JP Cooper Releases Sing It With Me

JP Cooper follows the rapid success of debut album ‘Raised Under Grey Skies’ with ‘Sing It With Me’ ft. Astrid S – his first release of 2019.

Today, JP unleashes an acoustic version of the single, which is as stunning and exposed as you would imagine, showcasing the true grit of JP’s unmistakable vocal. A deft songwriter and a singer with soulful brilliance, JP Cooper has a rich era-spanning appreciation of music, and an innate need to turn life experiences into narrative.

Never shy of working with other artists, ‘Sing It With Me,’ is the most joyous of collaborations. With voices that meld together into one, the harmonies complement each other in all the right ways. Slowly adding layers, the track begins with the soulful vocals of Cooper and eventually builds up to an explosive chorus that commands the attention of any room. The perfect soundtrack for the dance floor or a day on the beach, ‘Sing It With Me’ can translate to any occasion. With a driving beat and passionate vocals, the track has an infectious energy that leaves listeners captivated by the duo.

On the new release JP adds:
“I’m pretty sure that the reason most guys pick up a guitar and write a song for the first time, it’s usually down to a girl. ‘Sing It With Me’ is a song about just that. It’s the idea of writing a song for somebody that you didn’t quite have the courage to simply say hi to.
It’s a romanticised version of that I guess, only this time the guy gets the girl (for me in reality I’d likely record it 50 times only to decide it’s terrible and scrap it). I wanted to feature an artist with an incredibly sweet voice and Astrid S fit the bill perfectly. I was so excited to hear her on the track and she definitely delivered. I tried my best to write a chorus that was almost as infectious as ‘Baby Shark’ but very quickly realised that it was impossible. Overall, I think it turned out pretty well.”

With two UK Top Ten singles to his name, the Jonas Blue smash ‘Perfect Strangers’ which he co-wrote and the inescapable radio hit ‘September Song’ (which has HAD over 350 million streams worldwide), JP has notched up an incredible 10 million single units worldwide, and an extraordinary 1 billion streams. HIS album also contained the infectious, ‘She’s on My Mind’, the gospel tinged, soaring ‘Passport Home’ and ‘Momma’s Prayers’ a collaboration with Stormzy.

No stranger to the live arena, JP has already sold out shows at London’s most famous venues including The Village Underground, Koko, 02 Forum Kentish Town, 02 Shepherd’s Bush Empire and the aforementioned Roundhouse.

Following the fantastic ‘Ordinary People’ collaboration with Bugzy Malone in 2018, and the stunning serenade of the ‘Cheerleader’ demo at the end of last year, JP has his sights firmly set on reclaiming his masterful crown, with more new music pencilled to be released before the year is through.

Recaro Pays Homage to Nürburgring with All New Sports Seat

For the 47th year, the Nürburgring will be the stage for its unparalleled 24-hour race, taking place June 20-23. Exactly 50 years ago, the planning for a ‘real endurance competition’ began, bringing to life a twice around the clock race on the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring.

“It is truly the perfect time for us to create a product that celebrates this legendary race track, and we are excited to unveil it at one of the world’s greatest motorsports events,” says Ulrich J. Severin, head of Recaro Automotive Seating. “In close coordination with the Nürburgring, we developed the idea for an exclusive edition of our successful Sportster CS with a tie-in to the Ring.”

In dynamic driving, the Sportster CS uniquely supports and protects the body by surrounding it like a second skin. Its body-hugging contour has the strength of a metal structure with an ultra-thin, reinforced polymer backrest. Together with the pronounced side bolsters on the backrest and seat, the Sportster CS offers an excellent shoulder and torso support and keeps the body stable even with high lateral forces. These characteristics are essential for professional racers like Frank Stippler, winner of the 24-hour races at the Nürburgring and in Spa.

“After 26 years of racing and series development, my body appreciates the maximum comfort and support of Recaro seats,” said professional racer, Frank Stippler. “On the uniquely demanding Nordschleife, with its many fast passages, corresponding centrifugal forces and significant uneven stretches of track, a perfectly shaped seat is worth its weight in gold.”

