Marvel Second Printings

Fans will get a chance to dive into Marvel Comics‘ most exciting new launches and ongoing series with new printings of “MARAUDERS ANNUAL #1,” “MOON KNIGHT #7,” “SILK #1,” “DAREDEVIL: WOMAN WITHOUT FEAR #1,” “SILVER SURFER REBIRTH #1”, “DEVIL’S REIGN #3,” and “CONAN THE BARBARIAN #1 FACSIMILE EDITION!” These sold-out issues will be available at comic shops starting on March 9, complete with new second printing covers.

No one is safe from Kingpin‘s wrath in Chip Zdarsky and Marco Checchetto‘s “DEVIL’S REIGN #3.” New York City stands at the brink of disaster as MAYOR WILSON FISK has at last reached a breaking point, with an army of supervillains at his back, and a deputized crew of supervillainous THUNDERBOLTS on the streets and in every police station. Worse still, he’s put the Marvel Universe’s most powerful tools into (all six) hands of one of its most diabolical minds, unaware of the disaster that could befall the entire city as a result! As a gauntlet of supervillains stands between Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Daredevil and liberating the heroes who have been captured by Fisk’s law enforcement, they’re all about to learn that the danger is closer than they ever thought possible.

Chip Zdarsky and Rafael De Latorre‘s “DAREDEVIL: WOMAN WITHOUT FEAR #1” brings readers the next pulse-pounding chapter in the saga of New York City’s Guardian Devil, this time starring Elektra as Daredevil! This continuation of Zdarsky’s landmark DAREDEVIL run spins directly out of the shocking revelations in the pages of DEVIL’S REIGN! Elektra is the world’s deadliest assassin—and she’s taken a vow not to kill. Someone puts themselves directly in her path with deadly consequences. What else would you expect from the Marvel Universe’s Greatest Hunter?!

A new crew of X-Men set sail in Steve Orlando and Creees Lee‘s “MARAUDERS ANNUAL #1”! With Kate Pryde at the helm, the Marauders are ready to renew their mission of mutant rescue! She’s got the mission—all she needs now is a new boat and a fresh crew to match. Pryde and Bishop must unite a crew of mutants, new and old, to spring Daken from imprisonment at the hands of a leader who’s as cruel as he is charismatic: the primal provocateur known as Brimstone Love! It’s the Marauders versus the Theater of Pain, a torture troupe that’s set up shop in Xavier’s School’s old backyard! Come aboard for the first adventure as Orlando takes the helm with the X-Men’s sea-faring mutant team.

Joined by artist Federico Sabbatini, Jed MacKay‘s hit run on Moon Knight continues in “MOON KNIGHT #7!” How do you fight someone that no one knows? Moon Knight is out for blood and hits the streets armed only with a name, but he soon finds out that in the twilight half-world of NYC supervillainy, sometimes the streets hit back. And while he’s fighting his way through the super-crime underworld, he’d better watch his back.

The “best character ever” is back in her own series and about to glam up the whole Marvel Universe in Rainbow Rowell and Roge Antonio‘s “SHE-HULK #1!” Jennifer Walters is no longer savage and needs to put her life back together. She’s got a career to rebuild, friends to reconnect with (and maybe represent in a court of law), and enemies to… well, she may not want to connect with them, but they are definitely going to connect with her. And the last page of this first issue is going to send Jen down a road she’s never traveled and that will shake up her life and possibly the whole Marvel Universe.

Don’t miss the comics debut of stunning storyteller Emily Kim and the return of legendary comic artist Takeshi Miyazawa in “SILK #1!” Cindy Moon returns as the web-spinning Spider-Hero SILK in an all-new, all-star series! As Silk gains popularity in the public eye, Cindy is questioning her place in the world. But existentialism will have to wait when a powerful new villain is turned loose! In a race against the clock, Silk discovers the dangers of ancient Korean magic—and social media.

Legendary creators Ron Marz and Ron Lim return to tell a story set during their fan-favorite run of SILVER SURFER in “SILVER SURFER REBIRTH #1!” Someone has stolen the Reality Gem, an object that allows the user to fulfill any wish no matter the consequences! But whoever has taken it is doing things like bringing back the dead hero Captain Mar-Vell. It’s up to Silver Surfer to team up with the least likely of allies, Thanos, to find the Gem and restore reality to its proper form. The second printing variant cover of “SILVER SURFER REBIRTH #1” will feature all-new artwork by Ron Lim.

