Big Daddy Kane and Dave Thomas In Brooklyn Chop House via GINA G PR for use by 360 MAGAZINE

D-NICE

D-Nice could have chosen anywhere in NYC; he selected BCHTS, the premier VIP celebrity event space. This relationship and what it means to the culture to connect a historic Carnegie Hall performance with some of the most talented black artists, actors, and fashion legends created a historical moment.

Legends of the old-school hip hop and fashion world showed up with an appetite to Robert “Don Pooh” Cummins Brooklyn Chop House Times Square post-D-Nice’s Club Quarantine at Carnegie Hall last night.

Daymond John, Styles P, Jadakiss, Big Daddy Kane, and DJ Clark Kent took over a different set of tables, enjoying signature menu items and recharging for another set on the rooftop. When D-Nice arrived around 1 am, he jumped on the turntables and continued to spin classics.

Quinn XCII New Single "Backpack" Cover Art via U Music Group for use by 360 MAGAZINE

QUINN XCII – BACKPACK

Today, singer, songwriter, and producer Quinn XCII drops his new single “Backpack” on Republic Records—listen HERE. The end-of-summer anthem is accompanied by the tongue-in-cheek official video co-starring Yung GravyZach Sang, YouTuber Kevin Langue, and more out now—watch HERE.

On “Backpack,” Quinn XCII’s soulful high register rises with acoustic guitar before a head-nodding beat. With a little reggae and a lot of roots flare, he tells a different kind of coming-of-age story as he croons, “She pulled out a backpack with some drugs I never done before, but I still told her, ‘Pass that’. I only said it because I’m trying get lucky like a four-leaf clover.”

Quinn XCII says, “‘Backpack’ is a basic everyday term we throw around, but I’d never heard it in a song. I crafted this fictional story around the word. It’s about being with a girl and seeing she’s a lot cooler and more experienced than you are. It comes down to how you react to the situation. Do you put your pride aside and fake it until you make it, so to speak? I’ve been in situations like that. I decided to be an alter ego of myself, and I realized it’s not a healthy way of getting into a relationship.”

Backpack” sets the stage for new music to come this year from the Michigan artist. Prior to this release, Quinn XCII dropped his 2021 album Change of Scenery II, which debuted #1 on the Apple Pop Charts and Spotify’s US Debut Album Chart. His catalogue has amassed over 2.5 billion global streams to date and includes 1 RIAA Platinum and 6 RIAA Certified Gold Singles. Not to mention, he has sold out countless tours, including shows at the iconic Radio City Music Hall in New York City, The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, and many more.

ABOUT QUINN XCII
Quinn XCII (pronounced Quinn Ninety-Two) is the kind of person you root for. He’s a very grateful husband and an endlessly loyal friend. He goes through shitty days and good days (just like the rest of us do), but he writes about them both in his music without filter or pretense. Despite making it” (he hates that turn-of-phrase, by the way!), he doesn’t put himself on a pedestal whatsoever. Rather, he acts, speaks, and sings with the approachability of the guy who just gave you his spot in the checkout line or waited for the next elevator. Back in 2015, Quinn XCII emerged with a disarmingly catchy and dynamic personal style of his own punctuated by alternative nuances and unexpected (yet undeniable) pop prowess. He has earned successive Platinum singles, including “Kings of Summer” with ayokay, “Straightjacket,” and “Love Me Less” with MAX. In addition, he has a handful of Gold singles, including “Flare Guns” feat. Chelsea Cutler,Another Day In Paradise,” “Stacy,” and “Always Been You.” During 2021, his album Change of Scenery II captured #1 on the Apple Pop Chart and #1 on the Spotify US Debut Album Chart. Simultaneously, he ignited anthems alongside Logic, blackbear, Chelsea Cutler, Jeremy Zucker, Ashe, Louis The Child, Gryffin, Illenium, and more. Not to mention, he has sold out headline tours coast-to-coast, selling over 350,000 tickets as a headliner, and graced the stages of festivals such as Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Firefly, Governors Ball, Summerfest, and Electric Forest. Beyond applause from BillboardRolling StonePaper Magazine, and Interview Magazine, he lit up television shows, including Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Late Late Show with James CordenLive with Kelly and RyanThe Today Show, and more. Now, he kicks off his next chapter with his debut single for Republic Records, “Backpack.”

Naliya ft. Tay Money "Trippin" Cover Art via U Music Group for use by 360 MAGAZINE

NALIYA × TAY MONEY

Rising producer, songwriter, and singer Naliya flexes her vocal prowess and intricate production skills on the carefree new single “Trippin,” out today via Immersive / Sandlot / Interscope Records. On the nostalgic track, the pop phenom slips effortlessly through each verse, inviting no-nonsense Texas rapper Tay Money along for the ride.

