Vietnam Kratom Guide

Your guide to the diverse strains and effects of Vietnam Kratom.

Vietnam kratom is not a new strain. It has been growing in the fertile Vietnam areas for years now. But it has gained popularity recently with its impressive range in strains and effects. From pain relief to energizing boosts, Vietnam kratom does it all. You can find Vietnam kratom and all its substrains online at sites like https://www.authentickratom.com/. If you are interested in Vietnam kratom, you are in the right place to learn about and love Vietnam kratom strains!

Introduction to Vietnam Kratom

Vietnam kratom is considered to be a unique strain. It is because the areas where Vietnam kratom grows are favorable to the kratom. The most common areas where Vietnam kratom grows are An Giang Province and the Mekong River. The area along the Mekong River is rich in minerals. Due to this, the quality of Vietnam kratom is very high, as is the popularity of the strain.

Vietnam kratom is unique because of where it grows. Soil rich in minerals is favorable for the growth of kratom. Such soil produces high-quality kratom. In addition, Vietnamese farmers are experienced in what they do. They know when to harvest and how to harvest. Because of the enhanced harvesting expertise, the quality of Vietnam kratom is notable in many ways. One example is the unique aroma of Vietnam kratom and the pronounced scent makes it better than other strains.

Vietnam Kratom Strains

Vietnam kratom is popular to introduce a new substrain. Before, there were only three vein colors. But now, a fourth vein color; yellow vein, has also been introduced in the market.

So, in total, Vietnam kratom has four strains. These strains are, Red Vietnam Kratom, White Vietnam Kratom, Green Vietnam Kratom, and Yellow Vietnam Kratom.

Red Vietnam Kratom

Red vein Vietnam kratom is one of the most powerful Vietnam strains. This strain has red veins on the kratom leaves. The red veins mean that they have been matured properly. The more mature a kratom strain, the more powerful it is.

Even though red Vietnam kratom is powerful but it is milder than other kratom strains. The effects of Vietnam kratom are more towards relaxation and enhancing your mood. They don’t have intense effects like sedation. That’s also the case with red vein Vietnam kratom.

Effects of Red Vietnam

Red Vietnam kratom is popular for its relaxing effects. It is a mature strain, so its relaxing properties are high as well. Following are the effects that you can expect while using red Vietnam kratom:

  • Red Vietnam kratom relaxes your body and mind. It reduces the symptoms of stress.
  • It gives a hint of energy to the user’s body. You feel energized and motivated after using red Vietnam kratom.
  • Red Vietnam kratom clears your mind and makes you feel happier and better.
  • Like other red vein strains, red Vietnam is a pain reliever. The pain-relieving properties of red Vietnam aren’t as prominent as other strains. But its analgesic effects are considerably high.
  • Red Vietnam kratom provides you with instant effects. You don’t have to wait for hours to experience its effects.

White Vietnam Kratom

White vein Vietnam kratom is famous for its energizing properties. But, it is not a good strain for new users as their first strain. White Vietnam kratom is the most potent among the other Vietnam strains so, people who don’t have experience with kratom shouldn’t use it as a first try.

Effects of White Vietnam

People use white Vietnam kratom to drive away fatigue and laziness. It is a great alternative to your morning coffee as it wakes you up more than a coffee or tea ever would. Here are the common effects of white vein Vietnam kratom:

  • White Vietnam kratom energizes you and enhances your focus
  • White Vietnam kratom reduces the symptoms of anxiety and depression
  • It releases the feel-good chemicals in your body and makes you feel confident

Green Vietnam Kratom

Green Vietnam kratom is the most popular Vietnam strain. Its popularity is due to its pleasant effects. It is a potent strain but not as intense as other kratom strains. Even a light dosage of green Vietnam kratom provides long-lasting and relaxing effects.

Effects of Green Vietnam

Green Vietnam kratom’s effects are a mixture of red and white Vietnam kratom. It has the following effects:

  • Green Vietnam kratom is a pain reliever without any sedative effects so it can be used during the day
  • It provides stimulation which is good after a long and tiring day.
  • It boosts your energy and increases your ability to perform every task

Yellow Vietnam Kratom

Yellow Vietnam kratom is a unique strain; its different color is because of the region where it grows. Yellow Vietnam has a sweet taste which makes it better for users to consume it.

Effects of Yellow Vietnam

Yellow Vietnam has the following effects:

  • Yellow Vietnam is a great antidepressant and mood enhancer
  • It relaxes your body and mind while increasing your focus
  • Yellow Vietnam takes away any kind of a pain but it doesn’t sedate you

Conclusion

Vietnam kratom is unique for its pleasant effects, rich quality, and unique substrain. It differs from other strains in its taste as well. The sweet taste makes it easier for the users to consume it.

With so many benefits and varieties to Vietnam kratom, which strain will you try next?

COVID-19’s Impact on Eating Habits

Amidst the pandemic, a new wave of consumer habits have been ushered in and more than ever, people are motivated to live a healthier lifestyle, eating clean-label, natural and organic foods at home.

