Tips to improve your sports betting experience

What is it about sports betting that enthralls us? It’s easy, enjoyable, and gives us a chance to profit! Beginners, on the other hand, should wait before placing bets. As simple as sports betting is, it’s not always easy to get it all right when you’re just starting out in the industry.

It’s highly unlikely that you’ll enjoy sports betting if you approach it in the wrong way. You won’t be headed in the right direction in terms of turning a profit. No, we aren’t trying to stop you from betting on sports. That is not at all the case. It’s all about making sure you’re ready and that you have the best shot at making money.

Hopefully, you will be able to form as many good habits as possible by reading this article.

Follow these tips for a better experience, learn the language, don’t be influenced by your own personal bias. When you win, don’t get too cocky and when you lose, don’t get down on yourself. Try to spend some time doing your homework and have faith in your own sense of right and wrong. The best is if you don’t gamble if you’re intoxicated and the most important is to not give up and experiment!

Bonus and promotions

A “rollover requirement” is attached to all bonuses. A “rollover requirement” is the amount of money you must wager before requesting a payout (graded, settled wagers only). The amount you win or lose isn’t all that important. All that’s left is for you to do is put that money to good use. According to Basketballinsiders, a trusted and reliable source for information, the ‘ my bookie’ bonus code is a great start. Something to note is, It’s vital to remember that you’ll have to adhere to the MyBookie Bonus’s terms and conditions. If you fail to follow these terms and conditions, your bonus will be invalidated, and your winnings will be forfeited. To qualify for the free bet bonus, you must make a minimum deposit of $50.

To collect the bonus, you must enter the promo code INSIDERS upon registration or deposit.

Once the incentive has been activated, you must complete a 10x rollover requirement.

Wagering on sports must satisfy all rollover criteria.

How to sign up

Pressing ‘join now’ and entering your personal details are the first step. Then one must enter your address and claim the bonus code for you to receive the welcome offer. ( it should automatically pop out ). Read the terms and conditions, deposit and you can start!

Set a budget

There are many important tips, but none are more critical than this one. No matter how much money you have or how long-term your goals are, you must set a budget. Recall that losing money is much more common than winning money. Decide how much money you are willing to risk and make sure you don’t start risking more if you lose all of it.

All of these options are available for you to choose from when it comes to budgeting your money. People have even been known to set money aside with no specific deadline in mind. Creating a budget is completely up to you. If you’re serious about sticking to your spending plan, make sure it’s set at a level you can afford.

Because no one has an endless supply of cash, everyone must learn to budget. There are some living expenses that should always take precedence over other costs. Disposable income can be used for gambling, but the money that must be used for other purposes should not be used for gambling. Gambling can quickly spiral out of control at this point, with potentially disastrous results. By adhering to a budget, this can easily be avoided. As long as the stakes are low and there’s no risk of losing, sports betting can be an enjoyable experience. A staking plan is also recommended. When it comes down to it, the term “staking plan” simply means a set of guidelines for determining how much money should be bet on each wager in relation to the overall budget. At most, you should bet no more than 5% of your total account value. You’ll be able to weather a few setbacks without going over your budget too quickly if you do this.

Pick and choose your showdowns

It’s one of the most appealing aspects of sports betting to have so many options to choose from. We now have the ability to bet on virtually any sport, event, league, or competition that we can think of. Additionally, we offer a wide range of bets to choose from. Most of our money can be put to good use in many different ways.

Although it is important to choose wisely, If you bet too much money or place too many wagers, you’ll likely lose more money more quickly than if you bet too little. When you’re betting a lot, it’s difficult to make consistently sound decisions, so it’s better to focus your efforts on finding real bargains.

Choosing how many different sports and leagues or competitions to bet on should be done with great care, as should the stakes. While betting on multiple sports isn’t a bad idea, it’s also not necessary to narrow your focus to a single one. Keep your attention focused on the topics you know the most about, and steer clear of those you don’t.

This only applies to certain sports when it comes to league sizes or competitions. Betting on every tennis match, for example, would be a realistic expectation. It wouldn’t be too difficult to keep track of since most of the players are the same. In contrast, soccer is an entirely different matter. There are simply too many tournaments and leagues to keep track of. As long as you have a working knowledge of two or three leagues, you can get a good handle on the players and teams.

iGaming is More Popular Than Ever: Here’s How the Industry will Evolve in the Future

iGaming is one of the fastest-growing internet industries. Software companies and technology experts are combining to offer customers the most exciting and realistic gaming experiences, and casinos are fiercely competing to attract new punters by vying to provide the best online casino bonus promotions. The latest enhancements create immersive gameplay with the most advanced graphics ever seen. It is a constantly evolving landscape with many new developments heading over the horizon.

