Rising, acclaimed pop sensation JORDY today unveiled his ethereal, stripped-back new single “i get high,” available now on all streaming platforms. Pairing vulnerable, poignant lyricism with a stunning vocal range, the new song is an introspective reflection on anxiety, vices, and mediating the two. Co-written with frequent collaborator Drew Polovick, “i get high” continues to underscore JORDY’s conversational, raw, and diaristic lyrical style that has resonated with fans nationwide. The accompanying music video is also out today and available to watch HERE. Directed by Lily Judge, the visual features a powerful performance from the artist, complete with an Autumn-ready backdrop.

Regarding the new track, JORDY has the following message to share with his fans:

“I think everyone has some sort of vice. In good times or bad, it’s hard not to indulge whether in celebration or solitude. I have been using cannabis for a long time for medicinal purposes, but also recreational ones. Sometimes to ease anxiety, or sometimes when I go out socially; sometimes to help me sleep through the night, or sometimes to celebrate a milestone. I’ve never considered my relationship with marijuana unhealthy, but I can’t help but analyze and wonder if it’s a temporary fulfillment of an empty void; I am still in the process of figuring that out. My goal with my music is always to be upfront and honest, and this song is truly a reflection of that. It’s simply my truth. And if it’s mine, it’s probably someone else’s too. Whether it’s taking a hit or having a drink, going on dates or a casual hookup, we all something we turn to help us feel a bit more or feel a bit less. But my overall goal with this song is to help people feel a little more heard and understood.” – JORDY

In support of “i get high” and his slew of new singles, JORDY will be playing a series of special headline shows in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles throughout the late fall and winter. This weekend, he will also head to Hawaii to headline Honolulu Pride Festival on Sunday, 10/16. A full itinerary of dates can be found below, with all tickets available on JORDYMusic.com.

JORDY is also in the studio working on his much-anticipated sophomore project, with more details to be revealed soon.

About JORDY:

Drawing inspiration from pop staples such as The Spice Girls, Michelle Branch, Avril Lavigne, and contemporaries such as Sam Smith, Troye Sivan, and Lauv, JORDY’s songs blend the glimmering, bouncy 90s pop sound with sincere, heartfelt songwriting. He unveiled his debut album Mind Games in November 2021, along with a companion acoustic EP in February, and Pride anthem “Dry Spell” earlier this summer, which Teen Vogue hailed “a bright new single made for the dance floor,” while Billboard crowned it “one of his best produced tracks to date.” Furthermore, Shondaland lauded the song “a drop-everything-and-dance-delight.” Afterwards, he shared the bubbly earworm “IDK SH!T,” chronicling the challenges of young adulthood in his twenties. V Magazine praised its “head-bopping beat and refreshingly honest lyrics,” along with The Huffington Post calling it “the perfect anthem for 20-somethings a track designed for maximum volume.” In tandem with the latter single’s release, JORDY made his hometown debut at Lollapalooza over the summer, playing the T-Mobile mainstage to a high-spirited crowd. In 2022, he also hit the festival circuit at BottleRock Napa Valley, headlined Washashore Festival (Provincetown, MA), and played a slew of Pride performances all across the U.S.

JORDY’s heart-on-his-sleeve approach to modern pop music has resulted in 100M+ career streams, sold out shows across the U.S., and a devoted following on TikTok that started with his dance-pop hit “Long Distance” that went viral on the platform in 2021. A relatable song about loneliness and the struggles of long distance relationships during the Covid-19 pandemic, JORDY delivered a stellar performance of the track during his national television debut on The TODAY Show, and earlier this year, he nabbed a nomination at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in the “Social Star” category.

JORDY – IDK SH!T

JORDY RELEASES NEW SINGLE IDK SH!T AHEAD OF LOLLAPALOOZA DEBUT THIS WEEKEND

LISTEN HERE | WATCH THE COMPANION MUSIC VIDEO TO FIND OUT WHICH JORDY ARE YOU?

