Ethernity Chain Announces Another NFT Collection

Ethernity Chain is proud to announce another unique NFT collection is coming to its ecosystem. This aNFT (Authenticated NFT) collection contains UNRELEASED and never before seen footage of Nas performing a sold-out show of Illmatic with a full orchestra in South Africa on the anniversary of the ending of Apartheid. This drop is made possible with the help of Audio Up and will occur on July 31, 2021.

The connection between NAS and the Apartheid is intriguing. Ending Apartheid in South Africa was a major milestone that coincided with releasing Illmatic in the United States. So having Nas perform on the twentieth-anniversary date of ending Apartheid makes a lot of sense in that regard. Additionally, this cross-over anniversary highlighted a crucial reason why the Apartheid needed to be abolished.

Before abolishing the Apartheid, it would not have been possible for an African-American hip-hop artist to perform in front of a wide audience like the performance that Nas did in 2014. The fact that performance was held signals a crucial change and is part of the broader narrative of how hip hop is a defining force for African-American voices globally. Additionally, it has become the definitive global music genre that tops streaming and sales charts globally, even today.

In 2013, Jared Gutstadt, Founder of Audio Up, had a wild idea to create orchestral tracks based on Illmatic–it would be legendary. Due to a chance meeting between Nas and Jared, they started working on bringing this vision to life. Jared composed the orchestral tracks, partnered with an orchestra, and Nas crushed it by performing his lyrics over the music to a live audience in 2014. This NFT collection is compiled from never-before-seen footage of that performance.

As serendipity would have it, the date of that performance in South Africa fell upon the anniversary of the WE Are end of Apartheid. Coincidentally, the anniversary of the Nas Illmatic album release also falls on this date (April 19).

The charitable beneficiary of this collection is the We Are Family Foundation, founded by legendary musician and producer, Nile Rodgers. The foundation focuses on initiatives that unite the world. These proceeds will benefit WAFF’s Youth to the Front program. Nile has personal experiences as a creator showcasing his craft in South Africa at the end of Apartheid. His song “We Are Family” gave Nelson Mandela hope when he was still imprisoned in South Africa. Nile composed the music for the movie “Coming To America” which was the first movie premier shown to an integrated audience in South Africa. The synergy of Nas and Nile’s creative talents coupled with the power of their music to unite diverse groups of people makes this collection one of great importance for fans as well as a marker for this moment in history. It’s an ode to how far we have come and a reminder of how far we have to go.

Minimalists Can Invest in These Essential Jewelry Items

Minimalism has inspired many great personalities over time. According to Nicholas Burroughs, “Minimalism is not a lack of something. It’s simply the perfect amount of something.” In the world of fashion, there are numerous designers and brands which religiously believe in the same ideology.

If nothing else, last year’s pandemic taught us the value of what is essential. People became aware of what truly mattered – whether it was the endless Zoom meetings and video calls, or a few essential jewelry pieces that helped women look presentable. We all are now aware that everything that we own is enough. We often fail to understand that less is more. A simple, yet beautifully designed, earring can enhance your entire aura in a way that a flashy earring cannot. A simple necklace can have a big impact, and make you feel effortlessly chic and unique.

Grand doesn’t necessarily always mean great. We all should have a few essential pieces of jewelry, and trust that they will suffice.

1. Shungite Earrings

Shungite earrings are a great, sustainable accessory. Wearers can also benefit from their various health and healing properties. The stone grants several advantages, but it primarily it helps to protect wearers from harmful electromagnetic fields (EMFs), due to using too many gadgets throughout the day. It also acts as a shield around the body to protect it from other negative vibrations. This stone balances the body’s flow of energies, and heasl the upper-body and root chakras. If you wear the Shungite earrings daily, your brain will be able to memorize more efficiently and increase your focus and productivity rate. Overall, you will surely notice the endless benefits and gain a positive outlook in life.

2. Tanzanite Pendants

The deep blue stone, Tanzanite, is one of the rarest and most intriguing stones. Originally, it is sourced from the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, rooted to the heritage of Tanzania. Women can wear Tanzanite pendants if they wish to invite luck and prosperity into their lives. The durable stone is also known to be a thousand times rarer than a sparkling diamond and attracts positive energies into the wearer’s life. You can style the pendant effortlessly with any outfit to add enough shine and sparkle to your day. It can be worn for a dinner date as well, with a pair of dazzling danglers and a matching bracelet to complete the look.