Virtual Reality

VR has been on the fringes of iGaming for years but never entirely made it to the mainstream. This has mainly been down to the limitations and the prohibitive cost of the equipment players need to experience the technology fully. However, the limits could be removed as tech giants make strides towards lightweight, wireless, affordable headsets, and this is driven in part by some of the largest casino software houses, who have a vision for an entire virtual casino walkthrough immersion where players can move between tables, visit the bar, and even stroll through the giftshop – in line with the whole experience offered in such prestige locations as the Las Vegas strip.

Augmented Reality

Another technology expected to feature heavily in the future of internet gaming is Augmented reality. It first hit the headlines when Nintendo launched the next installment of the hugely successful Pokémon franchise, Pokémon Go, which allowed thousands of fans to head out into the world and take their interactive gaming with them. The future of AR is thought to involve special glasses that seamlessly combine the real world with the virtual game, bringing the live action into your living room.

Cloud Gaming

Cloud technology is another relatively new addition to the world of computing and has yet to reach its full potential. The most common use currently is off-site storage. Customers can expand their storage capability by utilizing the secure cloud, whether from phones or computers. This secure storage offers not only the space to store more but being remote is still accessible if the device breaks or the user upgrades. No need to reinstall everything; simply log back into the cloud account and download as needed. The gaming industry is looking to utilize this as a form of game rental space where nothing is required on the gamer’s PC – but accessed via the cloud. This could revolutionize gaming – provided the end-user has an internet connection to support the speeds needed to avoid lag and connection dropping.

Hi-Fi Graphics

High-fidelity is the buzzword for companies like Nvidia and AMD. Essentially, this is the quest for ultra-realistic graphics, and the game is on. The correct term is raytracing, but for the non-technical end-user, this simply means games that look so real you could be there. There have been some issues with a hard to get hold of chipset, but once this issue is sorted, there should be no stopping the rise of the hyper-realistic game.

The Metaverse

If you are unaware of the metaverse concept, it is best defined as an online space reminiscent of a parallel universe, although virtual in nature, where people log in and live a life. This sounds quite intimidating, but realistically this is a long way off from becoming a fully functional concept. However, there are glimpses already, with games like Fortnite featuring some aspects we expect to see. The possibilities for gaming are vast and exciting and will enable game players to become part of the immersive experience that major gaming industry players want to offer. For most of us, the metaverse is easily understood as the virtual world’s backdrop and scaffolding.

Raised in Atlanta, GA, 23-year-old rising rapper Latto has been making a name for herself since she was eight years old. The Rap Game Season One winner has continually released music since 2016 and signed with RCA Records in 2020. In June 2019, Latto released her EP Big Latto, which included her breakout-hit song “Bitch From Da Souf.” The December 2019 release of her follow-up project, Hit The Latto, contained the remix version of the track featuring Saweetie & Trina, the accompanying video has been viewed over 86 million times. Prior to this, her impressive catalog of music includes Miss Mulatto (2016), Latto Let ‘Em Know (2017) and Mulatto (2018).

To start off the new chapter, Latto received her first-ever nominations for “Best New Artist” and “Best Female Hip-Hop Artist” at the 2021 BET Awards followed by performances at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) on their Extended Play Stage where she gave fans a sneak peek snippet of “Big Energy” prior to its release along with performances of “Bitch From Da Souf” and “Muwop.” In addition to her VMAs performance debut, she received her first VMA nomination for “MTV Push Performance of the Year” for “Sex Lies.” She was also nominated for two 2021 Soul Train Awards and one 2022 NAACP Image Awardfor Chris Brown’s “Go Crazy (Remix)” with Young Thug, Lil Durk and Future.

From her appearance on LA Leakers with her viral freestyle to her feature on soundtracks for Halle Berry’s Bruised and F9: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to her energetic appearances and sets at festivals, she continues to elevate. Latto’s latest singles “Big Energy” and “Soufside” are on her newly released album 777, and the new project demonstrates that point further. Most recently, “Big Energy” has proven to be a certified smash-hit making it into the top 20 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart (#14 currently), becoming RIAA-certified Gold, and dominating radio (cracking top 5 at Pop radio and was #1 at Urban and Rhythm). The track shows Latto embracing this new phase in her career – manifesting good fortune and hitting bar after bar with witty, captivating lyrics, but staying true to herself and her roots. Big Latto’s ‘got that real big energy’ and shows no signs of stopping.

