Yung Gravy – Marvelous

Multiplatinum hip-hop phenomenon Yung Gravy proudly presents his highly anticipated new album, Marvelous, via Republic RecordsListen to MarvelousHERE.

To celebrate the release of the record, he just uncovered the music video for the new single “Dancing In The Rain.” Over a classic old school sample, his deep baritone bellows as he promises, Gravy bring the ruckus to the local Benihana.” The accompanying visual opens with a shot of a classic midcentury modern house with a for sale sign by “Lionel Breadly – Let’s Get This Bread.” A prospective couple tours the house only for the wife to fall for Gravy, but of course!

Marvelous ushers in Gravy’s biggest, boldest, and best era to date. He reteams with closest friend and frequent collaborator bbno$ on “Isn’t It Just Marvelous,” Ishdarr on “Sugar Mama,” and TrippyThaKid on “Steppin On The Beat.

Last month, he paved the way for Marvelous with “C’est La Vie” [feat. bbno$ & Rich Brian]. It has already reeled over 12 million Spotify streams and 26 million YouTube views. UPROXX noted, “The synth-and-drum-infusedanthem features the three embracing a debaucherous lifestyle and sharing stories about their nights out, and HotNewHipHop applauded the “cheerful upbeat tempo accompanied by Yung Gravy’s skillful puns.

He continues to capitalize on the runaway success of the album’s lead single “Betty (Get Money).” It has already gone Gold in the United States and Canada in addition to generating over 200 million global streams, including 24 million YouTube views on the music video. Plus, it notably broke out as his first Top 10 on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs Chart and vaulted into the Top 30 of the Hot 100—another first. Dominating airwaves, it cracked the Top 20 at Rhythmic Airplay and Pop Airplay. Billboard noted “Betty (Get Money)” “marks new highs for Yung Gravy.” Additionally, he delivered a showstopping performance of this anthem at MTV VMA pre-show. Watch it HERE. He also took the stage at Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! with “Betty (Get Money).

“Betty (Get Money)” pops off as a generation-bridging banger of the highest order produced by Dillon Francis, Dwilly, and Popnick. On the track, Gravy reignites the classic chorus of Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up” (and its iconic synths).

It’s Yung Gravy’s year, and nothing could be more Marvelous

This year alone, Gravy has only accelerated his meteoric rise. He co-headlined a massive tour with Dillon Francis and unleashed the Cake & Cognac EP. Additionally, he played to packed arenas with the legendary Limp Bizkit. He has also churned out a series of RIAA certified platinum and gold bangers thus far. These include the platinum “Mr. Clean, platinum “1 Thot 2 Thot Red Thot Blue Thot, gold “oops!!!,” gold “Magic”, gold “Whip A Tesla” and “Welcome to Chilis” with bbno$.

Catch Yung Gravy and bbno$ on their massive co-headlined Baby Gravy, The Tour. Produced by Live Nation, the 29-city tour launches November 3rd and wraps Friday December 16. Already over 50% of the shows are sold out. Along the way, the impressive roster makes stops across the U.S. including Nashville’s Marathon Music WorksNew Orleans’ Fillmore TheaterThe Coca Cola Roxy in AtlantaNew York’s Terminal 5Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium and The MGM Music Hall in Boston.  See full tour itinerary below.

ABOUT YUNG GRAVY:
Only the best things get better with age—wine, whisky, cheddar, beef, 401ks, and the list goes on. Yung Gravy gets better with age too. When you think about it, the name Yung Gravy itself says a great deal. It’s perpetually youthful, and it oozes “sauce. As such, Yung Gravy blends “cool” and “fun” by using his own recipe and bringing originality and positivity to a genre that is overflowing with the opposite. In the fall of 2016, Matthew Hauri was a full-time student at University of Wisconsin, Madison. At the time, he introduced the world to “Yung Gravy, a mysterious, faceless figure—only recognizable for his unique musical style and use of vintage ads for album artwork. In the span of six short years, Gravy has transformed from Soundcloud stalwart to platinum powerhouse. To date, his accolades include two platinum and four gold singles as well as nearly 10 sold out tours of North America, Europe, and Australia. He has collaborated with his self-proclaimed musical heroes, including Lil BabyLil WayneChief Keef, Juicy JT-Pain, and the late Young Dolph. He was given an honorary Stanley Cup ring from the Tampa Bay Lightning and starred in a worldwide commercial campaign with Martha Stewart. For all of the swagger and style he exhibited upon his arrival, he somehow got even smoother since introducing himself back in 2016. After streams in the billions, packed venues, and “side missions” with Martha Stewart, he stirs up his tastiest sauce yet on his 2022 third full-length opus, Marvelous [Republic Records] introduced by the chart-topping gold-certified single “Betty.”

Sam Smith released news song Gloria via 360 MAGAZINE.

