Trade Show Displays

7 Different Styles of Trade Show Displays
Trade show displays are the most powerful visual presentation, and they come in varying styles, shapes, and functionalities. The displays make trade shows more interesting than digital marketing and online promos because of the creativity in them. They are easy to set up and attract attention to the available booths. Prices depend on the design and the display creator. The challenge that exhibitors experience is choosing the most appropriate designs. Any design can work as long as the company’s brand and services or products are presented well. Below are seven common styles.

Pop Up Displays
Easy to set up, pop up displays are portable, cheaper to make, and you can customize them according to your preferences. They are designed like a solid-looking wall, but you can add mural panels to make your display more appealing or a LED screen rental.
Pop ups are popular, and they can be used as graphic murals to send a specific message such as a newly launched product or slashed prices.

Panel Exhibit
A panel exhibit is created from panels and turned into a solid looking wall. They look like pop up displays but have an addition on top to look like booths. Most of them are large enough to be used as the back wall.
They can be used for large exhibits such as backlighting, for product display, and serve as booths for your counters. Bigger panel exhibits are more expensive.

Table Tops
You can have your products printed on display and attached to a frame with metal fasteners or magnets on the top of a table. Table tops are usually about three-feet high.
When attached on top of the table, they can be about five-feet tall. They are among the easiest displays to set up. What’s more? Those tables are mostly provided by the trade show.

Island Exhibits
If you are looking for trade show exhibits that have a bigger room, island exhibits are a perfect choice. They are usually open and all four sides and measure 20’ x 20’.
The type of tradeshow determines how the structures will be hanged. The promotional units with varying size can be positioned on top of the island exhibit. Before selecting this trade show display, ensure that a professional has crafted your floor plan.

Graphic Tents and Canopies
You have probably seen this everywhere, especially during food exhibitions. The good thing about them is that you can modify a standard canopy tent into a graphic tent and save big.
Logo canopies are normally displayed in grocery stores, special events, festivals, or even trade shows. The benefits of using this kind of stand are that it’s easier to use and it encloses the space appropriately. It also displays your graphics on the back, top, and side walls. Most of these tents operate the same way.

Truss Designs
Truss systems fit better with large booths. The systems help to provide structure and allow many designs. The shape of the truss can be customized to fit anything within the allocated space. You can also hang displays and other elements.
Truss exhibits are mostly used for stages, utilizing shelving, custom flooring, and other design features. You can be the center of attention with a truss display if you have large graphics.

Pipe and Drape
Pipe and drape are a bit complicated when it comes to setting up. To form a booth, you connect hollow metal tubes at the corner and support them with upright bases. The pipes are connected to create an outline of your booth space.
The fabric drape is then hanged along the pipe where exhibition visitors can visualize. Most trade show vendors usually set up their exhibition inside the booth and their graphic display is inside while others do the same but display graphics are hanged on the pipe or drapes.
You must be wondering right now what you should choose. Graphic tents and canopies serve all purposes and are more available, but you get to choose which suit your business. After you make a choice, hire a contractor to design your trade show display and transport it to your stand.

Celebrating Earth Week 2019

Celebrating Earth Week 2019: Thinking Global, Acting Local

While consumers around the world are embracing sustainability and the environment more than just one day a year, Earth Day celebrations this week unify consumers in their efforts to make a positive impact on our planet and act as responsible global citizens. And while being a good global citizen takes center stage during the week of Earth Day, we see consumers taking an active stance on helping the planet throughout the entire year. So how are Americans embracing an eco-friendly mindset in individual cities across the nation?

To find out, we analyzed Nielsen Scarborough data to understand how Americans 18 and older are adopting eco-friendly activities on a regular basis. We looked at an array of market behavior and spending preferences on a designated market area (DMA) basis, including purchasing eco-friendly household cleaning products, driving less, donating money and participating in energy-saving programs.

When it comes to thinking global but acting local, consumers in Seattle/Tacoma, San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose (27%) are the most active buyers of eco-friendly products and services, followed by Boston (22%), and Austin, Portland, and Washington, D.C. (21%).

The West Coast is Most Focused on Buying Eco-Friendly Cleaning Products

To keep things clean and eco-friendly, consumers in San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose lead the way in terms of purchasing eco-friendly cleaning products on a regular basis. Seattle/Tacoma came in at a close second, followed by Portland, Ore.

Using Reusable Shopping Bags

While it’s great to purchase eco-friendly products, it often comes with the need for something to carry those purchases home in. The Golden State reigns as the DMA with the most users of cloth and reusable shopping bags. San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose, and San Diego came in first at 79%, followed by Sacramento/Stockton/Modesto at 77% and Los Angeles (74%).