Rising pop artist JORDY has released his new single IDK SH!T, available now on all streaming platforms. Chronicling the challenges of young adulthood during his twenties, the offering is a bubbly, diaristic pop track showcasing JORDY‘s impressive falsetto and knack at crafting anthemic hooks. Produced by frequent collaborator Drew Polovick, the song arrives just in time for JORDY‘s hometown debut at Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago this weekend, where he will be playing two performances on Thursday, 7/28 (6:30 pm @ Bud Light Seltzer Stage) and Friday, 7/29 (12:45 pm @ T-Mobile Stage). The accompanying IDK SH!T music video is also out today. Directed by Queerty Award-winning filmmaker Assaad Yacoub, it features various JORDY characters on a dating show, prompting fans to ask, Which JORDY are you?

I remember being a kid and thinking about what it would be like to be an adult: The freedoms, the knowledge, and the experience. Everything about it sounded so cool, but here we are, three years away from turning 30 and I still feel like a child, JORDY explained about the song’s inspiration. I feel like life lately has been cycles of calling my parents begging for answers: How do taxes work? How do you jump start a car? Should I be further ahead in my career? How do I find love? The list goes on, but sometimes, they don’t even have the answers. I want to normalize this feeling of not having it together because truthfully, nobody fully does. It’s important to remember that in moments when you’re being hard on yourself, he added.

Mining inspiration from pop staples such as The Spice Girls, Michelle Branch, Avril Lavigne, and contemporaries such as Troye Sivan and Lauv, JORDY‘s songs blend the glimmering, bouncy 90s pop sound with sincere, vulnerable, and conversational songwriting. He unveiled his debut album Mind Games in November 2021, along with a companion acoustic EP in February, and Pride anthem Dry Spell earlier this summer, which Teen Vogue called a bright new single made for the dance floor, while Billboard lauded it one of his best produced tracks to date.

JORDY‘s heart-on-his-sleeve approach to modern pop music has resonated with fans nationwide, resulting in 100M+ career streams, sold out shows across the U.S., and a devoted following on TikTok with his 2021 dance-pop hit Long Distance that went viral on the platform in 2021. Regard × Years & Years – Hallucination

Clocking over 5 million streams, Regard‘s latest single “HALLUCINATION” with pop royalty Years & Years is climbing the charts globally. The pair released the official music video for the track, honing in a dystopian era.  Watch the video HERE.

In a darkened room lit only by eccentric characters, a dance competition takes place, with evident inspiration coming from the likes of the 1969 Sydney Pollack film, They Shoot Horses Don’t They, Squid Game, and Black Mirror. The music video showcases a cut-throat survival game, one with Regard as the puppet master and Years & Years striving to survive, plagued by intense competitiveness.

Complete with contemporary choreography, extravagant fashion and costumes, and a tense storyline, the video is a perfect contradiction to the ‘80s inspired synth-pop dance record.

Speaking about the video, director Sophia Ray says: “The concept for the video was inspired by the 1969 Sydney Pollack film They Shoot Horses Don’t They, we wanted to take the themes from this cult classic and then give the video our own creative spin on them. Setting it in a contemporary, perplexing, dystopian space. The video places Olly Alexander, as an apprehensive contestant, at the center of a ‘Dance-to-the-Death’ endurance marathon, where he has to sweat, pant, dive, and dance his way to an exhausted victory (driven by Meshach Henry’s trailblazing choreography). Regard, all the while, being a mysteriously sinister driving force behind-the-scenes of this dark competition.”

With nominations for a BRIT Award, American Music Award, and iHeart Radio Awards under his belt, the new single—and Regard‘s first release of 2022—is yet another example of the powerhouse producer’s versatility as he experiments with themes of 80s disco and synth-pop. The collaboration with Years & Years adds to his impressive record of collaborators including RAYE, Troye Sivan, Tate McRae, and more recently Kwabs on their single “Signals,” marking the singer’s first release since 2015.

