YUNGBLUD Shares O2 Performance

YUNGBLUD SHARES NOVEMBER 2019 SOLD-OUT HEADLINE PERFORMANCE FROM LONDON’S O2 ACADEMY BRIXTON

WATCH HERE

On November 21, 2019, UK recording artist YUNGBLUD performed to a room of 5000 fans at O2 Academy Brixton. The show, his largest to date, was a milestone for the 22-year-old Doncaster native.

“I was getting so frustrated that I can’t play a show and connect to my fan base,” said YUNGBLUD. “We were brainstorming ideas, and I remembered we had a bunch of people filming the Brixton show, so my team stayed up for a couple days editing it together. If we can’t go to a live show, I’m gonna bring one to them. This was one of the best nights of my life. A night that I wanted to relive with my fans once again.”

NFL Season Start Uncertainty

By Wide Margin, Public Thinks Medical Experts Should Decide Start of NFL Season, Not Trump

By 60 percent to 36 percent, the nation thinks President Trump’s call to league commissioners last weekend (reported by ESPN) expressing a belief that the NFL season should open on time was inappropriate.

Only 18 percent think the President or state governors should have the responsibility to resume play, while 61 percent say the responsibility should rest with medical experts.

On the question of responsibility to resume play, only seven percent thought it should be the President; 11 percent state governors.  Nineteen percent said it should be left up to the NFL.

These were the results of a Seton Hall Sports Poll conducted last week among 762 Americans across the country on both landlines and cellphones.  The Poll has a margin of error of +/- 3.6 percent.

Asked about the federal government’s reaction to the coronavirus, 55 percent felt it was not strong enough, with only 38 percent calling it appropriate, and six percent excessive.  Asked who has better communicated with the public about the virus, only 12 percent cited the federal government, with 38 percent saying state governments, and an additional 37 percent saying both.  Twelve percent said neither.

Among those who identified themselves as sports fans, the numbers were approximately the same.

Should Football Open on Time if Training Season Is Limited

By 46 percent to 36 percent, the public feels the NFL season should not open on time (which would be September 10), and by 77-20 percent, the public feels the seasons for both college and pro football should be delayed if the players have not had enough time to get in shape.

Did NBA Shutdown Help Awaken Government Actions?

Sixty-two percent of the nation thought that the cancellation of sports seasons, which began with the NBA, played a role in getting government officials to start taking the coronavirus more seriously.

“Americans want the health professionals to say when the time is right for sports to return,” noted Rick Gentile, director of the Seton Hall Sports Poll, which is sponsored by the Sharkey Institute within the Stillman School of Business.  “And clearly, they feel that the federal government has not communicated well with the public, with the governors left to deliver mixed messages absent a unified national plan.  The 38 percent who feel President Trump’s reaction to the virus is appropriate is consistent with his base support since he took office.”

Bunkr is getting ready to ship its launch product to Americans within the next 30 days. The website, www.bunkr.club is currently live to join the waiting list for domestic orders, with future plans to expand both product offerings as well as international distribution.

Norotsky, recently profiled in Adweek, notes “ENTER has always been a brand incubator at the forefront of culture and whether it’s on behalf of one of our major brand partners like AB InBev, AT&T, lululemon or ultimately ourselves, we aren’t about to let this crisis keep us down.”

Norotsky is known as one of the foremost cultural marketers in the country and in addition to serving as CEO of the award winning experiential events agency, he also recently opened Agency Coffee Co., a ‘grab and go’ coffee window located in the bustling Melrose Avenue streetwear district of Los Angeles, which doubles as creative office space for his ENTER agency team. The location allows for him to have vendors delivering event materials and product to their rear storage area, the middle retail space acts as a functioning creative office space, and the front portion, the only part visible to customers, is a consumer facing coffee window offering coffees, teas, juices and fresh pastries with coffee partner La Colombe.

CAMERON HUGHES WINE

‘Clean and crisp curated wines at your door in days’ – 360 MAGAZINE

San Francisco-based Cameron Hughes Wine has been a leader in the “direct to consumer” business model, making it super simple to order excellent wine right to your door, and for a great value. With economic uncertainty on the horizon, these are the best deals for price-conscious folks who still want to enjoy high-quality wines, with the added benefit of safety and convenience.

Cameron operates as a wine trader or “négociant” rather than a producer, which means he doesn’t own vineyards or a winery – his focus is solely on sourcing the best wines and negotiating the best price. He looks in every cellar and barrel room, and peeks behind every door that says “Employees Only.” Sometimes he buys wine still in the barrel, and other times he buys “shiners” (wine already in a bottle with no label).

Deals are made discreetly and typically protected by an agreement to keep the source winery undisclosed to protect their brand. The result? Cameron is able to offer $100+ Napa Cabernets for a third of the price, or a $60 bottle of Pinot for under $20.

They have won four GRAMMY Awards®, an Oscar, a Golden Globe and three BRIT Awards. California Poison Control Offers Rattlesnake Bite Prevention Tips

By Dr. Rais Vohra

At California Poison Control System (CPCS), we want to remind residents that with warmer spring weather, rattlesnakes are more likely to be found on hiking trails and sunning in rural areas. Most bites occur between the months of April and October. Even baby rattlesnakes possess dangerous venom as soon as they hatch.

This weekend, we received three calls about rattlesnake bites, a higher number per weekend than usual. About 300 cases are reported to CPCS annually in California, with additional other cases managed by physicians and hospitals.

While the odds of being bitten by a rattlesnake are small compared to other environmental injuries, residents can follow precautions outdoors that can minimize the chance of being bitten. For example, children are naturally curious and may look into open pipes or under rocks, or kick loose brush and bushes where snakes may sometimes lie quietly. Children need to be carefully supervised outside, especially in wooded and desert areas where snakes tend to live.  Rattlesnakes do not always make a rattling sound, so someone can be standing next to a rattlesnake and not even know it.

Some rattlesnake bite prevention tips include:

  • Wear boots and long pants when hiking.
  • Stay on trails when hiking, away from underbrush and tall weeds.
  • Do not touch or disturb a snake, even if it appears dead.
  • Carefully inspect logs or rocks before sitting on them.
  • Never hike alone in remote areas. Always have someone with you who can assist in an emergency. Calling for help if alone is not an option, as cellphones do not always work in remote areas.
  • Teach children to respect snakes and to leave them alone.

The symptoms of a rattlesnake bite may include extreme pain and swelling at the location of the bite; excessive bleeding; nausea; swelling in the mouth and throat making it difficult to breathe; lightheadedness; drooling; and even collapse, shock and death in rare cases.  If you are bitten by a rattlesnake, immediate medical attention is critical. Severe or even life-threatening symptoms may occur within minutes after the bite, or in other cases may begin after couple of hours. In either event, your best bet is to get to a hospital as soon as you can.

The following steps are important for any rattlesnake bite:

  • Get immediate medical attention.
  • Do not apply ice, do not use a tourniquet or constricting band, do not try to suck out the venom, and do not use any device to cut or slice the bite site.
  • Keep calm, do not run and keep the affected extremity elevated during transport to a medical facility.
  • Do not call the local hospitals to see if they have anti-venom, just go ASAP.

By the way, many veterinarians now carry rattlesnake anti-venom and rattlesnake vaccines for dogs and other pets that are bitten. Contact a veterinarian for more information.
