Today, the Atlanta genre-blending duo Danger Incorporated release their major label debut album, Hackers of The World Unite, via Awful Records/RCA Records. The new album is inspired by the one of the duo’s favorite movies from 1995, Hackers. Click here to listen to the album.

Playing around with genres since they were in high school, the duo, Louie Duffelbags and Boothlord, are known for morphing and manipulating familiar sounds to transform them into something that is distinctively and solely Danger Incorporated. Their new album is a testament to this, showing off their unique versatility as they continue to push boundaries in the music landscape.

This album marks their first ever collaboration with major producers such as Working On Dying and includes previously released tracks You / Me,”  Fucking For A Reason and Frankenstein.”

This is just the beginning for the creative pair. Look out for more from Danger Incorporated coming soon.

Toosii – Poetic Pain

Today, South Coast Music Group’s Toosii announces his new EP Poetic Pain coming this Fall and releases the title track Poetic Pain. Listen HERE. While deeply personal, Toosii wrote the smooth and soulful track during a spontaneous livestream session with fans.

Toosii recalls, “I was on live with the fans and they liked the beat I was playing, so I had them tell me what the beat made them feel, and we made the song from there.”

The official video, directed by NORATCHETSS, finds Toosii penning a love letter to the woman who shattered his heart and reminiscing about the special moments they shared. View HERE.

Like nearly all of his music to date, Poetic Pain was self-recorded at Toosii’s home in Raleigh, NC a purposely solitary approach he considers essential to his self-expression. “I really just love making music, so all I ever do is record,” he says.

Last week, Toosii released Love Cycle (with Summer Walker). Listen HERE. HotNewHipHop said, “Toosii and Summer Walker make a great team on Love Cycle, a perfect song for a mood playlist.” Love Cycle, one of the most popular tracks from Toosii’s Platinum Heart (Deluxe), has amassed nearly 35 million combined global streams to date.

Platinum Heart (Deluxe) charted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums tally and entered the Billboard 200 in June. With over 200 million combined global streams to date across its 20 songs, Toosii shot into the top 10 of Rolling Stone’s Breakthrough 25 chart for July, which tracks the fastest-rising artists of the month.

In the months following the mixtape’s release, Toosii has released a string of accompanying videos, including Stuck Inside Mercedez Love Cycle, which is the director’s cut of the Mercedez and Love Cycle videos that Toosii co-directed with Edgar Esteves, and Reminiscing, plus the official video for a new song, Push Start.

The 20-year-old rapper is an entirely self-driven and strong-minded artist, fiercely dedicated to following his instincts and one-of-a-kind vision. Since signing with South Coast Music Group (the label that catalyzed DaBaby’s rise as one of music’s biggest new stars in recent years), the Syracuse, New York native has won acclaim for his melodic flow and autobiographical storytelling, endlessly demonstrating his willingness to pour unguarded emotion into each song. Flaunt predicted, Toosii is about to take over the rap game. A compelling live performer, Toosii has supported such artists as DaBaby, Summer Walker, Polo G, Moneybagg Yo, Money Man, NBA Young Boy, Yung Bleu, City Girls and more

ADAM SANDERS × NEW LABOR DAY SINGLE

ADAM SANDERS CELEBRATES
LABOR DAY WEEKEND WITH
“DRINK DRANK DRUNK” Pop Culture Exclusively Premieres First Listen

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – No. 1 singer-songwriter Adam Sanders is celebrating Labor Day Weekend with the release of his latest single, “Drink Drank Drunk,” available now. With its riddle-inspired lyrics, Sanders labeled “Drink Drank Drunk” as the “Redneck Sobriety Test of Songs.” To stream or download “Drink Drank Drunk,” click HERE.

Pop Culture exclusively premiered a first listen to “Drink Drank Drunk,” writing, “With songs like ‘Make Em Wanna Change,’ ‘Burnin’ Roses,’ and ‘Ruled the World,’ Sanders is giving his fans a mesh between the old-school country with a modern twist. However, his latest single ‘Drink Drank Drunk’ may be the catchiest of them all (Victoria Moghaddami).”

“One morning I woke up and I just had this little, ‘I had a drink that I drank when I drank that drink, the drink I drank made me drunk.’ And I was like, well, I have no idea what that is, but that’s a tongue twister. My thought is, if you can sing it, you’re not drunk enough. Keep singing it. Keep drinking,” Sanders shared in the Zoom interview with Pop Culture. Fans can also look forward to a video for “Drink Drank Drunk,” starring Sanders, his guitar and a wakeboard, dropping soon.

