Structured Breast Implant Outperforms Silicone Gel Implant for use by 360 Magazine

STRUCTURED BREAST IMPLANTS OUTPERFORM SILICONE GEL IMPLANTS

Ten-Year Data Shows Lower Risk of Rupture than Silicone Gel Implants as Surgeons Nationwide Report Higher Demand for IDEAL IMPLANT Structured Breast Implants

IDEAL IMPLANT Incorporated today announced the release of its ten-year FDA Core Clinical Trial Data, indicating that the Structured Implant presents a substantially lower risk of two major breast implant complications compared to the silicone gel implants. While silicone gel implants have dominated the industry since they were allowed back on the market in 2006, technological advances over the past decade are now eliminating the need for accepting certain risks associated with silicone gel.

The cumulative risk of implant rupture or deflation with IDEAL IMPLANT over ten years after primary breast augmentation was only 3.7% in comparison to clinical trial data on silicone gel implants from Allergan (9.3%), Mentor (24.2%) and Sientra (8.7%) that had to use MRI scans to detect rupture. When a Structured Implant ruptures, a woman can easily detect partial deflation simply by looking in the mirror, and the multi-chamber design makes full deflation unlikely. Unlike silicone gel, any leaked saline is harmlessly absorbed by the body, and no MRI or ultrasound scan is necessary to detect a rupture.

“This data emphasizes a clear advance in breast implant technology where the old question to patients of ‘do you want saline or silicone gel?’ has become a false choice, since the original, unstructured saline implant does not offer natural results” reports Dr. Larry Nichter, a board-certified plastic surgeon in Southern California and an FDA investigator for the Structured Implant. “We moved toward silicone gel implants after 2006 because they offered a better cosmetic result over the original, unstructured saline implants. Now we have the Structured Implant technology that offers the similar natural look and feel as silicone gel and doesn’t require MRI or ultrasound scans to detect rupture. It eliminates the concern of silent rupture and offers a significantly lower rupture risk, where the saline filler is safely absorbed by the body if there is a leak. In light of this ten-year clinical performance data, the question surgeons should now be asking patients today is, ‘do you want Structured or silicone gel?'”

“Women seeking breast augmentation increasingly are demanding options that don’t require silicone gel to be placed in their bodies, and they have less patience for the risk of silent rupture,” reports Dr. Vivian Ting, a board-certified plastic surgeon in Northern California who presented survey data on women’s implant preferences at the ASPS Aesthetica Super Symposium in 2018. “Too many surgeons—who are predominantly male in this industry—dismiss this trend simply because they are content with the options of the past. Hopefully this data will drive home that they will have fewer ruptures, better outcomes and happier patients, when they stay current with the technology and patient preferences.”

The IDEAL IMPLANT Structured Breast Implant also outperformed silicone gel implants over ten years in a second major breast implant complication: capsular contracture. After augmentation, the body may form scar tissue around the implant, which can deform the look of the breast and cause pain and firmness. Capsular contracture generally requires revision surgery to remove and replace the implant and scar tissue. IDEAL IMPLANT rates of Baker class III/IV capsular contracture over ten years after primary augmentation were only 6.6%, compared to silicone gel implants from Allergan (18.9%), Mentor (12.1%) and Sientra (12.9%).

“No woman wants to deal with breast implant complications, and this very low rate of capsular contracture directly translates to a lower risk of surgical revisions—and the expense and time associated with that,” explains Dr. Elizabeth Kerner, a board-certified plastic surgeon in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. “A year after surgery, I have to check a patient’s chart to see whether they had silicone gel or the IDEAL IMPLANT, and in my experience, the look and feel is practically identical. While different implants are appropriate for different body types, IDEAL IMPLANT has now demonstrated a superior safety profile while offering the same look and feel as gel. I think we are already seeing this trend follow science as more women demand this choice.”

Dr. Constance Barone, a renowned board-certified plastic surgeon with a busy practice in San Antonio, Texas, confirms this trend. “Demand for the IDEAL IMPLANT is high and growing quickly as women are more educated about the clinical performance data. I ensure all my patients see and feel each one of the current implant options and, almost exclusively these days, they pick the IDEAL IMPLANT.”

The IDEAL IMPLANT Structured Breast Implant began FDA clinical trials in 2009, and received FDA and Health Canada approval for public use in 2014. The company also offers a first-of-its-kind optional Premium Protection Plan, which provides limited financial protection for certain complications related to the procedure and/or the implant, and is renewable for life for greater peace of mind. RCA RECORDS × LOUD ROBOT — NNENA’S “HEART MOAN”

NEW SINGLE & LIVE VIDEO “HEART MOAN” OUT NOW FROM NNENA’S FORTHCOMING DEBUT EP BIPOLAR AF OUT JUNE 25TH VIA LOUD ROBOT/RCA RECORDS

On June 11, 2021, RCA Records announced a brand-new partnership and label deal with Loud Robot, the record label from J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot to release burgeoning new musical talent.

