Have you noticed that your relationship does not involve as much romance as it did in the past? Well, if you have noticed this, then the chances are your partner has also noticed, even though they may not have said anything. Being romantic is something that both partners have to get involved in if you want to keep that magic alive, so it is well worth looking at romantic gestures that can help your relationship.
Being romantic is not about talking dirty or buying anal toys – these are more suited to those looking to improve their physical relationship! Romantic gestures are ones that take thought and effort, and which come from the heart. Fortunately, there are lots of ways in which you can extend romantic gestures to impress your partner, and we will look at some simple yet effective solutions in this article.
Some Steps You Can Take
If you want to inject a little more romance into your relationship and earn some brownie points from your partner into the bargain, there are plenty of options you can consider. One of the things you can do in order to be romantic is to cook your partner a home-cooked meal with all the trimmings as a surprise. And, don’t sit down in front of the TV with your food! Make sure you create a wonderful, romantic setting with fine wine in an ice bucket, candles, soft music, the works. This will create a fabulous intimate restaurant feel but you won’t have to worry about other people cramping your style.
For those who can afford to take a little time out and splash a little cash, booking a romantic trip away as a surprise for your partner is a great idea. If they work, you could even sneakily contact their employer and arrange for the necessary time off, so it comes as a complete surprise. You will find some fabulous romantic breaks to choose from such as spa breaks for couples, beach breaks, perhaps even couples’ camping. The choice is entirely yours but make sure it is something your partner is likely to enjoy before you choose.
If the weather is good, you can always arrange a romantic afternoon picnic with your partner, which is a great way to enjoy some quality time together but won’t cost the earth. If you have a pleasant park or beach near to where you live, you can head there for your relaxing afternoon. If not, you could even set up the picnic blanket in your own garden and enjoy total privacy. You will be able to sit back and chat, enjoy spending time as a couple, nibble on delicious snacks, and enjoy a drink or two.
All of these provide you with romantic and simple solutions to surprising your partner and adding some romance into your relationship. These are steps that will help to show how much you care by the effort and thought you have put into it.

One of a kind, 2020 Red Phantom revealed during celebration at One Thousand Museum during Art Basel in Miami Beach
The House of Rolls Royce today revealed images of a Bespoke 2020 Red Phantom, commissioned to benefit (RED), the global charity and its fight to end AIDS. First sketches of the red-themed creation were revealed by the world’s leading luxury manufacturer seven months ago at the Sotheby’s Galleries in New York City. On Wednesday evening, December 4, The Red Phantom Bespoke Commission will be unveiled at a gala event at the One Thousand Museum in Miami as RM Sotheby’s launches an exclusive online auction to run through December 13, 2019. Proceeds above the cost of the item* will benefit (RED)’s fight to end AIDS.
The winning collector will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with one of the world’s most respected contemporary artists, Mickalene Thomas, to create a work of art in the form of a custom wrap for the exterior of the car. Thomas will also create an original artwork inspired by the Red Phantom for the collector. When the digital hammer falls, the ultimate bidder will be the proud owner of the Red Phantom, a personalized work and design by Ms. Thomas and the honor of having supported (RED) in its mission.
“It is an honor and privilege to present this one of a kind commission created by the more than 2,000 men and women in Goodwood, Home of Rolls-Royce,” said Martin Fritsches, President and CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Americas. “Everyone on our team is deeply inspired by this world-class commission, and equally by the importance of the cause it was created to support – (RED)’s fight to end AIDS. We are proud to partner with Mickalene Thomas, RM Sotheby’s and our other partners to achieve an outstanding result from this auction.”
“We’re so grateful to Rolls Royce for donating profits from the Red Phantom to the fight to end AIDS. We need all forces mobilized against this pandemic which is the leading cause of death among young women. We also want to thank Mickalene Thomas for her creative genius, as well as our partners Bank of America and Netjets for their support of this auction to help the Global Fund wipe AIDS off the planet.” Said Jennifer Lotito, Chief Operations Officer, (RED)
The exterior wears a newly developed Bespoke color finish of Crystal over Magma Red with tiny particles of crystal captured in the final layers of finish creating a luxurious luminescence. The handcrafted Bespoke leather interior in Brilliant Arctic White is offset by bright Mugello Red highlights overseen by the iconic and colorful Mugello Red ‘Shooting Starlight Headliner.’ Housed within a single-piece glass fascia and extending across the instrument panel, the Gallery design, ‘Red Regatta Sails’ is constructed of Bespoke Mugello Red leather.