Also returning to shops will be the special facsimile edition of “CONAN THE BARBARIAN (1970) #1!” Over fifty years ago, legendary writer Roy Thomas teamed with visionary artist Barry Windsor-Smith for the first comic book adaptation of Robert E. Howard‘s pulp novel icon—introducing True Believers to swords and sorcery in the Mighty Marvel Manner! Conan comic books soon became a huge, industry-changing success story – and it all began with “CONAN THE BARBARIAN #1” in 1970! Join the young Cimmerian warrior as he and an Aesir raiding party invade the land of Vanaheim—setting Conan on a path of adventure leading to winged demons, a dark temple, and the mysterious Star-Stone, which would offer a vision of Conan’s future as a king! It’s one of the all-time great Marvel comic books, boldly re-presented in its original form, ads and all!

New Marvel Comics Series – Strange

This March, make way for the new Sorcerer Supreme! With Doctor Strange dead, another sorcerer has taken the title, or should we say Sorceress? Clea, mistress of the Dark Dimension and Stephen Strange’s powerful partner, will rise to the challenge of defending earth from mystical and otherworldly danger in writer Jed MacKay’s STRANGE #1! Featuring artwork by AMAZING SPIDER-MAN artist Marcelo Ferreira, this all-new ongoing series will spin directly out of the story still unfolding in MacKay’s DEATH OF DOCTOR STRANGE. Readers should stay tuned to the hit limited series to see the tragedy and drama that leads into this exciting turn of events!

Haunted by her recently returned memories, Clea longs to bring Stephen Strange back from the dead! But when a mysterious group attacks the magical realm, Clea, now the sole protector of Earth against magical threats, must rise to the duties of Sorcerer Supreme. Don’t miss the shocking twists, new villains, and unbelievable magical feats as Clea takes Marvel magic to places it’s never gone before!

Here’s what MacKay had to say about continuing this unprecedented Doctor Strange saga:

“After the apocalyptic events of The Death of Doctor Strange, there’s a new Sorcerer Supreme in residence at 177A Bleecker Street, and a new Doctor Strange- Clea Strange. And she’s got her work cut out for her- when she’s not fighting off the magical gangsters of the Blasphemy Syndicate, or battling undead super-monsters, she’s going after what’s hers: the late Stephen Strange. Clea is of the Faltine, that race of Warlords and conquerors, and like her relatives Dormammu and Umar, she will not be thwarted in her desires, not even by the mysterious Harvestman standing in her way.

“It’s been really exciting to open up a new chapter in the world of Doctor (Clea) Strange, to get some new adventures going and some new weirdies on the table, and I can’t wait for folks to come along with us!”

Enter a thrilling new age of Marvel mysticism when STRANGE #1 hits stands on March 2.

Black Cat: Infinity Score via C.F. Villa for Marvel for use by 360 Magazine

Black Cat: Infinity Score

This summer, fans discovered the whereabouts of Marvel Comics’ most legendary artifacts in INFINITE DESTINIES! Unfolding over a series of epic annuals, this unpredictable story saw heroes from all corners of the Marvel Universe on a chase to prevent the powerful Infinity Stones from falling into the wrong hands. Central to the action was Marvel’s iconic thief Black Cat who walked away as the new wielder of this great cosmic power. The events of this story spun out into INFINITY SCORE, the current arc in her hit ongoing series. Now, fans will witness the stunning conclusion to this grand saga in GIANT-SIZE BLACK CAT: INFINITY SCORE. Written by BLACK CAT writer Jed MacKay with art by C.F. Villa, this oversized special will be a character-redefining one-shot with huge repercussions for the future of the Marvel Universe…

Black Cat has brought half of the Infinity Stones together, collecting a level of power that hasn’t been seen in years! But to what end? This hasn’t taken her out of the crosshairs of Nick Fury OR Nighthawk, and with the Infinity Stones involved, can Thanos be far behind?

Here’s what MacKay had to say about bringing his Black Cat saga to its finale: “One last job.”