SAM SMITH – GLORIA

Multi-Platinum, GRAMMY®, BRIT, Golden Globe and Oscar winning artist/songwriter Sam Smith will release Gloria, their fourth studio album, on January 27, 2023 via Capitol Records. Made with longtime collaborators Jimmy Napes, Stargate and Max Martin stablemate ILYA, Gloria is not only a creative revelation but something of a personal revolution for the celebrated artist. Lyrically, the subjects dive deep and wide, into contemporary narratives around sex, lies, passion, self-expression and imperfection.

Sam Smith says, “It feels like emotional, sexual and spiritual liberation. It was beautiful, with this album, to sing freely again. Oddly, it feels like my first-ever record. And it feels like a coming of age.”

Recorded in Jamaica, Los Angeles and London, Gloria is the dazzling, sumptuous, sophisticated, unexpected and at times thrilling, edgy sound of Sam’s creative heart today. The sound of constricting shackles crashing to the floor, of boundaries joyfully breached, of a still-searching talent discovering what it means to be truly free.

The album is now available for pre-order HERE. Fans who pre-order the digital edition of Gloria will instantly receive the chart-topping lead single, “Unholy” ft. Kim Petras plus “Love Me More.”

Since its release last month, “Unholy” has become a global smash, amassing over 300 million combined global streams. The single has already captured the No. 1 spot on three Billboard charts – Global 200, Streaming Songs and Digital Song Sales – and topped the U.S. Shazam chart. “Unholy” has spent three consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the UK Official Singles Chart, marking Sam’s eighth song to top the tally. The track also hit No. 1 worldwide on Apple Music and Spotify. Within the first 24 hours of release, the song ranked among the Top 10 Spotify debuts of all time. “Unholy” gave Universal Music Group its biggest streaming debut of 2022. TikTok creations are averaging 100,000 daily.

The official video for “Unholy” follows a john who ducks out on his wife and sneaks off to his favorite sex club cabaret, only to find his guilty pleasures revealed in a very public manner. It was directed by Floria Sigismondi (The Runaways film, David Bowie, Christina Aguilera) and choreographed by French dance collective (LA)HORDE. Look for cameos by Gottmik and Violet Chachki from “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and porn star Paddy O’Brian. Watch “Unholy” HERE.

Billboard observed, “‘Unholy’…not only unites two of the most prominent artists in the past decade of queer pop music, but does so without sonic reservation…a grinding, amorous new single.” Rolling Stone said, “Girls, gays, theys: this one is for you.” V Magazine praised the track as “blazing, wild, feral.” NYLON noted, “Sam Smith and Kim Petras’ hedonistic club banger is finally here – and it is criminally catchy.”

Gloria builds on the 35 million adjusted album sales, 250 million single sales and the 45 billion career streams Sam has amassed with the global success of their previous three studio albums, In the Lonely Hour, The Thrill of It All and Love Goes.

A four-time GRAMMY® winner, Sam also holds two Guinness World Records – for the most consecutive weeks in the U.K .Top 10 Album Chart (for their 2014 debut, In The Lonely Hour) and for having the first James Bond Theme to reach No.1 on the U.K. charts (for the Oscar and Golden Globe winning “Writing’s on the Wall”). With the release of Gloria in January and an exciting live plot in motion, it’s going to be an undeniable 2023 for Sam.

Vaughn Lowery of 360 MAGAZINE for feature contact lens and sunglass story.

Choosing contacts to match your lifestyle

Contact lenses have become quite popular when it comes to correcting vision, so most people prefer them compared to glasses. Contacts have many benefits like wearing non-prescription sunglasses and providing better peripheral vision. Remember that contacts are medical devices designed to sit on your eye, so you need to know how to use and care for them.

And, it’s a good idea to choose contact lenses that perfectly match your lifestyle. Contacts are not one-size-fits-all because you can find various types for different preferences and conditions. To find the contacts that are great for you, you need to figure out your lifestyle and determine the characteristics that define your daily life. This article discusses how to choose contacts that match your lifestyle.

Type of lens

If you lead a busy and active life, then you need to get disposable daily contact lenses at https://www.contactlenses.co.uk. Disposable daily contacts are often comfortable and thin and you can use them when you want to. These contacts are suitable for daily wear. And, if you are a swimmer or participate in physical and sports activities, the daily disposable contact lenses can be the best option because you can easily discard them after use.

Take note that disposable daily contacts are a great option for a busy person who doesn’t want to clean or maintain the lens. Besides, they are also suitable for those who are not used to wearing contacts or only wear them irregularly. But if you want to wear contact lenses full-time, you should consider monthly contacts because they are convenient and cost-effective.

Aside from daily disposable contact lenses, there are also high-moisture contact lenses. High-moisture contact lenses are suitable for those who work long hours at their PCs. When you stare at your screen for too long, you can sometimes notice that your eyes are tired of dry. Regardless of this, most people still continue to work at their computers to complete the work.

