THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA

  • Kandi’s sights are set on gaining EGOT status as a two-time Broadway producer, actress, singer, and now podcast host. With several business moves on the horizon, she’s trying to balance prioritizing family time with supporting her husband and business partner, Todd, in his journey to Hollywood as a filmmaker.
  • Kenya is in full boss mode. The hair-care mogul is taking her business to the next level by opening her very own hair salon. While Kenya is still having fun as she twirls her way back into the dating world, the one lingering issue is the finalizing of her divorce.
  • Shereé is stepping into her greatness after suffering public humiliation when her last relationship didn’t go as planned. But she didn’t let that get in the way of giving love a second chance with the new man in her life, Martell Holt. However, as she faces an unexpected health issue, she will have to shift all her focus. Will there be enough Shereé to go around?
  • Drew is taking her music career to new octaves by releasing her first album, pushing forward her acting and music career simultaneously while also working through her relationship with her husband, Ralph. But they strike the wrong chord in their marriage, and their divorce announcement leaves everyone shaken.
  • As Marlo continues to take on her role as “Munty,” she’s working with a life coach while raising teenagers who are ready for summer jobs and driving lessons. She also takes a dip in the dating pool while she looks for her next suitor—but not without the approval of her nephews.
  • Returning for her sophomore season, Sanya has no plans to slow down and has her sights set on expanding her business and family. Sanya and husband Aaron still have a full house of nine, all with their own set of challenges. As Sanya navigates the great expectations for her family, business, and more of herself, is she running a marathon with no end in sight?
  • Friend Monyetta is back in the mix playing matchmaker when she introduces Kenya to a new love interest.
  • Courtney joins this season as a friend. She’s a successful brand marketing expert and jewelry designer in Atlanta who has been friends with Shereé for many years. Courtney realizes her strong ties to this group when she finds out her long-lost cousin is Drew’s husband, Ralph. However, with friendships on the brink, accusations causing a fuss, and divorce news that’s all too much, will these women be able to channel positive vibes?

MEET THE HOUSEMATES

  • Fresh off their summer wedding, Jasmine (New York) and Silas (New York) Cooper have invited a group of friends—some old and some new—to vacation with them in Martha’s Vineyard and are now trying to figure things out in a house full of hot, successful urban professionals.
  • Amir Lancaster (Austin), new to Martha’s Vineyard and looking to learn about its Black history and connect to his roots, falls hard for a housemate.
  • Jordan Emanuel (New York) has been friends with Jasmine since their Playboy Bunny days and still loves to have a good time with her—maybe too good of a time for Silas’ tastes.
  • Preston Mitchum (Washington, DC), a Black queer activist who likes to speak his mind about a variety of things, is excited to spend time with his fraternity brother Silas and the group.
  • Fashionista Bria Fleming (Germany) is in a new relationship despite being surrounded by eligible men, but when she brings a different kind of houseguest to the rental, her friendships are sorely tested.
  • Alex Tyree (New York), who lives a life of intention without drinking and tries to persuade his friends to do the same, is juggling the advances of a housemate.
  • Quintessential party girl Shanice Henderson (Phoenix) is ready to turn-up this summer, but when she finds out someone in the house is spreading rumors about her past, things go left.
  • Jason Lyke (New York) is the counselor for the group but often finds himself at the center of the drama.
  • Discovering Martha’s Vineyard for the first time, Summer Marie Thomas (Los Angeles) intends to have the best possible time while getting her flirt on.
  • Nicholas “Nick” Arrington (New York), a self-proclaimed style savant who has an outfit ready for every outing, competes with Amir for a housemate’s affection.

PURPLE DISCO MACHINE AND KUNGS, 'Substitution' via 360 Magazine.

PURPLE DISCO MACHINE AND KUNGS

Two pillars of the present-day disco and funk worlds, Purple Disco Machine and French superstar Kungs team up for their newest release, “Substitution,” out now via Sony Music Germany/RCA Records. Kicking off the year with this surprising collaboration, the two internationally acclaimed producers prove they are the perfect party-starting pair with a single earmarked to be a dancefloor favorite. The two artist’s relationship flourished when they met at several festivals, with “Substitution”embodying that pure excitement and energy only found dancing next to boogie-loving punters. Combining their innate abilities to bring people together to party, the two teamed up and worked together in Purple Disco Machine’s Dresden studio to iron out the track rather than just sending files back and forth, ensuring an authentic disco hit.