3. Personalized Bracelets

Life’s most significant celebrations are marked by unique accessories. Women can use customized jewelry as a natural way to remember a moment or person. Accessories such as personalized bracelets, necklaces, or rings are undeniably a talisman for everlasting moments. Women can tailor the bracelet according to their personal interests, be it a small charm, crystal, or a birthstone. You can also accessorize the bracelet with a pair of chain links and metal strings of different textures.Or, you can also add a classic wristwatch to finish off for a formal look. However, the jewelry piece will look enticing on its own, too. This look is simple, unique, and meaningful.

4. Sterling Silver Chains

Sterling silver chains are a wise investment for those that want to create multiple looks using one piece of jewelry. Thrilling, isn’t it? The silver chain can be rounded into various layers for a heavier look or left as is. You can produce exciting new looks by adding drop pendants, gemstones, motifs, and charms for different attires and occasions. Or, if you’re not keen to experiment, style a simple chain all 365 days of the year to elevate your outfits effortlessly. Furthermore, this long strand of chain will elongate your neck.

5. Lapis Lazuli Necklace

Gemstones are believed to have powerful healing properties. Besides being allured to their natural beauty, these holistic properties make these stones especially attractive. This deep blue marine pigmented stone, lapis lazuli, was even used to create some of the world’s most renowned paintings; such as ‘The Girl With a Pearl Earring’ by Johannes Vermeer. Women who want to have a renewed sense of purpose in life, achieve spiritual enlightenment, and attract positive energies can wear the lapis lazuli necklace. It has an innate ability to stimulate a deep acknowledgment for personal growth and enlightenment. These assets can help a person reach a state of complete awareness in Nirvana. You can style the necklace with a casual outfit, perhaps with a blouse and denim, to give it a bolt of vivid color. Or, pair the lapis lazuli with your formal clothes to achieve a more refined look.

Cost Analysis of Concrete Lifting Techniques

It’s time to know all about cost of different concrete lifting techniques. Let’s get started.

Mud jacking:

The process of mud jacking – also known as slab jacking – is the most cost-effective method to lift up concrete.

The cost of the process varies according to the size of the concrete being lifted. The minimum cost for mud jacking is $500, and the maximum cost could reach $2,075. You can contact your contractor for information regarding pricing. After conducting the proper calculations, contractors can tell you about the cost of lifting up your concrete through mud jacking. The cost will most likely be within the range mentioned above. The average life for this solution is between 8–10 years.

Concrete Replacement:

Concrete replacement is the most expensive solution for concrete sinking. The concrete replacement for a 200 square foot slab can cost you up to $2,000. For a large slab, you may have to pay up to $5,000. In cases where slab jacking does not work, the professionals suggest replacing the concrete. It is a more reliable and permanent solution.

The average life for this repair is more than 15 years, if it is installed well according to the Standard of Procedures (SOPs). A good contractor will do proper planning before the concrete replacement in an attempt to increase the life of the repair. The main problem with this solution is its cost. The high cost is due to the heavy machinery and the time it takes. The concrete replacement can take days to weeks to be completed.

Polyurethane:

Polyurethane is a reliable and efficient technique offered by contractors of Roanoke crawl space repair. It is used all over the world to lift the concrete into its original position. It is expensive as compared to mud jacking, due to many reasons. The main reason is that the raw material used in this process is expensive because of less supply and more demand in the market.

An average polyurethane injection costs $12 per square foot. It means if you want to lift up a 100 square feet of concrete slab, it will cost you around $1,200 – which is 120-150% more expensive than mud jacking slurry.

The life span of polyurethane is more than 20 years. It means that if you consider long-term costs, it is almost equal to mud jacking.

Moreover, using polyurethane is an environmentally friendly option. The high cost is due to the raw materials and machinery used in this process. Most contractors don’t provide this facility, as it requires specialized skills.

Conclusion:

There are many methods to lift up concrete in the world of civil engineering. Most customers highly consider the cost of the process. That’s why mud jacking is the most commonly used process in the field of structural engineering. Mud jacking is also a reliable and permanent solution. Polyurethane is also a good solution, but it is very expensive when compared to mud jacking. Concrete lifting is only used in specific scenarios where other solutions won’t work.

