ABOUT KASH DOLL

Detroit native Kash Doll has impacted the music industry with a commanding force, dropping street-earned truths with her throwback wordplay and powerful bars. The one-two combination of spirit and sass announced her as fiery female force in 2019 after quietly amassing 30 million-plus on-demand streams, garnering the BMI Social Star Award and “Issa Wave Award” at the BET Social Awards, securing a new management deal with Title 9 Productions and inking a recording contract with Republic Records. An unbelievable story brought her to this point. Losing her dad on just her first birthday, she always held down multiple jobs to support her mom and siblings. And at 18, she started investing in herself eventually opening two beauty bars and funding her own music career. She made waves on the 2014 independent debut mixtape, Keisha Vs. Kash Doll.

Following 2016’s Trapped In The Dollhouse, she developed a presence as a touring force and earned coveted co-signs from Drake, Big Sean, Rick Ross, Remy Ma, and many more. The 2018 The Vault mixtape captured #1 on multiple mixtape sites as her debut single for Republic Records “Ice Me Out” and its 2 Chainz-assisted official remix clocked 85 million-plus total streams. Last year, Kash Doll also released a project solely for her fans titled Brat Mail to thank them for all their continued support. The project garnered over 30 million global streams and features the break out single “Check.” Shortly before Brat Mail, Kash released one of her biggest singles to date, “For Everybody,” which racked up over 101 million YouTube/VEVO views independently. Outside of music, this boss runs Kash Doll Enterprises and does charity work around her hometown. Her city bestowed the “Spirit of Detroit” Award upon her.

Li Heat is Heating Up

By Hannah DiPilato

Breakout rapper Li Heat just dropped a new single featuring Big Yavo called “Titi.” With a funky beat and rhythmic bars, this is a song to add to your hip-hop playlist.

Originally from Birmingham, AL, Li Heat is an up and coming viral rap phenomenon prepared to take over the industry’s new hip-hop wave. Heat knew he wanted to do something out of the ordinary from a young age. Growing up in Birmingham, he began accumulating mild offenses until he was put on house arrest freshman year of high school. After his mischievous younger years he attended boot camp and eventually graduated high school which led to a mundane job at Church’s Chicken. He knew he wanted more than this and began his journey of becoming a rapper.

Heat took note of rappers around him and how successful they were able to become by doing something they loved. He too wanted to be financially stable simply by creating pieces of music he was proud of. Heat’s inspirations include NoCap, Rylo Rodriguez, Tee Grizzley, Luh Soldier, and Lil Baby which shows through in his music. By incorporating the same kinds of lyrics and beats as these rappers, the influence of current-day popular rap shines through. However, he adds enough of his own style to stay bold in the world of rap and is able to stand out among many other breakthrough artists. The sound of his music is recognizable and will draw people in, but unique enough to keep listeners engaged.

Heat began recording music in December 2019 and slowly learned the ways of the studio. His most notable track “007” was released to Spotify on May 27, 2020. This song was an instant viral success and now with over 3 million views on youtube is his biggest single to date. The “rambunctious, trap-flavored, warm tune” brought fame and success to the young rapper. Because of the song’s simple, yet catchy set up, thousands of people became fans of Heat and he now has over 30,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Popular rappers Young Thug and Gucci Mane also became fans and Heat has since collaborated with them both.

Li Heat’s style is catchy, steady, and will instantly draw in music listeners everywhere. Heat is excited to be working on finishing his debut project, which will exhibit his growth as an artist. The Alabama-bred rapper is on the verge of becoming a hip-hop sensation after only being present in the music industry for not even a year.

Listen to Heat’s new single “Titi” and watch the music video here. Catch up with him on Instagram to see all of his upcoming projects.