It signals Purple Disco Machine’s first single since earning the 2023 Grammy for Best Remixed Recording for his remix of Lizzo’s “About Damn Time” and follows a tremendous few years of success for the electronic virtuoso. The prestigious producer has earned a reputation as a chart-topper with his collaborations with Sophie and the Giants in “Hypnotized” and “In The Dark,”while alsobringing out a catalogue of hits along the journey to the 2021 release of his sophomore album Exotica. Meanwhile, Kungs has earned his crown as the leader of the French electronic revolution with his 2022 album Club Azur proving his aptitude for making people move with airplay-chart hits such as  “Clap Your Hands” and “Never Going Home.” He embeds that dance floor flavor into “Substitution,” only complementing Purple Disco Machine’s own flair for groove-laden beats.

The pair exhibit a perfect musical marriage of Italo-disco influences to ensure dancefloor excellence and a lyricism that will sing away at your heart. In apropos fashion for both men, the single kicks off with enchanting piano chords and a signature funk-fueled bassline. Sampling the iconic 1984 hit “Big in Japan” from Alphaville, there is a sense of poise and class within the production while the two simultaneously exude a carefree charisma that permeates throughout “Substitution.” The disco-heat melds effortlessly with the soulful-pop hooks that will have you getting lost in the lust of the lyrics. However, while you’ll be singing along it’ll be evidently clear that the two artist’s roots come from the human experience found on the club dancefloor, as is conspicuous throughout the vibrant production.

ABOUT PURPLE DISCO MACHINE

A suitable title for an artist with over 1 billion streams and multiple European Airplay Chart toppers across his catalogue with hits such as “Hypnotized,” “Fireworks,” “Dopamine,” and “In The Dark.” Beyond the radio, he has proven to be a club favorite among DJs across the world as the #2 best-selling Beatport Artist of all time with dance floor heaters such as “Body Funk,” “Dished (Male Stripper),” “Playbox,” and “Devil In Me” feat. Duane Harden & Joe Killington. A Grammy Award winner with a remix of Lizzo’s “About Damn Time,”Purple Disco Machine has had huge success with multiple high-profile remixes for the likes of Dua Lipa, Mark Ronson, Foals, Calvin Harris, Sir Elton John & Britney Spears, Fatboy Slim, Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande, Diplo & SIDEPIECE and many more. Proving his passion for the intimacy of the dancefloor the acclaimed producer played more than 80 shows in 2022 across Europe, the United States, and South America, with festival appearances at Coachella, Tomorrowland, and Ushuaia Ibiza. The tune earned him the distinction of the most Shazamed French artist in the world in 2016 and has since achieved over 11.6 billion global streams and 13 certified Diamond awards. He has since gone on to prove himself as a unique talent with an ability for breathing emotion into dance-floor fillers that have exploded across the dance-pop spectrum. His 2022 album Club Azur surpassed 1.2 billion streams worldwide with ever-popular singles “Never Going Home,” “Clap Your Hands,” and “Lipstick” all providing flavorful funk and enticing pop vocals that went on to dominate airplay and singles charts across Europe. Beau Gravitte

Listen to Beau on 360 MAG podcast HERE.

Beau Gravitte, the impactful actor and performer, has a career that includes great appearances on television as well as broadway. Beau now acts as the Artistic Director for the Actors Studio.

The Actors Studio was founded in 1946 Elia Kazan, Cheryl Crawford, and Robert Lewis. The studio allowed for creative expression amongst artists, as well as well as opportunities for personal growth. Through the studio, artists were able to further hone in on their craft alongside counterparts interested in advancing in the arts as well. Beau Gravitte recounts his experience, “I didn’t really know much about the Actors Studio. I had just been in the city for a few years. I knew someone who was auditioning, and he had asked me to be his scene partner. I went to his prelim and they accepted both of us.”

The founders of the group set forth on their mission of redefining the artistry of acting. They showcased techniques and other helpful tips that would allow for an artist to express not only themselves but their truth onstage. Beau Gravitte was able to take part in these workshops after his entrance to the studio, “I would come in with my notebook, and I would just soak it in.” The workshop imprinted a great influence on American acting throughout the 20th century, and the practices used from the studio’s inscription continue to guide the newest generations of actors joining the scene.

Lee Strasberg, the founding Artistic Director for the studio has impacted the ways in which artists act and has been responsible for the creation of many exercises and techniques entitled “The Method”. Beau Gravitte’s entrance in the studio came after the passing Strasberg. During the run of Light in the Piazza on Broadway, Gravitte was asked to take on a role as part of the Board of Directors for the Actors Studio. Later he would be asked to become the Artistic Director. Gravitte stated, “We have a lot going on. My job is to let creative people do what they do. My job is to foster the creativity of the members. That’s the fun part of the job.” Gravitte joins 3 impactful co presidents, Ellen Burstyn, Alec Baldwin, Al Pacino.