According to a recent report from Accenture, 77% of shoppers post-COVID said they will be opting for healthier, clean label meals, versus only 30% in December 2019. According to Kantar’s COVID-19 Barometer, more than 50% of people claim to be eating more healthily and trying new recipes. Saffron Road, a clean-label, natural and organic leader in frozen entrees that focuses on using real, whole ingredients, is already seeing this shift.

According to SPINS NPI Index for the MULO channel, Saffron Road frozen entrée sales have increased 74.9% over the last 12 weeks ending 5/17/20, which is a 50% greater increase than any other natural products (NPI) brand’s growth.

CEO and founder Adnan Durrani, a 30+ year pioneer in the natural and organics food industry (Vermont Pure Water, Stonyfield Yogurt, Delicious Cookies), explains that in past crises, the default has been belly fillers and highly processed food, particularly in times of stress and financial uncertainty. However, due to the nature of the crisis, there’s been a shift towards healthier, cleaner options. And this won’t go away anytime soon as people continue to eat at home.

Barclays analyst Karen Short recently stated that they predict up to $118 billion in U.S. restaurant revenues will mega shift into consumer purchases of meals in grocery stores in the next 6 months.

Parkinsons and Medical Marijuana

Parkinson’s Foundation Hosts Its First-Ever Medical Marijuana and Parkinson’s Disease Conference

The Parkinson’s Foundation will host its first-ever conference focused on medical marijuana and Parkinson’s disease (PD) in Denver, CO, March 6-7, 2019.

The Parkinson’s Foundation is bringing together experts from across the globe to discuss the implications and recommendations of medical marijuana use for people with Parkinson’s,” said James Beck, PhD, chief scientific officer of the Parkinson’s Foundation. “Now that medical marijuana is legal in 31 states and in many other countries, people are equating access to efficacy. It is imperative that we address the clinical implications of medical marijuana use among people with PD.”

The goal of the conference is to bring together a diverse group of experts from academia, clinics, industry, government and the Parkinson’s community to establish a consensus on medical marijuana use in PD. The conference will address the potential benefits and risks of medical marijuana for people with PD, potential delivery methods, safety considerations, approval as a therapeutic for PD patients, and areas for more rigorous clinical research.

“Having worked as a clinician for the past decade in Colorado, a state at the forefront of medical marijuana use, it is clear that people with PD and their families are intensely interested in the potential of marijuana and cannabinoids in helping manage symptoms and other aspects of their disease,” said Benzi Kluger, MD, MS, associate professor of University of Colorado Hospital and co-chair of the conference. “To date, there is more hype than actual data to provide meaningful clinical information to patients with PD. There is a critical need to analyze existing data on medical marijuana and to set priorities for future research.” Moreover, some people are so convinced of the effects of cannabis on people with PD that they go as far as growing the seeds themselves as it’s proven cheaper than buying it from medical dispensaries. You can use this link to find out more about online seedbanks that ship to the USA if you’re interested in that.

Recent results from a survey conducted by the Parkinson’s Foundation and Northwestern University, a Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence, found that:

    • 80% of patients with PD have used cannabis
    • 23% of doctors received formal education on medical marijuana
  • 95% of neurologists have been asked to prescribe medical marijuana

People with PD and their physicians are looking to answer whether medical marijuana can help manage PD symptoms. Few clinical studies have enrolled people with PD to investigate the effects of medical marijuana on PD symptoms. There is currently no conclusive scientific research supporting the benefits of medical marijuana for PD, however, anecdotal evidence suggests that it may help manage Parkinson’s symptoms such as pain, sleep, appetite, nausea and anxiety.

“In order to move the field forward, we need to determine which cannabinoids are likely to be beneficial or harmful, whether people with PD are at risk from side effects, what we are hoping to treat, and how to conduct informative clinical trials,” said A. Jon Stoessl, MD, co-director of the Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health at the University of British Columbia, and co-chair of the conference.

The conference is invitation-only. In addition to Parkinson’s specialists, select Parkinson’s advocates living with PD will be invited to provide their perspective. The Foundation will publish suggested practices and areas for further research following the conference.

About Parkinson’s Disease
Affecting nearly one million Americans and 10 million worldwide, Parkinson’s disease is the second-most common neurodegenerative disease after Alzheimer’s and is the 14th-leading cause of death in the United States. It is associated with a progressive loss of motor control (e.g., shaking or tremor at rest and lack of facial expression), as well as non-motor symptoms (e.g., depression and anxiety). There is no cure for Parkinson’s and 60,000 new cases are diagnosed each year in the United States alone.

Sweden Turns Into World’s Largest Gourmet Restaurant

To highlight healthy and natural food available in nature, Sweden, together with four Swedish Michelin-starred chefs, is launching The Edible Country – a 100-million-acre-DIY gourmet restaurant. The restaurant, with a menu created from ingredients found in Swedish nature, is free of charge and open for reservations.

