Today, Bronx R&B sensation Capella Grey returns with an electrifying remix of his song of the, summer Gyalis, featuring Chris Brown Popcaan Capella has captured the hearts of New Yorkers, and fans around the world, as his player’s anthem has traveled the boroughs and become a pop-cultural moment in one of rap’s capital cities. This buoyant new version seems tailor made to stretch the song’s summer domination well into the fall. Listen HERE.

The rich melodies and playful energy of Gyalis have made the song synonymous with the warmer months, and this new version only magnifies these feelings.Gyalis (a popular patois term to describe a playboy) explores Capella’s sensual side, and Popcaan and Brown match that energy, offering their own risque bars over the instrumental that samples Juvenile’s iconic Back That Azz Up. It’s no wonder Brown called the original the hardest shit out right now.

Both Capella’s music peers and fans around the world seem to agree. It’s been remixed by acts like Kranium, A Boogie, French Montana, Tory Lanez, Fivio Foreign, and more. The track peaked at #1 on Apple’s R&B/Soul charts as well as landed the #1 spot on Shazam’s Top 100 in the United States. It also recently hit #64 on Billboard’s Hot 100. Capella Grey has created a new, yet nostalgic R&B sound that invites listeners of all generations into his world. The original track’s video features Capella’s friends, family, and fans rallying around him and championing his success. Capella delivers riveting performance shots utilizing a vintage New York City taxi, a callback to his early days driving a cab in the city. Though he’s newly signed to Capitol, he’s been establishing himself as a singer, songwriter, and star for the past few years. With Gyalis atop the charts and sure to continue to reach new ears with this remix, those times of relentless grind are starting to feel like a distant memory. Success isn’t easy to come by for anybody, but now that Capella is here, he’s ready to celebrate.

Syracuse-born, North Carolina-raised rapper Toosii returns today with a nostalgic video for his hit single, “5’5” featuring Latto. The track is a standout from Toosii’s new mixtape, Thank You For Believing (The Manifestation), out now via South Coast Music Group/Capitol Records. The visual finds Toosii getting romantic and dancing at a throwback house party-all baggy pants, bucket hats, and hoop earrings. It’s a cheerful clip for the feel-good rap track. Watch the video for “5’5” here.

Toosii’s latest ode to love finds the rapper moving from a quick flow to melodic bars. The video for “5’5” – directed by Joan Pabon, produced by Andreas Garcia and shot in Atlanta – stars Toosii at a bumping house party when his “angel” makes her way in. The two shoot pool, take turns at the keg, and find some chemistry on the dancefloor. Latto makes an appearance for her stellar verse, and together, the two take the party outside where they can more freely show off their moves.

“5’5” follows the video for “spin music” with Fivio Foreign, the first single from Thank You For Believing (The Manifestation), the deluxe version of Toosii’s acclaimed 2021 mixtape. The “spin music” visual mirrors the song’s kinetic energy, jumping between scenes of ATVs, parties, and bedrooms in a dizzying array of lenses, camera angles, and special effects. VIBE wrote that the track “finds the two New Yorkers delivering what could be the city’s latest drill anthem.”

The “5’5” video continues Toosii’s unbelievable run from a grinding upstart to becoming a globally celebrated rapper. Earlier this year, he surpassed one billion streams, proof his music is resonating. And now, with a proven ability to consistently churn out diverse, vivid, and affecting music, Toosii shows no signs of slowing down. His charisma and screen presence are obvious in the video for “5’5,” marking another stunning performance from one of rap’s most exciting young artists.

Toosii, who has surpassed one billion combined global streams across all of his songs to date, gave a powerful performance at last week’s Rolling Loud Festival. Today, he shared his electrifying new single, spin music Ft. Fivio Foreign, which is the closing track on The Manifestation. The official video, also released today, mirrors the song’s kinetic energy, jumping between scenes of ATVs, parties and bedrooms as Toosii and Fivio perform, all rendered with a dizzying array of lenses, camera angles and special effects. Jerami Lam, who helmed the video for Fivio’s Jumpin, directed. View HERE.