Fredo Bang – Monsters

“’Monsters’ is a record about people who hide their true nature and intentions. In life you come across many different monsters… from being in this business to the average person you meet. With everything happening around justice and equality, it’s my way of letting people know to be careful of who you trust.” – FREDO BANG

“Fredo delivers his nastiest effort to date. Most Hated is equal parts grimy and triumphant.”  – DJ BOOTH

“With the 2015 arrest that threatened to derail his rising career now decidedly in the rearview, Fredo is back with a newfound sense of purpose: more viral, more hardworking, and more determined to advance than ever before.” – FADER

“New Gen Winter 2019–His city’s favored up-and-comer and its most versatile rising act. Songs like ‘No Mo’ show his penchant for soul-searching narratives and music-as-medicine melodies; the success of ‘Oouuh’ proves he has a one-of-a-kind ability to reach all sides of the hip-hop and R&B spectrum.” – HYPEBEAST

“Known for his tales of life in the streets, the rapper behind records like “Story to Tell” and “Oouuh” shows just how it goes down in his hometown.” – XXL

Fredo Bang, whose non-stop string of viral street anthems have generated over 154 million streams in the U.S. (over 165 million globally), keeps the momentum boiling this summer with “Monsters,” the brand new single + video available today via Def Jam Recordings.

Fredo Bang made his mixtape debut in 2018, with 2 Face Bang (containing “Oouuh”). Fredo’s brand was established on Big Ape, his eponymous 20-song mixtape (with “Story To Tell” (Remix) and “Gangsta Talk” featuring NLE Choppa). Shortly after entering a partnership with Def Jam in the fall, Fredo issued the 16-song Pain Made Me Numb, containing the singles “Cap A Lot” and “Slidin.”

Prior to the Covid-19 hiatus, Fredo was looking forward to hitting the road as the highest-billed supporting act on Moneybagg’s 26-city cross-country “Time Served Tour,” with dates running from March through May. Details of the rescheduled tour will be announced soon.

ABOUT FREDO BANG:
With his deep, barking drawl and a natural affinity for melody, Fredo Bang (Fredrick Givens) is the next rhymer to rise out the Bayou. The highs and lows of his life encompass turning down a scholarship at Texas Southern U. in order to study closer to home, and a stiff jail sentence for aggravated battery that was commuted in 2018. At age 23, the Baton Rouge native’s rhymes have now won the South. He has collaborated with everyone from YNW Melly to Moneybagg Yo to Kevin Gates. 2018’s 2 Face Bang mixtape put Fredo on the map with the breakout single “Oouuhh” and a streak of hits including “Shootas on the Roof” and “Father” (over 22 million YouTube views). The street took deeper notice in 2019, with the Big Ape mixtape and a non-stop string of regional single + video hits that included “Oouuh” Remix featuring Kevin Gates, “Gangsta Talk” featuring NLE Choppa, and “Story To Tell” (Remix) featuring Moneybagg Yo. Fredo entered into a partnership with Def Jam in the fall 2019. The hits continued unabated with “Face Down” and “Vest Up,” then “Yo Slime,” and “Waitin 4” (with a beat from Hardbody B-Eazy and DJ Chose). Fredo’s next mixtape, Pain Made Me Numb hit in November, with the single + video releases “Cap A Lot” and “Slidin.” April 2020 brought the back-to-back releases of the single + video “Trust Issues,” and Fredo’s fourth mixtape, Most Hated. Fredo’s next string of new releases, “Receipts,” “Top,” and “Monsters” point the way to his fifth mixtape, In The Name Of Gee, coming soon.

TMG Fre$h × Tee Grizzley

Recording artist TMG FRE$H releases his newest single this week titled “Champagne Cry“, featuring Detroit rapper, Tee Grizzley. FRE$H brings his synthy vocals and parabolic lyrics about seeing his kindness being taken as weakness to the Audi produced after hours track.

“Champagne Cry” stands as the first collaboration between TMG FRE$H and Tee Grizzley. The pair take to the 808 heavy beat to show out for the harsh truth of the champagne lifestyle.

“We’re both very laid back – almost reserved. I think we both sensed that integrity in each other and we’ve been good friends ever since.” says FRE$H about meeting Grizzley and recording their first single together. “This single came about while we were playing different records and when I played Champagne Cry Tee’s eyes lit up. He was like, ‘Bro, let me jump on that.’ Everything else was history.”

With FRE$H’s melodic vocals and Grizzley’s hard-hitting raps, the duo perfectly bounce their styles off each other in this single celebrating the hustle of holding true to your principles, rising to every occasion and to keep on shining!

“Champagne Cry” drops months after FRE$H debuted his single, “Anybody”, earlier this year. The accompanying music video, directed by Chancellor Warhol, racked up over one million views and became an instant digital hit. TMG FRE$H has successfully positioned himself as “one-to-watch” for the remainder of 2020 and doesn’t plan on slowing the momentum in his music career anytime soon.