Biggest Medical Aesthetics Trends of The Year

Over time, some people are not okay with parts of their bodies or the changes that occur, and this pushes them to do various cosmetic adjustments to feel and look great. With the pandemic all over the world, many people are staying at home. Some are stressed out, and you know the changes that occur on the skin with too much stress. Luckily, the beauty industry is there for you. It is coming up with innovations every day to make you feel better and look great. The need for cosmetic treatments has increased in 2021. People are spending time at home, on video calls, and wearing masks when going outside. This has created an environment for various unpleasant changes and this is why people are going for these procedures. The following are the biggest medical aesthetics trends for 2021.

Fillers

Fillers have become a popular thing this year with many people going for the procedure. Fillers are used for treating fine lines and wrinkles on the face. They are also used to add volume in specific areas on the face like the lips, cheeks, eyes, and jaws. In common cases, fillers are mainly for making the lips plumper, and this trend has been ranging this year. The good thing about the procedure is that it is non-invasive, and there is no downtime. The patient gets only a minor swelling that goes away after a short time.

Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation procedure has also raged this year with many women choosing to go for breast increase. In most cases, women with smaller boobs are going for the procedure. After birth, the shape, size, and firmness of the breast change, and many women are not pleased with the results. With that, they are choosing to go for breast augmentation that helps in increasing the size of the breasts and regaining their firmness through surgery.

PRP

Platelet-rich treatments are used for different reasons like hair loss, acne removal, and refreshing the face. This treatment has been trending since the beginning of this year. PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma treatment can be used to deal with aging issues. For instance, it is used to treat sagging skin, fine lines, scarring, and wrinkles. People who have uneven skin tones have also been going for this treatment.

Laser Hair Removal

This is another aesthetic procedure that many people are going for in 2021. Laser treatments are safe, effective and their results are long-lasting. It is for these reasons that many people are choosing them. Both men and women are going for hair removal treatment to get rid of unwanted hair on areas like armpits, chest, and back.

Botox

With everyone wearing masks since 2020, the main focus has shifted to the eyes. Dermatologists confess that many people this year have chosen the procedure. Botox is a non-invasive procedure that involves the removal of wrinkles and fine lines around the eyes. The results of this treatment last as long as six months, and 2021 has seen the largest number of patients in need of Botox treatment.

Non-Surgical Fat Removal

With many people having more time to spend at home eating and in front of the mirror, more are increasing in body size as a result of fats accumulation. With such changes, people are going for non-surgical fat removal procedures. Unlike liposuction, this procedure does not involve surgery or breaking the skin. In 2021, it is now easy to remove fats from stubborn areas like the abdomen, arms, and thighs without surgery.

Conclusion

These are some of the biggest cosmetic procedures trending in 2021. However, the aesthetics industry has transformed over time. Before this, patients could only get access to invasive procedures. However, with time, there are various innovations of non-invasive procedures that produce the same results. In 2021, people can now get their desired look without undergoing aggressive procedures.

In addition to revealing the album release date, AJ also announces dates for his official SKYVIEW 2021 Tour this fall. The 21-date US tour will kick off on September 13, 2021, with a homecoming of sorts in St. Louis, MO, right outside his hometown of Bellville, IL where he used to see shows growing up.  The tour will also bring AJ to cities like Toronto, New York and Nashville before wrapping in Phoenix on October 17th. On the album, AJ Mitchell shares, “SKYVIEW is the final chapter of the first era of my artist journey. In 2016, I released my first single “Used To Be”, a song I had written at 13 years old.  That song set me into a year journey traveling the world; learning, writing, collaborating, performing and constantly evolving. In that time, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with so many talented artists, writers, producers, photographers, and directors around the world. Those collaborations and experiences have sculpted who I am today. I dove into this industry at 15 years old, only knowing two things: I wanted to write songs and sing them as my career. SKYVIEW is the summary of my artist journey up until now. As a kid, the Skyview Drive-In theater was a place in my small town of Belleville, Illinois that had the power to transport me into a world of endless possibilities. Today, SKYVIEW is proof that anything can happen if you are willing to take the risk and do the work necessary to make any dream come true.”