Brooklyn-based rapper/songwriter Fivio Foreign, known for such hits as Big Drip (and the Gold-certified remix featuring Quavo and Lil Baby), Unruly and Trust, has also collaborated recently with Lil Tjay, Polo G, Russ Millions and Tion Wayne, among others.

Toosii will launch the Thank You For Believing tour, his first-ever U.S. headline outing, in the fall. Tickets are on sale HERE but are going quickly with shows in New York City, Boston and Chicago already sold out. A November 6 date has been added in Cleveland and the November 22 show in Atlanta has been moved to a larger venue, due to the demand for tickets. Toosii will join Gucci Mane & Friends at Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi on August 28 and perform at upcoming festivals such as Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits and Rolling Loud LA.

Other standout tracks on Thank You For Believing (The Manifestation) include the cinematic, classically-influenced let me know ft. Hotboii, the poignant mercedez pt 2, which finds Toosii reflected on the tragic character introduced on mercedez from 2020’s Platinum Heart, and heart cold. Uproxx included heart cold in its round-up of All The Best New Music From This Week upon its release earlier this month. Brooklyn Vegan said, [Toosii’s] croon sounds great on this catchy, melancholic song. Okayplayer hailed the accompanying visual as one of the Best Rap Videos of the Week.

Released on May 7, 2021, Thank You For Believing earned praise from tastemakers like The Fader, Complex, and The Source. XXL named Toosii among their esteemed 2021 Freshman Class and hailed 55’ (feat. Latto) as one of the Best Hip-Hop Songs of 2021. HotNewHipHop observed, He’s one of the strongest young faces rising in the rap game, impressing the masses with his emotional melodies and his raw storytelling. VMAN declared, Rising artist Toosii is taking over the rap universe.

With a gift for drenching real lyrics in rich emotion, Toosii is one of rap’s most relatable new stars. The Syracuse-born, Raleigh-based artist has captured the public’s imagination, offering honest tales of street life and lost love, among other moving themes that have vaulted him from a lost kid, surrounded by tragedy, to a national sensation.

Thank You For Believing (The Manifestation) is a victory lap of sorts, but rest assured, Toosii is showing no signs of slowing down. He grinds like he’s up next, but everyone who’s been paying attention knows he’s already arrived.

Produced by KeanuGoinStoopid x Irate Genius and released via EMPIRE, Top Bitch is an explosive track filled with bossed up flexes. The seductive music video directed by Mills Miller brings the fiery single to life.

Top Bitch is reclaiming any accomplishment you want as a woman. It doesn’t matter what you wanna do. If you tell yourself that you’re not gonna stop, that you can do it, then you’re a top bitch, period,” says Chinese Kitty.

The track is the first single off Chinese Kitty’s full-length debut studio album SMD slated to arrive later this month – which will include features from French Montana, Fivio Foreign, Dave East and LightSkinKeisha. Fans can expect a slew of bangers and unapologetic bars along with more lavish music videos. Kitty will be performing tracks off the project at this year’s Rolling Loud (New York City) where she will be gracing the festival stage for the second time.

SMD follows Kitty’s 2019 mixtape Kitty Bandz which features knockout tracks such as Opps feat. Cuban Doll and Hitstick.

About Chinese Kitty
Rather than sugarcoat a single word, Chinese Kitty says everything she needs to say in her music. There’s no pretense and no cap. Instead, she just bodies beats with unapologetic East Coast intensity, slips into seductive bars like an apex temptress, and doles out knockout hooks with fire and force. She dropped Kitty Walk as her debut in 2018. Through hustling and emerging as an it-girl in New York nightlife, she organically cultivated an impressive social media audience. After DM-ing Hitmaka, she wound up on the powerhouse remix for Thotbox alongside Young MA, Dreezy, DreamDoll, and Mulatto. She revealed her Kitty Bandz mixtape in 2019, yielding anthems such as Opps feat. Cuban Doll (524K Spotify streams), Hitstick (293k Spotify streams), and Stories of a Ghetto Kitty (271K Spotify streams). In the aftermath of its arrival, she lit up the stage at Rolling Loud New York and drew the attention of Noisey and more. Building an audience of nearly 4 million followers across social media platforms, the rapper, and entrepreneur unleashes one unfiltered and uncompromising banger after another on her full-length debut album, SMD [EMPIRE].