Sanders, who recently signed a co-publishing deal with Round Hill Music Nashville, wrote “Drink Drank Drunk” with Tyler Chambers, Jordan Rager and Jacob Rice, who also produced the track. “Drink Drank Drunk” follows Sanders’ 2020 releases: “the mid-tempo, retro-cool song (Taste of Country),” “Make Em Wanna Change,” and “the infectious tune (Billboard),” “Ruled the World,” which featured his fellow singer-songwriters Hunter Phelps, Ray Fulcher, Cash Campbell, Faren Rachels, Josh Mirenda, Mitch Rossell and Drew Parker. The video, starring Tracy Lawrence, Aaron Tippin, Marty Raybon and Mike McGuire, has received over 1.4 million views.

The Lake City, Fla. native moved to Nashville in 2009 where he worked construction to pay the bills while developing his chops as a songwriter. Sanders earned his first No. 1 hit in 2015 with Cole Swindell’s “Ain’t Worth The Whiskey” which was quickly followed by another No. 1 with Dustin Lynch’s “Hell of a Night.” After learning how to craft a song that was right in the pocket for country radio, Sanders embarked on his artist career. As an independent artist, he has sold over 70,000 singles, scored over 90 million total streams and charted at No. 33 on Billboard’s Country Albums chart with his self-titled, debut EP.

ABOUT ADAM SANDERS:
Raw talent is essential for an artist to develop a successful career, but a strong sense of identity is just as crucial. Adam Sanders possesses both. The proof is in the listening of Sanders’ 2020 releases: “the infectious tune (Billboard),” “Ruled The World,” which featured seven singer-songwriters and a video starring Tracy Lawrence, Aaron Tippin, Marty Raybon and Mike McGuire, “the mid-tempo, retro-cool song (Taste of Country),” “Make Em Wanna Change,” and the “catchiest of them all (Pop Culture),” “Drink Drank Drunk.” A native of Lake City, FL, Sanders knew at an early age that music would be his life. Most of Sanders’ family had musical talent, especially his uncle Scotty Sanders, a professional steel guitar player, who encouraged his nephew’s dream. After honing his skills performing around northern Florida, Sanders moved to Nashville in 2009. He worked construction to pay the bills while developing his chops as a songwriter. His skills caught the attention of executives at Big Yellow Dog who signed him to a publishing deal in December of 2011. Sanders first found success in Nashville as a songwriter, penning songs for Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley and Tyler Farr, among others. One of Music Row’s hottest young songwriters, Sanders has topped the charts with such No. 1 singles as Cole Swindell’s “Ain’t Worth the Whiskey” and Dustin Lynch’s “Hell of a Night.” Sanders learned how to craft a song that was right in the pocket for country radio. He then embarked on his artist career, quickly earning a reputation as an up and comer to watch as he independently sold over 70,000 singles, scored over 90 million total streams and charted at No. 33 on Billboard’s Country Albums chart with his self-titled, debut EP. Sanders continues to lay the groundwork for what is destine to be the perfect pendulum swing from the story-telling and twang of the 90’s to the progressive infectious sound found in today’s Country Music.

BLXST RELEASES NEW EP

By Armon Hayes

In celebration, BLXST held a properly social distanced and invite-only listening forum last night in Santa Monica. During the friend & family event, the artist and producer shared his highly anticipated release, No Love Lost, out now! The EP, from the West Coast rapper-singer-songwriter under Red Bull Records, is an expansive and emotive collection of music inspired by past relationships and his hometown, LA. The EP is filled with instrumentation that fills the track with raw emotion—a vibe reminiscent of the legendary Nate Dog, and is accompanied by a four-part cinematic series of videos to bring the project’s overarching narrative to life.

No Love Lost’s quintessential West Coast vibe will be perfect to cruise to for a long time to come.

Imagine your windows rolled down, the sun shining while your speakers are on blast. Blxst’s sound fits right in—fluid musicality slides through the pocket between R&B and Hip-Hop seamlessly, complimented with just the right amount of swagger.

The EP has an edgy attitude and slick soul lyrics that will appeal to all ears and generations. Starting with the release of his latest single, “Overrated,” Blxst speaks on love’s risk and the expectations that we and society place on relationships unexpectedly not living up to our idealized expectations.  “Hurt,” on the other hand, is a mirror of life experiences, and specifically the processes of overcoming obstacles and what we learn from said trials.