Bianchet Tourbillon B1.618 Titanium-Carbon Limited Editions inside 360 MAGAZINE

Bianchet Tourbillon B1.618

Titanium-Carbon Limited Editions

Revealed during Geneva Watch Week at Barton7, Bianchet unveils two new limited editions of the Tourbillon B1.618 Openwork, which unite noble materials with a sporty and technological soul, and reflect the Franco-Italian brand’s statement to define a new essence of style in contemporary watchmaking.

Timeless design principles

By using the iconic Golden Number 1.618 and the work of Italian mathematician Fibonacci as design basis, coupled with a minimalist essential approach to watchmaking construction, Bianchet creates a collection of modern and refined watches, in which beauty and harmony come to the fore.

Known as “The Divine Proportion,” the Golden Number 1.618, which underlies the beauty of the universe, is found in some of the most harmonious and everlasting creations in art, architecture, music – from Leonardo da Vinci, Le Corbusier, to Debussy – and in nature.

Fascinated by the capacity of the Golden Number, and its timeless design principle, to create beauty and harmony, Bianchet founders have chosen to immortalise its proportions in their horological compositions to build an everlasting legacy.

Italian by design, French in the details

Created by the Franco-Italian couple Rodolfo and Emmanuelle Festa Bianchet, the brand lays the foundation for its inspiration through its faith in the purity of lines, its passion for contemporary design and architecture, coupled with a pure, intuitive sensibility nourished by Italian roots, and an innate attention to details.

The flowing lines, the sense of colour, the engineering concept behind every Bianchet timepiece are a perfect illustration of the Italian design approach and eagerness to create an object of desire, that is beautiful from its conception to its aesthetic execution.

The tonneau shape of the case, the openwork design of its movement, the high-end finishing, illustrate the combination of Italian aesthetic sensibility and French sense of detail. Everything within the Tourbillon B1.618 Titanium-Carbon watch expresses refinement, pure lines and a natural sense of balance that makes it a watch of our time for our time.

Crafted with soul

Every Bianchet watch is designed, crafted, produced, and finished by hand entirely in Switzerland, including the strap and buckle. Each person involved in the creation of a Bianchet timepiece, from the founders, designers and craftsmen, to carefully selected partners, put their heart and soul into their work to produce the best of Haute Horlogerie in Switzerland.

The process of making a Bianchet watch is focused as much on quality and aesthetic, as on technical excellence, the main objective being to obtain a perfect balance between form and function. The art of Haute Horlogerie, mainly executed by hand, requires complete undivided attention; a suspended moment in time when the passion of the creator transfers to the object and conveys the highest level of quality.

Conceived for an active lifestyle, the slightly curved carbon & titanium case offers perfect comfort. The union of hand-finished Grade 5 Titanium on the bezel and back, and a light carbon fiber composite with an added titanium powder, which Moiré effect creates unique patterns on every timepiece, is underlined by soft vulcanized rubber seams which bring a sensuous feel. The perfect curves, the lightness and softness sensations, the high-end materials, create a unique horological experience.

Titanium Caliber B1.618

The movement of the Tourbillon B1.618 Openwork is the result of genuine aesthetic research. Conceived from the outset as a skeletonized movement, the Calibre B1.618 is all about a sensation of plumbing untold depths, a feeling accentuated by the curves, whose radii’s progression and interlacing are derived from the Fibonacci sequence. The symmetrical plays off the asymmetrical, in a balance that is natural to the eye, with a harmony that is intrinsic to the Golden Ratio.

Crafted from grade 5 titanium, that only master watchmakers are able to harness, the calibre B1.618 is able to withstand shocks of up to 6000G in all positions. The superposition of titanium arches and curves, in various shades of black, the floating skeletonized flanges which adorn the movement, play with light and transparency to create a sculptural architecture that is both strong and ethereal.

The tourbillon cage, the main plate and bridges, are all crafted from titanium and finished by hand, using mineral sands and natural fibres. Every wheel of the B1.618 gear-train is decorated by hand and coated with rhodium – today the most prestigious and expensive metal on earth.