To kick off this partnership, Nnena, the first musical signing to Loud Robot, released a brand-new track and video for “Heart Moan,” the second track revealed from her forthcoming debut EP BIPOLAR AF, which is set for release on June 25th via Loud Robot/RCA Records. You can watch a live performance of “Heart Moan” HERE. You can pre-order BIPOLAR AF HERE.

Other new artist signings to Loud Robot/RCA Records will be announced soon.

Nnena has scripted and produced comedic bite-sized sketches to post as companion pieces for each track from her forthcoming EP. Check out the one for “Heart Moan” HERE and for the previously released track “Rewind” HERE. Last month, Nnena released a hilarious visualizer and stunning live performance video for lead track “Rewind” from her EP.

An incredible writer, lyricist, rapper and vocalist, bursting with effusive energy and a massive personality, the Cleveland native, born Nnena Adigwe to Nigerian parents, credits some of her robust, descriptive storytelling impulses to her past screenwriting experience. A former basketball player, Nnena began writing comedic sketches during college. That soon led to working on more full-fledged projects—the kinds of works that needed sound tracking. Rather than pay licensing fees, she tried her hand at making her own music.

Nnena has already received critical praise from Teen VogueFlood, BBC 1’s Annie Mac, Apple Music’s Ebro, and has been a sought-after songwriter for artists such as Beyoncé, Rihanna and Normani and has recently performed as the opening act for rising star Boogie, Mayorkun and Trinidad James.

She explains making music for her is about telling stories that simultaneously define us and connect us to others. “I want my music to elicit the truth and make the listener feel comfortable. I want people not to feel alone and I never want my music to leave anyone out.”

In the music and visuals that she creates, she shares stories, scenarios, debacles and personal experiences with a warmth, humor and finesse that almost make you forget how hard life can be: “I’ll make the worst situations funny.”

Nnena also finds inspiration for her music from the female experience: “My music is what other females wish they could say out loud, but I do it for them in a song.”

Her music reflects her eclectic influences ranging from Otis Redding to Millie Jackson, from Queen Latifah to Miriam Makeba to Kendrick Lamar and especially “Lauryn Hill, she molded me the most,” along with other neo-soul genre artists Musiq Soulchild and Jill Scott, as well as Drake, J. Cole and Tiwa Savage.

HOPE TALA — MAD

HOPE TALA REVEALS NEW SINGLE “MAD” PRODUCED BY PAUL EPWORTH AND ACCOMPANIED BY OFFICIAL VIDEO

Today, West London-based genre hybrid Hope Tala reveals her stunning new single, “MAD.” Her first new music since the release of her hotly-received recent EP, Girl Eats Sun, “MAD” sees Hope Tala build on the bossa nova-inspired R&B that has seen her cement herself as one of 2021’s artists to watch. Premiered by Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1, produced by the multi-Grammy award winning Paul Epworth (Adele, Florence + the Machine) and accompanied by a stunning video directed by Millicent Hailes, the song serves as a stellar entry point for what promises to be a breakthrough year for Hope Tala. You can listen to “MAD” HERE. You can watch the official video for “MAD” HERE.

Speaking on the release, Hope states, “I wrote ‘MAD’ about having feelings of frustration and hysteria in a long-distance relationship. It’s about being unable to communicate properly and feeling lost in loneliness—so it’s ironic that I wrote most of the song a week or two before the first lockdown started in the UK. Foreshadowing, almost.”

At this point in her career, Hope has already earned the endorsement of Barack Obama, fronted the Apple x Gay Times Elevate campaign, been spotlighted as a 2021 Vevo DSCVR Artist and has had her music streamed over 30 million times, all while garnering acclaim from Billboard, Clash, Dork, GQ, MTV, Notion, Refinery29, The Line Of Best Fit, Vogue, Wonderland and plenty more.

Music has surrounded Hope for as long as she can remember. Every Saturday growing up, she attended music school, learning the clarinet and performing in orchestras and wind bands. As part of an audio class, she learned Logic, and at 14-years-old, she taught herself guitar. Upon gaining proficiency with recording, she uploaded “Peace Freestyle” to Soundcloud in 2016. Following a post by Instagram creative platform Art Hoe Collective, Illegal Civilization founder Mikey Alfred discovered the track and spun it on Pharrell’s Apple Music Beats 1 radio show. This recognition made Hope realize she “could pursue music as more than just a hobby.” 2018 saw the release of her Starry Ache EP, and she released her Sensitive Soul EP a year later. “Jealous,” “Anywhere” and “D.T.M.” each gained traction on DSPs, as “Lovestained” eclipsed 18.2 million streams. Rolling Stone placed the latter at #8 on its “50 Best Songs of 2019.” Everything paved the way for Girl Eats Sun, released in 2020.

