Following news that FBI agents executed a search warrant at former president Donald Trump’s Florida home, Mar-a-Lago, today, People For the American Way President Ben Jealous released the following statement:

“The search of former president Trump’s home is a very serious matter. We do not know what evidence the FBI was seeking at Mar-a-Lago, but we do know that obtaining a search warrant requires a judge to have determined there is probable cause to believe there is evidence of a crime at the location being searched, and is unprecedented in the case of a former U.S. president. We also know that the National Archives discovered months ago that the former president mishandled classified documents by removing them from the White House to his Florida home, and that there have been numerous reports of his mishandling classified material while in office. The bottom line is this: tonight’s news reaffirms that in our American democracy, no one is above the law. That includes Donald Trump, even if his behavior often suggests he believes otherwise.”

The biggest financial literacy podcast, Earn Your Leisure, returned to the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta for their 2nd annual Invest Fest. This year’s festival brought out more than 12,000 people for the weekend-long assortment of activities & expert-led discussions focused on investing, entrepreneurship, real estate, and financial literacy. She has been involved in controversy after it was reaffirmed that she is one of the most polluting people in the world with her private plane. But beyond the important consumption that the artist of her private jet makes, there are musical novelties that could pleasantly surprise her followers. According to the British outlet The Sun, the singer would be recording new songs for the near future, an album after two years without releasing one.

The Sun has contacted sources close to Taylor and has confirmed that she is in Nashville writing and recording. She plans to release a more experimental and romantic album, far removed from what we are used to hearing with her own heartbroken songs. Because the artist’s love life is doing very well, thanks to her love affair with Joe Alwyn.

This new album could contain a variety of genres and new sounds. Even Taylor Swift is looking forward to collaborating with up-and-coming producers and singers in the music industry.

It would be the first completely new album we could hear from Taylor Swift in two years. In 2020, she wowed us with two unbelievably great albums in Evermore and Folklore.

In this time, she has also amazed us with the re-recordings of some of her previous musical works, such as Red (Taylor’s Version) and Fearless (Taylor’s Version), thus becoming the owner of the rights to her own songs.
