire video.

An even greater moment is when the lead singer, Matthew Healy, interacts with the guest stars as it personalizes the music video. He sings and dances with the people and one can definitely tell how much happier that makes the guests featured.

The song’s upbeat vibe has a lot of The 1975’s fan base claiming that their music is changing–moving away from their original type of music from the past.