Arriving in 2021 as one of the UK’s brightest lights, Hope Tala looks set to establish herself as a vital new global artist with her upcoming body of work. Look out for more very soon.

DIANA DEMUTH — PHOTOGRAPHS

“A euphoric must-listen” – Rolling Stone

“Diana DeMuth, a combination of old-soul songwriting and youthful optimism, brings a unique feel to her music that can sometimes feel like country-Adele while others a sound all to her own… there is much expected for DeMuth in 2020 and beyond.” – American Songwriter

“Diana DeMuth is something of an indie-folk fireball. The singer-songwriter has set the scene ablaze with her searingly honest songwriting that’s met by the richly poignant vocals through which she delivers it” – Pop Matters

Diana DeMuth shares a tearful, video for her single “Photographs” from her debut album, Misadventure, out now. The video provides an introspective look into a love DeMuth‘s romance with a woman that dwindled out. The face-to-face and heavy-hearted video shows DeMuth and her once-partner in the midst of a final goodbye and last embrace, closing out this chapter of their story together. Nicolas Sutton Bell (The Lumineers, Jeremiah Fraites) directed the video and invoked powerful visual metaphors to convey the intense emotions of the single. You can listen to Misadventure HERE. You can watch the music video for “Photographs” HERE.

On the song, DeMuth says, “Photographs is a very personal song for me, it’s about being in love with another woman – but I think the message rings true to any and all kinds of relationships. It’s really about having the courage to love someone, no matter what they are on the outside, and how these kind of rare loves can fall to ruins and leave haunting pictures tattooed in your mind’s eye.”

She adds, “This video was a very intimate and vulnerable one to shoot. It was important to me and my director Nick for my performance to reflect the raw and universal nature of a song about looking back on a love gone wrong. Being so close to another person after a year of isolation and singing directly at them ended up being an emotional experience for me and brought me back to the original feeling that inspired these lyrics.”

Director Nicolas Sutton Bell says, “With this video, I really wanted to portray the intimacy of the lyrics through the visuals. We thought it would be powerful to see two lovers facing off and letting the viewer place their own backstory on them. Diana carries the connection and history of these two lovers in the most amazing way, ending on the tears of truly letting a past love go.”

Simone Felice produced DeMuth’s 2020 debut album, Misadventure, along with David Baron. Felice was also named one of Billboard‘s Top 10 rock producers right now. Felice has also worked with The Lumineers, who DeMuth has announced tour dates with, as well as with Jade Bird, Vance Joy, Bat For Lashes, Noah Kahan, Phoebe Bridgers, Felice Brothers, Conor Oberst and Matt Maeson.

Expanding on the vision and story of the album, producer Simone Felice says, “Diana’s voice and her poetry always transport me to a teenage summer night, mischief and wonder down dark country roads, the northern lights dancing in the distance. Misadventure is the gateway drug into her world, I have a strong feeling it will be a long and winding road trip full of soul and mystery for years to come.”

With a few surprises coming, and stadiums that will soon be filled with DeMuth’s voice, melodies and story, 2021 will surely see her name stamped on new fan’s hearts. Stay tuned for more Diana DeMuth announcements, and be sure to check out the debut album, out now.

Biography by Ilana Kaplan:

Restless and ready to pave her own way, Diana DeMuth has burst onto the singer-songwriter scene with an arresting perspective about life, love and self-discovery.

Growing up on the coast of Massachusetts, DeMuth was immersed in a bohemian upbringing where she moved from place to place with hippie parents. That same restless spirit inhabited DeMuth: she always had a sense that there was something out there beyond where she grew up and that existence. After seeing The Avett Brothers from the front row when she was 13, DeMuth was enamored with their raw performance and hunger on stage. In that moment, she knew she wanted to be an artist one day. So at 19, after going to college for one week, DeMuth left because she was certain music was her path. For the past five years, she’s focused on just that, spending her time traveling and playing small gigs around America, while waitressing and honing her craft.

In her travels, she spent time in London. Feeling aimless, she ended up writing “Hotel Song,” which would become the lead track of her forthcoming album Misadventure. “I just busted out of this hotel/ Took all of my belongings/ And I ran for it,” DeMuth belts in the opening line over stark keys. For DeMuth, the song was a breaking point: a door opening into a new chapter of her life. The track’s vagabond chorus evokes the liberating feeling of driving down an empty road with nothing but your dreams, destiny and the windows down. You can watch “Hotel Song” HERE.

