DJ SNAKE × FUTURE

DJ SNAKE TAPS FUTURE FOR SPECIAL NEW VERSION OF “U ARE MY HIGH”

Multi-platinum producer DJ Snake has recruited Future for a new version of “U Are My High” available via Interscope Records. Adding another dimension to this intoxicating banger, DJ Snake breathes fresh fire into the track. With a sample from iconic The Gap Band, the production instantly captivates as Future pulls up with an otherworldly verse and entrancing melody, blasting off with the hook. Watch the visualizer.

Earlier this summer, DJ Snake dropped “U Are My High” in its original incarnation “You Are My High.” Emerging as one of the year’s most viral dance songs, the latter exploded on TikTok, appearing in over 2.5 million user videos and tallying a staggering 4 billion-plus views. Meanwhile, it has cracked 100 million streams, posting up north of 300K streams daily on Spotify alone. It also continues a history of collaboration between these two superstars, dating back to DJ Snake’s historic headlining set at Ultra Miami 2017 when Future turned up as a surprise guest.

The most listened to French artist in the world, DJ Snake has also announced an exceptional hometown show in a place very symbolic to him: PSG’s Parc des Princes Stadium on June 11, 2022. A football fan and huge supporter of Paris-Saint-Germain, he will be the first to bring concerts to life in this legendary venue, which has not hosted a musical event for over 10 years. Tickets are on sale for the general public starting Friday, December 3rd at 10AM French local time (CET).

Watch the teaser video.

This fall, Snake continues to deliver unforgettable live performances across North America. Beyond holding it down with his residency at Zouk in Las Vegas, NV, he appears at festivals such as Decadence Festival in Denver and Phoenix on December 30, and finally Lights All Night Festival in Dallas, TX to ring in the New Year on December 31. Zhu × John the Blind – Monster

Zhu unveils new single, Monster, in collaboration with John the Blind.

Grammy-nominated artist Zhu teams up with acclaimed singer/songwriter/producer John The Blind on the new single, Monster, released today via Astralwerks. A stunning departure from Zhu’s dusky signature sound, the track is a sparkling, straight-up celebration of unconditional love.

“I fell in love when you recognized my darkness/Made friends with all my monsters/And you still wanna stay, still wanna stay,” sings John, who takes the lead on vocals, with harmonies and a soulful falsetto closing from Zhu. The two artists produced and performed the track together, with Zhu on bass and John on guitar.

“I wanted to create a summer anthem for the kids who are finally able to go out,” says Zhu.

John The Blind – also known as John Ryan – released isolation, his first full-length album, earlier this year. His vocals have been heard on tracks by Pitbull, Brass Knuckles, and DJ Snake. A multi-Platinum songwriter and producer, he is also known for his work with One Direction, Maroon 5, John Legend, and others.

Tickets go on sale today for Zhu’s October 10 and 11 shows at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre and his November 24 and 26 dates at Avant Gardner in Brooklyn. Zhu will perform a unique show each night. Shiba San will join as a special guest on all dates. Zhu will also be performing at numerous 2021 festivals, including ARC, III Points, Electric Daisy Carnival, and Outside Lands.

In May, ZHU played an unprecedented sold-out, six-night run at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO. Westword said, “dancing came easy to the beats of Zhu, who is as ultra-cool as musicians get and wildly talented, bringing in house music that could score a buzzed drive down Sunset Boulevard.” EDM.com praised his “epic, snow-covered return to Red Rocks,” while HITS Daily Double praised Zhu’s performance as “equal parts mesmerizing and invigorating – a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”

Fresh off the release of his third studio album, Dreamland 2021, Zhu is featured on the cover of the July issue of DJ Mag. Hailing Dreamland 2021 as among the “50 Best Albums of 2021 So Far,” Billboard said, “oscillating between fuzzy, pulsing house (Sweet Like Honey) and spooky, ultra-low BPM, piano-laden meanders through the underworld (I Need That) the sonics are varied but the ambiance is consistently shadowy, falling also into the aural lineage of Zhu’s two previous LPs.” The Los Angeles Times observed, “it’s a record about profoundly missing the club and the shot at connection it offers.”

In an interview with the Times’ August Brown, Zhu talks about the album, the return to live entertainment and his experience as one of the most prominent Asian American musicians working today.

Alongside his music, Zhu has passionately pursued his interest in fashion, playing an essential part in the design of his fashion-forward merch. He is dropping new merchandise from his highly anticipated SUMMER OF DREAMLAND series each Thursday at 10:00 AM PT. The collection includes slides, kimonos, a sequined bomber, a tactical vest and a wrench pendant in addition to bucket hats, t-shirts, socks and hoodies – all in Zhu’s trademark colors, black and orange.

MAJOR LAZER × GUAYNAA – DIPLOMÀTICO

Major Lazer debut the music video for their new Spanish-language track “Diplomàtico,” featuring Latin music’s hottest rising superstar, Guaynaa–watch here. The single was released Thursday, March 4, across all digital streaming and retail platforms. In addition, the track will be featured on Music Is The Weapon (Reloaded), out March 26. The deluxe edition of the group’s latest album will feature four new tracks.