Contemporary Haute Horlogerie

Thanks to peerless Haute Horlogerie techniques and the use of noble materials, featuring a sporty and technological soul, Bianchet timepiece collection reinterprets mechanical art in contemporary high-horology.

Uniting the sensory, cultural, mathematical, and mechanical, the new Tourbillon B1.618 Openwork Titanium-Carbon limited editions feature a hand-finished case in Grade 5 Titanium on the bezel and back, mixed with a light carbon fiber composite infused with a titanium powder, stylishly signed with two soft colorful rubber seams.

1.618 by Bianchet

Focused on re-engineering a timepiece by applying the Golden Ratio to contemporary watchmaking, Bianchet breaks free from the classical and traditional culture with which the iconic number 1.618 has generally been associated, and applies the Golden Ratio to a modern conception, using the materials, manufacturing techniques and performances of today, in the respect of centuries of high horology know-how.

Limited to 21 pieces each, the new Tourbillon B1.618 Openwork titanium-carbon blue and green editions stand as a modern and timeless testament to beauty in watchmaking, and bring a sporty-chic Haute Horlogerie timepiece to refined watch lovers in search of a unique horological experience.

DJ Hardwell inside 360 MAGAZINE

HARDWELL – WORLD TOUR

Nearly ten years on from when he performed one of the most electrifying performances at perhaps one of the most influential electronic music events in history. Dance music pioneer and former 2 x World No.1 DJ Hardwell returned to the stage at Ultra Music Festival to make history with undoubtedly the most anticipated return show of 2022.

In Autumn 2018, after more than a decade of playing the biggest festivals on the planet, Hardwell announced he would be taking a sabbatical from touring. So his emphatic return on Sunday night, his first official show since his concert with the Metropole Orkest Symphony at the Ziggo Dome back in October 2018, was unsurprisingly a moment for the history books. Playing a surprise set on the main stage, closing out the festival’s weekend, the 150,000 capacity crowd excitedly greeted Hardwell’s return. Whilst online, his performance also broke Ultra’s numbers via the live stream, with fans tuning in from around the globe, all eager to watch Hardwell’s first official live set in some 3.5 years.

Revealing a new show and new sound, alongside announcing a 24-date world tour supporting his new artist album, Rebels Never Die, Hardwell used his headline slot at Ultra over the weekend to mark a new era in his career. This momentous occasion during Ultra not only served as Hardwell’s first show back but a chance for him to ignite the attention of fans worldwide. Always a leader, with a quest to evolve, not repeat. Hardwell’s new 14 track solo album, released on his label Revealed Recordings, represents a critical point in the musical shift for one of electronic music’s biggest known stars.

The brand new Rebels Never Die world tour is a large-scale production concept that will give fans a unique multi-dimensional experience to witness Hardwell perform live back on stage. Throughout 2022, the Rebels Never Die album tour will see Hardwell on the road with already 24 dates booked on the biggest stages across Europe, Asia, North and South America.

For millions of fans worldwide, Hardwell’s shock announcement from touring back in 2018 came as a huge surprise. After more than a decade of chasing his dream and at the peak of his career, Robbert van de Corput, better known as Hardwell, chose to take a step back, to move out of the spotlight. Stepping away from a journey that bore over 120 x singles, 80 x remixes, 1 x artist album, 11 x compilation albums, 2 x documentaries, 2 x arena world tours, countless international headline performances, and more. Leaving fans uncertain if they would ever get to see Hardwell on stage again.

On Sunday, during the closing night of Ultra Music Festival, in the beautiful city of Miami, Hardwell once again gave the fans what they wanted – putting an end to the rumours of his retirement. Quashing any belief that his passion for electronic music was no longer burning bright and firmly answering the question of how does one of dance music’s biggest titans reinvent a peerless career of such impressive magnitude.

Rolls-Royce Dubai edition inside 360 MAGAZINE

ROLLS-ROYCE MOTOR CARS DUBAI

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Dubai is accustomed to innovative artforms, and the new Carbon Veil is an exquisite addition to the Phantom Gallery. The construction technique, which involves applying 150 carbon fiber sheets, is genuinely ground-breaking; the result is ultra-stylish, contemporary and beautiful, and perfectly attuned to the aesthetic sensibilities of the Emirate of Dubai.”