Blxst is a multi-hyphenated, multi-threat talent. He initially earned notoriety for his production work and collaborations with artists like Kendrick Lamar, YG, Mozzy, G Perico, Eric Bellinger, Bino Rideaux, and more. His recent singles, including “My Emotions” and “Slip & Slide (feat. 1takejay)”, garnered praise from DJ Akademiks, Bibi Bourelly, TIDAL’s Elliott Wilson, and more

New Music Video for NEEDTOBREATHE – Mercy’s Shore

GRAMMY Award-nominated rock band NEEDTOBREATHE has returned with an official music video for “Mercy’s Shore.” The video, which premiered earlier today on TasteOfCountry.com, follows “Hang On” and “Who Am I” as the third Jared Hogan-directed clip in a five-part series of visuals for the band’s brand new album Out of Body. Watch it now HERE.

“We’re happy to release the next video in our Out of Body series. The album cover features the incredible Truman Lemire. We felt like he did a wonderful job of portraying the unified struggle that our band has been going through on our record cover, and itߣs great to have him in the video for ‘Mercy’s Shore’ as well,” the band shared. “We all find the ends of ourselves at one time or another, and our realization that we can’t do it alone is what this song and video are all about.”

This weekend, NEEDTOBREATHE will take the stage at CBS This Morning Saturday to deliver the network television debut performance of songs from Out of Body. Tune in at 9:00am ET/PT on Saturday, September 5 to watch. Additionally, for the remainder of this week, fans can join the band for numerous sessions, podcasts, interviews, and more. Follow @NEEDTOBREATHE for a full schedule of upcoming appearances.

ABOUT OUT OF BODY

Out of Body was released last Friday, August 28 via Elektra Records/Centricity Music, and is available physically and digitally now HERE. Upon its release, People applauded the super catchy new music, while American Songwriter commended the band’s solid capabilities in both ballads and upbeat anthem-style songs. Southern Living praised the group as “our favorite Southern rock band,” adding “several songs feel like they were written specifically to get us through this difficult moment in time.”

NEEDTOBREATHE welcomed the album with “Celebrating Out of Body,” a fully immersive release-day concert experience directed by acclaimed filmmaker Elizabeth Olmstead (Brandi Carlile, The Highwomen). The group performed the album top-to-bottom, live for the very first time, as well as select fan-favorite tracks. “Celebrating Out of Body” is available on-demand until September 11 HERE.

On Out of Body, the platinum-certified trio — Bear Rinehart [vocals, guitar], Seth Bolt [bass, vocals], and Josh Lovelace [keys, vocals] — examine life, family, and friends through a youthful prism. The guys take stock of not only two decades as a band, but also first-time fatherhood and the future over a rich soundtrack of soulful rock with stadium-size scope and poetic intimacy. After spending a week at a beach house in Charleston to gather thoughts and ideas, the trio headed to Nashville, to record alongside producers Cason Cooley and Jeremy Lutito. As they cultivated a team atmosphere, the songs organically came to life.

ABOUT NEEDTOBREATHE

GRAMMY Award-nominated NEEDTOBREATHE have mounted a steady ascent to the top of the charts and packed arenas everywhere. Formed in 1998, the group attracted a loyal grassroots following with their full-length debut Daylight [2006] and its follow-up The Heat [2007]. Two years later, The Outsiders became their first Top 20 entry on the Billboard Top 200 before eventually going gold. During 2011, The Reckoning landed at #1 on the Billboard Top Rock Albums Chart and #6 on the Top 200. In addition to bowing at #3 on the Top 200, 2014’s Rivers in the Wasteland yielded the platinum-selling Hot 100 hit “Brother” [feat. Gavin DeGraw] and “Multiplied,” which garnered their first GRAMMY nod. Meanwhile, H A R D L O V E [2016] marked their highest chart bow yet, debuting at #1 on the Billboard Top Current Album Sales Chart, as the title track “Hard Love” [feat. Andra Day] scored a gold plaque.

Along the way, they headlined and sold out iconic venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre, The Greek Theatre, and Ryman Auditorium, to name a few. The group picked up a pair of nominations at the Billboard Music Awards, and received praise from People, Rolling Stone, Forbes, and more. Now, NEEDTOBREATHE reflect the freedom of youth on their seventh full-length offering, Out of Body [Elektra Records/Centricity Music] over a rich soundtrack of soulful rock with stadium-size scope and poetic intimacy.