The seat displays a high-performance aesthetic through its exterior features and was designed with black and red high-quality leather. It was built with ultra-light composite materials and high-end foams for the shell and upholstery. Red decorative seams and sporty accent stripes on the back shell emphasize its dynamic appearance and is complemented by embroidered logos of Recaro and the Nürburgring on the integrated headrest. A numbered edition badge on the seat confirms that consumers have purchased an exclusive item.

The special edition seat comes as a standard with manual length and backrest adjusters, as well as seat heating. A side airbag can also be ordered as an option. After the seat presentation at the ADAC Total 24h Race at the Nürburgring, the special edition will be available as a driver and passenger seat via the worldwide Recaro service partner network. Only 999 units will be produced, and each will cost from $2,450. U.S. customers may order the product upfront from Recaro North America, with an estimated 12 to 14-week delivery timeframe.

For more information on the limited Nürburgring edition of the Recaro Sportster CS, and its presentation during the ADAC Total 24h Race, please visit: www.nuerburgring.recaro-automotive.com.

DAYDREAM MASI × “STARDUST”

DAYDREAM MASI PREMIERES NEW SINGLE “STARDUST”

NEW PROJECT SLOW RAGE DUE OUT SOON

OHIO-BRED ARTIST TO PERFORM AT SMOKIN GROOVES FEST ON 6/15

Emerging singer/rapper/songwriter/producer daydream Masi has shared a magnetic and moody new single called “Stardust.” Released via Interscope Records, “Stardust” is available now through all digital retailers.

Listen to “Stardust” by daydream Masi HERE

Hailing from Akron, Ohio, daydream Masi merges hip-hop, soul, R&B, and electronic music into a lush yet bold sound that defies all genre boundaries. On “Stardust,” the 21-year-old artist dreams up a smooth but unpredictable sonic palette, unfolding in airy textures and ominous beats, subtly sweet melodies and jagged distortion.

Last month, daydream Masi made his Interscope debut with “Nightlife,” a hazy and hypnotic track built on tropically inspired production. Now at work on a full-length project titled Slow Rage, he aims to instill a certain sense of emotional purpose into each song he creates.

“I always write something for someone,” says daydream Masi. “It’s rare [that] I’m writing songs for no reason. I’m always thinking of someone in my mind when I’m creating music and the vibe I can give them, the vibe shared together.”

On June 15, daydream Masi will take the stage at Smokin Grooves Fest in Long Beach, CA. Headlined by Usher and Erykah Badu, the festival also includes performances by artists like Ella Mai, Common, Kali Uchis, and The Pharcyde. Go here for more info.

About daydream Masi:

Born and raised in Akron, daydream Masi grew up in a musically inclined family and began to release his own material around the age of 17. Along with mining inspiration from the inventive artistry of Childish Gambino and Kanye West, he’s continually focused on bringing both raw sensitivity and purposeful world-building to his music — a dynamic he defines as “emotional escapism.” Prior to signing with Interscope, daydream Masi caught buzz with self-released songs like “Marguerite” (a track that’s now amassed over 446K streams on SoundCloud) and “Eucalyptus Tree” (now at over 245K streams).

360 MAGAZINE, Rolls-Royce Eagle VIII

ROLLS-ROYCE UNVEILS WRAITH EAGLE VIII COLLECTION

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars will unveil its latest Collection Car, Wraith Eagle VIII, on the shores of Lake Como at this year’s Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, 24-26 May. Created by the Bespoke Collective at the House of Rolls-Royce, a Collection of just 50 Wraith Eagle VIII motor cars will tell the epic tale of one of the most pivotal moments of the 20th century.

Captain John Alcock and Lieutenant Arthur Brown braved uncharted skies to make the first non-stop transatlantic flight in June, 1919. Contemporaries of Sir Henry Royce, Alcock and Brown flew non-stop from St. John’s, Newfoundland to Clifden, Ireland in a modified First World War Vickers Vimy bomber aircraft. The bi-plane was powered by twin 20.3 litre, 350 bhp, Rolls-Royce Eagle VIII engines. It is from this remarkable engine that this Collection takes its name. Rolls-Royce marks the 100 year anniversary of this feat with a highly contemporary Collection that speaks to today’s adventurers, whilst honouring those who changed the course of history.

I do not know what we should most admire – their audacity, determination, skill, science, their aeroplane, their Rolls-Royce engines – or their good fortune”, commented Sir Winston Churchill, following the perilous journey that brought unfathomable advancement to 20th century society.

