DEADPOOL #1 Cover Via MARTIN COCCOLO

DEADPOOL IS BACK

Deadpool’s next era begins this November and he’ll have to be more lethal than ever to handle what’s coming his way! Deadpool’s new ongoing series will be written by Alyssa Wong, known for her acclaimed work on thrilling books like Star Wars: Doctor Aphra and Iron Fist, and drawn by Martin Coccolo, the artist currently wowing readers in the action-packed Hulk vs. Thor: Banner of War crossover. The two rising Marvel stars will take out their pent up aggression on everyone’s pizza-faced, jabber-mouthed, misguided, hate-to-love, love-to-hate fave in new Deadpool adventures loaded with riotous violence and relentless body horror. Deadpool’s latest solo exploits will kick off with a bang as a new mercenary group sends Deadpool on one of his most dangerous missions, an intoxicating villain unleashes a twisted plan on Wade’s body with horrifying side effects, and a hot new romance arrives on the scene to drive Wade crazy!

The world knows Wade Wilson is one of the top mercenary/assassins in the Marvel Universe, even if he is simultaneously the most annoying one…but he’s pushing to make that recognition official as he auditions for the elite group known as the Atelier. Now, he has 48 hours to kill one of the world’s most famous supervillains. Only problem? He’s been kidnapped, and something…strange…is GROWING INSIDE HIM.

“I love chaos. And what is Deadpool if not chaos incarnate? I’m honored to take the reins for Wade’s next solo adventure–expect romance, expect body horror, and expect a wild time!” Wong promises.

“Some time ago I got to do a ten-page story for Deadpool: Black, White & Blood. It was an awesome albeit short experience which left me wanting for more, so when I was asked if I wanted to take the reins of a new Deadpool series I responded with a resounding yes!” Coccolo said. “Then I got to read Alyssa’s script and I loved it! Their script is inventive, dynamic and a lot of fun and working with Alyssa is an absolute joy. They are the best! So I honestly couldn’t be happier with this opportunity and I think, or at least hope, that readers notice how fun this project is for everyone involved and hopefully they hop on the ride with us!”

Hulk Vs. Thor: Banner of War Alpha

Launching in April, Marvel’s biggest hitters will duke it out for their 60th anniversaries in “HULK VS THOR: BANNER OF WAR!” Donny Cates, the acclaimed writer behind both HULK and THOR, will team up with rising star artist Martin Coccolo in a story that will smash both character’s current sagas together in a glorious showdown! The five-part crossover will kick off in April’s “HULK VS. THOR: BANNER OF WAR ALPHA #1” before exploding in the pages of both Hulk and Thor’s hit solo titles throughout May and June.

In May’s “THOR #25”, part two of “Banner of War,” Banner’s newfound control of his rage is prolonging the fight more than Thor expected, and with Banner holding his own, Thor must get creative. Odin‘s breakthrough look into Banner’s psyche seems to slow the violence, but will it be enough?

Later that month in “HULK #7,” part three of “Banner of War,” Iron Man interrupts a pivotal moment of Hulk and Thor’s battle to settle a score. Equipped with new “Celestial Hulkbuster” armor of his own design, Tony is convinced that he can ensure Thor’s victory and Hulk’s capture. But sometimes what you don’t know really can hurt you…Check out some of May’s covers now, including a stunning connecting pair by artist Chrissie Zullo, and witness the fight that will smash the Marvel Universe at its core when “HULK VS. THOR: BANNER OF WAR ALPHA #1” arrives on April 27!

HULK VS. THOR: BANNER OF WAR

HULK’S RAGE MEETS THOR’S THUNDER IN EPIC NEW CROSSOVER!

Marvel’s biggest hitters duke it out for their 60th anniversaries in Donny Cates and Martin Coccolo’s HULK VS. THOR: BANNER OF WAR, launching in April

Donny Cates is currently taking two of Marvel’s most iconic characters on transformative journeys in the pages of HULK and THOR. And this April, the acclaimed writer will smash both sagas together in an all-new epic: HULK VS. THOR: BANNER OF WAR!

