Reebok and Packer are teaming up to release a limited-edition release of Allen Iverson’s notorious Answer IV. The Answer IV’s are a blast from the past, referencing sport, style and culture of the ‘90s and early ‘00s. The Packer x Reebok Answer IV ($180) will be available on January 21 solely in-store and online at Packer.
Allen Iverson
NBA basketball legend and style/ culture icon of the ‘90s and early ‘00s, Allen Iverson exemplifies the aesthetic viewpoint from this time period. Celebrated for always sticking to his wits and having shaped an entire generation through fashion and culture, the Packer Answer IV serves as an honor to the legacy that A.I. created.
The shoe is reminiscent of designs from the ‘90s and early ‘00s, equipped with timeless navy leather/ grey mesh upper, highlighted by red accents. The shoe captures the essence of A.I.’s spirit during the prime of his stylistic impact.
Available exclusively at Packer, Friday, January 21.
To honor the 30th birthday of Reebok comes one final Pump Omni Zone II drop for the year. The motor-city inspired “90s Rules” color up drops on New Years Eve in adult sizes from Reebok.com, Foot Locker, Finish Line and Champs, amongst other retailers.
The Reebok Pump Omni Zone II “90s Rules” (H01315) retails for $150. The shoe showcases an innovative take on the original high-top design made for Dee Brown in ’91 with pump technology that provides additional support. The shoe displays a combination of red and blue colors, nodding ‘90s motor city hoops and the “bad” icons that originally wore the shoe.
To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Deana Carter‘s 5X platinum debut album Did I Shave My Legs for This?, Carter announced this morning on The Bobby Bones Show that Capitol Nashville/UMe will release Did I Shave My Legs For This?25th Anniversary Edition on November 5, but it isn’t just Carter doing the singing this time around. The project includes two new tracks with Carter performing and producing 2021 versions of the CMA award-winning, and 2X platinum hit single “Strawberry Wine,” featuring Lauren Alaina, Martina McBride, Ashley McBryde, Kylie Morgan, and Vince Gill on guitar, as well as the title track, featuring Terri Clark, Sara Evans, Ashley McBryde, and Vince Gill.
The 25th anniversary editions of the album have been remastered from the original recordings and will be released onCD with two bonus tracks, as well as a Digital Deluxe with an additional ten songs, seven of which will be available digitally for the first time. Pre-order/Pre-save HERE
“I am beyond blown away to see the generational connection between my first single, ‘Strawberry Wine’ and all the fans, young and seasoned,” award-winning country singer-songwriter.
Carter shares. “Being a part of a song that has become an anthem for the ’90s and beyond is such a blessing and more than I could’ve ever dreamed of. The fans have been the catalyst for the success of “Strawberry Wine” and the whole Shave album because of their connection to the truth and realness behind the songs.
“They lived it, just like I did, and just like all of my collaborators did. It was an honor to re-record two favorites with my fellow female artists who inspire me and who I admire. These new versions are a way of raising a glass to everyone who loves these songs, and to the country radio stations still playing them, and to say thank you. I hope everyone enjoys celebrating 25 years of Did I Shave My Legs For This? as much as I’ve enjoyed putting together these very special releases.”
1997 CMA Single and Song of the Year “Strawberry Wine,” written by Matraca Berg and Gary Harrison, was also nominated for a GRAMMY for Best Country Song, the Academy of Country Music Awards Best Country Song, and the Country Music Radio Awards for Song of the Year. Carter co-wrote the title track “Did I Shave My Legs for This?” with Rhonda Hart.
“Who knew that some girl talk would end up becoming a cultural catchphrase for decades to come? Wow! This song is proof that a genuine, heartfelt message can be delivered with a sense of humor,” she added, “yet stand firm in the conviction to not settle for less in this life. Thanks to all the ladies who have sung this anthem at the top of their lungs and to my record label for letting me boldly title my debut album so memorably.”
Other chart-toppers from Carter‘s debut album included “We Danced Anyway” (co-written by Berg and Randy Scruggs), “How Do I Get There” (co-written by Carter and Chris Farren), and “Count Me In” (co-written by Carter and Chuck Jones).
As part of the album’s 25th Anniversary celebration, Carter will perform on the Grand Ole Opry Saturday, October 16, as part of the Opry’s 4,998th show. To purchase tickets, click HERE.

About 98 Degrees
One of the best-selling boy bands of the ‘90s, the group features Jeff Timmons, brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, and Justin Jeffre. Inspired to get back together during the pandemic, the band is scheduled to make their return to the stage in August as they begin their “98 Days of Summer” campaign. In anticipation of their return, the guys recently released their new single and video “Where Do You Wanna Go.” The vibrant, catchy pop song/video, is the group’s first in eight years, and was produced and co-written by DJ LUX and released under 98 INC/Johnny Wright Entertainment.
The 98 Days of Summer campaign, which launched in June, features 98 days of throwback photos, video clips, and unreleased music on the group’s social media channels, culminating in the release of their remix EP on August 20th.
Starting with its 1997 self-titled debut album 98 Degrees, the band rose to fame during the boy-band-crazed era of the late ‘90s. Their platinum debut featured the Top 10 hit single “Invisible Man.” In 1998, their second release “98 Degrees and Rising” went 5x platinum and featured the classic chart-topping Top 10 singles “Because of You” and “The Hardest Thing” and the classic wedding favorite “I Do (Cherish You).” Their third album “This Christmas,” released in 1998, went 5x platinum and spawned the Top 40 hit single “This Gift.” This was followed by “Revelation” in 2000 which went 2x platinum. It featured the hit single “Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche),” which became the most added Top 40 single in history, allowing the song to debut strongly at No. 2 in the Billboard 100 charts–becoming the highest-charting single in its debut week by a boy band during that time. 98 Degreeswas also featured on Mariah Carey’s chart-topper “Thank God I Found You” that same year. The group released a greatest hits album in 2002. “Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche)” became the most added Top 40 single in history with 170 adds on radio in its initial week, allowing the song to debut strongly at No. 2 in the Billboard 100 charts, becoming the highest-charting single in its debut week by a boy band during that time. The American/R&B Vocal group has sold more than 15 million records worldwide and achieved eight Top 40 singles in the U.S.