Like many people, you may have to work long hours on your computer or simply watch movies and surf the web. But staring at the screen tends to put a lot of stress on your eyes, so you must get comfortable contact lenses that have high moisture content. You can find lenses that are made up of soft materials like silicone hydrogel contacts which are also suitable because they can allow better oxygen permeability.  This offers hydration and great comfort for extended wear.

You need UV-blocking contact lenses if you are usually outdoors. This applies whether your job requires being outdoors or you simply like to soak up in the sun. UV-blocking contact lenses can reduce your exposure to ultraviolet rays. When you protect your eyes from damage due to UV light, you can also lower the risks of developing macular degeneration and cataracts in the future.

Lastly, colored contact lenses can be ideal if you love to express yourself. Therefore, if you like wearing vibrant colored clothes, utilizing makeup or even dyeing your hair, then colored contact lenses can be suitable for you. Colored lenses can be a subtle yet appealing way to express your personality or change up your appearance. You can find prescription for natural colored contacts for both daily and monthly use. There are also prescriptions for contacts that can correct vision issues like astigmatism.

Wearing contact lenses

Most people use soft contacts, and there are many soft lenses you can find on the market. The soft contact lenses are often categorized by wear schedule, usually dailies, biweeklies, and monthlies. In most cases, daily contact lenses are designed to be replaced either daily. Biweekly contact can be replaced every two weeks while the monthly contact lenses can be replaced every thirty days. But your optometrist can give you a modified wear schedule, so you need to follow this schedule.

Your optometrist can also give you the care instructions. You need to keep your contact properly cleaned so that you can reduce the risk of your eyes becoming infected or irritated. Also, you need to ensure that you read the information that comes with your contacts.

You should also keep your contact lenses away from water because contacts and water don’t mix. The truth is that exposing your contact lenses to water can contaminate the contacts with Acanthamoeba organisms that cause corneal ulcers.

Also, you need to clean your contact lenses using the right contact lens solution. You should avoid cleaning your contact lenses with water or saliva. You should also utilize the contact lens solution that your optometrist recommended. But if the contact lens solution causes your eyes to irritate, then you should consult your optometrist.

Contacts are not designed to be slept in as this can increase the chances of corneal ulcers or any other type of eye health problems. If you want to use extended-wear contact lenses, remember that putting them on for an extended period including overnight can increase the chances of eye infections.

You should also wash your hand properly before you handle your contact lenses. This means that you should use water and soap, and dry your hands thoroughly. This helps to prevent contaminating your contact lenses with bacteria and dirt from your hands.

It’s worth noting that contacts are personalized and they sit directly on your eyes. Your optometrist often makes sure that they offer you contacts that function specifically for you. Also, for hygiene and health purposes, you must not share your contact lenses with someone else, especially if you have already used them or intend to wear them again.

Above all, you should still wear eye protection or sunglasses when you use contact lenses. You can find UV-blocking contact lenses, but these contacts are designed only to protect your cornea. Therefore, this leaves the rest of the eye unprotected. Because of this, it’s crucial to wear sunglasses that have full UV light protection. Aside from this, you should wear the right eye protection when participating in sports or carrying out any activity that can leave your eyes unprotected.

Six Unconventional And Unique Christmas Gifts For The Artist In Your Life

Who says creativity and style can’t come together in one person? The answer is yes, they exist! And they’re out there! So here’s a little tip: if you’re looking to get your creative friend or family member something this Christmas, try going a little unconventional with it. Because let’s be honest, who doesn’t like an exciting new gift every now and then?

But the key is to challenge yourself. This means thinking outside the box more than normal. Here are some ideas to get your creative gift-buying juices flowing.

If In Doubt, Go With A Classic

This might be surprising, but it’s true. Sure, a traditional gift might not receive the same amount of attention as an unconventional one. But it might be exactly what your creative friend or family member needs. So don’t be scared to go with something a bit more classic. In fact, your gift might have been just what they were looking for all along. You can’t go wrong with a gift voucher or their favorite perfume. And you can get amazing dupes for expensive scents if you don’t want to break the bank. Like this Dossier perfume, Fruity Brown Sugar, inspired by ysl mon paris. And it’s totally vegan and cruelty-free.

Sculpture Kit

If your artist is into creating art with their hands, maybe they would like to try their hand at something a bit more physical. Sculpture kits are a great gift for artists who are interested in trying new things. And they’re also a great option for anyone looking for a challenge. You can find all kinds of sculpture kits available today. From kits that allow your artist to create their own jewelry and sculptures, to kits that allow them to build their own furniture or create their own terrariums. And, once your gift recipient has created their art and sculptures, they can display them for the world to see.