Membership in the studio is free for all and actors were expected to complete auditions for a place in the studio. Once those auditions are completed, the actors are able to join part of the great studio. The Actors Studio is partnered with Pace University to offer a 3-year Masters in Fine Arts (MFA) Degree at their Actors Studio Drama School (ASDS).

The Studio has made TV appearances, including “Inside the Actors Studio” an award winning inside glimpse to the creative genius of many great artists.

Lynette Yiadom-Boakye | Guggenheim Bilbao

Celebrated for her paintings of timeless subjects in everyday moments of happiness, comradery, and solitude, Yiadom-Boakye’s lush oils portray fictitious characters rendered in loose brushwork set against dramatic backgrounds.

The artist’s parallel practice of writing is visible in the poetic and thought-provoking titles that accompany the artworks acting as companions rather than explanations of the works.

Details including clothing or costumes, footwear or the lack thereof dislocate the figures from any particular time or place.

The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao presents Lynette Yiadom-Boakye. No Twilight Too Mighty, an exhibition that shows for the first time a selection of over 70 paintings and charcoal drawings created between 2020 and 2023 by artist and writer Lynette Yiadom-Boakye. The show thus provides a rich opportunity to observe the continuum in the artist’s practice of creating evocative paintings that relate to the human experience. Yiadom-Boakye has recently returned to making charcoal drawings, which have a sense of immediacy given their intimate scale and air of improvisation. Seen in tandem with the paintings, the depth of the artist’s skillful handling of different media is evident.

JONATHAN HICKMAN AND VALERIO SCHITI, G.O.D.S. via 360 Magazine.

JONATHAN HICKMAN AND VALERIO SCHITI

First teased last year at San Diego Comic-Con, the time has finally come to reveal what writer Jonathan Hickman and artist Valerio Schiti have planned for Marvel Comics. This fall, the forces at the heart of the Marvel Universe will be stunningly reimagined and evolved in a new series from two of the industry’s most brilliant minds.

Over the last decade, Hickman has boldly transformed the worlds of the Fantastic Four, the Avengers, and the X-Men. G.O.D.S. will mark his most ambitious undertaking to date, dramatically reshaping Marvel’s pantheon of cosmic beings and the entities behind the very fabric of reality.

Known for his outstanding work on events like Empyre and A.X.E. Judgment Day, acclaimed artist Valerio Schiti will join Hickman to bring forth this epic journey into the unknown. Together, along with master colorist Marte Gracia, the team will build a new Marvel mythology overflowing with daring concepts, intricate systems, and fascinating new characters, some of whom have been in action long before your favorite Marvel heroes. At last year’s New York Comic Con, fans got a glimpse at the new cast in early concept art, but who are they really? And what catastrophe finally draws them out of the shadows?

Meet Wyn, a mysterious player in a war that exists outside of the orders we know and a vital member of an eons-old hierarchy that includes the omnipotent rulers of the universe such as Eternity, Infinity, and the Living Tribunal. After a fateful meeting with Doctor Strange, Wyn hints at something even bigger than the forces of good and evil, where the very building blocks of creation scheme and clash. It’s the beginning of a breathtaking epic at the crossroads of science and magic, one that will shatter our understanding and open our eyes to ideas beyond all that we perceive.

“When I came back to Marvel a few years ago, I wrote two series bibles. The first was House of X and the other one was G.O.D.S.,” Hickman explained. “To say that I’m excited to finally be able to share this story with everyone is a massive understatement. G.O.D.S. takes place in its own special corner of the Marvel Universe — in the cracks that lie at the intersection of science and magic — and revisits some characters and concepts that we’ve reimagined for a more modern, continuity-driven audience.”

“When I was given a chance to work with Jonathan on a new project, I accepted right away,” Schiti said. “Then I discovered that we would be reimagining gods in the Marvel Universe: how they work, what they do, and how they interact with each other and humanity. It’s the kind of project that makes you weak in the knees when you think about it. Luckily, Jonathan has the gift to make even the most complex stories surprisingly simple and understandable. His pitch inspired me almost immediately. The core of the story is so perfect and clear that it swept away my anxiety and turned it into a burst of creativity.”

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Valerio Schiti on this for the last year, and watching him bring this to life has been a total joy,” Hickman added. “G.O.D.S. is my favorite kind of Marvel comic: one that feels like something old, but pushes the Marvel Universe in an exciting new direction.”