In this new global initiative, Sweden is showing the world how easy and accessible healthy food can be. The Edible Country consists of a nine-course menu that visitors can prepare and cook themselves – in the wild. It is co-created by Swedish Michelin-starred chefs Titti Qvarnström, Niklas Ekstedt, Jacob Holmström and Anton Bjuhr.

As part of the initiative, seven handmade wooden tables have been placed across the country with ready-to-use kitchen kits and cooking tools. The tables are bookable between May and September through visitsweden.com/ediblecountry or bookatable.co.uk/theediblecountry. And if they are fully booked, it is still possible to visit The Edible Country and prepare the dishes at any other preferred location in Swedish nature.

“Sweden is 96 percent uninhabited and yet easily accessible for everyone. Our nature is filled with edible ingredients and we want to invite the world to enjoy them, and at the same time wind down in nature like us Swedes do. By using our star chefs’ menu, this new and innovative DIY culinary experience makes it possible for visitors to explore and transform nature into gourmet food themselves,” says Jennie Skogsborn Missuna, Chief Experience Officer at Visit Sweden.

Highly processed foods have become everyday food for people all over the world, with healthy alternatives often perceived as complicated and inaccessible. With The Edible Country, Sweden proves how natural and healthy food can be just as tasty and easy to make as anything else, with ingredients available in nature.

“For me, Swedish nature has always been my biggest source of inspiration when cooking. The hours I have spent in the forest have turned into the realization that cooking outdoors, with the ingredients right in front of me, is the core of Swedish cuisine. The Edible Country is a symbol of how easy, close and uncomplicated food can and should be,” says Niklas Ekstedt.

The dishes on the menu vary depending on the season, so the ingredients can be found in nature almost all year round. Among the dishes is forest broth with poached perch and broiled herb butter, and freshly smoked char with chanterelles and wood sorrel. This and much more is found in The Edible Country, which is now open for reservations.

“At Bookatable we help diners find great restaurants to create memorable dining experiences, so we are absolutely delighted to help with this innovative idea. Discovering a new restaurant is always exciting, but getting to forage for food in Sweden’s beautiful countryside and then cook a dish created by a Michelin-starred chef is an opportunity not to be missed. My only advice would be to book up quickly!” says Michel Cassius, CEO Bookatable by Michelin.

Red Bull Cliff Diving

Steven LoBue earns first Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series victory since 2015 win in Bilbao.

The 33-year-old spun his way to a stunning victory at the second stop of the 2018 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series in Bilbao, Spain, earning top spot on the podium for the first time since his win in the very same location back in 2015. He was joined in the celebrations by reigning champion Jonathan Paredes of Mexico, who grabbed a much needed second place following a poor start in Texas.

LoBue’s fellow American David Colturi, who currently possesses the hardest dive, finished third. Six-time World Series champion Gary Hunt of England missed out on the podium for the third successive event; his longest run ever without a top three finish. 25,000 fans turned out to watch as the men displayed their art from 27m in rainy conditions beside the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.

After no victory in 16 competitions, the FINA world champion displayed the best performance of his forward 5 somersaults with ½ twist ever to score the highest note in an optional dive (135.15pts) and repeat his winning feat in the American’s new favourite location. Paredes also earned a new record score for an intermediate dive (100.80pts), which powered him into an early lead after two rounds, while record winner Hunt, who clearly still feels the handicap of his twisting mental block, had to lower his diving programme once more to land him in a mediocre 10th place in the Basque city.

With today’s win, the ‘spin master’ from Florida also took the overall World Series lead ahead of Czech’s Michal Navratiland Blake Aldridge from Great Britain after two of seven competitions in the World Series’ anniversary season. Defending champion Paredes makes up five ranks and sits in 5th place now, while his main contender from previous years, the ‘brilliant Brit’ Hunt, lingers in 11th position, one spot behind Colombian veteran Orlando Duque.

From the place where cliff diving is art and La Salve Bridge with thousands of enthusiastic fans along the river, the cliff diving elite travels on to the remote and pure islands of the Portuguese Azores. The top 24 athletes, men and women, will be back on the cliff-face to continue their fight for the 2018 King Kahekili trophy in two weeks’ time.

Quotes from the winners
Steven LoBue, USA
At the moment it’s less about the location, but more about the feeling. It’s awesome to repeat it in this location, just mentally I’m feeling really good right now. Had a great week of training leading up to this and the crowd pushes through the dodgy weather. It’s fantastic for the sport that so many people are capable of winning at any given point. We had a lot of great dives here today; especially with the weather it’s showing how mentally mature a lot of these guys are, really battling through those conditions. Super excited to come out on top!

Jonathan Paredes, MEX
This is what I wanted. I came to Bilbao with the plan to finish well. Bilbao is a very special place for me and after the bad result in Texas, I could show what I can do. It was a good fight with Steven and David and finally I placed 2nd.
A good result here in Bilbao motivates me to doing better in Portugal and the rest of the Series. Portugal is a special place with diving from the cliffs and it’s been good to me, so I know I can repeat that.