Celebrating the two heroes’ 60th anniversaries, this five-part crossover will kick off in HULK VS. THOR: BANNER OF WAR ALPHA #1 before exploding in the pages of both Hulk and Thor’s hit solo titles throughout May and June. Tackling ongoing mysteries from both series and featuring artwork by rising star Martin Coccolo and covers by legendary artist Gary Frank, the story promises to deliver Thor and Hulk’s most glorious battle yet and the showdown will have a shocking impact on both characters’ futures.

In the aftermath of the opening arc of HULK and the “God of Hammers” arc currently unfolding in THOR, both Bruce Banner and Thor Odinson have both undergone massive changes, but one thing remains constant — their heated rivalry! When mysterious circumstances bring them into conflict once more, will the God of Thunder be able to triumph against a Bruce Banner who can now control his rage?

“Well, I was a little surprised that Marvel approached me to write this, if I’m being honest. I’m mostly known for writing very small, very quiet, intimate comics, so I had to—ha!! Sorry. Couldn’t keep that up. Yeah, this is gonna be bonkers as hell, guys,” Cates said. “We’re going to break EVERYTHING! Happy birthday, Hulk and Thor! Hope you enjoy MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF VIOLENCE!”

“Where do I even start? I get to celebrate Hulk and Thor’s 60th anniversaries, which is already amazing and a dream come true, but I get to do it with an insane script by the great Donny Cates AND the support of an incredible group of editors? That’s just ridiculous!” Coccolo said. “I’m absolutely honored by this opportunity and I’ve been giving it my 100%. Hopefully readers will agree. I can only say to all the fans out there to strap yourselves ’cause this is going to be a wild ride!”

Be there for the fight that will smash the Marvel Universe at its core when HULK VS. THOR: BANNER OF WAR ALPHA #1 arrives on April 27! For more information, visit Marvel.com.

MADAME TUSSAUDS HOLLYWOOD WAX MUSEUM

When you walk through Hollywood, you can find 2,690 stars along the sidewalk calling out famous and celebrated singers, songwriters, actors, directors, and anyone who has had a lasting impact on Hollywood. You can also escape the heat and bustle of the city by exploring Madame Tussauds where you are treated to life-size replicas of all your favorite Hollywood Superstars.

Madame Tussauds Hollywood features three floors filled with wax replicas of singers, late night hosts, actors and actresses, and even famous characters from movies like Boris Karloff as The Mummy. You are first greeted with a wax figure of Baywatch Zac Efron in front of the Santa Monica Skyline, a massive King Kong next to the Empire State building, and a game face ready Kobe Bryant. After you purchase your tickets, you are welcomed into the museum and given free rein to tour and visit all three floors. Following COVID-19 guidelines, guests are to start from the third floor and make our way down for one-way traffic to flow better. The first-floor features Hollywood’s newest members and current pop culture icons: Demi Lovato, Jason Derulo, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Lopez, Kylie Jenner, Morgan Freeman, Simon Cowell and more. And not forgetting to mention, the brand-new Ariana Grande wax figure dressed in her Rule The World music video outfit. The figurine is also posed in a pink-themed set from her famous 7 Rings video with a pyramid of champagne glasses behind her. This is a new piece for the museum and not yet updated in all of Madame Tussauds locations, so it is definitely not to be missed!

On the second floor, you pass Meryl Streep, Obama, and Jim Carrey; the second floor also features all of old Hollywood’s stars: Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland, John Wayne, esteemed directors: Alfred Hitchcock, Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino, and even actors portraying characters from popular films of that era: Hannibal Lector (Anthony Hopkins) locked in his cell, Danny (John Travolta) next to his red-hot rod, and Edward Scissorhands (Johnny Depp). After you tour through Old Hollywood, you arrive at the last floor featuring all your favorite stars from the 90’s: Britney Spears, Tupac, Snoop Dog, Michael Jackson, Shakira, Beyoncé, Madonna, and so on. This section features the ultimate 90’s bedroom and would transport you back in time.