“The thing that I love the most is how the story grows, starting on the streets of New York and then taking the characters and the readers on an incredible journey with the Marvel pantheon,” Valerio continued. “We will bring you to new places, show you what was hidden though the wrinkles of reality, introduce new characters, and put a fresh spin on old ones. You think you knew the Marvel Universe? Well, we will prove you wrong!”

Fans can experience the wonder that awaits in G.O.D.S. right now in a new trailer.

What happens when The Powers That Be meet The Natural Order of Things? You wouldn’t believe us if we told you. Be among the first to dive into this extraordinary new series on May 6 with a special preview in FREE COMIC BOOK DAY: AVENGERS/X-MEN #1. According to The National Weather Service, a “cold and dangerous winter storm” continued to wreak havoc in California from February 24th to 26th. For southern California mountain areas, a rare blizzard warning is issued to drivers to plan ahead to avoid dangerous roads. Under the influence of heavy snow, a steep grade on Interstate 5, the largest highway heading north out of Los Angeles, was still closed while other more southern points around the city were also shut down due to flooding, said by the California Department of Transportation.

California communities were flooded catastrophically by “atmospheric rivers”

In recent months, central California has experienced ongoing precipitation from “atmospheric rivers,” resulting in flooding and other severe consequences for millions of residents. As California experienced its 11th atmospheric river of the season, bringing more snow and rain, over 300,000 customers were left without power this week. The National Weather Service warns that these atmospheric rivers will continue to impact parts of California, bringing dangerous floods and record-breaking snowfall. The recent period of high winds and heavy precipitation, lasting until March 15th, caused disruptions to electric service, put a strain on levees, and led to evacuations and road closures. Atmospheric rivers are a common weather phenomenon on the west coast characterized by long streams of moisture-laden air flowing in the atmosphere, formed when water evaporates and is carried by the wind.

Julian Schlossberg was born in New York City, and as he grew became a trailblazer in the world of theater. He attended the prestigious New York University and after graduation he moved on to begin an incredible career. In an interview with Vaughn Lowery, Schlossberg recounts his youth and the spark he felt to enter show business stating, “I think I was kinda struck, at a young age, I just wanted to be part of it. I didn’t know what part, but I wanted to be part of show business.”

His career jump started with a role of assistant account representative at ABC. ABC was a newer network in the scene, and Schlossberg was able to take part in the budding network. Later, following his departure from ABC, Schlossberg became an account executive at Walter Reade Organization. His success amounted to his earned title of vice president.

Schlossberg then moved on to hosting the radio program, Movie Talk. Through this profession he became acquainted with various celebrities and stars. Movie Talk, once televised in New York and Philadelphia, also maintained Schlossberg as its host. Later, Schlossberg would transition to serving as Vice President of World Wide Acquisition and Vice President of Production at Paramount Pictures.

The executive continued to trailblazer through his drive and passion for the production industry, ultimately creating Castle Hill Productions. His production company allowed for both film production as well as film distribution. The greatest movies including multiple greats of the entertainment industry were distributed through Castle Hill Productions. The great success that Castle Hill Production amassed is wholly incredible.

Schlossberg sold Castle Hill Productions in 2006, swapping the great company for the creation of two budding companies, Jumer Productions Inc. and Westchester Films Inc.

One of Schlossberg’s great works came in the 90s. Schlossberg was given the opportunity to produce and documentary entitled Sex & Justice, regarding Anita Hill and Clarence Thomas and the widely publicized hearings that would go on to change the outlook of sexual harassment in the workplace. Schlossberg recounts visiting a video store in New York and being utterly surprised with the lack of visibility for the story and felt an innate sense to direct a movie of his own, “I went to a place called Video Shack on 49th and Broadway. I saw over 22 shows for the O.J case, but nothing, not one for Anita Hill and Clarence Thomas. So, I said well that’s ridiculous. I have to do a show.”

His passion for the arts and entrepreneurship span across many walks of life, even in university classes around America. Schlossberg has acted as a lecturer for many prestigious schools around the country, and has traveled globally sharing his great knowledge with those around him.

He now embarks on a new endeavor, TRY NOT TO HOLD IT AGAINST ME, an autobiography authored by the great entrepreneurial executive. The story encapsulates the Producer’s life and sheds light on his entry to the television industry, his time spent in the army, as well as stories from producing. In his eyes, this book “forces us to go back in time”. The stories he shares encapsulate a growth in the industry as well as a historical narrative replaying his incredible contributions to the ever-growing film business.
