ABOUT ROLE MODEL

Rather than presenting some unobtainable ideal, ROLE MODEL – a.k.a. Tucker Pillsbury – finds a perfect hybrid of observant hip-hop, clever pop, and cinematic alternative inside of his own personality flaws, cracks, and imperfections. With nearly 70 million total streams by 2020 and acclaim from i-D, HIGHSNOBIETY, Complex, and more, this approach consistently endears him to fans and tastemakers alike. Born and raised in Portland, ME, Tucker originally planned on pursuing a career in filmmaking, but it was during his freshman year at a film school in Pittsburgh where he discovered his passion for music. He began creating music with two of his friends in his dorm room, started watching YouTube tutorials on how to record and master his own music using Logic, writing his own songs and learning everything he could. Tucker always loved to write and spent a lot of time developing a signature style on his own. In 2017, he uploaded “Cocaine Babe” to Soundcloud and ignited a palpable buzz. “Girl In New York” organically landed on Spotify’s coveted New Music Friday, and he caught the attention of Benny Blanco and Interscope Records. Early on, the late Mac Miller even reached out and expressed admiration for his music, encouraging him to keep going. ROLE MODEL’s 2019 EP, oh, how perfect, popped off powered by tracks like “hello!” (13.million Spotify streams), “that’s just how it goes” (8.8 million Spotify streams), and “notice me” [feat. BENEE] (7.5 million Spotify streams). Recently, ROLE MODEL released hremixis sophomore project entitled our little angel, which  includes previously released singles “going out” (Click HERE to watch), “blind” (Click HERE to watch), and “for the people in the back” (Click HERE to watch).

Manic, available HERE, now includes additional exclusive tracks “i’m not mad” and “wipe your tears,” plus an assortment of stripped, acoustic and remix versions of songs from the original 16-track album and “Be Kind,” her collaboration with Marshmello, which has amassed nearly 600 million combined global streams. See below for track listing.

Halsey has been named as one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People of 2020. Read the tribute that BTS penned to her HERE. She performed during the first-ever TIME 100 primetime television event, which aired last week. On November 10, Halsey will publish her first volume of poetry, I Would Leave Me If I Could. Further details are available HERE. Halsey is nominated for a Billboard Music award in the Top Female Artist category. She and Kelsea Ballerini received a CMT Music Awards nod for Performance of the Year for “Graveyard.” Listen for Halsey’s feature on “Forget Me Too,” which appears on Machine Gun Kelly’s new album, Ticket to My Downfall.

In her career to date, Halsey has surpassed 50 million RIAA-certified units across albums, singles and features. Manic was the first album of 2020 to be certified Platinum in the U.S. It debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Current Albums chart and has been certified Platinum in numerous other countries also. Manic has racked up 10 billion combined global streams and sold nearly five million adjusted albums thus far. It contains the 7x Platinum “Without Me” – the most-played song of 2019 at U.S. radio and the longest-running Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hit by a female artist of this century – and the Platinum hits “Graveyard” and “You Should Be Sad.” In August, she celebrated the fifth anniversary of her debut album by releasing her first-ever live album, BADLANDS (Live from Webster Hall).

She continues to push creative boundaries, expanding her influence and impact beyond music. After making her film debut in the animated 2018 summer movie Teen Titans GO! as the voice of Wonder Woman, she was seen in A Star is Born, starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga. Halsey continues to use her voice to speak up for causes she passionately believes in, including disenfranchised youth, women’s rights, mental health and the LGBTQ community. GLAAD honored her in 2018 as “Outstanding Music Artist.” In 2019, she won an AMA, the Hal David Starlight Award, presented by the Songwriters Hall of Fame, a VMA and two Teen Choice Awards.

ILLENIUM RELEASES ASCEND REMIXES ALBUM TODAY FEATURING TIËSTO, TRAVIS BARKER, 3LAU, ALAN WALKER, & MORE

“GOOD THINGS FALL APART” WITH JON BELLION CERTIFIED PLATINUM

LISTEN HERE

The platinum-certified Denver-based artist Nick Miller—known professionally as ILLENIUM—reenergizes his chart-topping third full-length album, ASCEND, with 24 remixes by an all-star cast of collaborators and remixers. For the project, he enlisted everyone from Snakehips, Breathe Carolina, Blanke, and Ryan Hemsworth to Tiësto, Travis Barker, 3LAU, Slander, and William Black.

Last week, he previewed the project by sharing “In Your Arms” (with X Ambassadors) [Alan Walker Remix]. Adding another dimension, Walker blessed the song with bursts of energy and dancefloor-ready gloss. ASCEND continues to reach new benchmarks. “Good Things Fall Apart” with Jon Bellion just achieved platinum status as certified by the RIAA. Meanwhile, total album streams near the 1 billion-mark, eclipsing 946 million streams and counting thus far. Additionally, he recently dropped “In Your Arms” (with X Ambassadors) – Stripped. Breaking the song down to its essence, EDM.com called it, “a poignant rework of the original track that displays the classically-trained side of both artists,” while Billboard posited, “at the core of the original lies a full-fledged wedding anthem.” Dancing Astronaut summed it up best as “heartfelt.”

Making chart moves again, his recent collaboration with Excision, “Feel Something” [feat. I Prevail], soared to the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Chart, marking his third Top 10 entry. In addition, the track has posted up over 4 million Spotify streams and counting. ILLENIUM has quietly blossomed into one of the biggest musical forces in the world. As of 2020, his cumulative streams eclipse 2 billion in total as he regularly averages 20 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

Along with “Made in France,” Carte Blanche features colossal hits like “Loco Contigo” with J Balvin & Tyga (one of Spotify’s most streamed songs of 2019), the triple-platinum single “Taki Taki” ft. Selena Gomez, Ozuna & Cardi B (DJ Snake’s second global #1 record), “Enzo” (a collaboration with Sheck Wes, featuring Offset, 21 Savage & Gucci Mane), the reggaeton powerhouse “Fuego” (with Sean Paul & Anitta ft.