After your trip down memory lane, you will arrive the last feature in the museum, a Marvel theme wax exhibition, where you can check out a few Marvel cast members figures in full costume: Spiderman, Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), etc. Though it is not compulsory, you can also purchase the 4D Marvel Movie screening for an additional $5 for an immersive experience. The glasses the museum provides will allow you to see the 3D aspect of the film, and be prepared for sound effects, water, bubbles and even ropes to hit your feet. All of these elements make for an out of this world experience, the movie is 10 minutes long. Make sure to put any items you don’t want getting wet away! If you are not a fan of getting wet, I recommend sitting father back. Stop by the gift shop on your way out and grab a cup, key chain, or shirt to remember your visit to Madame Tussauds Hollywood.

In addition to offering a fun and safe day out of the house, you are also able to learn about the process of making a wax figure, see examples of the process, and in pre-Covid times purchase your own wax mold of your hand. It takes about 800 hours to create a wax figure, beginning with the detailed measurement of the model from the circumference of your head to the width of your ankle. Every measurement is specific to ensure the wax figure looks as accurate as possible. After the measurements are taken, workers begin sculpting, painting, designing, making the costumes and finally dressing and staging the wax figures. This is no easy task and while some figures are more life-like and realistic than others, they are all impressive. It really makes you question who in the room was real and who was a wax figure! The detail in every figure is astonishing, from freckles, scars, tattoos, and hair. It feels as if you are really meeting and interacting with these stars rather than standing next to a wax figure.

Come meet your favorite artists and movie characters at Madame Tussauds Hollywood today! To buy tickets for Madame Tussauds, visit the website or buy them in person.

Madame Tussauds New York Wax Museum

By: Emily Bunn × Vaughn Lowery × Armon Hayes

Have you ever dreamed of taking seat in the Oval Office, starring on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, or joining the Ghostbusters crew? With Madame Tussauds, what may have seemed impossible is now in fingertips reach. The wax museum hosts five floors of interactive, celebrity wax figures. Positioning the heart of New York City in Times Square, guests of Madame Tussauds wax museum are surrounded by star-struck fun. 360 Magazine visited the wax museum and had a VIP experience with by our favorite figures.

There are several different zones for interactive experiences at Madame Tussauds. In “Walk the Catwalk” guests will be coached by model Alessandra Ambrosio to embrace their best catwalk. Guests can even get their catwalk video recorded to share their strut online. Practices your poses with Heidi Klum and perfect your smize with Tyra Banks. What better place to practice your model moves than In the Fashion Capital of the World?

New York is also known, of course, for the city’s spectacular Broadway productions. Guests can become a part of the interactive, behind-the-scenes journey of exploring the most iconic Broadway shows. Whether you want to follow in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s footsteps and compose Broadway music scores, style the cast’s wardrobe, or act and sing your heart out, you can play your part at Madame Tussauds’ New York Broadway experience. Don’t miss your curtain call on this exciting opportunity.

If you’re looking for a more action-packed experience, be sure to visit Madam Tussaud’s Marvel exhibit! Save the world and rescue humanity alongside your favorite superheroes including The Hulk, The Hulk Buster, Captain America, Thor, Nick Fury, Iron Man, and Spiderman. This interactive Marvel experience lets guests develop their Spidey-senses and get closer to their favorite heroes than ever before.

After you’re done assuming your role as Captain America in the Marvel zone, get ready to use your powers in the Faceoff with King Kong zone. Featuring the largest animatronic in New York City, Madame Tussauds-in collaboration with Legendary Pictures and Warner Brothers-invites guests to battle King Kong. Guests will begin their daring adventure on the infamous Skull Island, in which they must evade jungle creatures and unearth iconic artifacts from the film. Along their voyage, guests will be accompanied by a new, wax figure of Captain James Conrad before battling the beast. The eighteen-foot tall, multi-sensory animatronic head of King Kong is sure to leave guests in awe and terror. Hear King Kong’s roar and unearth the secrets of skull island with this ferocious exhibition.

If you’re looking for more thrilling spooks, check out Madame Tussaud’s Ghostbusters zone. In honor of the return of the loved franchise, the museum has built a specialty experience inspired by the 2016 film. Escapade along the eerie, underground NY subway tracks and explore the dark basement of a haunted mansion while keeping your eyes peeled for ghosts and goblins galore. Beware of several spooks along the way as you bust ghosts and meet stars such as Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Melisa McCarthy, and Kristen Wiig. Fans of the franchise can even take a spin on the Ecto-2.