Make Something From Scratch

Not everyone is motivated enough to make something from scratch. But for those that are, being able to make something is a delight. And you don’t have to be a master craftsman to be able to make something with your hands. You just have to be willing to do a bit of research and experiment. There are countless recipe books available these days that contain simple craft ideas. And many supermarkets and DIY stores have an art section with an abundance of materials you can use. It could make the perfect gift for your daughter or loved one.

Find An Unusual Print

Sure, it’s normal to give a gift card or a piece of artwork, but what about something a little less obvious? An unusual print, for example, is one of those gifts that will always strike a chord with arty people. And what better way to find an unusual print than to look online? There are loads of art sites and online stores that sell prints by local artists, and what’s best about these is that they’re all unique and original. What’s more, they’re often one-off prints that are not mass-produced, so they’re sure to be one-of-a-kind.

Make A Sketch Book For Their Art

Sketchbooks aren’t just for artists anymore. They’re also great for writers, photographers, and anyone who wants to take notes of their ideas and inspirations. There are countless sketchbooks available, with different styles and designs that can fit different needs. However, if your creative friend or family member is someone who loves to sketch things out, then a sketchbook specifically for art is a great gift.

Illustration Classes

This is one of the best gifts you can get for someone who loves to draw. Many universities and art schools now offer illustration courses, where you can learn drawing techniques, composition, and style. And since many of these classes are available online, you can find a course that’s perfect for your creative friend or family member. An illustration course will teach your creative friend or family member everything they need to know about drawing. From basic drawing techniques to advanced drawing styles.

Book Box Subscription

If your creative friend or family member loves to read. But doesn’t have the time to sit down and read a book from cover to cover, then a book subscription service is a great gift. These subscription services send your creative friend or family member a new book every month. They can read it whenever they have time. And because they’re receiving a new book every month, they won’t have to spend as much time reading it as they would if they read it as if it was a stand-alone book.

Wrapping Up

Christmas is full of traditions. And traditions can sometimes get a bit stale. If you feel the same way, why not try something a bit more off the beaten path this year? These unconventional and creative Christmas gifts are far from boring. And will show that you care about your creative friend or family member.

Elle features Regé-Jean Page on Canadian cover via 360 MAGAZINE.

Regé-Jean Page × ELLE

KO Media is excited to unveil the November issue of ELLE Canada, featuring British-Zimbabwean actor Regé-Jean Page. The star, who was catapulted to fame thanks the Netflix’s steamy hit show, Bridgerton, and is now the face of Giorgio Armani Code Parfum, tells us about working hard to portray a different type of maleness on-screen: “People think of masculinity and they think of strength, but we need to redefine what strength means. Is it an unwillingness to bend, or is there strength in vulnerability, in being able to listen and adapt?” He also aims to bring that nuanced point of view behind the camera. “As a producer, you have a voice in the conversations about what the story will represent and what themes to explore. It’s like adding a couple more strings to the guitar,” says Page.

For this issue, we spotlight women leading the way in their field by sitting down with the likes of Indigenous actor Kaniehtiio Horn, who grew up on Kahnawàke Mohawk Territory just outside of Montreal and has become a rising star, stealing the screen in shows like Letterkenny and Reservation DogsCurve model and musician Yumi Nu tells us about returning to music, while we go back to the roots with Jamaican performing artist SHENSEEA to discover what makes her tick in her revamped play on dancehall. We hit the books this month too, as Canadian poet Rupi Kaur talks about her new collection and international tour, and author Kate Beaton delves into the emotional and ecological damage left behind by Alberta’s oil sands, in a new graphic memoir.

It’s also a big moment on the beauty front, thanks to our 2022 Beauty Grand Prix sure to fight November grays with tons of juror-favourite picks, while musician Alicia Keys lets us in on her relationship with makeup and personal rituals. Brands display their rising advocacy in this issue, as Lancôme gives a behind-the-scenes look at how they’re putting inclusivity front-and-centre, YSL Beauty breaks down their new global sustainability initiative built around the planet and its people alike, and Toronto-based Céla puts Canadian plants in the spotlight. We also look at a different side of skincare by exploring its importance in the lives of cancer patients preparing for treatment.

In the style—and lifestyle—department, our editors let individuality take over hair-wise by showcasing cuts that highlight self-expression, and layered fall fashions paint the season with a splash of colour and textures galore. Owner of The Studio MTL and personal trainer, Val Desjardins, shares tips to get into top shape during these seasonal changes, while British actor Lucy Boyton makes her mark on-screen and in our pages, and French glamour queen Marion Cotillard lets us in on her fashion musings from the front row of the Chanel haute-couture Fall/Winter 2022/2023 Paris show. Finally, we slow down a bit by checking in for a quick trip to Rome and find out more about TikTok sensation Alexis Nikole Nelson, who details changes in the foraging community.

The November issue of ELLE Canada will hit stands and Apple News+ on October 24, 2022.
