GLORILLA – TGIF

GRAMMY-nominated artist GloRilla unleashed the full version of her highly-anticipated song “TGIF,” which is available to stream HERE via CMG/Interscope Records.

“TGIF” first gained traction when Glo previewed the song on social media, which created massive demand for the song’s release. She eventually started performing the song during stops on Megan Thee Stallion’s Hot Girl Summer Tour, with the crowd rapping along with her memorable lyrics “It’s 7pm Friday, it’s 95 degrees…I ain’t got no n—a and no n—a ain’t got me.”

“TGIF” comes on the heels of her star-studded collaboration “Wanna Be (Remix)” featuring Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B. First teased at Megan and Glo’s tour stop at Madison Square Garden last month, the pair teamed with Cardi, who delivered a dynamic verse, stamping the remix as the official go-to anthem for the summer. “Wanna Be” first debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 upon its release and, after this star-studded remix, soared back into the top 15, proving why GloRilla remains one of the genre’s top hitmakers.

Fresh from Paris Fashion week, global superstar, and Mavin Global/Jonzing World artist Rema has released a brand-new song titled “Benin Boys” featuring rising Nigerian artist Shalipoppi. The song is a tribute to Benin City, from which they both hail and an ode to the city’s rich cultural history and people. The single art pays homage to the city’s symbols, including the Benin Bronzes and bats — a fixture in the Benin sky. Charlie Chaplin and the silhouette of a tiny top with a huge bottom. I kept fantasising about that.
It turned into a game of micro against maxi, two fashion opposites.

From mini to huge in camaïeu pinks and baby blue hues.
3D dots, bulging patches, and terror toys against flatpack design. Open-sleeved shirts and jackets create a winking effect. Shapes that seem overwhelming and all-enveloping, but mixed with what stays close to the skin.

World Police Summit brought together global law enforcement from over 138 countries to share tomorrow’s strategies to combat global emerging criminal challenges and pave the way for a safer future.

To highlight this safer future, the opening ceremony for the summit featured a never-before-seen film, Merging Realities, which quickly turned into a fully immersive experience for attendees. Viewed on one of the largest seamless mesh holographic screens ever built, at 22m x 4m, this was the first immersive experience of its kind.

With the slogan of the Dubai Police in mind, “Welcome to Policing 5.0,” the film portrays a sci-fi inspired world of Dubai, the technological advances and how the police are always one step ahead, hinting to what the future of policing would be. It showcases the universe all the way back to a single atom, showcasing how we are all connected in a Quantum Realm, the atoms, charges, and electrons pulsating through all of us, the larger picture that we are all one.

The genius behind this film is Uzair Merchant, the founder of bKREATIV Productions and The Kreativ Lab. Merchant’s most recent work embarked on pushing the boundaries of immersive experiences, merging together mesh technology and holographic, traditional cinema, and live onstage action. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai were in attendance along with Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, and police leaders, security experts and professionals from across the world.

At a recent Lebook Connections NYC awards reception, 360 MAGAZINE had a chance to meet Luke Walwyn.

His artistic journey began with a pencil, where he sketched almost anything and everything that caught his eye, and then progressed to the camera. He became fascinated with capturing inanimate objects and presenting them to people, resulting in conceptual narratives. He successfully integrated his creative talent into the commercial arena after nine years at Voir Fashion Magazine as Art Director. Selfridges, Chanel, and Dior recognized his deliverables because of his unique storytelling style. Through dealings with the mentioned clients, Luke realized that high-level advertising campaigns heavily rely on emotional connections with consumers rather than tangible goods and/or services offered.