“Trippin” (Immersive / Sandlot / Interscope Records) by Naliya ft. Tay Money is available now at all digital retailers HERE

While Naliya has always packed her music with a punch, she ups the ante on “Trippin.” “Boy, I know I make you weak,” she sings, “Don’t you know that I’m a freak?” An inventive producer, she underscores her intimate message with a silvery sax loop and weaves together contrasting vocal tracks over bold percussion. “I keep ‘em trippin’ on me,” Naliya boasts.

Tay Money then brings in another level of confidence, sliding in with fast-flowing ferocity as Naliya keeps her cool throughout. “Trippin” ft. Tay Money is Naliya’s first new release of 2022, following a definitive year that included her Interscope debut, “Handshakes,” along with electro-pop gems “Roller Coaster,” “Whatever,” and “Le Ciel”—all of which have received critical praise, including a feature in UPROXX’s “Best New Pop Music This Week” roundup.

ABOUT NALIYA:

Naliya personally touches every element of her music. Behind a desk running Ableton Live by herself, she’ll conjure up a beat before picking up a pen to write lyrics and finally grabbing a microphone to bring the production and words to life. Raised between Canada and France, the Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and producer architects an unfiltered and undeniable take on pop warmed by handcrafted beats and lyrics so intimate they could be a DM.

During a Shark Tank-style Instagram Live hosted by powerhouse songwriter J Kash [Maroon 5, Charlie Puth, Selena Gomez], she shared a composition and landed a deal. With Kash in her corner, she co-wrote Jason Derulo’s “Lifestyle” [feat. Adam Levine] and Tate McRae’s “Rubberband. After amassing nearly 6 million streams independently and quietly cooking up songs for industry heavyweights, she formally introduces herself on a series of 2021 singles and her forthcoming debut EP to be released via Immersive / Sandlot / Interscope Records.

ABOUT TAY MONEY:

In just over two years, Tay Money, the Athens-born, Dallas-based rapper has racked up millions of views and streams thanks to her witty punchlines and unique musical approach. Her debut song, “Na Na” marked the beginning of her career as an artist and set the tone for the originality that she would bring to the rest of her records to come. Within months of her first release, she was selling out shows in Dallas and had gained a cult-like following among her listeners (now dubbed Tay Army).

With her bouncy trap beats, unmistakable Texas twang, and unapologetically catchy rhymes, Tay began to reach commercial success with her breakout song “Trapper’s Delight” in 2018. With what was originally a risky move to expand her music outside the limits of her hometown of Dallas, the video for “Trapper’s Delight” amassed over 1.1 million views in under two months. Since then, she’s continued to release many more viral hits including “Bussin” (11 million YouTube views), “Bussin 2.0” with Saweetie (7 million YouTube views), and “Brat” featuring Mulatto, two of which are on her recently released EP, Blockedt. The widely acclaimed project led to many defining moments for Tay, landing spots on coveted playlists including Spotify’s ‘New Music Friday’, ‘Feelin Myself’, and ‘Release Radar’ as well as Apple Music’s ‘The Plug’ and ‘New In Hip Hop’. The project also received praise from FLAUNT who hailed her as “one of the biggest women rappers in Texas”, SPIN who noted that she was “one of the biggest women rappers in Texas”, and ELEVATOR who named her their February cover star. Now, with the cosigns of some of the biggest up-and-coming female rappers, and having surpassed the milestone of over 100 million U.S. streams, Tay plans to build on her momentum with more music coming soon.

The skittering beat gives the track a distinct jolt as Tecca tears through verses with undeniable charisma. Between bold and blunt bars, he carries a catchy chorus, You moving faster. In the accompanying visual, he lives the high life surrounded by models in the back of a luxury car and in an opulent hotel room. He surveys the night skyline alone as he raps in the midst of penthouse debauchery.

It sets the stage for more music to come from Tecca very soon.

Tecca dominated the US on his “Tecca Loves You” tour and he will continue to take stages by storm with his performance at Rolling Loud New York on Saturday, September 24 and on his tour that continues in Europe starting in Zürich Switzerland on October 13 and ending on November 7 in Lisbon, Portugal. More information on the tour is available HERE

Tecca’s latest album, We Love You Tecca 2, notably marked his third Top 10 debut on the Billboard Top 200. It also bowed at #6 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart, making for his third Top 10 debut on the respective chart as well. Meanwhile, “Never Left” and “Repeat It” vaulted on to the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Top 30 and has already tallied over 800 million global streams. Right out of the gate, We Love You Tecca 2 received widespread acclaim. HYPEBEAST cited among “the 10 best projects” of the week. HotNewHipHop proclaimed, “Lil Tecca has already proven to be a solid hitmaker in the industry, and with each new album, he impresses his fans with his summer vibes, catchy melodies, and solid hooks.” HipHopDX highlighted his “infectious jubilance,” and wrote, “Tecca’s bubbling raps have always straddled the line between Hip Hop and pop, finding catchy melodies throughout.” REVOLT declared the album “has more hits than a great number of artists twice his age.”

The sequel carried on the legacy of its predecessor, We Love You Tecca. In 2019, the original mixtape bowed at #4 on the Billboard Top 200, went platinum, and amassed 6.6 billion-plus streams.

