Madison Beer releases “Dear Society”

Today, rising independent pop singer-songwriter Madison Beer released Dear Society’, the first single off her debut album, due out this summer.  The catchy single, co-written by Madison, is accompanied by a vintage, yet futuristic video, co-directed by The Young Astronauts and Madison. ‘Dear Society’ explores the constant pressure to be perfect in today’s society.  

“’ Dear Society’ is my letter to our culture expressing the pressure I feel from everyday life in today’s world.” Says Madison. “I know this is such a common struggle for so many people in my generation and I want this song to be an anthem for my fans so they know they are not alone; we are all in this struggle together.” Shot with a grainy, vintage aesthetic, the video mix’s elements of cult thrillers and psychological horror as it subtly shares the songs deeper message about the harmful effects of societal pressure.

Today the global Latin music idol, MALUMA, releases his highly anticipated fourth album 11:11, alongside the music video for his new single ‘11PM’.

MERCURY THEATER CHICAGO ANNOUNCES OUTRAGIOUS MUSICAL COMEDY—

MONTY PYTHON’S SPAMALOT

Walter Stearns, Executive Director of Mercury Theater Chicago, announced today that a production of the Tony-Award Winning Best Musical, SPAMALOT. will run on the Mercury Theater stage from August 30 through November 3, 2019. The press opening is Sunday, September 8 at 7pm. Lovingly ripped off from the classic film comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail, SPAMALOT retells the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, featuring ridiculous men in tight pants – not to mention cows, killer rabbits, and French people. SPAMALOT will feature the creative talents of Walter Stearns (Director), Eugene Dizon (Musical Director) and Shanna VanDerwerker (Choreographer).

 

SPAMALOT is an irreverent musical of the legend of King Arthur’s quest for the Holy Grail.  Spurred on by a plague with a 50% chance of pestilence and famine, Arthur recruits knights to accompany him on his quest in pursuit of the salvation of Camelot, and their own destinies.  Along the way they encounter crazy shenanigans including the Lady of the Lake and her Laker Girls, flatulent Frenchmen with flying cows and blood thirsty, killer rabbits.

 

Created by Eric Idle, John Du Prez and Neil Innes, the Broadway production of SPAMALOT won three Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and was followed by two successful West End runs. The show was originally developed and received its world-premiere in Chicago.  Mercury Theater Chicago’s production marks it’s triumphant return to the city where improvisational comedy began.

 

In addition to Stearns, Dizon and VanDerwerker, the creative team and crew will include Angela Weber Miller, U.S.A. (Scenic Designer), Denise Karczewski (Lighting Designer) and Kristi J. Martens, AEA (Production Stage Manager). Mercury Theater Chicago’s production will feature the original Drama Desk Award-winning costume design by Tim Hatley. Complete cast and creative team announcements will be released at a later date.

 

SPAMALOT runs from August 30 through November 3. The performance schedule for SPAMALOT is Wednesdays at 8 pm, Thursdays at 8 pm, Fridays at 8 pm, Saturdays at 3 pm and 8 pm and Sundays at 3 pm. The international star of the urban genre Brytiago, announces the release of “La Mentira Remix” with his partners in crime Myke Towers, Rauw Alejandro, Sech and Cazzu.

“La Mentira Remix” is a collaboration of Brytiago and Rafa Pabón. The remix was produced by Roberto L. Figueroa, better known in the industry as Nekzum, Business Music. The remix is joined by the urban collective crew Myke Towers, Rauw Alejandro, Sech and Cazzugiving this remix a new edge and vibe.

The video was shot in Puerto Rico, themed around the uncovering and toxicness of lies and attraction. All done under the production of Ivan Joel and the art direction of innovator Abner Maldonado, better known as Abez.

“I spent a lot of time planning this remix. I personally called my colleagues and the truth is that the song exceeded all my expectations,” Brytiago.

Recently, Brytiago has been touring through Europe visiting cities such as Madrid and Milan, representing Puerto Rico to its fullest and creating growth and expansion of the urban genre beyond the Latin audience and onto the international market. As of May 2nd Brytiago has started a tour with Darell thru the US that will go thru the month of June.