Alcock and Brown established a legend and gained a place alongside Sir Donald Campbell in the most select club in the world; those who push beyond previous conceptions of human endeavour to achieve seemingly impossible records on land, water and now, air. Their one binding characteristic? Rolls-Royce power.

The duo suffered every conceivable challenge an aviator could face. The Rolls-Royce Eagle VIII engines were the only components that proved indestructible. The engines propelled the aerial voyage at previously unimagined speeds, averaging 115 mph. Their peril cannot be underestimated. Their radio and navigation instruments failed almost immediately, leaving the pilots flying unaided at night through dense cloud and freezing fog for many hours, sometimes upside down. Eventually they emerged from the cloud and using Brown’s extraordinary skill as a navigator, flew by the stars to the coast of Ireland.

Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, commented, “Wraith Eagle VIII is at once an object of desire; an homage to heroes and a protagonist to today’s visionaries. This Rolls-Royce Collection demonstrates the extraordinary skill of our Bespoke Collective at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, West Sussex. Bespoke remains the jewel in the crown of the marque, creating luxury items that defy the trend of mass luxury manufacturers using ‘tick-box’ options to answer customer demand.”

The exterior of the Wraith Eagle VIII Collection Car is evocative of Alcock and Brown’s compelling night time adventure. Swathed in Gunmetal with a Selby Grey upper two-tone, the colours are separated by a brass feature line, a hint at the detailing that lies within. The black grille vanes draw immediate reference to the Rolls-Royce Eagle VIII engine cowling on the Vickers Vimy aircraft, the wheels are part polished with a translucent shadow finish.

Within, the finely executed interior mirrors the exterior hue. Selby Grey and black leather are accented by brass, redolent of the brass sextant so integral to the success of the transatlantic journey. Executed in a contemporary fashion, the material populates key areas throughout the cockpit of the Collection. Brass speaker covers depict the estimated flight distance of 1,880 miles and ‘RR’ monograms are embroidered in brass coloured thread onto headrests. A flash of brass complements the navigator door paniers, whilst the door of the driver includes a brass plaque with Churchill’s quote commending the duo’s remarkable achievements.

Inspired by the night time flight of our intrepid heroes, the fascia represents a modern-day abstract interpretation of the view the pair would have enjoyed as finally, their craft cleared the thick fog and cloud. In a fusion of contemporary and traditional practises, Smoked Eucalyptus wood is vacuum metalized in gold before being inlaid with silver and copper, to depict the rich detail seen in night time images of the Earth from above. The scene extends to the centre console providing both an emotive and immersive experience for today’s occupants – the cockpit is in perspective with the headliner. Below, the brass-stitched quilted sides of the centre tunnel provide a direct nod to the V12 engined Vickers Vimy.

The clock of a Rolls-Royce is frequently viewed as jewellery, with many patrons choosing this canvas to tell the story of their motor car in miniature. Wraith Eagle VIII is no exception. Our intrepid pioneers recounted that their instrument panel was frozen from the high altitude and the poor conditions, referring to the only illumination coming from the green glow of the control panel lighting and the burst of flame from the starboard engine. In homage to this, the Rolls-Royce Bespoke Collective has masterfully fabricated a clock with an iced background effect which glows a faint green in night time driving conditions. The red hour hand sits atop compass inspired lines on the clock’s fascia, whilst the landing location coordinates are engraved below.

Perhaps the most alluring feature of the Collection is the extraordinary unique starlight headliner. 1,183 starlight fibres show the celestial arrangement at the time of the flight in 1919, the flight path and constellations are embroidered in brass thread, whilst the exact moment the pair left the cloud to navigate by the stars is indicated by a red fibre optic light. Clouds are embroidered and a plaque reading, “The celestial arrangement at the halfway point 00:17am June 15th 1919, 50” 07’ Latitude North – 31” Longitude West” shows the half-way point of the momentous journey.

Just 50 of these highly collectable motor cars will be created for discerning collectors at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, West Sussex – a Centre of Global Luxury Manufacturing Excellence.