Mamdouh Khairallah, General Manager, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Dubai, AGMC

“It required a huge amount of experimentation to produce the Carbon Veil Gallery. The main challenge in creating the shape was ensuring that the weave of the carbon fibre remained horizontal and parallel throughout. It had to be perfect – because this is a Rolls‑Royce.”

Alastair Gibson, carbon fiber artist, and sculptor

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Dubai, AGMC, is delighted to present a truly remarkable example of Bespoke artwork created for the marque’s pinnacle product, Phantom. The Carbon Veil has been specially developed for the Gallery area in the fascia, a feature unique to Phantom, where owners can choose to display an original work of art or design.

The Carbon Veil, which took two years to create, is made from carbon fibre. For most automotive applications, just three or four layers are used. For Rolls-Royce Phantom, no fewer than 150 sheets were permeated with resin and compressed to form a single, solid billet.

The work was commissioned and designed by the Rolls‑Royce Bespoke Collective based at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, England, and realized by artist and sculptor Alastair Gibson, who combines knowledge and expertise gained in Formula 1 to create his carbon-fiber masterpieces.

The Carbon Veil introduces a highly contemporary note to Phantom’s interior, with sharp, angular surfaces and the distinctive woven surface synonymous with innovation, technology and performance. Depending on the client’s preference, the carbon fibre is finished in either clear or matte lacquer which brings out the weave pattern and protects it from harmful ultra-violet rays. The whole piece is sealed under a single pane of glass.

Each Phantom Gallery is individually assembled in the Clean Room at Goodwood. Completed in 2020, this medical-grade facility provides a 100% sterile environment where Bespoke items and other delicate components can be produced entirely free of dust and particles.

The gunmetal exterior is bolstered with an iced finish with gunmetal contrast bonnet, while the coachline and waftline are accented in a vivid mandarin orange. At the helm of the bonnet proudly stands the Spirit of Ecstasy crafted from carbon fibre.

Within the interior, the anthracite brightwork provides moments of contrast, along with the colour-keyed rotary controls and leather detailing. The dark tones and light leather flourishes beautifully accent the Veil Gallery upon the Phanton’s fascia. The flawless Black Pack elements on the exterior include an alluring black trim on the windows, the grille and the exhausts.

The Gallery is a space protected behind glass. This space affords the opportunity to introduce sharp and aggressive forms, which are unprecedented for a vehicle interior. The design of the faceted milled carbon fibre sculpture was originally inspired by the angular, aggressive, stealthy shapes of the 118 WallyPower.

The very attitude and nature of the Gallery has been extended to the other Bespoke details on both the exterior and interior of the Phantom it resides within. With a highly contemporaneous edge, the vehicle exemplifies the spectrum of Bespoke potential, with Phantom as a canvas quite like no other.

Alastair Gibson’s artwork is highly prized by collectors in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, the Middle East and in his native South Africa, and can be viewed in galleries around the world.

10KTF Gucci Grail

In the spirit of the concept store, Vault’s virtual shelves, already home to a distinctive combination of rare vintage Gucci finds and new creations by handpicked designers, will also welcome a wider offering of noteworthy brands dear to Alessandro Michele through exclusive capsule collections or curated selections. One of the first to create a limited-edition lineup for Vault is Belgian Maison Delvaux, which was founded in 1829 making it the oldest luxury fine leather goods brand in the world.

Forever in flux and staying true to its constant pursuit of ideas that go beyond the confines of time and space, Vault will continue to present monthly drops of rare vintage finds, as well as a regular rotation of exclusive capsules, special collaborations, and new brands. The latest releases will be highlighted on its dedicated Instagram account, @guccivault, and its Discord server, GucciVault.

A crystal ball heralds its arrival. Mysterious and fascinating, the magical globe is the gift the digital avatar of Alessandro Michele, Gucci’s Creative Director, offers Wagmi-san, world-renowned digital artisan who has invited the designer — already on a journey towards new paradigms and forms of creativity– to his virtual shop in New Tokyo.

We cannot resist using the lexicon of fairy tales to describe 10KTF Gucci Grail, the new initiative happening in Vault’s experimental space. In collaboration with digital accessory shop 10KTF, Gucci has created ad hoc digital outfits designed by Alessandro Michele and created by Wagmi-san to dress PFPs from eleven selected NFT collections including Bored Ape, World of Women, Cool Cats and many others. The “PFP” acronym stands for ‘Picture For Proof’, a NFT version of a profile photo, used by collectors both as their portrait and as extreme expressions of artistic and technological talent. The encounter between Wagmi-san and Alessandro Michele generates two custom Gucci looks, available in different colors, inspired respectively by the Aria and Love Parade collections, for those who aspire to express their individuality through fashion in the parallel digital worlds.