About Regard

It was by accident that REGARD found his stage name. The word, “regardé,” came to the DJ during French class in high school. “To see” became the core behind Regard’s music. “When I perform,” he says, “I look at the people and how they feel the music.” For REGARD, his deep house mixes consist not only of sound, but also of sight. Performance is a reciprocal and intimate relationship between the DJ and the audience. Kosovan DJ and producer REGARD garnered global attention with his debut single “Ride It” which became an international hit, taking the internet and TikTok by storm and quickly followed it up with his second hit single and BRIT nominated “Secrets” featuring South London singer RAYE. He has gone on to achieve over 10X top 10 single chart placements globally. In the UK, “Ride It” has sold over 1 million records to date (2x Platinum), while “Secrets” was recently certified Platinum.

Aidan Bissett – Get Dumped

Aidan Bissett returns with an introspective, headbanging, feel-good anthem for anyone who’s ever been dumped. Listen to Dumped, which he co-produced with Ryan Daly (Fitz and the Tantrums, Adam Lambert, Cyn), HERE. After writing the guitar-driven break-up song, Bissett took to TikTok to explain how the track came together in this tongue-in-cheek clip.

Getting dumped is the worst feeling in the world, but screaming this song will make you feel a whole lot better, says Aidan Bissett. The song is about learning that you are better off on your own and that it’s okay to be alone.

Director Brooke James (Troye Sivan) matches the energy of Bissett’s performance with the vibrant, kinetic official video for Dumped. Holed up in a typical teen bedroom, Bissett thoughtfully unpacks his heartbreak on the verses, then rages with his guitar on the scream-along chorus as the camera spins and zooms with equal frenzy. View the video HERE.

Dumped is the follow-up to So High which Euphoria praised as a certified summer bop this song demands to be played after dark either by the pool or the beach with a fire roaring nearby and drinks being passed around among friends. The Honey Pop declared, Aidan Bissett is an artist that everyone needs to be paying attention to. We have a feeling this is only the beginning of his genius artistry.

Born in Florida, Bissett was raised on classic rock bands like Led Zeppelin and AC/DC. He moved to Oregon with his family when he was five and started playing electric guitar in second grade. When his family moved back to Florida, he began teaching himself to produce his own music. Just a year ago, Bissett released his first single,Different, which immediately gained traction online.

As he amassed a sizable following on TikTok, he next put out Worst Girls of All Time, an anti-love-song spiked with moody guitar riffs that landed on Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlist, and More Than Friends. Written, recorded, and produced entirely by Bissett, the songs earned him major buzz and landed the 18-year-old a deal with Capitol Records before he had even graduated from high school. Combined global streams of Bissett’s first three tracks and his Capital debut single, Communication are nearing 11 million.

Topic × Bebe Rexha Release Chain My Heart

Topic and Bebe Rexha team up on the infectious new single “Chain My Heart,” which captures how, paradoxically, surrendering to love can bring the ultimate freedom. Bebe’s evocative, rapid-fire vocal delivery and Topic’s darkly melodic production are an intoxicating combination on the track, which was released today by Astralwerks.

Co-collaborator and NYC-native Bebe Rexha explains, “’Chain My Heart’ is about finding somebody that truly captivates your heart, and not wanting to let them go. I had a great time working together with Topic, he is very talented, and I am so excited for everyone to hear this song!”

Topic adds, “When creating ‘Chain My Heart,’ we noticed relatively early on that the song needed a strong woman, who could convey a certain edginess with her voice. With some melodies you directly imagine the person you want on the track in the process. Bebe Rexha was the one who struck our minds instantly. Vocally, she has exactly the attitude that the song needs. You can hear that especially in the pre-chorus.”

“Chain My Heart” comes on the heels of the release of Bebe’s Better Mistakes – the sophomore album from the Diamond-selling, two-time GRAMMY® nominee – and Topic’s collaboration with ATB andA7S, “Your Love (9pm). The acclaimed producer recently dropped a remix of “You,” giving the Regard + Troye Sivan + Tate McRae single a sultry, summery club vibe. His exuberant, soulful remix of Moby’s new version of “Natural Blues” ft. Gregory Porter & Amythyst Kiah can be heard HERE. Topic and A7S were nominated for a Billboard Music Award for Top Dance/Electronic Song for their 2020 hit,  “Breaking Me,” which has racked up more than 1.7 billion combined streams worldwide.
