Lexus – “All In”

Sneakerhead, audiophile, fashionista, gamer … these people are “all in” on their passions. In a new marketing campaign breaking today for the Lexus 2021 IS, the automaker celebrates its own obsession: an unapologetically pure sports sedan. Entitled “All In,” the new campaign engages an audience that’s just as unapologetic about pursuing their unique interests. It features influencers and deep, diverse media partnerships.

“The IS customer is our youngest, most fiercely authentic yet,” said Lisa Materazzo, vice president of Lexus marketing. “The marketing campaign, like the new IS, is equally authentic and celebrates those who fully embrace their passions.”

Rather than casting actors, the campaign features eight micro-influencers. The first spot, “Names,” moves quickly through people from different walks of life who introduce themselves by the names they’ve earned—be it sneakerhead, gamer or audiophile.

Another spot, “Vanity Plates,” demonstrates just how far these enthusiasts will go to show off the obsessions that define them.  To ensure a connection with all consumers, unique ads were created to further explore the meaning of “all in” for Asian, Black, Hispanic and LGBTQ markets.

“Names” and “Vanity Plates” will air during primetime, special events and sports including NFL playoffs and NBA. Potential drivers and enthusiasts of Lexus will be able to ask their Google Assistant-ready devices about the new Lexus IS model to learn more about the vehicle’s latest technology, audio, performance and safety features, as well as a link to nearby dealerships. The campaign also includes video, audio, connected speakers, print, social and display.

Lexus is connecting with an audience that embraces their passions fully by providing content that celebrates those who go “all in.”

  • Epic Race. Lexus partnered with MotorTrend for an epic race between race car driver Rhys Millen and downhill skater Josh Neuman at speeds of over 70 MPH on Malibu’s legendary Deer Creek Road. The video is live now.
  •  Travel Influencer. Lexus is partnering with Courageous Studios, CNN’s brand studio, to produce a documentary-style campaign that follows Ugandan-American photographer, self-proclaimed geography nerd and travel expert Jessica Nabongo. The first black woman to visit every country in the world, Jessica’s story unfolds as she approaches her next milestone: seeing every state in the U.S. The campaign will be distributed via CNNgo in February.
  •   Fantasy Football. Last Fall, Lexus worked with Yahoo to create dynamic banners on the Yahoo Fantasy Football web site that leverage the players’ stats to serve custom ads to fans engaging in their passion.

2020 Polaris Slingshot

The all-new Polaris Slingshot is well beyond the ordinary three-wheeled vehicle. The Polaris delivers the ultimate rush in an automobile, packed with an open-air cockpit placing you 5 inches off the ground and a one of a kind, 360-degree visceral experience of the world around you. The 2020 Polaris Slingshot delivers on the longstanding attributes of the SL line while adding some very enthralling specs.

Riders will experience improved comfort and airflow via adjustable air vents. Additionally, the new Slingshot introduces the first-ever factory Heated and Cooled Seat accessory, and powered by industry-leading technology, riders can further enhance their comfort. The vehicle uses proprietary thermoelectric technology to cool and heat the seat in three varying settings. A flexible Graphene material disperses the heating or cooling throughout the bottom and backrest of the seat for full coverage. All seats are extremely comfortable and cushioned with accent stitching and the Slingshot logo in the headrest.

The highly technical seats are sold individually and are also paired exclusively with 2020 models. The Slingshot Heated and Cooled Seat is available for $1,199.99 at PolarisSlingshot.com and local dealers

Another addition to the 2020 Slingshot model is the Slingshot’s AutoDrive transmission. Drivers can operate a 2020 Slingshot with AutoDrive just like a standard automatic car with no clutch pedal or manual shifting necessary. This makes the Slingshot highly accessible to a wide variety of young drivers who might not be comfortable with the traditional gear shift. Additionally, each 2020 Slingshot packs Polaris Industries’ first four-cylinder engine, the ProStar 2.0L, and a completely redesigned interior – providing more comfort and convenience with a new steering wheel, gauges, and added storage compartments.

The SL with AutoDrive is available in Red Pearl and Blue Steel paint colors at $26,499. Pricing for the R model begins at $30,999 for a manual and $32,699 for AutoDrive. Both R options are available in Stealth Black and Miami Blue paint colors.

POLARIS SLINGSHOT SUPERHERO RIDE

POLARIS SLINGSHOT TO CELEBRATE AND RECOGNIZE TODAY’S UNSUNG HEROES WITH A SUPERHERO RIDE

Because Every Superhero Deserves a Superhero Ride

Polaris Slingshot In Search of Stories About Those Going Above & Beyond In Everyday Life;

Four Heroes will Win a Three-Month Rental of an All-New 2020 Slingshot Roadster

In a time of unprecedented events, millions of Americans are going above and beyond; whether it’s a battle through new adversity in daily life or helping someone in need. In an effort to shine a light and celebrate these individuals, Polaris Slingshot is asking its community to share stories about the superheroes in their lives.

Whether a medical professional, a first responder, grocery worker, an educator learning to teach from a far, a seamstress supporting a local medical facility, a young adult delivering food to the community, or a stay-at-home mom turned school teacher – Slingshot wants to hear these stories and say “thank you.” From now until June 3, Slingshot will be celebrating and acknowledging these local heroes on its social media channels. And to show appreciation, the company is awarding four of the submitted heroes a free three-month rental of an all-new 2020 Slingshot roadster.

“During these unprecedented times, Americans have had to adapt and stretch to unimaginable lengths,” said Chris Sergeant, Vice President of Polaris Slingshot. “Everyday tasks are more challenging. Jobs are significantly more demanding. These are the individuals we want to show our gratitude for, share their story and, in some cases, reward them with a free three-month Slingshot rental. Because every superhero deserves a superhero ride.”

To submit, anyone can post to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #SlingshotSuperhero. In the post, submitters should explain the hero’s story and how they are battling through adversity, lending support, or committed to their trade during these trying times. Slingshot will highlight a number of submissions throughout the program, while one winning submission will be awarded every two weeks until early June. Consumers can also register online at: http://slingshot.polaris.com/en-us/nominate-a-superhero/. Prize fulfillment will come at a time when the winner can get out and fully enjoy all the fun Slingshot has to offer.