The Golden State is No. 1 in Electronic Recycling

San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose also came in first in electronic recycling of batteries, cell phones, and computers (62%) followed by Syracuse at 57% and Portland, Ore. (55%). Seattle/Tacoma, San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose also ranked high in usage of rechargeable batteries (31%).

Shopping Organic and Local

Organic food buyers are most highly concentrated in San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose (41%), with East and West Coast cities New York and Los Angeles tied at 29%. Local food buyers are most concentrated in Hawaii’s state capital of Honolulu (58%).

Using Eco-Friendly Transportation

When getting around the green way, Portland, Ore., Salt Lake City,  San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose are the leading cities where people drive less and use alternative transportation.

As marketers and advertisers continue to engage eco-conscious consumers, knowing where those consumers live, understanding their habits and what’s important to them, can provide deep insights into how to reach them from an advertiser and merchandiser perspective.

PRESS HERE To Listen To “Disappear”

London based bedroom-pop songwriter Beabadoobee has released her sophomore EP, Loveworm, on Dirty Hit Records. Billboard, who released a track by track of Loveworm, highlighted Bea Kristi’s “languid vocals, pointed songwriting chops and jangly, grunge-inspired sound” on the new EP, which you can PRESS HERE to stream.

“This EP Loveworm was inspired by all the music I listened to during a hard time in my life,” Bea told Pigeons and Planes who named her one of the Best New Artists for April. “It helped me forget about everything. From The Moldy Peaches to Pavement to Daniel Johnston, music was always a means of escapism for me. I wanted to make songs that could belong to one of my playlists. Something people can dance and cry to. The songs on Loveworm pretty much sum up what I was feeling at the time… love is hard, complicated and I’m pretty fragile. Sometimes it’s hard to balance that with school and music but I guess writing the songs for the EP helped me a whole lot. And I hope it helps some people out too.”

Born in Manilla and raised in London, Bea Kristi began recording music as Beabadoobee in 2017. Her first track, “Coffee” gathered hundreds of thousands of streams in a matter of days, through a fan-uploaded video. Since then, her songs have amassed millions of streams between her own self-released recordings and her debut EP, Patched Up (released via Dirty Hit) which features “If You Want To” and “Dance With Me“, and has received support from Noisey, Nylon, The Fader, Bustle and The Guardian, amongst others with NME already crowning her as one of their 100 essential artists to watch in 2019.

Additionally, “Poison” paves the way for his debut EP, which will drop in the very near future.

Meanwhile, “Fight It” ignited 2.3 million Spotify streams as he caught the attention of Casablanca Records who signed him in late 2018. Ultimately, he’ll naturally achieve the popularity his name implies through the best way possible—just being himself.

Indie artist OTR has signed to Astralwerks, who released his new single, “Heart” ft. Shallou, today. Shallou’s searing vocals paired with OTR’s evocative piano create a poignant yet ultimately transcendent track with the indelible refrain “We get out alive/in your heart.”

Download / stream “Heart” HERE. View the visualizer HERE.

Shallou an independent artist who has earned SiriusXM #1 spots with tracks like “Lie” and “Begin” and landed on the Billboard Dance charts played “Heart” live for the massive crowd that gathered in the Sahara Tent for his set at both weekends of Coachella 2019.

Ryan, the 26-year old aerospace engineer-turned-producer behind OTR, uncovered his passion for music in 2012, when he began tinkering on a dusty, run-down piano in his college dorm lobby to break up the routine of classes and studying. Shortly thereafter, he picked up a guitar and began experimenting with Logic on his MacBook Pro. Taking an internship in Japan in 2014, he found himself living in the small town of in Kurashiki, with no friends and a major language barrier. To combat the isolation, he purchased a keyboard and a train pass and spent all his free time making music and traveling to bigger cities. When he returned to the States, Ryan moved into a neighborhood on the outskirts of downtown Cincinnati known as “Over-the-Rhine” or OTR. The once-neglected area had undergone a renaissance that mirrored his own journey of discovery as music went from hobby to career goal, so it became the ideal name for his project.

As an independent artist, OTR has released a series of singles and the 2018 EP Unfold, racking up more than 7 million cumulative streams across DSPs. The Line of Best Fit observed, “OTR produces complex summer tinged pop that begs to be danced to.” NYLON noted, “A song called Bliss has a lot to live up to. Luckily [it] achieves just that-tenfold.” Praising his 2018 collaboration with Blondage, “Cold Facts,” Ones To Watch said, “we’re confident with just one push of the play button, you will become an instant devotee.” Last week, Thissongissick premiered OTR’s remix of RKCB’s “Know Love”, and noted, “he has really outdone himself another incredible release.”