At the same time DeMuth began looking for a producer who would be a match for her music. Through her love of The Lumineers and Jade Bird, she stumbled upon multi-platinum record producer Simone Felice, who in a serendipitous twist of fate, had also in his past worked on The Avett Brothers’ seminal album I and Love and You. (Things fell even more into place when Scott Avett ended up penning one of the tracks on the record with DeMuth, “The Young & The Blind.”)

To record her debut album Misadventure, DeMuth and Felice teamed up with Felice’s longtime collaborator David Baron at a Catskill Mountain house overlooking the Ashokan Reservoir outside Woodstock where the music flowed quickly and freely, and together they began to record her record. Inspired by everything from the Bonnie Raitt that was playing in her house growing up to The Lumineers and Brandi Carlile, DeMuth’s penchant for evocative storytelling and folk sensibilities shine through the 10-track record. And through those songs, DeMuth tells the story of her journey to self-discovery.

On “Signs,” she contemplates her identity and what her path will look like: “All my life I’ve tried my hand at reading the signs/ But I’m still blind/ Still counting the things I need in the night.” In-between the ringing of tambourine bells, DeMuth confronts the constant need for something more. On “Photographs,” co-written by Felice, DeMuth further dives into the human condition, reeling from the raw, devastation in the aftermath of a breakup. With “Rose of Nantucket,” DeMuth returns to the restlessness of “Hotel Song,” her smokey vocals chanting the chorus, “If you get lost in the howling rain/Cause some fucker changed that sign post to lead you astray.” You can watch “Rose of Nantucket” HERE. “Into My Arms” picks up where “Rose of Nantucket” leaves off with a more upbeat DeMuth flaunting her sassy lilt on the chorus. You can watch “Into My Arms” HERE. You can watch another song, “Steady Rolling,” HERE.

For DeMuth, who struggled with ADD growing up, songs were her doorway into prose and fiction. Misadventure reads as a novel with each song an illuminating chapter of DeMuth’s life. What she’s created is a musical tapestry of what it’s like to go through the cycle of losing yourself, fumbling in the dark and ultimately finding your way.

Holkenborg, also known as Junkie XL, will compose a +20 minute musical score based on an interview with the winner to be the “Soundtrack of Your Life.”

Holkenborg will release a new single ‘Despite All That Was’ alongside an NFT drop featuring three original art pieces from Space Renders on NFT platform AmplifyX, built on the energy efficient Tezos blockchain. 10% of the auction gross will be donated to Leonardo DiCaprio’s Earth Alliance charity.

Tom Holkenborg, one of Hollywood’s most coveted composers, has announced he will be minting a truly one-of-a-kind offering, by creating the score to someone’s life. Holkenborg is a blockbuster composer, whose credits include Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Mad Max: Fury Road, Deadpool and Godzilla vs Kong. He has built a reputation for pushing the envelope as a full-contact composer, and has worked with directors including Peter Jackson, Robert Rodriguez, James Cameron, Tim Miller and Zack Snyder among others. The ‘Soundtrack to Your Life’ Auction Begins Noon EST on June 16, 2021 on AmplifyX, an NFT platform built on the energy efficient Tezos blockchain.

The ‘Soundtrack Of Your Life’ NFT concept was developed by Holkenborg to be an offering that would push the boundaries of what is possible with NFTs. Holkenborg will create a 20+ minute original score, based on an interview with the winner, that encapsulates the unique victories, heartbreaks, memories and emotions that make up their lives. The NFT auction is a chance to have one of Hollywood’s singular composers write a truly personalized audio odyssey for you or a loved one. Institutional entrants are also welcome to participate in the bidding.

“This is my first real exploration of the blockchain, I am definitely curious to experiment more, drawn to its transparency and decentralized approach,” said Tom Holkenborg. “Beneath the hype, it still feels quite punk rock and DIY, and I believe that major possibilities exist within the blockchain to help empower creators. It’s always good to think about expanding the limits of how and where music can go, and to collaborate with artists in other mediums. I’m certainly not first in the NFT space, but I thought the Soundtrack Of Your Life was my chance to add something different and make something totally unique. It’s going to be fun!”

The NFT Open Collection will include the first original non-film related work from Tom since 2012, the single “Despite All That Was” and three original pieces of artwork in collaboration with visual artist Space Renders (Juan Piana) who has previously worked with creators like Camila Cabello, Machine Gun Kelly, Jake Paul and others.

“We’re building the toolkit to help creators raise capital, create additive revenue streams and engage with their fan bases in new ways,” says AmplifyX CEO Adam Cowherd.

The auction will take place on AmplifyX, a FINRA and SEC registered platform reinventing the intersection of NFTs and securities to transform digital ownership and monetization across technology, finance and popular culture. AmplifyX is built on the Tezos blockchain, an energy efficient Proof of Stake blockchain network that uses 2 million times less energy than Proof of Work blockchains such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. 10% of the auction gross will be donated to Leonardo DiCaprio’s Earth Alliance charity.