Posting up over 8 billion streams and claiming multiple platinum certifications, Lil Tecca has quietly cemented himself as one of rap’s most vital rising superstars. In 2020, his full-length debut album, Virgo World, bowed in the Top 10 of the Billboard Top 200 and yielded two Hot 100 entries—namely “Dolly” with Lil Uzi Vert and “When You Down” feat. Lil Durk with Polo G. HotNewHipHop praised it as “a great starting point for the 18-year-old. Tecca first exploded with his platinum-certified mixtape, We Love You Tecca, and his breakout quadruple-platinum single “Ransom” in 2019. He reeled in acclaim from New York Times, Billboard, HYPEBEAST, Complex, and many others in addition to selling out shows on his first headline run, the We Love You Tecca World Tour. He launches into his next chapter with more new music coming this year.

Reebok Question Mid "Blue Toe" product imagery via Reebok for use by 360 Magazine

Reebok – Question Mid “Blue Toe”

Reebok has officially announced an August 19 return for its historic Question Mid “Blue Toe” ($50-$160), a noteworthy colorway of Allen Iverson’s first signature basketball shoe introduced during his standout ’96-’97 rookie season.

Reebok’s original Question Mid would arrive in 1996 at the heart of a basketball footwear revolution, but the brand’s pitch to a young and hopeful Allen Iverson was about much more than a sneaker – it was about their commitment to “A.I.”

“It was a dream come true,” recalled Iverson. “It was close to the same feeling of when you get drafted. Only a certain amount of people have their own signature shoe; that really means you’re special.”

Question Mid has since established itself as one of sneaker history’s most meaningful silhouettes, a representation of Reebok basketball heritage, and a model of sport culture’s greatest legacy.

Succeeding its “OG” predecessor that season, Question Mid “Blue Toe” took center stage on a March night in ’97 as Philly’s highlight-reel rookie point guard, Allen Iverson – wearing the shoe – famously “crossed up“ one of basketball’s greatest players. A symbol of Iverson’s fearless athleticism, that historic moment lives on in the soles of an iconic sneaker.

25 years later, Question Mid “Blue Toe” returns packed with original design elements including a tumbled leather upper, blue pearlized leather toe box, ice rubber outsole, ghillie lacing system, embroidered Vector logos, iconic “Q” heel logo, and a custom rookie Iverson sock liner arriving in OG-inspired Question packaging.

Reebok’s Question Mid “Blue Toe” returns globally August 19 in full-family sizing (Adults/GX0227/$160, Juniors/GY8820/$100, Kids/GY8824/$75, Infants/GY8825/$50) from Reebok.com/US/BasketballFoot LockerChamps SportsHibbett, and other select retailers. Reebok UNLOCKED members will receive one-day early access on August 18, while sneaker boutique Packer is slated to release a limited number of pairs in-store and online August 12.

PAULO LONDRA – JULIETA

PAULO LONDRA DROPS HIS HIGHLY ANTICIPATED REGGAETON “JULIETA”

Paulo Londra‘s “Julieta” is the reggaeton that the Cordovan star’s fans have been longing for. It was produced by Sky Rompiendo, in collaboration with Federico Vindver, the producer behind Paulo’s latest releases. The song and video are available on all digital streaming platforms starting today.

The music video was filmed in Buenos Aires, directed by Gabriel Bosisio and produced by Buena Productora. It stands out not only for seeing the artist in a new setting, but also for the striking visual composition and staging. Taking aesthetic elements from 80’s horror movies, the video shows Paulo trapped in a spine-chilling hospital, trying to escape from a group of scientists who are trying to steal his ideas, his youth and his creativity.

This single comes on the heels of Paulo Londra‘s successful and highly anticipated return to the music scene, with which he has taken the industry by storm releasing hit after hit. With the release of “Plan A”, he broke records and took over the No. 2 spot on Spotify’s Global Chart within hours of its release, becoming the first Latin song to reach that position by an Argentine artist without collaboration. Two weeks later he released his second single titled “Chance” and re-entered Spotify‘s Global Chart and remained within the top trends on YouTube. Then, Paulo stormed the industry once again with the double release of “Nublado” and “Luces”, a decision he made to release them on the same night as a surprise for his fans. Recently, Paulo Londra released a freestyle in collaboration with renowned producer, Timbaland, titled “Toc Toc”, a single that was followed by “Cansado”, a track he did in collaboration with Joaqo, his friend with whom he took his first steps in the Cordovan freestyle.

Up next, Paulo Londra will be releasing “Noche de Novela”, joining forces once again with his friend and global superstar, Ed Sheeran, which will continue to further consolidate his global status and position him as one of the most versatile and prominent artists in the Latin urban genre.

A couple of weeks filled with Paulo Londra’s music for his audience. With a new team for this new stage, Paulo Londra continues his global conquest with Warner Music Latina and BUENA Productora