The music video, directed by Sam Sulam and filmed in Miami, FL is a comedic and cinematic masterpiece that will have fans laughing from beginning to end, the video truly captures the fun-loving personalities of Diplo, Walshy Fire, Ape Drums and of course, Guaynaa, in this hilarious story line. Filmed at the famous Gulfstream Park, the video follows the wild ride of what happens when a wealthy horse owner, portrayed by Walshy Fire, finds out that his premiere jockey, Diplo, is missing. He has no choice but to substitute his stable boy, Guaynaa to ride in the big race.

This year it’s been about exploring the different sides of myself and I’m enjoying it, creating different genres of music. This song is very different from what I have done recently. It is upbeat and fun. I think my fans are going to enjoy what Major Lazor and I crafted,” said Guaynaa.

Since exploding onto the scene with his global hit, “Rebota” in 2018, Puerto Rican artist Guaynaa has been an undeniable force in Latin music. The Latin GRAMMY nominated artist has captivated fans across the globe with his single “Se Te Nota,” alongside Lele Pons, which garnered more than 272 million views on its video. He also released a collaboration with Sebastian Yatra, “Chica Ideal,” who’s video accumulated over 134 million views. Plus, his collaboration with K-POP sensation Chung Ha on “Demente,” is the first time a K-POP star sings in Spanish. Lastly, his newest single and video “Monterrey” is available now on all streaming platforms.

It’s no secret that Major Lazer have been pioneers in bringing together the worlds of EDM and Latin music, their 2013 remix of their hit “Watch Out For This (Bumaye)” featuring Daddy Yankee became a global phenomenon and over the years the trio has followed up with incredible collaborations with the biggest names in Latin music such as J Balvin, Bad Bunny, and many more. On Friday, March 5, several of those memorable chart-topping Spanish-language tracks were bundled together with Diplomatico, available to stream collectively on Spotify.

Music Is The Weapon was released in October to critical acclaim. Coming five years after Peace Is The Mission and countless world tours, the album highlights the group’s thoroughly global approach. Music Is The Weapon includes songs in five languages and features collaborations with stars from around the globe including Nicki Minaj, J Balvin, Marcus Mumford, Khalid, Alessia Cara, Skip Marley, longtime collaborators Anitta and Busy Signal, New York-born Chilean artist Paloma Mami, Jamaican rising stars Sheensea and BEAM, Indian breakouts Nucleya and Rashmeet Kaur, and more.

Major Lazer is the global dance trio of Diplo, Walshy Fire and Ape Drums. Named for the group’s fictional figurehead, a one-armed Jamaican Zombie War commando, Major Lazer’s mission is to free the universe with music. The band has released three acclaimed albums, 2009’s Guns Don’t Kill People…Lazers Do, 2013’s Free The Universe and 2015’s Peace Is The Mission, featuring “Lean On” with DJ Snake and MØ—one of the most successful songs of all time.

The original track was released in April and has garnered over 8.7 million video and audio streams worldwide and has reached #15 on Alt Radio in the US and #2 in Canada. Billboard called REZZ and Grabbitz coming together “a match made in electronic heaven.”

Last week, REZZ received The JUNO Award for Electronic Album of the Year for her work on Beyond The Senses which was her first independent project released in 2019.

25-year-old Canadian DJ/producer Isabelle Rezazadeh AKA REZZ has racked up tens of millions of streams, sold out legendary venues and headlined top festivals around the world. She oozes originality and produces genre-bending electronic works, striking a sharp balance between bass-heavy and minimal tech compositions. Her first independent project- the adventurous Beyond The Senses EP – was released in 2019 and received praise from Alternative Press, SPIN and Billboard who called it “her most impactful project to date.” She graced the cover of Billboard’s 2019 Dance Issue and has been attributed as being at the forefront of the dance and rock music crossover. Already, 2020 has marked a banner year for the producer who released her first single through RCA Records “Someone Else.” Alternative Press praised the song upon its release, including it as the lead track in their weekly playlist. They called the video “another high point in REZZ’s canon,” saying, “…the song evokes a sinister groove that will appeal to dance music devotees as well as industrial rivetheads…”

Praised by the likes of Rolling Stone and Billboard, while notching over 80 million streams to date, Grabbitz has allotted critical praise and adoration from a wide audience alike. He’s shown his voice and music have evolved in real time from his beginnings in dance music, to a more alternative, genre-less hybrid. He has collaborated with heavy hitters like deadmau5, Pendulum, NGHTMRE and now REZZ. Grabbitz is primed to have an unmistakable voice in the electronic world and beyond.

Masked by his iconic balaclava on stage, MALAA’s identity remains unknown. Though with over a dozen singles and EP’s under Tchami’s Confession label, MALAA has made his presence known in the underground dance music community.