The House is already present in the realm of NFTs, the ‘Non-Fungible Tokens’ that have transformed our experience of art, sublimating it into immaterial digital works. Acquiring personalized virtual garments also involves several steps, not unlike the actual process of securing a designer creation (which requires several fittings).

Over the past few days, the crystal ball has been accessible to three groups of people – those who already own a PFP; those who are members of the Gucci Vault community on the Discord server, and those who already ‘inhabit’ New Tokyo, where artisan Wagmi-san lives. Those who redeemed their crystal ball were able to choose between the different Gucci looks artfully tailored by Wagmi-san and receive their customized digital avatar.

With only a limited number of users involved, this project has the feel of a unique work: “10KTF Gucci Grail” not only highlights the individuality of each person, but it also unveils the huge, spectacular potential of virtual realities, enabling us to design a digital identity in an alternative world. How Jumanji Made Comeback After Twelve Years and Is Still Loved

Everyone who grew up during the 90s is well acquainted with Jumanji’s story, about the boy who was dragged into the board game of the same name. The movie was a huge success and guaranteed its place in pop culture. The storyline didn’t really call for a sequel, so how was The Rock’s sequel so successful?

Welcome to the Jungle

Millennials are more prone to nostalgia than other generations. Surely, the entertainment industry is well-aware of it. It’s not a coincidence that so many titles from the 90s are making their way back to the big screens. Star Wars and Jurassic World are a few examples.

Still, there are other ways to cater to this sentiment. The gaming industry has turned nostalgia into a profitable business. The “wild” adventure has also gained versions for PS4, and even slots games, which can be found at the best WV online casinos. The haunted game board used in the original movie was sold for $87,500.

So, even if uncalled for, Jumanji’s sequel, “Welcome to the Jungle,” was a pleasant and welcomed surprise. Yet, nostalgia isn’t the movie’s only attractive feature. The story was finely updated to our days. A character from the 1996 movie was dragged into the game. This character comes back to our days, using slang and pop culture references from that time. Other updates about technology and video games are also sure to score some laughs.

Nostalgia in Hollywood

Millennials are indeed easy prey for nostalgia baits, but the trick isn’t new in Hollywood. We can go back to 1939, when the first Wizard of Oz hit the big screens, based on a book from 1900. The same goes for Tom Sawyer: a movie released in 1930, based on a book from 1876. Nowadays, the sentiment can be summoned by the industry in different ways, not only referencing books.

Break Points

The director, Jake Kasdan, invested in a very charismatic cast, as did the original movie. Dwayne Johnson comes in place of the sorely missed Robin Williams, followed by Jack Black, Karen Gillian, and Kevin Hart. It looks like a comedy cast, and indeed there are some hilarious moments, but it’s still an adventure movie. Does it follow a direct line from the original, then? Not quite.

The movie begins one year after the story has ended, in 1996. A teenager Alex Vreeke plays Jumanji on a Playstation-like video game. Then the storyline jumps 20 years, straight into 2016. The board’s magical powers were somehow transported to a video game, where the main actors are avatars. Dwayne Johnson is Spencer’s avatar, while Jack Black plays Bethany. Kevin Hart represents Fridge in the game, while Karen Gillian plays Martha.

Although he looks completely different now, Bobby Cannavale, a veteran from the 1996 cast, still plays the villain John Hardin Van Pelt. Jack Black is the avatar of Professor Sheldon Oberon. However, his avatar is played by a teenage girl, who Black recreated to perfection, with voice, facial expressions, etc.

Game Over

Those expecting to be kicked back to their childhood days won’t be disappointed. Nor will those looking for something more original than a simple reboot. It keeps more than enough references to transport the audience back to the 90s but never lifting a foot from the present. The substitution of a board game by a video game was obvious but added a completely different dynamic to the movie.

Less obvious and quite entertaining, though, is the personality clash between the avatars and their players. Dwayne Johnson plays a shy and nervous teenage boy. Jack Black really looks like the most popular girl at school trapped in an oversized middle-aged man. Kevin Hart plays an over-excited boy, while the nerdy and not-sportive Martha gives life to a Lara Croft-like Ruby Roundhouse. “Welcome to the Jungle” is notalgia bait done right.