Another star-studded zone Madame Tussauds offers is MTNY Studios exhibit. Whether you’ve dreamed of being a celebrity on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, forecasting breaking news alongside Michael Strahan, or reporting on the weather with Al Roker, you can be the TV star you’ve always wanted to be.

Finally, the last zone Madame Tussaud offers is the Oval Office experience. Get up close and personal with influential leaders of the past and present, like Barack Obama and George Washington. Instead of reading about history in a textbook, experience making history in-person alongside your favorite politicos.

Besides the museum’s seven interactive zones, there are also two riveting experiences: the Marvel 4D Film, and the Coney Island Carnival Carnage 7D Game.

With Marvel’s 4D experience, guests can feel a part of the movie with 3D film technologies including experiential sensory effects. Viewers are put in the middle of the action when viewing this incredible 4D film. Feel the wind and water, and even smells the same scents at the same time as your favorite heroes in the movie.

Guests are invited to face their greatest nightmares in the Coney Island Carnival Carnage Game. This 7D, multi-sensory experience invites guests to shoot lasers at enemies, ride carnival attractions, and spin the Wheel of Misfortune–all while running from killer clowns. This adrenaline-packed nightmare promises a rich gaming experience that may keep you awake at night–that is, if you can escape.

All of Madame Tussauds’ zones and experiences allow guests to get up more close and personal with their favorite Hollywood celebrities and figures than ever before. Madame Tussauds is available for group visits, school visits, corporate events, and even birthday parties. We went on a Friday afternoon, and had a blast exploring the five stories of experiential fun. The figures we found most lifelike were Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus. All three figures of Michael Jackson impressed us, and we loved seeing his evolution through time. Our favorite zone was Ghostbusters– the subway set mirrored NYC’s own actual subways, which felt both surreal and cinematic. Those interested in visiting Madame Tussauds can visit this website for ticket purchase and further details. The wax museum is currently operating at reduced capacity and is following all COVID-19 protocols.

Marvel's Indigenous Voices

Marvel’s Indigenous Voices

Marvel announced a new, special series of variant covers written and drawn by the comic book industry’s biggest indigenous artists for MARVEL’S VOICES: INDIGENOUS VOICES #1.

One of the artists included in the project is Jeffrey Veregge, who recently finished an exhibition at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian.

Veregge will provide the art for covers featuring characters like Black Panther, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Black Widow, Captain America, Hulk and Thor.

Veregge said his own people, the S’Klallam Tribe, have used an art style known as Formline to tell their stories for generations. He added that his style is an extension of the art he has seen used by Native artists from his region.

“As a lifelong comic fan, artist and Native American, I am truly honored to work with Marvel Comics today. Not only to create pieces that represent a voice for Indigenous People in honor of Native American Heritage month, but also for the opportunity to share the same storytelling spirit of my ancestors by sharing the tales of some of today’s heroes,” Veregge said.

These variant covers will be available in comic book shops in November, and you can see each and every one of them right here.

Marvel's EMPYRE #4 GETS SECOND PRINTING and is announced inside of 360 MAGAZINE.

EMPYRE #4 GETS SECOND PRINTING

The fourth issue of Marvel’s cosmic epic, EMPYRE, which pits the Kree/Skrull alliance against the Cotati, is getting a second printing after the first printing sold out.

Love prevails in the middle of an intergalactic war in this issue written by Al Ewing and Dan Slott with art by Valerio Schiti.

The first issue of EMPYRE was released in July, and second printings of the first three issues are already available, but the shocking fourth issue will hit comic shops for more fans to experience the story that Marvel said has reshaped the Marvel Universe forever.

The second printing of the fourth issue will also have a variant cover, which will be revealed by Marvel at a later date.

The story continues next week when the fifth issue hits shelves. Readers looking to catch up on EMPYRE can click right here to see every must-read issue in the run, all of which are available digitally and at local comic shops.