The Principality of Monaco, steeped in motorsports history, once again proved the perfect location for the FIM Awards, with tonight’s glittering ceremony declared a huge success for the almost six hundred guests who packed into the beautiful Sporting Monte-Carlo venue. In front of an audience, including representatives from the one hundred and eleven national federations, motorcycling legends, various members of the FIM, championship promoters, manufacturer and team representatives, sponsors and other invited international guests, the 2019 FIM World Champions were duly rewarded for their respective sporting achievements.
During the glamorous ceremony riders from all disciplines were invited to the stage to collect their FIM gold medals, with many having their own individual stories of a season-long battle that required both dedication and determination to eventually reach their ultimate goal. With his brother Marc absent due to recent surgery, Alex Marquez was on hand to collect his FIM Moto2 Grand Prix prize, as was five-time FIM Superbike World Champion Jonathan Rea.
Illustrating the diversity amongst the 2019 FIM World Champions the aforementioned two Circuit Racing heroes tonight stood shoulder to shoulder with two motorcycling heroines in the form of six-time FIM Women’s TrialGP World Champion Emma Bristow and newly crowned FIM Women’s Motocross World Champion Courtney Duncan from New Zealand.
Fifteen-year-old Jesper Knudsen from Denmark claiming the FIM Speedway Youth World Championship and Italy’s fourteen-year-old Valerio Lata who secured the FIM 85cc Junior Motocross World Championship were the youngest two riders in attendance this evening. Whilst Bradley Freeman – FIM EnduroGP and E1 World Champion – and Toni Bou – FIM TrialGP and FIM X-Trial World Champion – both collected two gold medals each tonight.
In addition to celebrating the bravery and exploits of the many FIM World Champions, it was also a moment to recognise the work done by others – individuals and organisations – who continue to work tirelessly for the benefit of motorcycling overall, with the presentation of the following four very important FIM Awards.
The FIM Environmental Award was won by Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, whilst it was Motorcycle Clothing Assessment Program – Australasia who collected the FIM Road Safety Award on this occasion. The highly competitive FIM Women in Motorcycling Award, which received eight nominations this year, eventually went to MissBiker – Italy after much deliberation. Finally, the FIM Award for the Future was won by Hobby Sport – Primi Passi FMI – Italy.
Throughout the ceremony, the long list of prizes and awards were presented by a highly decorated group of true motorcycling legends. These included Max Biaggi – FIM Circuit Tacing Legend; Joël Robert – FIM Motocross Legend; Juha Salminen – FIM Enduro Legend; Carmelo Ezpeleta – FIM Promoter Legend; Rob Rasor – FIM Family Legend; and Guy Maitre – FIM Family Legend, who were all recognised for their own contributions.
Both proud and delighted to have hosted this memorable evening, FIM President Jorge Viegas remarked: “ It has been a wonderful night. Having the chance to have all the World Champions together with Promoters and the FIM Family is very special. The riders made huge efforts during the whole season; they are here tonight and we are very happy.“
Youth Against AIDS and AXA announce a collaboration to build a prevention platform for the young generation
On occasion of World AIDS Day 2019 Youth Against AIDS (YAA) and AXA announced a collaboration to support YAA´s efforts to create a comprehensive sexual health and prevention platform for the young generation.
Digital tools and technical innovations are creating new opportunities in the fight against sexually transmitted diseases. This is especially true for prevention amongst young people. YAA and AXA use the advantages of the omnipresence of smartphones and growing demand of digital services to reach young people regardless of location or time. The platform, called FAQ YOU, includes a chatbot to answer the most common and pressing questions about sexual health and sexually transmitted diseases (FAQs) 24/7. The beta version of the chatbot will be launched in the US. Further tools will be integrated into the platform which will give young users guidance to services like conducting HIV tests, finding an STI clinic or condom dispensers or getting in touch with medical services via tele medicine. The platform aims to complement personal counseling services, which are often unavailable for young people, at at later stage.
“Today, we see many silos in the sexual health sector. It remains a challenge for our generation to access credible content, get the right answers on demand and to access youth-friendly services. We want to change this by creating a digital one-stop-shop solution for all needs on sexual health and education that meet the needs of our young target group. We believe that we need more innovation in prevention and FAQ YOU will be our answer to push these topics and to make a difference in the life of young people. We are grateful for the commitment of AXA that enables us to use modern technologies to help our generation to live healthier lives.”
– Daniel Nagel, CEO Youth against AIDS
“The partnership with Youth Against AIDS is very exciting for AXA – with this initiative we support YAA to evolve from a communication and awareness channel for youth to a digital source of health related content and services on sexual health and other taboo topics. We bring our expertise in emerging technologies and data while remaining true to our commitment to health and disease prevention.”

Aaron Carpenter returns with “Proud,” a poignant song from the road that celebrates the enduring influence of family and friends on a musician and the deep-seated desire to make them proud. The track was produced by Oren Yoel (Miley Cyrus, Fitz and The Tantrums, Tori Kelly). Download / stream “Proud” HERE.
“‘Proud’ perfectly describes what I’ve felt since I moved to L.A. on my own, away from all of my family – after everything that we’ve been through,” says Aaron Carpenter. “In 2015, I lost both my stepbrother and stepdad. They were both such big supporters and motivators of me pursuing my passion along with the rest of my family. I hope that ‘Proud’ resonates and helps people the same way that it’s helped me!” “Proud” is the latest in a string of singles Carpenter has released since signing to Capitol Records. As Idolator observed, “The Justin Timberlake-channeling, R&B/pop song [‘Attitude’] caught everyone’s attention, and he built on that momentum with the slinky ‘Chase.’ The 20-year-old now showcases his versatility with ‘Next’…battling a nasty case of lovesickness over The Roommates’ mellow beats…[it] will strike a chord with anyone going through it.”
BBC Radio 1 named “Attitude” as one of the Best New Pop tracks upon its release in April. StarShine Magazine recently chose “No Control” – also produced by The Roommates – as the Song of the Week.
Growing up in Louisiana, music was Carpenter’s entire world. Raised on everything from classic country to pop-punk to the Stevie Wonder records his grandmother often spun for him, he took up drumming at age 11, later teaching himself to play piano and guitar. He began posting cover songs in 2015 on Instagram, where he now has nearly four million followers.
Ready to share his own original songs, Carpenter headed to Los Angeles in 2016 and soon landed sessions with A-list songwriters. After spending nearly every day in the studio for an entire year, he signed with Capitol Records. He is currently working on his debut album.
