Improving Life Quality with CBD

There are many different things that contribute to our quality of life, and sometimes you may find that your life quality starts to wane as a result of these things. For instance, things such as not getting enough sleep, being in pain, or always feeling low can all have a negative impact on your quality of life. They can also affect key aspects of your life such as your focus, your work, relationships, and health among other things.

The good news is that there are solutions that can help with these problems, and this includes the use of CBD products. CBD has gained a lot of positive press and popularity over recent years, and changes in legislation have made these products even more accessible. You can also choose from many different products to suit your needs such as CBD oil or CBD edibles. Many people take CBD because it makes a stark difference to their life quality, and in this article, we will look at how CBD does this.

Improvements You Can Look Forward To

One of the reasons CBD has become so popular is because it can improve your quality of life in so many ways. Some of the ways in which it can help to achieve better life quality are:

Improving Your Sleep

One of the things that CBD can help with is improving your sleep, and this in turn can then improve your health and quality of life. Lack of sleep can have a huge negative impact on your life, so you need to get the right amount of sleep on a regular basis. By increasing serotonin levels, CBD can help to regular your sleep patterns, which means you can look forward to plenty of rest to recharge your body and mind.

Dealing with Pain and Inflammation

Many people take CBD oil for pain, as it has been proven to be an excellent painkiller as well as a very effective anti-inflammatory. Many believe that it could become a big player in the future of painkillers, and many have found it to be hugely effective. So, if you have problems with pain and inflammation due to injuries or health conditions, this could prove highly beneficial. Reducing pain and inflammation will help to boost your quality of life considerably.

Helping You to Relax

When you find it hard to switch off and relax, it can leave you feeling really stressed and uptight. This can then impact your general health and your mental wellbeing. CBD is a great way to help you to unwind and relax, which can then benefit your overall wellbeing and improve your quality of life as a result.

Boosting Your Mood

We all feel low from time to time, but some more often than others. If you fall into the latter group, it can really affect your life. However, CBD can boost serotonin levels, which can then boost your mood. This then has a positive impact on your life quality.

These are some of the ways in which CBD can help to improve your quality of life.

Disclosure – My High

Disclosure’s new single & video, “My High” ft. Aminé and slowthai, out today Track Is from new Album, ENERGY, Set For August 28 Release. The pulsing new single finds Aminé and slowthai going head to head on an insanely exciting hip-house rampage. A distinct leap away from the club tracks offered on the Ecstasy EP and the more distinctive Disclosure production on “ENERGY,” “My High” further demonstrates the versatility and innovation harnessed by the Lawrence brothers.

The dynamic official video was shot pre-quarantine in Mexico City and Los Angeles. Directed by French filmmaker Simon Cahn (Danny Brown, Denai Moore), it features performances from both rappers. “We always wanted to work with rappers, we just didn’t know any and we had no means of contacting them… there aren’t a lot of rappers in Reigate,” says Disclosure. “Writing ‘My High’ with Aminé was a lot of fun, he’s hilarious and may as well be a comedian. He writes so quickly and it’s amazing to watch. He brought so much energy to this already very energetic tune that when we got home to London in January, there was only one guy capable of matching it… slowthai.”

Aminé and slowthai are not the only rappers on ENERGY – Mick Jenkins, Channel Tres and the legend that is Common also appear. Other features include the inimitable Kelis and Fatoumata Diawara, who collaborated with Disclosure on the GRAMMY-nominated “Ultimatum.” Cameroon’s Blick Bassy brings his own flow to the table while a powerhouse team of Kehlani & Syd ease the pace with their contribution. Eric Thomas – the hip hop preacher whose words memorably appeared on 2013’s “When a Fire Starts to Burn” – injects a hit of carnival-infused verve into a static and sober summer on the title track.

Fans who pre-order the album digitally will instantly receive “My High” plus the title track. ENERGY will also be available on vinyl, CD and cassette. This year marks 10 years since Disclosure debuted with the single “Offline Dexterity.” In that decade, Guy and Howard Lawrence, who are still in their 20s, have released two albums – Settle (2013) and Caracal (2015) – clocked up 5.1 billion streams and 4.8 million album sales, received five GRAMMY nominations, sold 500,000 tickets to their headline shows and topped festival bills all over the world. Both of their full-length albums topped the U.K. Official Albums chart and received GRAMMY nominations for Best Dance/Electronic Album. Settle was named the No. 1 dance album of the decade by Billboard. A pair of EPs – Moonlight and Ecstasy – followed.

Gates – COVID-19 Vaccine

By Jason Tayer

As the Black Lives Matter movement joined the COVID-19 pandemic in serving as two of the world’s most pressing current crises, they have undoubtedly merged in terms of their effects and implications on each other. The core issue driving the BLM movement deals with inequity and disproportionate treatment of black people compared to other populations in the U.S. In light of this notion, the coronavirus has been disproportionately affecting black populations across the country, and resembles a clear example of how we need mass social change.

Bill and Melinda Gates spoke out about how to better treat black communities in terms of handling the spread of COVID-19. According to Reuters, there have been several posts claiming that Melinda wants to test the vaccine on black communities. However, deeper analysis has shown that this was a misinterpretation and that she meant to communicate that once the vaccine is safe to distribute, healthcare workers and black populations should be first priority recipients of the vaccine since they have both been unequally affected by COVID-19 cases. For instance, the state of Illinois recorded that 30% of its COVID-19 cases were held by black people when they only make up 14.6% of the population.

TIME Magazine states that since there has been a lack of ties to international health agencies within this country, Bill Gates announced that the Gates Foundation will give $1.6 to the Vaccine Alliance. This effort to bring forth an appropriate vaccine as soon as possible compliments the intentions to equitably distribute the vaccine to particularly impacted communities once it is made available.

During the event, GM recognized 116 of its best suppliers from 15 countries that have consistently exceeded GM’s expectations, created outstanding value or introduced innovations to the company. The awards ceremony was originally scheduled as a live-event to be held in March but was postponed due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The recognition is for supplier performance in the 2019 calendar year.

This is the 25th time MANN+HUMMEL has received the award.

“Our suppliers play a key role in delivering the products, services and experiences our customers deserve – and these award-winning suppliers went above and beyond our expectations,” said Shilpan Amin, GM vice president, Global Purchasing and Supply Chain.

“We also believe it’s important at this point in time to thank our entire supply base for their efforts the last few months to mitigate the impacts of COVID-19,” added Amin. “Not only have we been able to safely restart our manufacturing operations, our suppliers played a key role in assisting our initiatives to increase the supply of ventilators and personal protection equipment (PPE) for frontline health care workers to help save lives and keep communities safe.”

The Supplier of the Year award winners were chosen by a global team of GM purchasing, engineering, quality, manufacturing and logistics executives. Winners were selected based on performance criteria in Product Purchasing, Global Purchasing and Manufacturing Services, Customer Care and Aftersales, and Logistics.