ROLLS-ROYCE: THE ‘MIAMI COLLECTION, Six of Six’

ROLLS-ROYCE MOTOR CARS MIAMI INTRODUCES THE ‘MIAMI COLLECTION, Six of Six’

·       With the inspiration of picture perfect sceneries, the ‘Miami Collection, Six of Six’ captures the essence of Miami by day and by night.

·       The Six of Six Collection is made up of three models that reflect the light, sunny and breezy days in Miami.

·      The collection also features three models, which represent the reflection of the moon over Miami and the evening sparkle that provokes this magical city.

Miami days are radiant. The rays of the sun shine bright spreading the warmth of year-round summer throughout the entire city. The clear blue water and its waves move slowly in a flirtatious dance with the creamy shoreline resulting in an inevitable romance. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Miami has taken these magical motifs as inspiration in the creation of a collection of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars unique to Miami. The collection is the result of creative collaboration among the teams and exquisite execution by the House of Rolls-Royce Bespoke Design Studio in Goodwood, England. The exquisite ‘Miami Collection, Six of Six,’ was revealed today at the Southern Automotive Media Association’s annual showcase of drop heads, ‘Topless in Miami.’

Day and night, Miami is an ultra-lux wonderland. In celebration of this unique paradise, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Miami came together to design a collection that reflects just that. A variety of one of a kind motor cars that combine the sheer fascination of Miami with the ultimate in luxury and the best car in the world. The collaboration among the teams and creative execution by the House of Rolls-Royce Bespoke Design Studio in Goodwood, England resulted in the exquisite “Miami Collection”, Six of Six.

Miami by Day

The Six of Six collection is made up of three models that reflect the light, sunny and breezy days.  The first three members of the collection feature Dawn, Ghost and Wraith representing Miami by day, with its overflow of sunshine and seashells, long afternoons of lounging and unwinding as the sun slowly descends and takes cover. With a classic Rolls-Royce two-tone color finish of Carrara White over Latte and 21 inch 14 spoke polished forged wheels. The Interior is appointed in Seashell leather with Oatmeal and Dark Spice accents – accents include a Bespoke two-tone steering wheel in Dark Spice and Oatmeal. The interior woodwork features Open Pore Royal Walnut throughout, including fascia, doors and rear deck of Dawn. And of course, the hand fitted leather seats are heated, ventilated and feature the Rolls-Royce front-seat massage.

Miami by Night

The second half of the collection then features three models: Dawn, Ghost and Wraith, which represent the reflection of the moon over Miami and the evening sparkle that provokes this magical city.

Miami nights are vibrant. As the sun goes down, the city sets the stage for its nightly performance of metropolitan seduction and glamour. From elegant dining to chic dance clubs, the revelation of luxury and beauty is eminent. The exterior finish features is done in Rolls-Royce Dark Indigo with 21 inch 10 spoke part polished wheels. The Interior is appointed in Sunrise leather with Purple Silk accents, Mimosa Negra Open Poor veneer has been hand-finished for the interior woodwork.

Both versions of the collection feature a hand-painted coachline, applied by Rolls-Royce master painter Mark Court in his Goodwood workshop. The Palm Tree coachline represents the umbrella of palm trees that spread shade over the sunny days and decorate the legendary nights. The motif is repeated on the Bespoke Headrests. The collection also includes Bespoke Treadplates with the Palm Tree motif and reading “The Miami Collection 1 of 6.” Each motor car has been hand assembled by the craftsmen and women at Goodwood, home of Rolls-Royce in the south of England.

Like all Rolls-Royce motor cars, all six of the collection are powered by the V-12 engine from Rolls-Royce precisely paired with an 8-speed transmission and independent air suspension designed to create the heralded ‘Rolls-Royce Magic Carpet Ride.’ Immediately recognizable by the Electrically Retracting Spirit of Ecstasy and Electronically Regulated Rolls-Royce Coach Doors with power closing assist and the iconic Self-righting Wheel Centers. Nestled into the door openings, two Integrated Teflon umbrellas are designed into each car, allowing this collection to bring the best of Bespoke to Miami.

The price of these commissions range from approximately $430,000 for Ghost to $470,000 for Dawn Miami Night edition. All six commissions will be on display and offer at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Miami, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Miami is consistently at the top level in delivering world-class customer experiences for Roll-Royce clients every year.
