Now licensed to host legal wedding ceremonies, The Standard, London is joyfully situated in the heart of King’s Cross and the ideal location for a city wedding. From the ground floor terraces to the sweeping views up on floor ten, The Standard, London has a venue for every size, mood, and aesthetic.

Set in the former Camden Town Hall Annex, The Standard, London’s brimming with mid-century character and striking design details. There’s space for intimate ceremonies for 20 guests, as well as party places for up to 150. They aren’t short of space for guests to stay the night either – the 266 bedrooms range from Cosy Cores – perfect for those who like to party til dawn, to the Suite Spot – a bright and spacious spot for getting ready ahead of the big day with views across the city or the historic St Pancras.

In-house event planners are on-hand to ensure that the lead-up to the special occasion is as smooth as the day itself, with plenty of recommended suppliers to help make sure every detail is spot on. Plus, their chefs have carefully curated the perfect wedding menu – from canapes and light bites to a sit-down dinner and late-night snacks to keep guests going until the early hours.

Decimo
Situated on the 10th floor of The Standard, London, Decimo is uniquely positioned with floor-to-ceiling windows and dramatic views across the London skyline and is accessible by the iconic exterior red-pill lift. Decimo has a capacity of up to 90 for a ceremony, 140 for dinner, and 300 for a party.

Sweeties
A cocktail bar and late-night lounge like nothing you’ve seen before – Sweeties is located directly across from Decimo and is interior design catnip. Velvet curtains, plush orange couches, Instagrammable-carpets, and a marble-topped bar. The space boasts vintage-inspired stacked speakers and a central DJ booth so you and your guests can party into the early hours. Sweeties has a capacity of up to 150 for a reception or party.

Double Standard

Double Standard, The Standard, London’s street-level bar, serves draft beers and classic cocktails. This Shawn Hausman-designed space has the UK’s second-longest bar, cosy booth seating, long-form tables, and plenty of space to mix and mingle, including in the outdoor garden, as well as a premium sound system and DJ booth ready to go. Double Standard has a capacity of up to 150 for a reception or party.

Isla Terrace
The Isla terrace is The Standard, London’s weather-proofed outdoor space with ample seating. Filled with romantic fairy lights in the evening and complete with a retractable awning, heating, and cosy blankets. Ideal for cocktail receptions or wedding breakfasts. Isla has a capacity of up to 30 for a ceremony and dinner, or 50 for a drinks reception.

Townhouse 8

Townhouse 8 is a destination designed for play. Taking inspiration from a 1980s New York Townhouse, it features a living space with midcentury cool sofas, a vinyl library, and listening area, a dining space, a working kitchen, and a sweeping wrap-around terrace with views of the London skyline. Townhouse 8 has capacity for up to 20 for the ceremony and dinner, and 80 for the party.

LE SSERAFIM – EASY

The fearless quintet LE SSERAFIM (KIM CHAEWON, SAKURA, HUH YUNJIN, KAZUHA, and HONG EUNCHAE) has finally returned today with their highly-anticipated 3rd Mini Album EASY.

EASY captures the band’s exploration and expansion from their previous musical style. From the lead single “EASY”, rooted in the trap genre, to “Good Bones”, characterized by a hard rock sound, “Swan Song”, boasting a soft melody, “Smart”, featuring a groovy feel, and “We got so much”, filled with captivating vocals, the five-track album showcases LE SSERAFIM’s versatile and ever-evolving musicality.

In continuation from FEARLESS, ANTIFRAGILE, and UNFORGIVEN, the new album also draws from LE SSERAFIM’s genuine thoughts and emotions. Through the lead single “EASY”, LE SSERAFIM declare their determination to pave their own path and “make it look easy” through unmeasurable hard work and effort in the face of hardships. Their performance for the single is particularly highlighted in the music video also unveiled today on HYBE LABELS’ YouTube channel. 

Shot in Los Angeles and directed by Director and Choreographer Nina McNeely, who has worked with global artists like Doja Cat and The Weeknd, the music video for “EASY” skillfully captures not only the powerful stage presence of the group, but also the individuality of each member. Their free-flowing moves, rooted in old-school hip-hop dance, exude a relaxed yet charismatic demeanor that leave viewers in awe. While the fusion of trap and old-school hip-hop creates a captivating blend in sound, the bold camera movements reflecting McNeely’s unique style enhances the essence and charms of LE SSERAFIM’s performance.

In light of the new album, LE SSERAFIM COMEBACK SHOWCASE ‘EASY’, dedicated to their fandom FEARNOT, will be held today at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium at 8 PM KST and live streamed on the global fandom life platform Weverse and HYBE LABELS’ YouTube channel.

Demonstrating their escalating acclaim, the unrivaled performers are poised to heat up the stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 13 and 20. SHORDIE SHORDIE + MURDA BEATZ

Kicking into high gear again, Shordie Shordie and Murda Beatz share the music video for their new single “A Lot Of Miles.” Watch HERE. It notably opens his recent critically acclaimed mixtape, Memory Lane 2, out now. Listen HERE.

In the cinematic visual, Shordie Shordie cruises down a desert highway on a road trip with friends. He raps from behind the steering wheel, in the backseat, and in the middle of the street as cars zoom by. Like changing lanes at high speed, the core melodic loop weaves in and out of the skittering beat as he exhales on the hook, “I’ve been driving miles for some hours.” The claustrophobic angles and unrelenting momentum of the video translate the track’s outpouring of emotion to the screen.

It lands on the heels of the music video for “Drink.” The latter continues to close in on 1 million YouTube views. “A Lot Of Miles” stands out as the fifth video from Memory Lane 2 following “Drink,” “Contacts,” “Don’t Forget Me,” and “Ride With Shordie Pt. 2.”

Paramount+ today announced that Emmy Award and two-time Golden Globe-nominated actor Dennis Quaid (LAWMEN: BASS REEVES, The Rookie, The Day After Tomorrow) will star in the new original drama series HAPPY FACE. Quaid will play the titular role of the real-life serial killer notoriously called “Happy Face” because of the smiley faces he drew on evidence where he bragged about his crimes. He joins the cast alongside previously announced actress Annaleigh Ashford, who is set to star as his daughter, Melissa. The eight-episode first season will begin production this spring in Vancouver and premiere exclusively on Paramount+ globally in 2025.

HAPPY FACE is inspired by the true-life story of Melissa Moore; the critically acclaimed Happy Face podcast from iHeartPodcasts and Moore; and the autobiography Shattered Silence, written by Moore with M. Bridget Cook.

HAPPY FACE for Paramount+ jumps off from Moore’s true-life story. Happy Face (Quaid) is an incarcerated serial killer who also is Melissa’s (Ashford) once-beloved father. After decades of no contact, he finally finds a way to force himself back into his daughter’s life. In a race against the clock, Melissa must find out if an innocent man is going to be put to death for a crime her father committed. Throughout, she discovers the impact her father had on his victims’ families and must face a reckoning of her own identity.

Quaid is an Emmy Award and two-time Golden Globe® nominee who’s known for his roles in hit films such as The Rookie, The Day After Tomorrow, Traffic, Vantage Point, Frequency, The Parent Trap, Soul Surfer, The Right Stuff, Breaking Away, Midway and many more. NYC still has trend breakers with vision, and it’s great to see that. After all, designer Kelly Glusovich is an upcycling architect. His transparency and contributions to city culture will never go unnoticed.