It’s a powerful phrase. Sometimes that’s how crime stories start, and sometimes that’s how they end. In this case, it’s the latter. But never fear, we’re sending Felicia and her crew off in style with GIANT-SIZE BLACK CAT #1, the 30-page finale to the INFINITY SCORE, where we see Felicia pull off the final hair-raising heist of her series, where the risks are high and the stakes are even higher. Juggling the job, the various cosmically powered misfits she’s collected, the shady movers who are after the stones and their hosts for their own reasons, and her own personal problems, Felicia’s putting it all on the line for the greatest payoff she can imagine. And when the smoke clears, will the Black Cat have landed on her feet, or will she land herself in jail, or a grave? Find out in GIANT-SIZE BLACK CAT #1 this November!

“BLACK CAT has been a gift. In the two-and-a-half years or so since we started this book, Felicia Hardy went from a character that I was passingly familiar with to my favorite, and in the course of that time I’ve been privileged enough to work with some of the best artists, colorists, and letterers in the business. For a book we weren’t sure was going to make it past #5, we’ll have wrapped up 25 issues in total and have taken Felicia all across the Marvel Universe and back. It’s a book I’m going to miss dearly, but we’ve shown the world that the Black Cat can hang with anyone and deserves her seat at the table!”

Did Black Cat get lucky or did her luck just run out? Find out in the startling climax to INFINITE DESTINIES when GIANT-SIZE BLACK CAT: INFINITY SCORE #1 hits stands in November! For more information, click HERE.

Marvel’s Moon Knight

MOON KNIGHT’S NEW MISSION…IS JUSTICE!

The Moon Knight you’ve been demanding by Jed MacKay and Alessandro Cappucio this July

The Fist of Khonshu returns this July! Moon Knight, one of Marvel’s most enigmatic and compelling heroes, is back in an all-new ongoing series written by Jed MacKay (Black Cat) and making his Marvel Comics debut, artist Alessandro Cappuccio (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers). MOON KNIGHT #1 will spin directly out of the recent “Age of Khonshu” arc in Jason Aaron’s Avengers run and promises to be a worthy new adventure for this fascinating character.

The mysterious Mr. Knight has opened his Midnight Mission, his people petitioning for protection from the weird and horrible. That protection is offered by Moon Knight, who stalks the rooftops and alleys marked with his crescent moon tag, bringing violence to any who would harm his people. Marc Spector, in whichever guise he dons, is back on the streets, a renegade priest of an unworthy god. But while Khonshu languishes in a prison that Moon Knight put him in, the white-cowled hero must still observe his duty: protecting those who travel at night. And let it be known – Moon Knight will keep the faith.

“I’m very excited to be working with Alessando Cappuccio on the continuing adventures of one of Marvel’s biggest messes- Moon Knight!” MacKay said. “In the wake of his disastrous attempt to take over the world in the “Age of Khonshu,” Marc Spector (et al) has retreated to what he knows–busting heads on the streets. But despite betraying his god to the Avengers, the Fist of Khonshu’s obligations remain the same–to protect those traveling at night. Apostate priest of the moon god, the mysterious Mr. Knight has opened the doors of his Midnight Mission, where those in fear of the weird and strange may petition for the aid of the Moon Knight! But this doesn’t sit well with everyone, and hidden threats circle Marc’s new start from the shadows…”

“When Tom Brevoort contacted me to work on the new Moon Knight series, I couldn’t believe it,” Cappucio said. “Debuting in Marvel Comics with one of my favorite characters is a dream come true! The story is a new beginning for Moon Knight, Jed did an excellent job as usual on the scripts and I’m delighted to be working with a professional of his caliber.”

Since his first appearance in 1975’s Werewolf by Night #32 by comic book greats Doug Moench and Don Perlin, Moon Knight has stood out over the years thanks to his intriguing mythology and the psychological complexities of the character. Having enjoyed critically-acclaimed runs by Brian Michael Bendis, Warren Ellis, and Jeff Lemire, Mark Spector now makes his much-demanded return with a series that will give Moon Knight fans exactly what they’ve been asking for and serve as a perfect gateway for newcomers interested in this unique Marvel hero. Don’t miss the start of Moon Knight’s new era when MOON KNIGHT #1 hits stands on July 7! For more information, visit Marvel’s website.
